Great Vibe! Amazing drinks and totally worth the visit!!!! Staff were extremely friendly and great Mixologists!!! Visited on a Saturday evening and the DJ is fire!!! Must try the Espresso Martini if you visit!!!

Amazing cocktails with the best bartenders. Becky and Joshua showed my friends and I so much love and provided us with elite customer services.

Second time here and really enjoyed it! Had the Luna Shine and it’s such a light and well balanced cocktail.

Great vibes and good drinks

I visited twice in the last couple months. The first time I went was great. Its a chill swanky spot, with great craft cocktails. So I was excited to go again, I’m but the second visit was enough to keep me from coming back. I was in a date and totally talked this place up. We get there, The bartender was nice, maybe a bit forward, but whatever. I think it started going down hill when another guest was starting to act erratically. Staggering and kept coming over and saying off the wall things. “Did you guys say desperate housewives?!” We like no. He goes away. He comes staggering back a few feet away staring at us, and just says “HEY!” And continues just to stand there and stare. We felt so uncomfortable. The bartender 100% recognized this and said he’s been dealing with him for hours. So… apparently that means let him stay and let him harass people? At this point the bartender has told us about how he likes being in “K-hole”, references smoking crack, and various other things. I don’t mind I’ve done my fair share of stuff but damn. This was a bit too much. The final straw was one the dude comes back over, stands inches from my date and I. Smiling again says nothing, finally my date says Bro I’m gonna need you to get away from us and get out of our space. He then gets close, Touches my date and says “you’re gonna give me you’re number”. We abruptly got up and left. Never have I felt so absolutely appalled and uncomfortable.

We stumbled across Luna. It is underwhelming. All we wanted was just to have a drink and enjoy the company. The menu says we will ride the wave of sophistication. Well that's not really us, but they were open past 9 pm on a Sunday. Super small space trying to create some kind of vibe they just weren't pulling off. All we wanted was 3 glasses of wine and one cocktail. Took at least 1/2 hour and many prompts. The bartender could not remember what we ordered. We kept going back and confirming. Order still came out wrong. Finally got drinks. Really, how hard is it to pour wine! Took almost an hour to deliver chips and salsa. When we went to ask for a second drink " she didn't have the time, there were 6 drinks ahead of us" we closed out. Keep in mind this is a very small space and was only maybe 1/2 full. Uninspiring. Don't bother.

Amazing vibes. I love how this place is low key in comparison to the rest of Walnut Creek. It reminds me of a speakeasy. The atmosphere is chic yet cozy. Even the ladies bathroom is nice. That's always a plus, in my book. It's a smaller space but I've gone with groups and date night. I've always enjoyed myself. The staff is always warm and welcoming.

Never. Again. Ambiance is welcoming, Rebekah the bartender was super friendly. However, $5.00 upcharge per drink for soda water in a vodka press is absolutely absurd. Also, I would like to point out for the record that NOWHERE on the menu, website, physical building, or a mention from the bartender to say there's going to be a charge for the soda. Yes, they pour fever tree as a default, but a four pack of fever tree will run you about $6.50 (or less) at your local grocery store. Yet you've got the audacity to blindly charge your customers $5.00 for half a bottle? Not only do you not keep to keep the bottle, goes back into the fridge after they make your drink, but you've got no idea you're even being charged for it until the bill comes. I get that businesses, especially new(er) ones, need to make money, but at what cost? This is an absolute joke of a business practice, and I sincerely hope all of you out there take this review to heart before deciding to be swindled at Luna. Because that's exactly what I feel like after leaving, that I got swindled.

A new boutique lounge within Waymark in Walnut Creek. The honey ordered a Velvet Buzzsaw and I ordered the Confidential. Both were fantastic. The color of the Confidential was gorgeous and the lavender taste was phenomenal. For drinkability, I'd likely go with a Velvet Buzzsaw, as the notes of rhubarb and raspberry were a bit more smooth. I also loved the ambiance. The music volume was perfect, as was the sound system, and the seating was plush and comfortable. The service - although on the more methodical side - was helpful and friendly. While everything else at Luna Sea was amazing, the charcuterie board was not to our taste. Although the small helping of raspberries, pistachios, and olives were all high quality, the larger amount of crackers, meat, and spread were not. I almost wished I hadn't ordered it because my review would be five stars otherwise. We were lucky that Mozzeria had a truck outside so we enjoyed a bit of delicious pizza after (deaf owned and operated) but I think overall Luna Sea would benefit from removing the board from the menu or working with a deli. All in all we would definitely return, but I wouldn't order the charcuterie board again.

