The Lunchpad Review - Hayes Valley - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"A more or less permanent pop-up inside the Noir Lounge. Perplexing, yet delicious. Breakfast all day and massive sandwiches that are perfect for your scheduled afternoon food coma. The Turkey Drizzle is our current favorite." - Taylor Abrams

Bar at night turned sandwich shop by day. The highlight here is the amazing food. The menu features a great mix of sandwiches and salads. In the morning you can also get breakfast sandwiches. I got a sandwich and side salad. The sandwich had the right amount of high quality ingredients, and a good mix of textures. The salad had a homemade dressing and a good mix of artisan ingredients. You can tell there is a chef driving innovation and quality at Lunchpad. The bar/cafe itself has seating for about 30. Order at the counter then wait for your name to be called. The food came out really quick. They have a full bar too. The only downside (and no fault to the restaurant) is parking is terrible! This neighborhood is known for having lots of restaurants and bars. But the only parking is on the street which is almost always taken by employees or residents. There are no parking lots.

Had the tuna salad sandwich. The sandwich came with pickled green beans. Overall, pretty good. I would have preferred more tuna salad because I ran out of tuna and was left with only 🍞. Chips are homemade and tasty. Next time, I will try a different sandwich.

Great food! I went here for the first time today looking for a quick bite, ordered the spicy chicken breakfast sandwich (special) and Parmesan chips to go. Both very good and would recommend eating from here again!

I'm a regular and generally picky about my food. Having had many of the sandwiches never disappointed. There is an art to making a good sandwich and Lunchpad is artistic and the combos are wonderful. Lover the bread, just the right texture that holds up well to he ingredients. The meats, cheeses and veggies are high quality. The presentation looks tasty and delivers. The service is friendly and efficient.Did I mention the candied bacon?

Absolutely wonderful and balanced sandwich. Had the Italian stallion which was a daily special. The turkey, bacon, pesto, cheddar... Oh! It was insane. The little red onion on top and some crisp veggies made this an all around great experience of a sandwich. The place is swanky and great to hang out as well. It's in the noir lounge so the seats are comfy and the atmosphere is cool and relaxed. This instantly got into my list of "places to bring people I really like and convince them SF is worth the price of rent"

WOW! So many great things to choose from at this place. I ended up ordering A-Bomb sandwich as a salad. The habanero candied bacon is unreal and one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. The salad was huge and full of yummy meats, cheeses and vegetables. I would highly recommend this place and will be back the next time I'm in San Francisco!

If you like sandwiches, then this place is for you. The best sandwich I think is their chicken lil, which is a big hearty chicken salad sandwich. It's not too drippy with mayo. On Wednesdays, they have the chicken run, which is a fried chicken sandwich. I'm not a huge fan when other chicken sandwiches come to mind. Both come with pickles. But for both chicken sandwiches, they use a nice soft bun. The grilled cheese is decadent and you'll be surprised by how big the berry delicious salad is. If you eat at the restaurant/bar, then you get a free cookie too. Ive also tried the hansel, which is a savory breakfast bread pudding. Definitely get an egg on top. It's pretty much like biscuits and gravy. At night, this place is a bar. Ample of seating. Great for groups.
