The Best Restaurants in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama | Eater New Orleans

"Diners love Luna’s for having one of the best craft beer selections on the beach, its nightly lineup of live music, and a simple menu of Southern classics like tomato pie, New Orleans-style barbecue shrimp, and sides like braised collards, fried okra, and country green beans. The mahi sandwich is a winner for lunch on the grassy, dog-friendly patio." - Clair Lorell

If you’re craving amazing seafood and crab legs, Luna’s is the place to be! After hearing mixed reviews about other local spots—including a less-than-stellar experience at Zeke’s—I was hesitant to try another restaurant nearby. But after reading multiple positive reviews, we decided to give Luna’s a shot, and I’m so glad we did. The seasoning was spot-on, the homemade dips were delicious, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the service was wonderful throughout our meal. Overall, Luna’s exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood dining experience!

We were looking for a place with a lot of variety, and Luna's for the bill. I had the Beerger burger, and it was really good. I asked for medium, and it was cooked a little longer than medium but still good. My wife got a small Caesar salad with blackened chicken. She commented on how amazing the chicken was. We ordered appetizers, hush puppies and firecracker shrimp. The hush puppies were especially good with a slight hint of pimento doing with blueberry pepper jelly. So good! Our friends ordered jambalaya Mac n cheese, and it was so smooth and creamy good. The ambiance was really nice. It's busy, but it wasn't overly loud. Our server, Avian, was amazing. She was funny and super helpful with recommendations. Five stars, highly recommended!

Went for the $11 lunch specials that comes with 3 sides. I have the Luna house Brew with the braised collards(best I’ve tasted) mash n gravy and the Mac n cheese. Did I forget the hand breaded Nashville chicken, so tender and flavorful. Will be back for happy hour specials!

Google
Went here for Happy Hour. The Chardonnay was undrinkable. They serve Pinot Grigio but that is not included with the happy hour {???}. I got the Fire Cracker Shrimp. The shrimp were delicious. The sauce on the shrimp was quite tasty. I also got alot more shrimp than I thought I would get. My wife got the Beer Cheese Dip. The pretzel bites served with the dip was tasty.

I recently had lunch at this charming spot, and it was a true gem! The restaurant is set in a beautifully restored house with cozy, Southern charm and gorgeous grounds that make you feel right at home. The menu is all about down home Southern comfort food—think A meat-and-3 lunch plates, Nashville hot chicken, and the best shrimp and grits you’ve ever tasted. I stopped in for a light lunch and settled on a cup of gumbo and the deviled eggs appetizer. Wow, the gumbo hits you at the first spoonful. This is good stuff but a light roux. I loved that the deviled eggs came with a scoop of pimiento cheese topped with some fresh pork rinds and bread and butter pickles. Everything was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The service was warm and friendly, and the laid-back, inviting atmosphere made for a perfect, relaxed meal. Do not, whatever you do, skip the fried pecan pie dessert. I don’t normally eat dessert but I was in one of those moods and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself lately. The fried pie came with a generous scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a drizzle of Bourbon molasses that we could all eat by the spoonful if allowed. If you're looking for authentic Southern food in a peaceful, scenic setting, this place is a must-visit!

Google
Had a great experience here at Lunas. We go to orange beach every year for vacation and we wanted to try out Lunas as we have never been. The food was awesome. I got fried crab legs and my wife got a steamer platter. The service was awesome as our server was very nice and very helpful. They also have live music out side with a kids play area. Really recommend this place!

Google
Food was great, service was great. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite. If you're in Orange Beach definitely go to Luna's.

Google
Went there spur of moment and so glad we did. Food and service was amazing. Great atmosphere

Yelp
I eat lunch there weekly, always good food & service. When kids come to town they always want to go, grandkids love it out back.

Yelp
Everything is amazing food, service and entertainment! Little bit of a wait tonight but kids are enjoying the grassy area and great place to snap a few cute pictures of the family!

Yelp
Okay so this was the best meal of our trip. I didn't expect to love it but I've been thinking nonstop about it. Unfortunately it was on the last day is our trip or I may have eaten there everyday. I had the Nashville hot chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, collard greens and Mac and cheese and a cornbread on the side. Hands down everything was 10/10. Best mac and collard greens I have ever had ANYWHERE. My husband had the meatloaf, whipped sweet potatoes, and collards and a side of cornbread. Both of us couldn't stop saying "omg this is so good." We will definitely come back next time we're in town. Food was hot and fast. Sheryl was nice. Very impressed.