Intimate boutique lounge near Walnut Creek bart. A discrete bar embodying the prohibition vibes of a speakeasy with amazing drinks for an overall relaxing experience. Stumbled upon this location by accident and I'm so glad I did, our bartender was so friendly and attentive. It's a new go to spot for happy hour!

My friends and I have been wanting to visit this bar for awhile because we were intrigued by the sea theme. It's a little further from broadway plaza and it gave speakeasy vibes. Walking in, it looked smaller than expected but I liked the cozy lounge vibes. All the bartenders were amazing! We walked into lgbt music playing and the bartender that attendeds Cal Berkeley let us play Pink Friday 2. We love a Barb. Becky was also so helpful when printing out our drinks! She was so patient and helped us troubleshoot the qr code. 10/10 would recommend. There was a lot of dudes there. We'll try to fix the ratio next time.

Luna Sea Lounge is a new speakeasy in Walnut Creek. I read a news article about its opening the other day and I visited with my friend last night. It's located at the Waymark Apartment building, next to the Walnut Creek Bart Station. It has a nautical theme and a beautiful whale mural on the wall. My friend and I snagged a couple of seats at the bar and we both ordered the "Take a Bite" drink, which has Rum, Ube, Coconut, and Curacao. It was pretty good, my friend thought it was a bit sour, but the bartender was nice enough to give us a bit of agave to sweeten it. It would be cool if this bar were located Downtown near Main Street, I feel like it would be easier to frequent or stop in during a night out.

Had an awesome experience here! It's off the beaten path but well worth it. The cocktails were well crafted and bartenders were so warm and friendly. Will definitely be coming back here.

Luna sea is the place to be! I stopped by today with some friends . Becky's hospitality is amazing & the drinks are delicious and very unique.

Ambiance: 5/5 Came here for a private party and loved the atmosphere. The lounge itself isn't very big. It consists of high seats at the bar and a few tables with couches. I loved the painting and the whole vibe of a "dark and stormy" sea adventure. The decor, ceiling, and walls were all beautiful accents to the overall theme. We had a set cocktail menu and 2 bartenders allocated for the private party. Cocktails: 3.75/5 The only cocktail my boyfriend and I tried was the syndicate, and it was perfectly made the first time by the bartender. We had a different bartender for our last 2 cocktails, which consisted of more citrus and not enough vodka. It was not very strong and gave me a bit of acid reflux. I enjoy a well-balanced cocktail, and these last 2 fell short of the mark. The cocktail itself was vodka, pineapple, citrus and serrano. Service: 3.75/5 The bartenders personalities started to open up a bit more as the party progressed. Nothing fantastic or terrible about their service,it was just good and what I'd expect from serving a huge private party. Overall, I'd like to give their other craft cocktails a shot under different circumstances. I really enjoyed the venue and vibe but need to try their other cocktails before I can definitively state the cocktails are worth it.

Really cool spot in a very unexpected location! I was a bit skeptical coming here since it's literally right next to Bart but wow, cool spot. My friends and I have been back here a few times now and enjoy how intimate and quiet it is. The bartenders are always super nice and accommodating, providing a very chill atmosphere. The only thing I would want more of here is more food offerings / snacks - otherwise, it's perfect! This has quickly become a favorite spot of my friends' and we look forward to coming back!

I came here while in town and was not disappointed. The drinks were amazing, service was great, and the ambiance felt like a speakeasy without being a full speakeasy. Becky was the bartender and was so helpful and friendly I definitely will be back.

Nice bartender-but the website gives false info. There is no menu/food. Also, I was not expecting that there was no table service. I had invited a group of friends and we all had to go up to the bar to order our drinks and to clear dirty glasses.

ot to try the new bar Luna Sea off Pringle in Walnut Creek (121 Pringle Ave). Awesome new place with a cool vibe and amazing hand crafted cocktails. I was lucky enough to go twice in two days- once for happy hour and once at night. It was not too busy at happy hour but packed at night! Great music playing! I tried the Syndicate- spicy pineapple and tequila, a classic perfectly done martini, and an espresso martini (made the way it should be - no creamy stuff). The foam drinks can have an image printed on top! They have a QR code to scan in any picture you want- so cool! They offer 3 food items as well. We tried the ceviche- overpriced for what it is butvi liked the spice in it. These is my new favorite adult beverage spot!

