Supper Review - East Village - New York - The Infatuation

"Frank Prisinazo (Frank, Lil' Frankies) pretty much has a monopoly over the Italian game in the East Village. Supper, his slightly more upscale Italian institution, has been mobbed since the day it opened. They don't take reservations, but they do have a nice wine bar next door to hang at while you wait. For a cash only operation (both the restaurant and wine bar), the wine list is steep. It's surprising that there aren't more two-digit options. The food menu, however, is packed with well executed, moderately priced Italian favorites in addition to the always changing specials (the reason we keep coming back). The seats outside on the sidewalk are nice, but we prefer this dimly lit spaghetti haunt on a freezing cold night the when oven in the middle of the room is keeping everyone warm. Food Rundown Burrata Mozzarella Off the specials menu, an uncut ball of fresh mozzarella served on top of sliced tomatoes. The cheese is firm on the outside, rich, and creamy on the inside. As fresh as it gets. Veal Scallopine alla Parmigiana with Spaghetti The tagliatelle will always be there, next time get a little more adventurous. I mean, when was the last time you ate veal scallopine anyway? Probably never. You won't be disappointed. Tagliatelle al Ragu bolognese Eh. I'd take Max's bolognese over this one any day of the week. The pasta is good but there are a couple strong spices in the sauce that dominate the flavors and not in a good way. Spinach Gnocchi All Aglio D'Orato Gotta love big fat pieces of fresh green gnocchi in tomato sauce. This gnocchi is all that and more. We could have easily taken down a whole other serving. Tagliatelle w/ Prosciutto di Parma If there's a prosciutto pasta dish on the menu, there's a very high probability that we'll be ordering it. The prosciutto is chopped up into little pieces and served in a marinara sauce with cherry tomatoes. Highly recommend checking this out if it's available. 1/2 Roasted Chicken with Wild Fennel Don't be ashamed to order chicken here. This half chicken served over rosemary and roasted garlic mashed potatoes hits the spot." - Andrew Steinthal

On the Grid : Lunch. | Supper!

"If you smell BBQ, it’s coming straight from the smokers of Lunch. | Supper!, one of the neighborhood’s favorite places to fill up. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the food is as good as the ambience is laid-back. And with sandwiches galore, it’s a prime spot for the lunch crowd. Try the Southern Pride BLT--it’s got a fried green tomato and pimento cheese--or the River City Smokehouse, full of that slow-roasted, hand-pulled pork BBQ. If you’re in the mood for stick-to-your-ribs entrees with a Southern flair, you can’t go wrong with the Monument Shrimp and Grits (blackened shrimp topped with bacon and served over cheesy grits) or the Summit Avenue XL Crab Cakes. Bonus? The restaurant has a good-sized patio for you to enjoy those gorgeous Richmond days." - The Frontier Project

I ordered the farm table sampler. The pimento cheese was nice and creamy. All the meats were tasty, especially the candied bacon. I wasn’t sure what the bread like things on the side were, but they paired well with the jelly. Michael hot buffalo wings that were pretty good as well. Service was fine, atmosphere was a little crowded but okay!

If you looking for a good BBQ in Richmond VA I highly recommend Lunch Supper. My wife and I found this spot a while back before their expansion. Every time we drive through Richmond and find ourselves getting hungry we always make it a point to stop by.

Google
Excellent restaurant just off Broad St in Richmond! Went here on a work trip and was not disappointed with any of the food! The fried green tomatoes (topped with bacon and pimento cheese) were a fantastic starter & the chicken and waffles were a great tasting entree!

Matt Jones

Google
The fried oysters were high quality, and I did enjoy them, but they were so salty. Way too much seasoning. The Lyon’s Den sandwich, which is roast beef, provolone, and horseradish aioli with au jus was relatively flavorless. The au jus was extremely weak. Maybe it’s a regional thing. I’m from New England and the au jus always has a ton of flavor. This wasn’t much more than brown water. Service was great and the atmosphere was as well. I really wish the food was better, but they just need to make a few tweaks. It’s definitely high quality ingredients.

Google
I tried the BBQ Sundae for dinner at Lunch Supper! and it was fantastic. The smoked chopped brisket had a nice crispy exterior and was so tender and flavorful inside. The mac n' cheese and coleslaw were really tasty too. Even though there was a water outage in Richmond, the server was super friendly and made sure we had bottled water. Great food and awesome service! Definitely worth a visit.

