It's a nightmare.
I visited their office back to February 2020, and ordered both contacts and glasses. I have to say the experience was good, and the doctor was knowledgeable. I got my glasses very fast, and they told me I have to use the trial contact lenses and if everything works out then they will place an order. Because of my prescription, they need to order trial contacts. They said they would call me when the trial lenses are ready.
The phone call never comes, but the shelter-to-place came. They closed the office for months, and I somehow forgot the contact order (I don't really need to wear contacts as wfh). When I finally remembered to check it, it's late July. They said they had trial lenses ready, but I never showed up to pick them up. I was shocked. I never got any message or phone call from them. And they're sort of blaming me?!
Well, I finally got my trial lenses, and also called them (on 7/31/2020) to confirm that it works and asked them to place the order to the manufacturer. They promised they will send out the confirmation and tracking info once the lenses are shipped.Again, nothing comes. Today (9/8/2020), I called them to check the status, and they said I didn't call them to confirm the trial lenses, and they didn't place any order either. UNBELIEVABLE! They repeated the same thing that they would place the order blah blah.. but no apology, no explanation. The receptionist's attitude was terrible.
It took almost seven months, but I didn't get my contacts yet. Maybe I need to do some project management, keep every phone call recorded and ask for written confirmations from them. It's really really painful! I don't know how my order is handled with the insurance company. Did they already file the claim and get paid from the insurance already? Tons of questions. But I don't really want to know the answers.
