"A new superhero-themed sub shop in Lincoln Park is capitalizing on Chicago’s love of sandwiches, for a cause. With every sub order (featuring cute options like Captain Caprese, Bacon Boy, and The Gobbler), Lunch Heroes also serves lunch to kids in need." - john ringor, veda kilaru, nick allen

Had the new breakfast sandwich, everything was perfect, bread was incredible, perfect amount of cream cheese and hot honey. Service was amazing, extremely nice people! Absolutely will be coming back for more!

Delicioso! -Dora. Dora said it best! Great subs, great service, the lady in the front was very friendly! I think her name is Claire. Very energetic, but exactly what’s expected when you do what love! I’m sure whomever trained her must be very proud.

Had the Mamma Mia sandwich, it was really good. Classic Italian Sub style sandwich, but not as long. Bread is a little more dry, but it works well with the contents. Nice employees who are friendly and make eye contact.

Google
Genuinely my favorite sandwich shop EVER. I come here at-least twice a week since they’ve opened. Not only is the food delicious, but it is truly the kindest staff/owners ever. They are so generous, helpful, and treat you like family! The bread is insane - and you cannot go wrong with any sub. I will never stop recommending this place to everyone I know.

Google
Great new sandwich spot in Lincoln Park! The bread is awesome and the sandwich is a great deal. The owners are also very friendly and made sure we had a great experience too. A portion of the proceeds also go to supporting a great cause! I would highly recommend Lunch Heroes to anyone looking for a good sandwich in Chicago

Google
Best sandwich shop in Lincoln Park! I love this new sandwich shop! The subs are addicting, I love the crunchy bread and they really load up! Staff is wonderful and I feel good knowing that the sandwiches benefit my local community with a donation. Go hear instead of Potbelly!

Google
Lunch Heroes in Lincoln Park is an absolute gem! I stopped by today and had the Gobbler with pesto and bacon—it was incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the sandwich was packed with quality ingredients. The shop has a welcoming vibe, and both Claire and Sam, the owners, are so friendly and personable. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the food they serve. If you’re in the area and looking for a fantastic sandwich, this is the spot to check out. Highly recommend!

Google
Very impressed with Lunch Heroes. I stopped by for lunch one day and received an enthusiastic greeting from one of the owners, who was happy to help me decide what to order. I got The Gobbler with bacon, pesto, pickles, and tomato. The sandwich was very tasty, with fresh ingredients and nice, crusty bread. I appreciated that the eating area was spotlessly clean and there was good music playing over the speakers. I will certainly be eating here again.

Yelp
Quality new sandwich shop in the neighborhood. The portions are large. The food is good. It is priced fairly. Some sales go to charity. I suspect people will ultimately like or dislike this place based on the bread. It's different than what you typically get on a sandwich. I liked it but didn't love it. Overall, a good addition to the hood and I will return.

Yelp
My second time at Lunch Heroes, and this time I tried the Butt Kickin' Chicken Sandwich. They have an interesting blend of spices that I couldn't put my finger on, but it was good, and they give you a good portion to boot. They have a good selection of sandwiches, including a "Veggie Sandwich." I'm going to try the "Beefy Beast" next time. All the workers are very knowledgeable about the menu items; they'll get you in and out in no time. If you're near the Fullerton "L" stop, try them; you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We have been following Lunch Heroes on social media for quite some time and have been looking forward to their opening in the LP neighborhood! We tried the Mama Mia and The Gobbler and both were delicious! There is a generous amount of meat, cheese, and veggies. The bread is really unique and delicious, it is a little more baguett-ey than a sub bread that we have had previously. We also tried the chocolate chip cookie which was FULL of chocolate and super yummy - a big hit with the kiddos. We love the mission of them donating a hero to a kid in need of lunch. Service was great and ordering at the counter was easy and quick. Ambience wise, my kiddos love the mural of the "heroes". We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I was VERY excited to try this sandwich shop. The owners are great people who have a mission to sell great hero's but also give back and feed children in need. I walked over with my dog today and I got the Mamma Mia. I ordered the big on and it will easily feed me for two meals. Lucky to have this place in the neighborhood now.

Yelp
Ordered online. Service was quick and staff was friendly when I picked up my lunch. Highly recommend the Butt-Kickin' Chicken spicy chicken salad. I added banana peppers. So tasty! The Buffalo Ranch Uglies chips were the perfect sidekick. That bread is scrumptious. Heartier than Subway or Jimmy John's but not heavy. Yum.

Yelp
Ahh! This used to be Kaathis, remember that? I had the Best Spuds and The Beefy Beef. They were very good. The staff and service is superb.

Yelp
Grab a sandwich take it with you. I got three different sandwiches and I loved each one. Great flavor and they make their own bread. The service was quick and super friendly. Clare and Melissa kept us entertain why our sandwiches were being made. I'll be back for sure. Support small business come see this awesome sandwich shop in Lincoln Park.

Yelp
Bread was incredibld, sandwich was incredible. Cant recommend this place enough and love the charitable contribution aspect of this business model as well!

Yelp
We eat here at least once a week. Great sandwiches, friendliest people. Our favorites are the turkey and the tuna.

Yelp
Currently in my car eating a 12 inch "The Hammer" and it's unbelievable. I never write reviews! At first the bread looked like the sandwich was going to fall apart but it stayed together! when I tried it with the Italian dressing it made the perfect combination. I'm not a bread or Italian dressing kind of guy but both of those items are very tasty at this establishment. I really enjoyed my sandwich and will come back. The only criticism I have is the bread could use a touch of sugar. I also think if they had a side window they could stay open late and get the drunk crowd.

Jake T.

Yelp
One of the best subs I have ever had! So full with meat and ingredients! The space is located perfectly in Lincoln Park and they provided excellent service to accommodate my needs! I will was full on just a 6inch!

MK K.

Yelp
The bread here is what makes the sub. It is very very very good.. outstanding. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly!

Yelp
I went to LH yesterday for dinner - the sandwich was great and the service could not have been more friendly. Highly recommended.
