BUG IN FOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! During Monday lunch hour I went to grab my daughter and I lemon chicken. She only likes the rice and I like the chicken. Well when i decide to eat the food it was later during the night and I was eating piece by piece then I saw something black. It’s a bug a spider or some sort. Disgusted because now my daughter may have ate something as well. The next day I called because it was after hours when i noticed it. I asked to speak to a manager and asked what can they help with since it could be awhile till she got on the phone. I told him what had happened and they said to bring it in and they can offer an egg role for the inconvenience. I said I can send you a picture if you like. He said no we don’t give number over the phone I said perhaps and email. He said just bring it and will see what we can do. I replied I’ll keep the dam chicken till I make time to head to that side of town. Since you desperately want to see for yourself!

Everything we’ve tried here is delicious! Sesame chicken, egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken, lemon chicken. All the lunch specials come with a soup for dine in only. They have great prices my family of 5 spend about 45 for lunch. The fried rice is amazing super tasty. Definitely check out the bobas our favorite are the mango and taro.

Food is always good never disappoints especially the hot and sour soup. Always hot and fresh. Restaurant can be remodeled a bit more modern but overall the food is delicious no complaints.

I was excited to find out that they were still open! I used to order food from here back in 2009 when I lived on that side of town but then I moved back to Cali. Now that I'm back, is great to see that the food is still delicious and the price is still very good! I will definitely be back.

I went here for the first time I have never been here before so I tried that they had delicious good food and everything was good

This is a no frill, awesome place for a dinner with family and friends. They don't go overboard with the portions and the food is always fresh. The nice thing is they have seating for large parties. Have enjoyed dinner many times and will continue to get my favorite lunch special, lemon chicken, when in the area.

Great Chinese food, it was delicious! Service was good, they try to sit you as soon as you walk in the door, but they never come back to see if you need anything else. The background music really needs to change.

My favorite Chinese restaurant! Ive done pick up orders and ate inside and both are great service. Their egg drop soup is 10/10. Very consistent and delicious. Prices are reasonable and large potion for your buck. I get the lemon chicken usually. Highly recommend

We came here on a Tuesday for the lunch buffet. We were told to sit anywhere by the cashier. We sat in a booth in the corner. The prior time we tried to come here, we were yelled at by what seemed to be a regular for sitting at his table. The staff did nothing, so we left. The food reviews brought us back. We were unclear who our server was and my wife never got the drink she ordered. She did get a water cup which had a large bug squished on the lip of the cup. The buffet was more substantial than other reviews suggested. There is a large amount of options. The buffet table probably has ten things on each side plus an area where they have a small amount of fresh items like bao buns. The restaurant is located in a large shopping center with a good amount of parking. Both times we came here were on weekends and the parking lot was pretty full.

As far as San Antonio Chinese goes this spot is way above average. I know I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to Chinese. I grew up in LA and we had some of the best American/Cantonese food around. Of course I'm comparing to that. Very good value. Lemon chicken is bomb. Super respectable hole in the wall. Will be back!

Horrible service attitude!! Didn't greet any customers ignored me while she talked to other employees even when she noticed I was there. Won't go back I miss old owners they cared new ones care about the $$$

Been To Majority of these Asian restaurants and hands down Lung Fung has the best sesame chicken, always so fresh at a reasonable affordable price and they give u great portion in my opinion, I absolutely wish the best for this restaurant and hope this restaurant can last forever and expand

Their food is top notch, the quality is fantastic, the quantity is amazing, even for the person with a hardy appetite. Their prices are surprisingly low for the amount of food delivered.

Don't let the location deter you from trying this place. It's actually is sort of one of those "hole in the wall" places that has great food. The family that runs the location is very attentive to service and making sure their customers have a great experience. The portions are very generous, so come hungry! I typically get the triple delight (aka moo goo Gia pan) and the wife get sweet and sour chicken. Their hot and sour soup is one of the best I have had in the area.

