As someone who has recently started working from Lundis au Soleil on weekdays with a friend, I can confidently say it has become my favorite café in Montreal. Each visit strikes the perfect balance between productivity and relaxation, making it my go-to spot for getting work done outside of home. Service (5/5) It has the feel of a neighborhood gem where the staff remembers your name and makes you feel right at home. The service is both friendly and efficient, which I particularly appreciate when I’m trying to stay productive. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, always ready to offer suggestions or engage in light conversation when asked. I’ve never had trouble finding a seat, and I’ve always been able to enjoy my time here in peace, making it a great spot for focused work or quiet conversations. Food and Drink (5/5) The food and drink options at Lundis au Soleil are nothing short of outstanding. One of the things I love is their ever-changing special menu, which ensures there’s always something new to try. Whether you’re craving a light breakfast, a hearty lunch, or a refreshing coffee to power through your afternoon, you’ll find something that hits the spot. • Lunch Options: I often go for their soup specials, which are always delicious. Today, I had a fantastic mushroom soup, and the seasonal produce ensures that the veggies are always fresh. • Beverages: The coffee here is consistently excellent. From smooth lattes to rich matcha drinks, each cup is a treat. Overall Experience (5/5) Lundis au Soleil has quickly become a staple in my routine, and it’s easy to see why. The inviting, plant-filled atmosphere, combined with comfortable seating options (whether you’re here to work or simply unwind), and consistently excellent food and drinks make it a standout café in Montreal. It’s the perfect place for working with a friend, enjoying a light meal, or even having a quiet, intimate date. Every visit is a pleasure, and I highly recommend this cozy, relaxing spot to anyone looking to spend quality time in a welcoming environment.

We went for lunch and had an incredible time there! Service was excellent and so was the food; we got both the fish and chicken dishes, they were simple yet very tasty. We'd definitely come back for supper.

I went there enough times to forget how many! I love that spot! The food is always great and the staff is caring and nice. The food is always surprising and delicious and don’t get me started on the desserts! Plane and simple advice: Just go there!

Beautiful bakery/café/resto. Cool interior with nice vibe, very nice staff. Had a latte and an excellent little cheese cake. Not my last time here, when I am in the neighborhood 😊😊☕🥧

The bread was dry and stale, and did not come with butter (I had to ask for the waitress for it). The vegetables were undercooked and hard. This was especially the case for the butternut squash and potatoes. The fish was chewy, fatty, and had a rubbery texture. All the sauces or cream meant to be in the dishes were served in a blob on the side of the plate, not directly on the food. The presentation of the food was aesthetically pleasing, but the taste left much to be desired in my opinion. My friend, on the hand, really liked the food. The portions were small and there were few food options, almost all of which were vegetables. Not worth the money. The focus is clearly the wine, which was very tasty.

Tried the place for the first time, had the omelette sandwich with home made chips, DELICIOUS! For sure i'm going back to try more stuff, the menu they have very interesting! Tried the lobster salad, loved it!

Appears as a nice little local restaurant. Service was good and friendly, Food was pretty good but expensive for what you get. Wine markup is what left a bad taste. $75 for a $25 bottle is way too much. Wouldn’t go back which is a shame.

Not bad but really not wow. I guess it is a decent neighborhood restaurant. They have a few tapas on the menu and specialized with some imported canned seafood. Tried the lobster recommendation of the waiter with holandaise sauce...it was very heavy and only a few piece of lobster for $20. The fish was also too salty. The canned seafood didn't really taste good. I would much prefer eat fresh seafood for that price. I wouldn't go back

Delicious turbot with lobster sauce, and chicken plancha. Very fast service. Terrasse is small and near the road, but otherwise charming.