Yelp
It's been over 4 years since my last review and it's about time that I update this place, it is after all one of my go-to places. There have been some changes to the menu and improvements and additions to the outdoors experience. On Canal Road in Orange Beach, Luna's Eat & Drink has a dining experience that combines fresh seafood and Southern-inspired dishes in a family-friendly atmosphere. It's been a real local favorite place for as long as I can remember with it's blend of coastal fare, Southern hospitality, and inviting ambiance. Luna's Eat & Drink prides itself on its history of serving delicious, locally sourced seafood and classic Southern dishes with a contemporary twist. The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a fun and friendly staff. It now boasts a grassy courtyard with a performance stage, Adirondack chairs and picnic tables, and a huge raised sandpit for the kids, it's a perfect for outdoor games and family gatherings. The cuisine at Luna's showcases the best of the Gulf Coast region, offering a wide selection of dishes that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences. Some of their popular dishes include: * Buttermilk & Fried Chicken * Tomato Pie (it's crazy good year round) * Fried Pecan Pie * Nashville Hot Chicken * Crab and Artichoke Melt * Crab Claws * Great salads * Pimento cheese hushpuppies (amazing) * Great Steaks * and outstanding fresh Gulf seafood I didn't mention in my previous review that Cosmo's Restaurant & Bar, Buzzcatz Coffee & Sweets, GT's on the Bay, and Cobalt The Restaurant are all part of the same restaurant group that also owns Luna's Eat & Drink. The group is owned by the Harsanys, a couple known for their successful restaurants in the Orange Beach area of Alabama. These restaurants offer a variety of dining experiences, from Southern cuisine to seafood specialties, and are known for their quality food and unique atmospheres. Luna's Eat & Drink is open for lunch and dinner, with varying hours throughout the week. Their operating hours can be found on their website, https://lunaseatanddrink.com/, which also features their full menu and online reservation system. In addition to their official website, Luna's has very active presence on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lunaseatanddrinkob/, a good resource for staying updated on special events, promotions, and new menu items. Luna's Eat & Drink also offers catering services and event hosting, like murder mystery theater , Oktoberfest, and more and makes a nice venue for weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions. Their dedicated staff and culinary team work together to ensure that every event is a resounding success, with a focus on providing a memorable dining experience for all guests. Bottom line: Luna's is a gem that offers a unique and delicious fusion of coastal seafood and Southern cuisine with an inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, and exceptional service. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
This was one of the most economic meals I've ever had on the coast. Price vs. quality, Luna's is king of all beach places and it's right here folks. If you are in town and want a good lunch at a great price, here it is. We did buy the crab claws at MP of $26. Not a good value. They were unfortunately, some of the worst I've ever had. Tough to eat with low flavor. Meat was kind of "mealy", if that is a thing. Idk, I just didn't think they were good quality compared to what I have had before. That sucked. Oh well. Outside of that, the meals were great! I had the Blackened Redfish with fried Brussels and Grits. Gosh damn it was good. The Brussels were maybe the best I have ever had. I ate every damn grit on that plate along with all of the fish. $16. Damn. The Cobia special was only $12, I should have ventured out. The most beautiful bride ever got some kind of Deviled Eggs Pimento Cheese plate with all of the goodies man. She tore it up! It was exactly what she was looking for that day. Our waitress was pretty groovy man. She took care of us and made us giggle all the while. I'm not sure who was higher, me or her... The sign at the urinal in the men's room is the best I've seen. Funny as hell. All in all, solid place man. I'd go back in a heartbeat. '24 - 39/100

Yelp
So, if you're into craft beer, this is your place. I didn't take a head count...but there must have been 20-25 choices for draft craft beer alone. Anyway, the atmosphere is laid back and the staff are excellent. The food was great and would highly recommend you trying it out. I will definitely be coming when I visit the area again.

Yelp
A quaint local restaurant whose food is brimming with flavor. Nice selection of Southern favorites mixed with local seafood specialties. Fried chicken with mashed potatoes, collard greens and corn bread were a hit. The chicken was actually a boneless chicken breast but had lots of flavor. The collard greens were absolute perfection! The corn bread was a little dry but still flavorful. The shrimp po'boy sandwich may have been the best thing we ate. The shrimp was succulent and just perfectly crispy. The batter was light and also had lots of flavor. The prices are good, wait staff very attentive and the food great!

