On the Creamery’s roof in Tobin Hill, Lunatique brings nearly 360‑degree views, DJs, and cocktail “trees.” Reported by San Antonio Current and CultureMap, it’s a fashionable local hang close to Pearl.

To call this place a rooftop bar is wild—it’s literally on the second floor. After climbing a single flight of stairs, we had to weave through a large party just to reach the bar. We sat down and waited a few moments. That’s when I noticed the drinks were served in plastic cups and barely filled halfway. Hmm. Then the bartender straight-up ignored us and chose to serve a group of women who had just walked up. Cool. So we decided to head downstairs and make our exit—only to be followed by a man informing us there was a dress code and that my husband's shorts weren’t allowed. That’s fine, buddy—I wear business casual all day at work, and this is Texas. We promptly found the door.

We went up to check out Lunatique while waiting for ever to arrive for a birthday party in Easy Baby and I’m so glad we were able to check it out! The ambiance was amazing and the bartenders, Ryan and Dulce, were so friendly and gave great drink recommendations. Can’t wait for the weather to cool down a bit so we can spend more time up there!

Want to be treated like garbage? Like rude bartenders? Want the most disgusting yet overpriced drink you’ve ever had? This is the place for you!

Very cute spot (no views really) but cute vibe and good cocktails.

It's a new location so they are probably still working on some aspects that they havent put into motion yet so lets give them some grace. Really my review is a 4.5 with the potential for growth. If you're already in the area or hanging out at Amelia Social Lounge, Lunatique is definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Nice, small patio at The Creamery above Amelia Social Lounge. The drinks are reasonably priced in my opinion ($12-$15) and the bartenders are usually pretty quick with taking orders and making drinks. For being a "rooftop" near the Pearl, I would have assumed the view would be better but you're mainly staring at the highway and the golf course across 281. It's a nice place to grab a drink but don't expect a crazy awesome view!

Yelp
While it is a nice spot I believe there's potential to improve. The menu is limited however, you can bring your drinks from Amelia. The space is small and the little bridge became overcrowded fast. There's a lot of negative space. While it may boast 360° views it's more like 180° since the rooftop is more of a breezeway. Also, when I did arrive when it opened however there was a private party happening that prompted me to kill some time at Amelia and yeah if you plan to go dress accordingly. While the dress code is a little toned down up stairs that isn't the case at Amelia. The bouncer in the henchmen suit did make a fuss over my shorts. After explaining that we were only killing time he chilled out. Ironically they had a photographer in a spurs jersey and basketball shorts roaming around so kinda defeats the argument. Lunatique is a nice place but leaves a little more to be desired.

Yelp
Friday night 10:00 in the fall- Good vibe Mix of people all races represented ages 25-45. Music playlist was recognizable R&B/Hip Hop ranging from Beyoncé to Drake. Casual dress from short cocktail dresses to nice skinny jeans. Good rooftop view- for San Antonio. Lounge downstairs was cool also. Will go back to the Creamery District (warning- parking is limited)

Yelp
Really cool rooftop bar. My only complaint is about one of your bartenders. During my visit Dez (I think?) was clearly and visibly drunk. I was relieved when it seemed she was sent home. I started getting my drinks from Dulce, who was great, very professional & completely made up for the interaction I had prior. Later that night, I went to Easy Baby (the speak easy club beneath Lunatique) and saw the same bartender was drinking more & completely belligerent. This behavior is not acceptable & quite embarrassing for someone representing your bar. Other than that, it was a pretty neat location!

Yelp
They close way earlier than any bars nearby and the bartending staff is very disrespectful. They will overlook you in a heartbeat and do not entertain any communication at all. Easy baby is open til 2am but can be rented out, so you're forced to leave to another bar if you're out.