Google
Outstanding! The dishes vary from simple staples to clever & unique. Many choices of V & GF dishes. Outstanding staff and friendly environment. The "Farmers Market" (with Salmon added for a protein) dish was fantastic! I highly recommend it.

Google
Staff was super friendly and attentive, waters were constantly filled and service was incredibly fast. I had the pulled pork breakfast tacos and my friend had the duck and egg special. Both were very flavorful with large portions. It was not gourmet, but it was very good home style cooking.

Google
I ordered a chicken burger with a spicy jam. This was my first time trying a chicken burger. The texture is lighter than hamburger. The meat was very flavorful. The bacon was crispy just like I like. I tried the oysters too; they were fried to perfection. We got there early prior to them opening. There was a small line to get in but we were seating quickly. Service was great.

Yelp
We were here for dinner on a Saturday night. The place were pretty busy. We were told the waiting time is 20 minutes but we were seated only after waiting for 5 minutes. Our waitress were very friendly and attentive. We were definitely satisfied with the service here. We ordered the spare ribs with mac & cheese for appetizer. As for our main entree, we ordered the chicken & waffles and the boneless fried chicken. Everything were so delicious especially the chicken & waffles. The chicken is not spicy but if you love spicy food, you can tell them to make it hot. The spicy level were just perfect for us. This place is definitely a must try. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I went to Lunch. Supper! while in Richmond and I would definitely go there again. I ordered the cast iron salmon and the fried green tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes were topped with pimento cheese and bacon. The breading was crispy, and the cheese balanced the tomato and the bacon. I think they could have cut down on the amount of onions in the green beans for the salmon dish, but overall it was very flavorful and the salmon was flakey. I ordered my food to-go since I was staying in the area and it held up pretty well. My waitress was super nice and was very helpful in choosing what to get. If I'm in the area again, brunch may be the next thing I try.

Yelp
I went to Lunch. Supper! for dinner, and wow, what an experience! The menu had so many amazing options that it was almost impossible to decide--everything looked so good. I ended up going with the chicken sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the chicken was cooked just right--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My boyfriend ordered one of the entrees that came with a crazy pile of deliciousness (we're talking layers of goodness), and he couldn't stop raving about it. We also shared a side of mac and cheese, and it was the ultimate comfort food--creamy, cheesy, and everything you'd want in a mac and cheese. The portions were generous, the vibe was great, and the food was fantastic. Definitely recommend checking this place out! I'll be back to try more from the menu next time.

Yelp
We came in on a Saturday and sat at the bar. We enjoyed some hot coffee and breakfast biscuits. I had a fried chicken biscuit with greens and homestyle potatoes. It was a large serving and was very rich and flavorful. The service was good! We enjoyed sitting at the bar. It helped us avoid the brunch wait time. I hope to come back again some day!

Yelp
Lunch. Supper! was pretty busy on a Sunday morning as to be expected! We visited Supper! which had a 30 minute wait, but were able to grab seats at the bar. The bartender was very kind and provided opinions and suggestions on various dishes to help us decide what to order. We ordered the espresso martini for drinks, a waffle with country hash and eggs, the brisket bowl, an omelette, and the hummus board. The food was pretty standard breakfast fare, but it was good! The restaurant was super cute with various fun flights hanging from the ceiling and had a patio that was still packed even on a chilly day. Super fun restaurant!

Yelp
There's something for everyone at Lunch.Supper!, and the outdoor seating makes it a great place to meet up with friends. There were seven in our party, and we were comfortable and well cared-for. Splitting the bill was a breeze. The food is always excellent. Love that there are brunch foods served all day. The pimento cheese is a dream. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options. Food is homey and delicious. Comfort food in a cozy setting. Service is attentive. Everyone is friendly. Seating is comfortable. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor dining area. It's just a lovely experience dining at Lunch.Supper!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent (multiple) seating area. Really cool outside area also. Service was adequate. She may have been a little overwhelmed. We had to have her flagged down once. There are a lot of food options. They are very consistent from my experience. I had the wings today and a cup of chili. Both were decent. My only critiques are I got 12 wings and I got one drum and 11 flats. I'd prefer it the other way around. lol Drums are the best. No big deal. The chili was just average for me. The temperature could have been warmer. We'll be back. Check them out if somehow you haven't.