I've been wanted to try Lung Fung for a while. I've been seeing it get good reviews on various Restaurant socials. We ordered the Triple Delight and Combo Lo Mein to go. The food was flavorless! It was priced right and the portions of the entrees were large. But we ordered two Egg Drop Soups and they were tiny!! They were the size of a to go gravy portion! Overall I'm glad I tired it to confirm that this is not the spot to grab Chinese food for our family.

Lung Fung has the best Lemon chicken I have tasted in San Antonio!!! You will be amazed when you taste the food... and they are very, very generous with the portions that you receive. Service was excellent ....You must try them !!! You will go back again It is worth the trip!!!

Never again will i go here. This used to be my favorite spot to go to! Literally been going for YEARS! Well recently i went for the lunch special and got the BEEF WITH SNOW PEAS.. which i always get... And guess what was in my food!? A DAMN CATERPILLAR!!! yes exactly not a typical bug you find in your food.. i got so disgusted and ran to the restroom and threw up. They comped my meal. But charged me for my friends meal.. super disappointing. And they didn't even look SHOOK or concerned. They "acted" like they did... Don't come here 0 STARS.

Everything is always great, good service and practically no wait, best food always. Very highly recommended.

I usually Look for Chinese Places that check all the right boxes.... Surprisingly Enough, Lung Fung Chinese Restaurant exceeded my expectations! I was seated down quickly and my order was taken right after wards! Sweet tea was good and I had the Three Delight Lunch Special, the portion size was as perfect for me and was not too little or too much! I have no complaints at all, prices are very reasonable for the Quantity and Quality of food you are getting! Overall I recommend this place for a Great Chinese Lunch or Dinner!

Went there for the first time today and it was so delicious. Will definitely be returning. Really friendly servers. It was small but comfy and cozy inside not too loud

This has been the go to place for egg drop for as long as I could remember, I've been coming my whole 26 years of life!

Lung Fung is very quick for Noon-Time lunch. The restaurant is always busy, perhaps for their reasonable prices or, their good food. I recently got their Lemon Chicken and Pepper Steak combo for lunch. This is an ample portion and should fill you up and although, I wish the Steak has a bit more zing (that's a technical term BTW), it's a great value. Seating their dining room is as limited as the parking so, I suggest to get there a little early, like 11:45. Hope this helps and as always - Eat in Good Health.

Quick service. Food hot and tasty. Tried many different menu items and pleased with everything. Restaurant is clean and well organized. Reasonable prices. I recommend restaurant to others that want a casual, quick meal.

Do it. They may close at 8pm, but it's worth you gettin over there earlier to score some killer Chinese food!! We went a few weeks ago. Got sat asap, drinks in a few minutes, food maybe 7 minutes later. It's fast, it's hot, and it's delicious!! I go for the stereotypical lemon chicken. Gigantic portions. Btw, whether to-go or dine in, it's the same sizes. Chicken is hit and crispy, rice is tender and simple. Sesame chicken is on point, egg rolls killer. Love this place. Love the staff. Love the food. And yes, there is a bite missing from that egg roll. Couldn't help myself.

The furnishings and service here are basic but they make up for it with the food. The dishes are freshly made, tasty, hot and the prices are good. My only comments is that the portions ate too large and the ratio of meat to vegetables consists mostly of meat. Complaint? Never

Ordered food to go. Service was fast so be prepared to pick up within 5-10min. Egg drop soup was good, needed some wonton strips but just my personal preference. My kids loved the lemon chicken plate. Lemon sauce was bit lacking. Rangoons could have used more of the tasty filling. Prices are low and food is good. Looks a bit rough outside but overall I would eat food from here again.

Not the fanciest place, but the food is always great! Highly recommend trying at least once if you're in the area.