Yelp
We really enjoyed ourselves here. It was a cute place. The food was 5 stars. One of Yelp's descriptors is "diner" and I would not call it a diner at all, except it does have some items that would be found on a diner's menu, but they are more elevated. I think that the value for the food was good. Everyone in the party enjoyed what they got. The menu was diverse--but it lended itself to southern cuisine. It is sure to please just about anyone. I had the grillades and grits, which was thin pork atop creamy grits in a tomato gravy. I didn't need to, but I ate it all. My son got a half crab and half shrimp steamer plate and demolished it. My daughter got a filet with mashed potatoes and green beans. She did not need a to-go box. Her friend got the jambalaya Mac and cheese--it was a huge portion of Mac and cheese combined with shrimp, peppers and conecuh sausage. She could not finish it but really enjoyed it. It was nice that they offered some of the alcoholic beverages as "virgin" so the teenage girls could have a daiquiri. What keeps it from being 5 stars, for me, was how pushy the waitress was. She was nice, but I had to tell her no several times to drinks and appetizers and desserts. We just didn't want or need them. I know she's supposed to sell the food and drinks but it made me feel uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it was overall a good time and I would go back next time I'm in the area.

Justin R.

Yelp
The food was excellent but the service was a little slow. I would also install some fans in the outdoor eating section.

Katie G.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere, great place to eat. Service was great. No long wait. We walked right in both times I went

Maci M.

Yelp
So yummy!! We got the lunch special. And our service was amazing! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
After calling around several restaurants in the area and each being a 3-4 hour wait .. yes we did plan the worse time to go eat dinner leaving condo at 5:30... Went to Luna's to try it with its 4.3 rating and since they said 30 min wait . We checked in there at 6:30... and waited.. and waited .... We did not sit down till 9:15.......... If we would've known it was gonna be a 3 hour wait we could've ate where we wanted to .. zekes ...! Anyway they bring us to our table outside it had just rained everything was wet still and the roof was one of those shade tarp things so was just steadily dripping on us . We found a way to laugh bout it and move on . We even moved our table over a little .. 20 minutes go buy while sittin at table and we still do not have a waitress............ 20 min !!!! One of our friends at our table got up and let them know . They said "okay. Sorry. Hold on just a min . " she came and got our drinks / app / food ordered. Was not the friendliest .... Working with the public myself I get it's a lot I'm sure she had been busy all night but still ...! Try ! As we are waiting for our food roaches crawling up wall . On floor . And one even fell on friends shoulder ...!! Leading to him to get up and have to take his shirt off .. it was so nasty !! We killed 3 roaches while waiting for the food .. we should've left at this point ! ... We saw atleast 7 though ...!! Mac and cheese had no flavor . Cajun Mai Mai seemed like it was cooked in microwave .. husband said his steak was not terrible but we will not be back !!! So let down overall !! I know Lunas , cosmos , gt on bay and Colbolts are all owned by same people .. And so far we have tried everything but cosmos . And Colbolts is the only good one !!

Yelp
My wife and I stopped by here for dinner. We were encouraged by the 4+ rating. The location is easy to get to on the north side of the island, particularly from the eastern end of Orange Beach. Plenty of parking. The building and landscaping are attractive and inviting with interesting seating if you have to wait for a table. No waiting when we went. Inside is the eclectic decor you'd expect from a bar. The menu is filled with southern favorites from simple to more elegant. We decided to go with a Burger (The Berger) and a couple of appetizers. The selections were enticing on the menu, but they didn't live up to expectations. The fried onions were under done. They hushpuppies were a bit heavy but tasty. The blueberry pepper jam was very tasty though. The Beerger was good, but could have used something fresh (pickles maybe) to provide a different texture to each bite. I commend the cook for delivering the medium-rare patty we ordered. Service was good and efficient. It's loud inside so don't go if you're seeking to have an intimate conversation. The reviews are generally excellent so maybe we just visited on an off night. We'll try it again on another trip.