Yelp
The garden here feels like you've stepped out of the city and into a little nature sanctuary. I love the outdoor dining option and how vibrant they made the space! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and made good suggestions on food and drinks. You have to get the fries green tomatoes with pimento if they are available! Big portions and our sandwiches were all delicious. Highly recommend bringing friends or family here if they are visiting (:
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Honestly I came here for a work lunch and didn't have time to snap a pic but I had to take the time to write a review because everything here is so delicious! The vibe is fun and the service great. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Lori B.

Yelp
I did not like the seating choices, but the food is spectacular. We had salads (Greek and Caesar) ,wings, smash burger with fries, and chicken and Mac n cheese...oh and deviled eggs. Not one thing was lacking in flavor or presentation. I would recommend and definitely comeback. One suggestion...cook the wings a bit longer so the meat will come away from the bone.

Yelp
Hands down one of my favorite spots in Richmond!! Incredible food and portion sizes, great staff. I highly recommend this spot
google avatar

Yelp
We were browsing around the city and stopped here for lunch. The food was delicious, we liked everything we ate. Also, appreciate a very nice young waiter for his polite and friendly hospitality. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the place was clean and welcoming. Overall- we definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Food: 10/10 Service: 20/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Must try! Food is amazing and most things made from scratch--including their sausage!! Adding this one to the rotation when we come to Richmond for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here based on a friends recommendation and he was spot on. Staff were friendly and attentive! The atmosphere is really cool with hanging sound dampeners with plants as well. The Bar is huge with a great selection. We ordered the pork rind nachos.. oh Yum. They came out crackling and popping with pulled pork and spicy jalapeños and cheese sauce. My Dinner was their Crab cakes - deliciousness light and fluffy and oh the Brussel sprouts with the pork belly were Great! The wife had a short rib appetizer for her dinner and it was fall apart yummy. Her Mac and cheese was great too - it was the heaviest Mac n cheese I have ever had. The our son got the Shrimp and Grits. He said they were great and the grits were really cheesy too. Thank you for a great dining experience! We shall return when we are down this way again.

Yelp
This is the spot I always bring my friends to when visiting Richmond, VA! There's so much good food here, it's always hard to choose what dish to go with. There is usually a little bit of a wait depending on when you come because the restaurant stays busy! The Chicken & Waffles are delectable!
google avatar

Janet T.

Yelp
We started with the oysters and spinach and artichoke appetizers. The oysters were a tad salty. The pickles and pickled red onions were a delicious part of the dip platter. Our entrees came out super quick. The collard greens were vinegary. The meatloaf was okay. I expected it to have more flavor. Others in my party seemed to enjoy their entrees. We had the Krispy Kreme donuts bread pudding. Don't waste your time or calories on this. It was tasteless. It was like donuts soaked in evaporated milk. Nice ambiance. The 80's music was fire! Great vibes just not feeling the food.

Yelp
Loved Rachel our waitress Love our yummy food The ambiance is funnand creative I want to go back to richmond snd est there again

Yelp
Thursday 3/21/2024 This spot had been on my list for nearly a year and I was really looking forward to it BUT did it deliver? Came for a sitdown visit during the late afternoon and got the chicken & waffles $17 and the Krispy Kreme bread pudding $8. Service was solid but let's focus on the food. - Chicken & waffles * the waffle was decent: nice & soft * the fried chicken was pretty good (I'm pretty sure it was chicken breast rather than chicken thighs which is always good to know). - Krispy Kreme bread pudding * it was decent but nothing impressive (Side note: my mom had the burger and was very disappointed by it. She said the burger was bland and tasted like it had 0 seasoning.) All in all, this spot was okay but definitely didn't live up to the expectations I previously had.
google avatar

Paula R.

Yelp
Really cute place but there is no waiting area except outside. And it was cold! Thank goodness for the one fire pit that was going. Staff was very friendly and quick. The crab dip appetizer was really good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Huge portions so go hungry!
google avatar

Stephanie N.

Yelp
The service and food were top notch! We went late hoping to avoid noise, but it was loud for us (people with hearing aids have difficulty with background noise). I still would go again because of the food... those short ribs *chef's kiss* Oh and the GFO were great!
google avatar

Shannon T.

