Downtown’s modern taquería pairs scratch‑made salsas and inventive fillings with one of Northern Colorado’s largest agave selections. After a brief winter pause, it reopened in April 2025 with refreshed energy and a rooftop-ready vibe, as reported by BizWest. Locals come for pork belly tacos, elote, and smart margaritas.

The food is very Americanized. They have flour tortillas with their tacos and a deep fried corn tortilla. Liked. The Tacos that I liked was the cheese with rajas and the pork belly fried pork belly . Five dollars per taco on average. A fun place to have drinks

This place is so much fun and the environment is amazing! Everyone was so friendly and nice. I drove 2hrs for this experience and will definitely come back. Food and service was amazing! Hand crafted margaritas are a must try. Tacos were really good and the homemade hot sauce you have to try. Upstairs has a great balcony patio area outside and pingpong table. Great environment! 5 stars!!!

Luna’s Tacos in downtown Greeley is one of our favorite spots for a fun, affordable meal—especially on Taco Tuesday, when street tacos are just $1 with any drink purchase. My boys love getting lemonade, and I usually order what we jokingly call a “Mexican lemonade”—a virgin margarita with that same zesty flavor, minus the alcohol. The tacos are fresh, flavorful, and approachable—not greasy, just really well done. The atmosphere at Luna’s is vibrant and creative—an eclectic mix of modern Mexican and downtown artsy charm. We haven’t been back since their recent remodel, but every part of the restaurant we’ve sat in has been welcoming and fun (the rooftop is a great bonus when the weather is nice!). One thing I really appreciate: even though Luna’s has a full bar, they’re very respectful and welcoming to non-drinkers and families. I’ve always felt comfortable bringing my kids, and we’ve consistently had great service—whether we’re ordering a full meal or just doing tacos and mocktails. That’s not always the case in places with a bar scene, so it’s worth mentioning. We even had a time-sensitive lunch here during jury duty, and the staff was great at honoring that schedule without making it stressful.

Great food, I travel a lot hard to find great places like this! Great food and service is very rare! This place I will be back when I’m in town.

Kenny G was amazing drinks always full and he is always busy. Myself being a GM of a restaurant was highly satisfied. Your lucky to have such a great asset:) Kenny G we will back to see you thank you for the great service much appreciated 😊

Ate here for a business lunch after it was temporarily closed and reopened. Food was decent - had the ground beef burrito and salad. Server knocked over a drink on my pants, and while apologetic, no compensation or cleaning assistance offered (had to ask for napkins to dry off) - no worries, accidents happen. Prefer the Windsor location, but this is a nice use of the space in downtown Greeley.

I recently visited Luna's Tacos and Tequila in Greeley, and while the atmosphere and service were commendable, I found the food to be lacking in flavor. The restaurant had a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, with a lively ambiance that added to the overall dining experience. The staff provided great service, being attentive and friendly throughout our visit. However, I must admit that the food fell short of my expectations. The dishes I tried had a bland taste and lacked any true flavor. The seasoning seemed to be on the milder side, and the ingredients didn't stand out. It was disappointing considering the potential that a place with this location holds. That being said, the service was a redeeming factor. The staff was prompt and attentive, making sure our needs were met and providing helpful recommendations. Their friendliness and attentiveness contributed positively to the overall dining experience! While I enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciated the service at Luna's Tacos and Tequila, the blandness of the food was a letdown. Hopefully, the kitchen can work on enhancing the flavors of their dishes to match the quality of their service and create a more well-rounded experience for customers.

The food and drinks were amazing! My friend and I got together for lunch to catch up and were recommend to Luna's. We were pleasantly welcomed with a warm inviting atmosphere and a friendly/knowledgeable server Kenny G. He was fantastic and recommended to us his own creation for a beverage. We were even offered a sample to help with our decision. The spiced caramel quencher was delicious! From start to finish a wonderful 1st time experience!

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Went on taco Tuesday, great deal. They make the an effort to accommodate you. Strawberry house margarita was amazing.