Yelp
It's a review long overdue! In October from the culinary dessert of Pensacola, FL, we moved our beach chairs east to Orange Beach AL. So desperate to find a good southern cooking spot for some collards, shrimp and grits, etc., after all the tourist traps we've experienced in Florida, hubby found Luna's. We tried our luck here for lunch, and the meat and 3 was a hit for both of us. I liked my blue fish with 2 sides of collard and grits. Well, life is short so we came back for dinner. It was another win with groupers cooked to perfection. The next morning we were on our way to the Pensacola Airport and didn't want to try to eat there, so we took out again from here... wish we had a similar establishment near by!

Audrey H.

Yelp
Food was absolutely amazing!!! I loved the menu option where you choose a meat and get three sides, the meal looks large at first, but it was a perfect amount of food. Service was great!
google avatar

Rick D.

Yelp
It was good, but not great. Wife had the fried shrimp platter. It was good, about what you'd expect. Kids and I all had the special. It was goat head. We got it with their Brussels and Mac cheese. Again, good but not great. All got it grilled. Mine didn't really have much grilled flavor to it and was a little overcooked. Brussels were a touch on the greasy side. The Mac cheese was fine. We all finished the plate but was a little underwhelmed. Not sure it's a be back place or not. Waitress was friendly but not the best. Wife drink went empty and never offered or checking on us to refill. Solid 3.5 but I am giving 3.

Yelp
Good food at reasonable prices. Check out their lunch specials. best deal on the island for $11.00.

Yelp
Yolanda was an awesome waitress. Food and service were top notch. Highly recommend going if you're in Orange Beach area.

Yelp
Hey, man, so like, we hit up this joint in Orange Beach, and let me tell ya, it's the bomb, dude! They got this craft beer menu that's like, outta sight, man! I mean, seriously, the beer selection is so vast, it's like a trip through Willy Wonka's brewery, you know what I'm sayin'? And tonight, oh man, the Okra Double IPA was like a flavor explosion in my mouth! It was so good; I felt like I was riding a magical beer wave, man! Now, when it comes to the grub, these cats always deliver, man. I've sampled almost everything on their menu, and it's all primo stuff. From shrimp and grits to pork bites (or whatever they call 'em), it's like a flavor fiesta in your mouth, dude. And don't even get me started on those deviled eggs with pork skins and pimento; it's like a party in your taste buds! But here's the kicker, the chicken wings, man, they're the real deal. They give you whole wings, and they're so good; I felt like I was floating on a winged cloud of flavor. And the service, dude, it's always top-notch. This place, out of like 10 visits, has never let us down, man, although I'm bummed they don't have oysters on the half shell anymore. So, you bet your bong I'll be back on my next road trip through town, maybe even today or tomorrow! That Okra IPA, it's like my siren song, man! Gotta answer the call, you know?

Maya D.

Yelp
Our waitress Mallory was so sweet, and the manager even came around to check on us which was very nice to see. The food I cannot reccomend enough, I had the filet and it was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. My boyfriend had the fresh catch sheepshead and it had beautiful grill marks and the crawfish etouffe was to die for. I even got the coolest souvenier cup with the best cocktail (mango mama) iʻve had in Gulf Shores! Iʻll be eating here every visit and would highly recommend this to anyone!

Yelp
Luna's is a really great spot that offers fantastic value, good friendly service and a great environment. Luna's offers daily plate lunch specials with a meat and three for a more than fair price. Luna's also offers a daily happy hour with $2 beers that makes me very happy. The ONLY thing I have been less than impressed with here is their dessert offerings have yet to really grab me but that has so far been mainly due to the lack of ice cream involved. This is a fun spot with fun folks working hard to ensure they make for a fantastic experience for you along with serving good food along with the good times. It isn't often I get really impressed with a place but Luna's definitely delivers a great experience for an amazing value. What are you waiting for? You need to visit ASAP!!! My video review of Luna's Eat & Drink is here: https://youtu.be/RAIaKvJSctg

Alexis B.

Yelp
Very cute little area. We ended up leaving because they didn't have the crab claws, they suggested we go down the road to their "sister store". They didn't have them either. They should make it more obvious that they only have them "when available". The server was very sweet though!
google avatar

Bart J.

Yelp
Love their brined whole chicken wings naked with a side of blue cheese to dip them in. A bit hard to handle but well worth it.
google avatar

Amy J.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance was well worth the visit! Glad we got to visit on a recent trip to Orange Beach.
google avatar

Mckenna C.