Yelp
We came here on a rainy day, unfortunately we didn't have any reservations so we had to wait outside for about 30 mins. Luckily they had a covered area with heaters! I was visiting the RVA area from California and wanted to try some good southern eats...I've never heard of pimento cheese before so I ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Oh my gosh it was soooo delicious! It contrasted and paired well with the fried green tomatoes. My boyfriend and I both ordered chicken and waffles, and I ordered mine with cheese grits. I also ordered my chicken spicy and it was super yummy! It had the perfect amount of kick to it and the cheese grits helped cool off my palate. Also the portions were humongous and we had to take the rest to go. We were seated on the outside covered patio and it was kept nice and toasty. I saw lots of families eating here and lots of people lined up to be seated, which is always a good sign.
google avatar

Meghan K.

Yelp
I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for years and it did not disappoint! The weather was perfect the day we went so we chose to sit outside on the patio instead of inside. The patio was decorated very nicely and it wasn't too loud even though the restaurant is right by the road. I got the chicken and waffles and my friend got the last stand. Both dishes were AMAZING! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the grits that came with the dish were made just right as well. My friend really enjoyed his meal too! Absolutely no complaints from either of us. I'd gladly make the hour drive from my house to come here often!
google avatar

Lila S.

Yelp
Update: I had a conversation with their manager Amy (who was great and receptive). She let me know they were, in fact, going through some growing pains, but invited me back to give them another chance. It's been 6 months, and I can now say that Lunch. Supper! is back. Food was delicious, drinks were tasty, our server (Mitch) took great care of us - no more waiting 30 minutes to see a server! Food was hot and delicious. They're also in a new space renovating their old space - it's cute and has a great flow. I'm so happy to be able to put L.S! back on my rotation, and equally happy for them that they've recovered from what could have easily been a slippery slope down. If you're looking for great food and drinks, Lunch. Supper! Is a must.

Yelp
Our Sunday afternoon at Lunch.Supper was a mix of anticipation and satisfaction. Although we waited 30 minutes for a table, the experience that followed was well worth it. The convenient street parking and paid lot across the street made finding a spot hassle-free. Once seated, the ambiance enveloped us in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The buttermilk chicken with hot honey and Mac n cheese were worth the wait alone - each bite bursting with flavor and leaving us craving more. The oysters were fresh and served just right, while the side of mashed potatoes added a comforting touch to our meal. To quench our thirst, we indulged in the rum punch, which proved to be a refreshing delight, perfectly complementing our dishes. Despite the initial wait, the overall experience at Lunch.Supper left us satisfied and eager to return for another delightful meal.

Yelp
Everything is beautiful and warm... from the decoration to the attached garden with beautiful flowers and vegetables... Truly feels like a farm to table experience because of the attention to detail and freshness of the food. The servers were attentive and accommodating to our large group of sixteen. The food came out fresh and tasted great! The burger was delicious... but the consistency of the patty seemed to almost have a pork sausage type of texture. The breakfast biscuit and chicken and waffles were also delicious! Can't wait to comeback and try the rest of the menu!
google avatar

Pat C.

Yelp
Chicken and waffles was good. The flavorful chicken was crunchy on the outside and tender in the inside. Waffles had the right texture. It would be better if it was served with butter aside from the maple syrup. The cast iron seared salmon was rich and very flavorful. Since they were out of green beans that night, it was served with broccolini which was fine. Southern Mess for dessert was very good - the warm lava cake contrasted well with the cold ice cream with drizzles of caramel. The water they served had a weird taste though. Service was good. The place was cozy with large outside seating, very nice on a summer night. Would come back again!

Erin G.

Yelp
The crab cakes and short ribs were delicious! We also got the artichoke cheese dip and it was amazing The little pita crackers that come with the dip are so good!
google avatar

Bailey E.

Yelp
The ambiance is super cute rustic with a modern twist. The food was fantastic! I chose the sampler for my meal which was great as my husband got the Boneless Short Rib app over Mac n cheese so I have plenty to share with him. The house jam was 100000% And the service... let's put it this way- the server came with a new fork for my child that had already dropped two- before I even had to ask for one! Very attentive. We will return.

Caryle C.

Yelp
Attentive service. Creative menu that's well prepared. Ambiance is perfect for porch dining.
google avatar

Miss L.

Yelp
Fabulous lunch! I had the beef brisket sandwich on a brioche bun with a side of Brussels sprouts slaw. It was so delishy! My server was attentive and friendly. Water is provided in a bottle and glass at your table so no need to rely on anyone else for refills. The decor is modern farmhouse with an earthy vibe. The interior seating includes banquettes as well as pub tables. There are garage doors (open in nice weather) which lead to outdoor seating. Definitely a great dining experience!