Dropped in on a Sat at 130pm. They've only been open a month, but it's a fun nautical lounge atmosphere! Service from the bar owner and Roni were fantastic. Great stories were told and will be back for more. Only had the Chips and salsa for snacks. They do have a cheese plate and ceviches for snacks as well. Current beer on tap: East Brothers from Richmond Ca, Topa Topa from Ventura and Figueroa Mtn Hoppy Poppy from central Coast.

Cute bar, nice ambiance, great drinks! I had the Syndicate and it was the perfect mixture of light pineapple, crisp vodka, sweet, spicy delicious cocktail. Staffs were beautiful and friendly. The only thing was the music on Friday night can be better. This is a so called speakeasy so it's located in the middle of bunch of business buildings downtown. But it's easy to find with the big bright sign outside.

People, please be aware their sites need to be updated. Their website says they are open on Thursday at 12 pm and Google displays a similar time. My friend and I got there a little after 12 pm and went inside. The man working there told us they didn't open till 3 on Thursdays. We had already paid for parking, and it was a very disappointing experience since I was really looking forward to going and I am not sure when my friend will be in town again.

Cocktails were amazing and strong, but the music was so loud! My friend and I sat at the bar and could barely hear each other talk. As long as you can get past the loud music, it was such a beautiful lounge! Dark, rich colors of blue and green, this is a great addition to Walnut Creek. Cocktail pricing is very reasonable ~$14 per drink

Brought some friends visiting from NYC here over the weekend. The service was quick and friendly. We had a total of 12 cocktails and every single one was mixed perfectly. Will definitely be visiting again. Great spot to meet up with friends or go on a date

Nice little bar with an intimate, upscale feel. Visited on a Tuesday afternoon and it was very chill with just a few parties spread over the large room. The mural is spectacular, a really nice and unique tough. Cocktails are modern and creative, with a large selection of spirits and a great bar tender who was very helpful. The overhead flood lights were on and that was a little too bright for my taste, but easily remedied. Street parking is metered and it's located near the WC Bart.

Just discovered the stunning Luna Sea Lounge @lunasealounge in Walnut Creek and it's an absolute must-visit! The owner, decor, vibe, and cocktails are all out of this world. Their use of fresh ingredients in their drinks gives them an incredibly refreshing twist. Plus, they distill their own vodka in Santa Cruz, and their blue vodka turns purple when citrus is added - a mesmerizing sight! And let's not forget the delectable small bites like ceviche! The mural here is an absolute masterpiece by the great @kevinwalshy, one of the most beautiful pieces of art I've ever seen. The Carrot Head cocktail stole the show for me - a must-try! I'm already planning my next visit; Luna Sea Lounge has won my heart. If you find yourself in Walnut Creek, make sure to swing by and tell Deven I sent you. Cheers to unforgettable experiences!

Easily my favorite bar in Walnut Creek. You know when you meet an insanely beautiful person, but then realize they have an equal amount substance? Coming to Luna is essentially the same experience. The bar? Gorgeous. The bartenders?? So beautiful (shout out to Josh, Becky, and Roshelle) The cocktails??? Stunning and well balanced. I love the ambiance and that it's a fun but classy bar. It's not a dive bar and it's not a resturant with a bar. It's the perfect lounge that's that's super sexy and the vibes are immaculate. Attracts a diverse, fun, and respectful crowd as well.

New bar right outside of downtown Walnut Creek! Located below waymark apartments. These drinks are GOOD. Probably one the top bars to get a good cocktail. There bartenders are so friendly and attentive. They made sure our drinks were made to our liking! We went around 6pm on a Saturday. The bar was full but everyone had a seat, At about 8pm, this place was POPPIN. Lots of friendly people and standing room only so fyi on picking what time to go.

Place was clean. Drinks were good except for 1 drink, it had rum, ube, and coconut, the coconut and ube didn't mix well together. Bartender was very friendly and he was the only one working the bar.

Charming new place in WC. Parking was easy, comfortable atmosphere, and a theme of oceans and fantasy makes for easy and relaxing conversations. The drinks are thoughtfully made, refreshing, and pleasantly potent. Great place for a date or chatting!