Yelp
We are visiting from out of state. I personally did not care much for this restaurant. The food was just okay and some items were on the more expensive side. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. The food wasn't necessarily bad, it's just wasn't great. A lot of space inside and out & great for kids and large parties.
google avatar

Harvey G.

Yelp
Place was pretty clean, and service was good. Hostess and waitress were very nice. Food is what gets the three stars. We had a party of seven, at the end of the night I asked everyone how their food was and I got the wobbly hand. Just ok. I had the fresh catch, the snapper was good, but overdone. Grits held the shape of the dipper which is too done for me. The Brussel sprouts are good if you like them fried. The pork in the grits and grillades was a little fatty for my taste. The fried shrimp were good, but Docs seafood were better. The deviled eggs were really good, and so was the beer cheese. Lots of beer on tap to choose from. But overall, we will look for another place. Wasn't terrible, wasn't great, and a little on the expensive side for what it was.

Paula P.

Yelp
My family and I love this restaurant. My kids, especially love the mac & cheese. And the crab dip appetizer is awesome.
google avatar

Renee R.

Yelp
Love the food. They have some of the best fried shrimp in town. They're reasonable prices and great atmosphere. The service was perfect Can't ask for much more.
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
This was a solid place to satisfy your seafood cravings! We came just during happy hour and ordered drinks for the table, a benefit to coming early. The food was good! My fish sandwich was good. If you have kids they do have a huge outdoor area with corn hole and live music.
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
Yes. Yes. Yes. Hubby got the crab legs, a little salty but great flavor you could actually taste (a lot of them get watered down, but not here). I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was Ah-mazing. Crunchy and hot and delicious. Service was also great and attentive, good family atmosphere.

David S.

Yelp
Had the southern fried chicken fish was great. Very busy place but we were seated immediately.
google avatar

Madeleine P.

Yelp
Workers were so friendly and so helpful with special accommodations, and the food came out quick. Food was amazing! The restaurant wasn't too crowded, had great seating, and was very welcoming. Overall the entire experience was wonderful. 10/10 definitely recommend. We will be there again soon!
google avatar

Debe K.

Yelp
Service by Cheryl was superb!! Fast seating n ordering drinks! Dinner came quick and hot. Had the catfish nuggets and onion straws. The sauce was perfect n not hot. Nuggets were good. Buttermilk breading. Onion straws are the Brest that I have had. We shared the gumbo soup. Had a slight spice but delicious. Hubby had fries and the Philly Cheesesteak which he thoroughly delicious. Would definitely go back!!!

Yelp
I love this place! We come here every June and we love it! The creole bbq is amazing and we tried the Nashville Hot Chicken for the first time and I can't wait to get it again. My wife and son were also big fans of the chicken. It is tender and juicy inside and crispy crunchy on the outside. It is perfect!

Aaron M.

Yelp
Food was good but service was really bad. The server litterly forgot something each time he came to our table.

Karla J.

Yelp
Wow! We were told to eat at Luna's Eat & Drink and to order the tomato pie & pimento cheese hush puppies! Let me just say, delicious, yummy & was so amazing! We had the best & sweetest waitress, Jessica too! She was spot on telling us about how almost everything is homemade daily! Our lunch ended with the "Holy Smoke" chocolate, cream cheese dessert! Definitely be sure to eat here! You will not be disappointed! And ask for Jessica, she was such a delight!

Yelp
Night two dinner on our summer vacay. We had excellent service from Rick and enjoyed our food. We had the crab and artichoke dip and it was delicious and flavorful. I had the jambalaya Mac and cheese and enjoyed the flavors but the shrimp were tiny. I would have rather had few less but bigger, plumper shrimp. Others in my party tried the blackened snapper, the bronzed grouper and the ribeye and they all raved about their dishes. Also enjoyed the fried pecan pie as dessert. They had some outdoor seating and live music going which created a nice atmosphere but we opted for indoor seating as it was toasty. I would definitely recommend Lina's and plan to return on a future trip to OBA.
google avatar

Sherry M.

Yelp
Everything was soooo delicious!!! We had lunch here two days during our stay in Orange Beach. First day, we each had the lunch special with fried catfish, fried okra, smoked grits and collard greens. Also, the hush puppies with pimento cheese were awesome. Great traditional southern cuisin. The second day we started with the onion straws. What can I say??? DELICIOUS!!! The we had their lunch salads--lunch Caesar with grilled shrimp and the green salad with cold shrimp. Both were excellent! Don't miss Luna's when in Orange Beach!