Yelp
I picked out several places that I wanted to try while we were recently in Richmond, and this was the only one I was intent on NOT missing. There are thousands of glowing reviews, so it must be good, right? Holy cow, this place did not disappoint. Fortunately, we got here at 9:45 (they opened at 10) and were already in line. By 10 the line was around the corner. We waited just a few minutes for our table, I heard a few people back had to wait 1.5 hours. Get there early for a spot! After much hand-wringing, I ordered the Trainwreck. It was delicious and it was the best thing I ate in RVA. The service was quick, excellent, and friendly. A wonderful experience and a fantastic meal. The reviews were right - HIGHLY recommend!
google avatar

L C.

Yelp
I had the double barrel bowl. It was filling and delicious. Server gave great suggestions. Best time to go is before noon!
google avatar

Tajuana C.

Yelp
TRY THE MAC N CHEESE omgahhh it was so good we got greens n Mac to go! My man don't even eat green like that lol. The chicken n waffles but the chicken is boneless no bueno lol. Most of all I loved our waiter!!! I should of gotten his name!!! HE WAS ABSOLUTELY THE SWEETEST N MOST PATIENT. I even loved how they showed their staff love with incorporating them in the menu but on the drank menu of course lol.
google avatar

Sybil S.

Yelp
ambience is very cute. It has outdoor and indoor seating very comfy. Definitely one of the spots you have to visit in Richmond. I only gave it a three out of 10 because they change their shrimp and grits today. It was a tomato sauce with green pepper, onion, and shrimp. The grits consistency was great however, I was expecting bacon and sausage in it like, authentic New Orleans style shrimp, and grits but nonetheless, I will definitely revisit and definitely recommend this restaurant if you live in the Richmond area
google avatar

Amy I.

Yelp
A little cute quaint restaurant. It screams richmond to me and the food is delicious! It has some cute outdoor seating but inside it's adorable! I highly recomend

Yelp
Visited for Tue lunch hour. It was quite open at 11:30am. But when we left the place was full with people waiting outside. Very popular place! The menu reminds me of a greasy spoon but they have a slight twist to everything. As the name indicates, they serve lunch and dinner at anytime! Love it. Had the shrimp and grits today (pictured). I didn't expect it to look the way it looks. The spices is addicting so as big as it looks I can't help but to finish the whole bowl. The way the grits are cooked it makes me feel like I had a jambalaya. The grits are more corse which I had no problem with but couldn't distinguish the taste it under the heavy sauce. The shrimps were really fresh and well seasoned. you win some and lose some, I guess. The service is definitely attentive and super friendly. Would love to come back and try many other interesting things on the menu.

Ellie P.

Yelp
My husband and I have been coming here for years. Whenever we have friends or family in town it's always our go-to because they have something for everyone. We got take out today and it was just as good as eating in. The outside area is nice, perfect for all year since they have heaters. The food is always delicious, the bartenders always make the best cocktails, and the service is always phenomenal. Our favorites are the fried green tomatoes, the shorti bowl, and anything with their fried chicken!
google avatar

Heather E.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch. We chose to eat outside on the patio which was nice except for the many annoying flies. The fried green tomatoes were very good. We got a burger and the chicken sandwich spicy. The chicken although was made with thighs was very dry and a bit disappointing. Or server was very attentive and helpful. I would probably opt for something else next time , they do have in house smoked bbq that looked good.
google avatar

Yelp
Went here with my DD and her BF for a late lunch. Lots of good reviews here, so thought we would give it a go. It was a 45 minute wait at 2:30 on a Saturday, which surprised me. Once we got in, the food menu is wide and deep. We started with fried dill pickles and green tomatoes with pimento cheese and bacon. Fried dills were fantastic. The fried green tomatoes were not as flavorful as I would have expected. Both came out lava hot. Must add that DD loved the fried green tomatoes. I had the shorti bowl, short ribs over cheesy grits two over easy eggs and jalapeños. Short ribs were perfectly tender. Grits were just meh and jalapeños had no heat. Definitely needed more salt and cheese. A little disappointed. DD had the Fire in the Coop, a chicken patty with spicy sauce, amazing candied bacon and jalapeños, and a spicy sauce. The patty was dry but everything else on the sandwich was delicious. She got a Mac and cheese side which was ok. Her BF got Pickled and Fried. Spicy chicken sandwich variation. Same story. Chicken was dry but toppings made the sandwich. Atmosphere very hipster-ish. We ate "outside" in the tent. Nice laid back vibe. I wanted to like to the food more. I would probably try this again to see if I can get to a 4 rating.