Yelp
Rice and beans were cold and had absolutely no flavor, tacos were over priced, would not recommend this place at all

Yelp
I enjoyed my first-ever visit to Luna's on the weekend. This two-floor combination restaurant and bar is a superb option for food in Downtown Greeley. Located on historic 9th Street and about a mile from the UNC campus, there's plenty of street parking with lots a half-block east and west. Great artwork and murals throughout the building lend a fun vibe that adds to the whole visit. There was attention to detail in the art and its placement. The bathroom was immaculate. I LOVED the upstairs option, a combo bar, and a dining area with indoor and outdoor choices. I elected to eat at the bar, where Abigail turned out to be quite a find, a kind and knowledgable bartender with a great feel for the menu and also provided impeccable customer service with a sense of humor and professionalism. Her suggestion of chips and guacamole was spot on. The three salsa options were tasty, and the guacamole paired with homemade chips hit the spot. Abigail recommended a pair of taco choices, so I trusted her judgment, and I'm so glad I did. The chorizo and chicken adobo selections were terrific. I was impressed with the food and Luna's overall atmosphere, especially the kind customer service.

Yelp
Our first time in & the service was great! Prompt seating and service! We got the tres queso which was interesting, unlike a typical queso as it was more like a thick spinach dip. It was delicious! We also ordered a few tacos to go and a Nashville taco for dine in. Nashville taco was great, the other tacos were pretty plain. The Brussel sprout taco was just Brussel sprouts inside a taco and was dry. We would stop in again to try tacos for dine in next time.

Yelp
Great place to eat in the historic Greeley area. We ate here three times in two visits to town and tried a bunch of different tacos - all of them were fresh and flavorful. The three salsas that come with the chips are great and they have a solid tequila menu. We got the tres queso by accident, but would definitely order it if we went again. The restaurant itself is cheery and has good energy. No doubt the best place we ate during our trips there.

Yelp
We happened to see this spot advertised at the Ice Haus and decided to pop in. They very clearly state if you sit on the patio that you order at the bar for food and drinks. Appreciated that heads up and there was no issue with that process. We started off with drinks which were fantastic. We also had their dip and elotes. Very tasty. Would absolutely order again. We decided for a variety of tacos of pork belly, waygu, pulled pork, etc. all were delicious. The child insisted on chicken nachos and we warned her there could be spice. She didn't listen. So we ended up with nachos were also a great dish and we would eat them next time. She ended up with a cheese quesadilla and ate it all. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. We really appreciated her. We can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Amazing tacos! Very cool place in Greeley. If you like gourmet tacos and a great selection of beer and tequila this place is a must!
google avatar

Kristina R.

Yelp
We have been online order the past few weeks. The food has been ready when we pick up. However, their Val Pack coupons DO NOT work. They also don't respond when you send them a message about it. The very first Taco Tuesday was great. That's when I gave my first review and it was in person. In person dining, I feel, has been a better experience than pick up. This week the Barbacoa tastes like plain pot roast. Absolutely no flavor.
google avatar

Jackelyn H.

Yelp
Appetizers and margaritas were amazing! A little hard with kids but mostly because we were sat at a high top.

Yelp
Always a good choice when you step into Luna s. A must stop when we are in Greeley. Tacos for me and quesadillas for her. Hard to refuse the tequila here. But not this time. The service, even when busy is courteous and quick. Came in on a busy Friday nite and we were seated in a few minutes and food a few minutes more. Yeah!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great! We stopped here while in town for a beer festival at WeldWerks and we had a great meal here. Service was good and we were seated quickly. We got several tacos, elote, and queso and they were all delicious and very flavorful. The cocktails were also tasty and it was a nice spot overall. We'd definitely be back!

Rider S.

Yelp
Food is significantly better than before. Unfortunately they served me a watered down and tasteless margarita. Undrinkable. Lastly the service was pretty poor. I had to walk up to the bar to get my soda refilled. Room for improvement but at least the food was better. Really tasty carnitas.

Yelp
This place is a fabulous little joint in downtown Greeley. Go on the weekend when you can try their Bloody Maria, one of the best bloody "Mary's" I've ever had. The food was amazing and great portions for the price. I had the side southwest salad and two Philly tacos and couldn't finish it all. My husband had the pork belly taco and the American tacos and said they were delish. You can taste how fresh the food is. Fun twists on tacos and a few other choices for those that don't want tacos. My only complaint would be a little more detail on their menu, for instance the garnish on the bloody Maria comes with shrimp, no problem for me but someone like my husband who cannot have shrimp that's a problem. Service was great, everyone was very friendly. We will be back for sure.

Yelp
I sat at the bar so this is solely based on the drink! Service was quick of course and the bar tender drew up an excellent Cadillac margarita! Wish I coulda had more time here. Seemed like a very chill place to hang out!