Alexandra P.

Yelp
I saw a huge roach in the bathroom. Also the food is almost exactly the same as five other places around

Emily H.

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal! The service was excellent, the appetizers and entrees all were spectacular, especially the Mahi! We will be back!

Lorrie N.

Yelp
We loved the place and the food. Patio is pet friendly. Our little one was in her stroller.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying...we have been traveling from Myrtle Beach, to the Outer Banks, and now in Orange Beach for the past month. Best meal out by far is Lunas!! We started with the artichoke and crab dip. Very tasty dip with warm pita slices. Baked with Swiss and Parmesan cheeses. For mains we had the ribeye, and the shrimp and sausage jambalaya Mac and cheese. Oh my goodness. Side of Brussels with the steak was best ever. For dessert we tried the fried pecan pie with vanilla bean ice cream and bourbon caramel sauce. Wow. Everything was fantastic. If you do not try this place while in the area, you are truly missing out. Check em out !!!!

Yelp
Lunch at Luna's is very affordable. They offer a $10 protein special with 3 sides. I had the okra, greens and corn fritters with popcorn shrimp, the okra being the highlight of the special. My son's grilled shrimp looked more appetizing. If you are looking for somewhere cheap for lunch, this is an okay spot. The staff is very friendly and they have a sandbox in the back for the kiddies.
google avatar

Philip K.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, food was very good. Crab dip was very tasty and rich, popcorn shrimp was fried to perfection and the wife had the specialty salad. Service was excellent, will be back.

Yelp
Leaving the Key today for Pensacola we wanted to try a new to us restaurant and settled on Luna. Are we genius restaurant pickers or what? Such a great dining experience. As the temps have moderated, particularly after nighttime and morning rains, we opted for the covered back deck area. The selection of draft beers on tap is nigh to overwhelming, almost all of which are unfamiliar to me so I went with the popular IPA our server suggested, the Gulf Coast Ghost Train IPA. It is not particularly complex or hoppy, but it is pretty smooth. Understandably popular and just $6. Miss Anne had a Luna Nuda Pinot Grigio at just $8. I decided on the Creole BBQ shrimp appetizer and Miss Anne the fish of the day lunch special which was Amberjack, a 6 or so ounce piece accompanied by smoked Gouda grits, fried okra and collard greens. All for $12! Are you kidding me? LOL. For the life of me I cannot imagine why the BBQ shrimp is listed as an app and not an entree as the dish consisted of ten or twelve perfectly cooked large shrimp and four large slices of yummy buttered and grilled baguette shaped bread. This was as good as if not better than any NOLA style BBQ shrimp I've ever had. I took five of the shrimp home with me for supper! If that does not look like a dozen shrimp in my pic, it's because I done gone and et three shrimp before remembering to take a pic. Our server, Yolanda, was so very pleasant, patient, helpful and perfectly attentive. Luna's will def be a go to on future visits to the area! A+

Yelp
We went here for dinner while on a girls trip. I got the redfish special grilled with a topping of crab and artichoke sauce. I changed my side the mashed potatoes which were delicious! I got the side of green beans which were lacking in flavor and were canned. The fish was good, and the sauce was nice. We also ordered fried hush puppies that came it's a blackberry pepper jelly. They were plentiful and very good. I'd come back as it was better than most of the places around.

Yelp
Luna's has a refreshingly local feel and it's a nice break from the touristy spots in the area. They have excellent craft beer options, which was the initial reason for our visit, but this place offers so much more! They have a laid back outdoor area, they are dog friendly, the gumbo is the best I've had in the area and the place is excellent for large groups. Employees were all very friendly and welcoming, everyone greeted us with a genuine smile and hello. The food options at Luna's range from Cajun classic to Nashville hot chicken. They even have spaghetti and meatballs or ribeye for the non-adventurous palates in your group.

Yelp
Great environment. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Live music outside. Kids play area. Very good fried shrimp dinner. The shrimp tasted like it had just come off the boat, lightly breaded so you could taste more shrimp than breading. The hush puppies had a blueberry dipping sauce and were great. Waiter was very attentive. Highly recommend Luna's!