Yelp
It's been years since we've been here! The service was excellent! Our server was so nice and attentive the whole time. We came early for dinner and were able to enjoy seating outside on the patio on a warm day. Not a lot of people around us so it was nice to sit and talk without having to scream across the table. The food was still amazing just like last time! The portions are generous and worth the money! We'll definitely be back sooner this time around!

Alex E.

Yelp
Friendly wait staff. You could tell they were busy but still found time to check in. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was juicy and incredibly tasty. Meat was not dry. Pickles were a great touch to the sandwich! Just when I thought I had a filling and incredible lunch (which it was), I decided to try the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. When I say it was life-changing, well, it kind of was. It was so indulgent and delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. I wish I could pack it up and take it back home to CA to share with everyone I know! Save room for this dessert!

Yelp
Lunch.Supper! is perfect for a Sunday brunch. The Imperial Crab Dip was my favorite. Fresh crab perfectly paired with crunchy pita. The RVA Sunrise was good. The chicken and waffle was a big hit for the group. If drinking mimosas - get the pitcher best deal if drinking more than one. Service was GREAT!Cute ambiance with outdoor seating option. Recommend getting there early if you have a group because they don't take reservations and there is a wait. Totally worth the wait. Enjoy!

Steve K.

Yelp
First off, I'm in the RVA area visiting. Found this place off of Yelp. The exterior and interior are great. They did a great job of making you feel like you are enjoying great food in the beautiful outdoors. I ordered the Pickled & Fried sandwich with Mac and cheese as a side. The food came out super fast. The sandwich was delicious as well as the Mac and cheese. So far this has been my favorite place to eat during my stay in RVA. The service was outstanding. Parking can be a little bit of a problem Im sure at times but overall this place had great food, a huge menu for everyone, and a great vibe. I will be back.
google avatar

Christopher N.

Yelp
At first I thought it would be a snobby restaurant filled with a dress up fancy rule since reservations are recommended but I was a fool to realize that it was just a pretty chill place. The staff were pretty decent and friendly and the food exceeded my expectations by being spot on. I would definitely come back if it wasn't packed on a weekend lol.
google avatar

Amber G.

Yelp
Wish I had taken more pictures. This place is really amazing. Prices are really good, especially for the amount of food! It's huge portions. I don't think any of us finished it all- but it was delicious. I will be back. Huge menu and lots of choices. For 7 us to eat was $114...... that's amazing!!! I spend that much for 3 people to eat in Arizona. I got the Plucked & Fried chicken sandwich was yummy. My mother in law got a burrito which seemed bigger than her

Yelp
We stopped in on a Sunday night and while they had plenty of tables, we still had to wait. So we went to the bar for a drink and played some yard games. Once seated and ordered, the food was a bit slow in coming but good comfort food. I can see why this place always has a stream of people. Our waitress was a bit slow and we had to track her down to get a check after 20 minutes of finishing our food. Perhaps that's why we had to wait so long to be seated?

Yelp
Had a great dinner here today! The hostess claire was very nice and attentive. We ended up being sat right behind the host stand and while the restaurant was packed, claire went above and beyond to check in on us while our server was busy. They also have an extensive outdoor seating area as well as a waiting area outside surrounded by the lovely garden that they use in the dishes.

Yelp
Look at this cool plate I found under the fried chicken! Obviously it was delicious. Great spot. Been a minute since I've been here. Fun interior and exterior. Food delivered SO fast it made my head spin.

Yelp
Enjoyed this place! Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and nice outdoor seating as well when the weather is nice. If you're looking for something earlier and your party is small, next door Brunch Jr. opens each day at 9. At Lunch Supper, I enjoyed the kickback mule cocktail and they have a nice selection of seasonal cocktails. I'm not vegetarian myself, but I appreciate their multiple vegetarian/GF options and tried the RVA Sunrise. I wish the potatoes had some more flavor but I liked the ingredients and overall flavor. The rest of my party seemed to enjoy their food. I'll have to try their chicken & waffles or shrimp & grits next time!