Yelp
Luna's catered our event of 125 people and it was AMAZING! The food was fresh and delicious and the staff - led by Irwin - was fantastic. We had a special dietary accommodation that Irwin attended to immediately and to the satisfaction of that person. Highly recommend the mushrooms for vegetarians - it was a satisfying and tasty choice - and the guac was out of this world. We had enough food that people could go up for leftovers. Attendees of our event enjoyed it so much that many of them went to Luna's new storefront in downtown Greeley the next day for lunch! Thanks Irwin and team for a job super well done!

Holly W.

Yelp
Sometimes the Greeley smell is not so good but when you walk into the restaurant, you smell the delicious food.

Yelp
Chocolate Flan.. to die for! Tacos were delicious and just the right portions. Our server was fantastic!
google avatar

Jean-Jacques R.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. It was recommended to me by more than one person but I found it to be decidedly mediocre. The tacos are fine. Salsa is fine. Nothing that super stands out. Service is fast which is good but nothing over the top fantastic.
google avatar

Caroline Y.

Yelp
This is a really cute spot to grab tacos and drinks! We visited on a Sunday night and it was busy. They have outdoor seating and I can only imagine how nice the outdoor seating is in the warmer months. The atmosphere is trendy and they play upbeat pop music. They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. There's a full bar as well with a variety of cocktails. I was surprised to see a variety of things to eat on the menu other than tacos. They also have salads, quesadillas, tortas, peel and eat shrimp, and so much more!
google avatar

Yelp
There were a positives & negatives about this place. Over all it was just ok... I went here a while ago to visit one of my friends working & she was running around doing all the serving & I was under the impression she was my server but I was kinda confused when I was actually tipping a different server instead.. which is whatever but the food was good.. just not memorable

Josie G.

Yelp
Must try the elote! So crispy and flavorful. Brussel sprouts and Mac n cheese were also great. Good variety of tacos. Fast service. Clean inside.

Mark V.

Yelp
Drove over from Loveland just to try this place. First off it is on the same block as the Rio Grande - however the food is much better here! Ihad the crispy Brussels con chorizo which were amazing! Also tried the Honey Adobo Shrimp Taco and the Pork belly taco. The Honey Adobo Shrimp was the bomb- amazing flavors including pineapple salsa. The pork belly taco was good but not like the shrimp. They have a great Tequila selection too and my Mango Margarita was sooo tasty! The ambiance is cozy and cool and the Bartenders Jacob and Brissa were awesome and helpful! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

Yelp
Used to be nice, last visit waitress was too busy, someone else took order, then showed up 1 one meal, we ordered two, oh I'm sorry would you like me to put another one in? Why would I watch my wife eat then wait another 1/2 hr so she can wat h me eat. They are either stupid or don't care go to the Rio

Yelp
First time trying Lunas Tacos. Was a busy night but the hostess was doing great and we had a 5 min. wait. It's a fun, noisy( in a fun way) casual, friendly place. Perfect for a night with your love as well as a group of friends. We tried the combination of 3 different street tacos. Chicken, beef, pork. They were all great , although I usually gravitate toward chicken. They have a good menu with several dishes to chose from. The chips and salsa were tasty and if course we had a beer and and very yummy margarita. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Fun and friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Liz G.

Yelp
Very friendly atmosphere, great wait staff, and delicious drinks and dips! This was perfect place just to hang out and socialize. Food looked good but we did not go there for anything but appetizers.
google avatar

Yelp
Just what downtown Greeley needed! This is a fun and funky spot with amazing food and drinks. Our most recent visit was after seeing a movie at the Kress Cinema and craving a snack afterwards. It rounded out the perfect date night! The tacos are all delicious, the queso is amazing and the shrimp app was very good, too. Pro tip: try the adobo hot sauce on the queso to bring it to another level! The sauce is smoky, sweet and has a hint of cinnamon - we ordered 2 bottles to take home. I also love that you can get a mixed drink, a shot or a flight of tequila or mezcal. We've always sat at the bar and the bartenders are super nice and helpful, particularly if you need recommendations.
google avatar

Connor P.

Yelp
Great place to try some new tequila and mezcals! Highly recommend the carne asada fries and Nashville hot chicken taco! Great local business
google avatar

Yelp
Good for getting drunk but the food is AWFUL. Really fun community and good staff, just lacking in the taste department

robert s.