A small but very dreamy lounge. Definitely love the aesthetics of the lounge. It was very dark yet whimsical. Came here on a Friday night for a drink with friends and I ordered the espresso martini. I had a picture printed on the drink but it didn't show well. I recommend choosing a picture of a person and not multiple as it does not print well if there are multiple people on the imagine. The picture I choose did not turn out well but the drink was amazing. The lounge itself is not as spacious and we did have to wait about 10 min for a table for our group of 6. Definitely would not recommend coming here if you're a large party as there might not be space. I only tried one drink but would definitely want to come back to try their other drinks. The drinks were pretty well priced as well.

Great new spot to have a drink and snacks. Bartenders are friendly and make good drinks. Wish they had a few more snacks like fries but the charcuterie board was nicely put together and delicious. Very esthetically pleasing. Music selection is nice too. There's street parking. Will definitely come back again and again.

Quaint neighborhood speakeasy with charming attentive staff. They were experiencing one of their busiest evenings yet on October 11, however remained steadfast to service. Cocktail menu was fresh and intriguing, and am looking forward to returning to sample more. We started with expresso martinis, then I moved to a suggested red wine from the owner, Devin, which was solid. He is customer focused, and was in the process of installing a TV based on customer's feedback. The place is a stones throw from the Walnut Creek Residence Inn and BART, nice not to have to fight downtown traffic and parking is easy. No dress code, I rolled in wearing leggings and a ball cap. Will dine next time.

This review is long overdue... we went once early one Sunday on a whim and had such a great time. The owner happened to be there and took time to talk us through the menu and even offering to let us try the specialty vodka he created. Every drink we had was spectacular and even the vodka exceeded our expectations- it was so smooth and didn't leave us with a headache or any other side effects which I usually take to mean it's excellent quality. One of my favorite parts of this place is the custom espresso martini they do! So much fun. And I love how this has a laid-back speakeasy vibe just outside of the craziness of downtown. Very excited to come back, it seems like a great place to lounge and have a drink with friends.

Heard about this new place in Walnut Creek from my softball teammates and decided to check it out with them one night. The lounge is super cute and is a very fun vibe to hang out in. We were too late for food so didn't try any of that but the cocktails were delicious and the music was fun. You can also scan a QR code and put a drink on an espresso martini. Very fun times and definitely will be back!

Really really like this place. Hip, chill, fun, easygoing and mature. Great drinks, great charcuterie board, great setting, beautiful bar, nice house music, and the clientele and service really all was wonderful. They have a printer that prints photos on your drink. It's really cool. Definitely try it! The giant ocean mural inside is so worth a visit by itself. The cocktails are excellent. Smoke bubbles and all. Thank you for the experience on Thanksgiving. We just wandered in luckily, no affiliation with the owner, this place was just perfect for us and wanted to let people know who may also want an experience and like to support cool local spots.

Only 1 of the 3 bartenders was making drinks so it takes about 20 minutes for a drink. Friendly service (no table service so go to the bar!), drinks were as expected, ambiance is beautiful. This is isn't a speakeasy- just a bar.

This is a gorgeous, brilliant lounge! Perfectly lively, but relaxing vibes with amazing drinks and comfortable seats! Menu also has snacks in case you want food! Staff was super friendly too! On the smaller side, but go early and you'll def get a spot! I'll be returning!

Husband and I were in town for a wedding and decided to check this place out on a Friday night. We love exploring new bars/lounges and craft cocktails with an intimate feel. We totally thought this place would be just that, But. It. Was. Not. Firstly, if you have a small venue you shouldn't have loud, obnoxious large parties with drunk ass birthday boys barely able to stand up! Close the place down for a private event in that case! Secondly, the drinks were rather watered down and disappointing. The prices of the drinks were reasonable but so not worth it. The vibe of the place could be so much better.

Place is beautiful. drinks were amazing. but PLEASE turn down the music. You say you're a lounge. your seating is set up for conversation (and it's spread out). but I came in and there was techno music blaring.

Went to Luna Sea and met the owner who was awesome! Drinks were fantastic! The interior was done very well and the mural was beautiful! A previous review stated you had to be dressed up to get service...wrong wrong wrong! We had shorts and t-shirts on. We met other couples inside who were dressed like us and extremely nice. We will definitely be back! Cheers Luna Sea!