Yelp
Went to Luna's based on a rec from a friend. The place has a cool vibe. We ordered some nachos, tacos and margs. The nachos were excellent. Plenty of good toppings and a great portion. Sadly the tacos fell short . Why did they fail for me? For the price, I was expecting a decent size taco. However the portion was rather skimpy. This left me feeling dissatisfied. Either lower the price or add more toppings. I found myself asking "where's the beef?". Additionally the margs fell short as well. Mostly ice. Would I go back? For the nachos? Yes. I would pass on the margs and have beer instead.

Yelp
Truly a gem in downtown Greeley! Great service & amazing food! Highly recommend the Cowboy Hot sauce it is amazing! Everything was excellent

Yelp
Well, the music is intergalactic planetary style, and it's busy in here. We had to wait, but only 5 or so minutes. That was no problem. I like 80's and 90's music...some of it... I just ordered a quesadilla w chicken, and we got 2 Nashville chicken tacos and 2 pork belly tacos. A full bar heavy with tequila options is on the right when you walk in, and the taco magic bar is in the back. It has an industrial vibe in decor with exposed brick and vening, but it's a cozy pace with a cool atmosphere. You can eat at the bar, a table floating in the center, or a booth style table on the side. Don't forget to bring your wallet because these street tacos are $4.50+ each taco! You get one piece of meat (literally), the tiniest tortilla ever, and some swanky toppings. They are tasty, but sometimes the pork belly is mostly fat (like mine was tonight), and if you aren't into a bite of fat without meat, perhaps try a different taco. I was actually kinda grossed out by that (3 of 4 bites were solid fat) and I ended up fishing a partly chewed lump of fat out of my mouth three times before dissecting the remnants of the taco and pulling the fat out before the last bite. I was disappointed with that because the last time we came in here it was great.... I recommend the quesadilla. That was pretty good. Inconsistent? Perhaps. I'll never know because the chances of us ever going back are about zero as we have no reason to come through Greeley anymore. Anyway, you can decide for yourselves. It's worth a try if you are in the hood.
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
Great food and the environment is awesome. Reminds me of several taco restaurants in LA. Gac was fresh and sauce was fantastic. Highly recommend Lunas and lots of parking in the back.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Very nice place to go in Greeley! Wonderful wait staff! Will be back to try the Nashville Hot Chicken tacos. Our party of four had the chips and guacamole and the corn fritter appetizer. We then split the 10 taco platter and this was a nice amount of food for four people. I enjoyed the atmosphere in an old building with lots of charm. A real happy place!
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Service was great but overall our impression was the food was subpar and overpriced. The fries shrimp with a sweet glaze were great, the hot fried chicken tacos were good, and the Sonoran Hot dog was good. But their menu needs prices. With a sushi checkbox style ordering menu I assumed marking 1 Elotes would equal a piece of corn for $2-3, instead I received 3 mushy elotes for $7 lol. $7 for super dry/overcooked black beans and a sprinkle of cheese. No discernable mole flavor in the pork mole tacos. Pretty disappointed. $82 with tip and we had to go get tacos somewhere after. Take my advice and just go to La Fiesta Express if you want good tacos, but if you're into Sonoran Hot Dogs come grab one.
google avatar

Peter C.

Yelp
Tacos were fancy but good. A little expensive but if you get four fancy ones a couple beers it's a reasonable dinner. The location is convenient seemed popular with the local hipsters (of which I am not, local or a hipster). Service was friendly and fast.
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
Luna's is awesome. Cool vibe great food and the staff is always smiling and helpful. Must haves: honey adobo shrimp tacos, elite fritters and Brussel sprout tacos.

Yelp
Ehhh, definitely missing the mark with this place. Me and a friend went during lunch and the place was busy but we were seated right away. Ordered 3 tacos each and all of them were underwhelming in taste. Had the pork belly taco and the pork belly was cooked very nice, the asada taco had almost no meat and the Nashville hot chicken did not taste like Nashville hot at all. I had to pour the hot sauce to all 3 tacos just to bring out any flavor. Also ordered the Nashville hot chicharones and they were just chicken nuggets with a dry spice. The food was edible but not enjoyable. They need more flavor in all their food but the most disappointing was the Nashville hot items. Owners need to go experience the food they are serving. Just bland, bland, bland and super small portions. Shrink flation is alive and kicking at this joint! $46 for 6 tiny, tiny tacos, chicken nuggets and 1 iced tea! Definitely not worth a trip back
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
Great service and attention to requests. Our daughter has celiacs (gluten allergy) and we have ate here several times without issue. The tacos are good and the drinks are solid. I recommend sitting in the upstairs patio around sunset for a nice romantic dinner out.

Yelp
Tacos = Heaven Had the chance to visit this rad little taco joint in downtown Greeley. It was amazing! Great location right in a little slice of downtown right in the mix of bars, food scene and small shops. New management brings a breathe of fresh air to this locally owned shop. This place offerers 3 different areas to sit (inside, out in front and then a great deck on the second floor) I tried all the street tacos and even added in a special taco that was just on menu for a few more days. It was a Korean short rib tacos was probably one of my top 5 tacos I have ever had. The beef was so juicy, full of flavor and the pineapples set it off. A must try next time you are in Greeley. Say hi to Kendra the manager when you go in.

Intellectual Reviews I.

Yelp
I came to downtown Greeley to try some restaurants out. I saw that Luna's has some gluten-free options for me, so I decided to grab a drink and a bite to eat there. I sat at the bar because most of the tables were taken up by other people, since it was a Saturday night. One of the bartenders was really sweet to me and made me one of their house margaritas with silver tequila with a spicy salt rim on the glass, which I enjoyed. I ordered 3 tacos; the beef barbacoa, chicken adobo, and a brussel sprout taco. I enjoyed all 3 very much. While I waited for them to come out I had some chips and salsa, which was good too. I do suggest that you come here because I overall had a good time. Extra: If I could give a few pointers to make things better here, even though I give this place a 5-star review, I'd say that the ordering slips are not necessary. Instead of the slips it would be great to have some laminated menus that can be wiped off. During my time here I dealt with 3 different staff for my drinks and food, when it would be nice to have a waitress who can personally stop by my table and deal with me for all my needs. Also, the restaurant website is a bit confusing with all the options. There is no regular "menu" option to click on, just a "take-out" menu which also doesn't show the brussel sprout taco. I like seeing the price and gluten/dairy-free options. I know there is a bunch of gluten/dairy-free options here, which I enjoyed. Other than that, again, I approve of this place and will be coming back for some tacos and tequila soon. I enjoy a nice margarita with some gluten/dairy-free options to snack on and I think that you (the reader and potential customer) should come and give it a whirl too.

Yelp
What an AMAZING experience. Kenny G was our server. He made us feel like family. The food was exceptional. Kenny was so accommodating and had excellent menu suggestions. What a fun and delicious experience. I would highly recommend the mahi taco and black bean hummus. We live in Brighton but we will be back. This is well worth the drive!

Yelp
Poor quality meat tasted odd. Probably will give it another shot but after spending $75 and not happy.

Yelp
Brought my parents there. They're visiting CO. I'm like hey I heard this place is pretty good plus we wanted to sit on the patio while we ate. We had the worst waiter. The bartender did some of his work. My bestfriend was there with her baby. She was tending to the baby and had the payment board in her other hand. This ass grabbed it of her hand harshly. Non of us tipped him. They sat us under one umbrella table when we needed 2. When we asked for the 2nd one he said "no". We should of just walked out but the kids were hungry. Dude get a new job if you dont like yours. We visited May 17, 23 around 1- 1:30 we sat on the patio. The gentleman was very rude.

Yelp
This is my favorite Mexican food place in the area. It's a little less authentic, but a lot more flavorful. And they have Mexican Pepsi in the glass bottle. Staff is pretty good, and if you dine in, there's some nice atmosphere there. It's the best Mexican food I've gotten from a restaurant that isn't a taqueria in a very long time. Conversely, $3-4 for a street taco is pretty steep.

Yelp
Dominique was our hostess and she was awesome!! We ordered a bunch of different tacos and a nacho. Everything was very good with a flavor that we were persnickety of but could find no flaws! Service again was awesome and prices very good! We also had the watermelon margaritas and holy smokes........very good! Our overall experience will have us coming back!!! Luna's is on point!!

Yelp
Wow, I'm from Vegas and I have to come back! Great people and Megan took care of bartenders on point thanks!

Yelp
Tasty tacos at a great price! I ordered the carne asada, chicken adobo, and mushroom taco. Each one was delicious and served on a corn tortilla - making it gluten free friendly. Service was friendly. Takeout was super fast.

Yelp
Awesome service! Lucas was great! Loved the atmosphere. Highly recommended, great food!