Favorite Chinese on the East side of San Antonio . Lunch special 6.99, egg drop soup and lemon chicken. Soups is always steamy. Entree is always hot perfect. It's hidden In the corner. Off www white road. Across the street from chatmans chicken. They take credit cards and cash. Prices are great as well food. Always a Pleasure to eat here

Food is not so great ,#cold and rice is hard. Texas folks need more food for the price #nothing to brag about this food..

Amazingly fresh food! Wonderful service! We are from out of town and stopped here based on reviews! It was worth it!!!! Our soups were amazing, our rangoons fresh and full! Then our food came: hot and fresh, large portion sizes, such great flavors!

Fast, inexpensive, average Chinese food place. Great for lunch as they have excellent service, and are reasonably priced. Food is better than average, ambience is casual and alit of lunch specials to choose from. Their hot and sour soup comes with the lunch specials and has ground beef in it, a nice touch. My waitress even refilled my tea and poured it into a to go cup for me They get you back to work quickly so you are not in trouble due to being gone too long. Lol I recommend for lunch.

The food probably only deserves 3 stars. But the fast and friendly service gets another star from me. Plus the lunch special is still affordable.

The lemon chicken was good rice was delicious got plenty of good you can feed two with one plate

Lung Fung is my favorite go to spot for Chinese food on the east side. Egg rolls, pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, lemon chicken, hell just about everything is good here. They even serve bubble tea. I haven't tried it yet but I'll remember to get one next time.

It's the McDonald's of Chinese food not the best but better than most. If you're craving Chinese it will hit the spot because there's only 2 Chinese restaurants around this area to choose from. Overall I'll keep coming here when I don't feel like driving out to another side of town.

We went during lunch it wasn't very busy. The waiter (a woman) came to ask us if we were ready to order we asked for some time. The waiter came back shortly after asking again but seemed to be yelling/raising her voice trying to rush us. I assume because they had people at the front ordering to go food. The food is affordable and the sauce is flavorful but the portion is very small not much in the food but vegetables. The fried rice is yellow like Puerto Rican rice and doesn't taste like fried rice. The egg rolls weren't too bad. I did really like the egg drop soup.

The food and service is great but the place looks a little outdated. The prices are normal for a Chinese restaurant. Parking can be scarce. Love the Kung Pao Chicken and hot and sour soup.

The outside is rough and I really did not like parking in the lot. They did have a camera outside watching the vehicles and mine was still there when I left. The food was delicious although they never brought me the soup I ordered. I was to stuffed to remind them. The price was well below average. I highly recommend them and can't wait to return. I think it's a hidden gem.

If you are not use to San Antonio Chinese cooking this isn't the place. Vietnamese own so the style of cooking is different. Yellow rice is fried rice to them.

Coming out of the gym it's all you smell and it smells so good. We tried it once but haven't been back. The Lemon chicken was recommended so that's what we had. Wasn't terrible but wasn't something I crave.

Ordered kung pao chicken and Mongolian beef I've tasted baby food with better kick, but the chicken and beef were both very tender and juicy and the vegetables we're very fresh! But since we were doing takeout was awesome!

Always cheap and delicious food, very fast service. Been coming here since I was in high school, never disappointed.

Honestly one of the best hidden gems of the South side. I ended up working in the area for a few months and I was afraid to try anything on this side of town based off my perception of the cleanliness of the area. However, I'm glad I gave this place a chance. Best bang for your buck, portions are enormous and the egg rolls come highly recommended. I'm sad I no longer work in the area because I would frequent this place at least once a week. So,I'll be bringing family by here whenever they come into town to visit.

Super cheap lunch specials! Good food for the money. Better to eat there then take out.

Been there a few times now. Not the best ever Chinese restaurant but not the worst either. The dishes are flavorful but I'm sure that's due to lots of flavor enhancers such as glutamate & stuff. Those flavor enhancers are very unhealthy but makes the food taste good even the next day. Shrimp fried rice got the smallest shrimp I have ever seen in their fried rice but a good size portion for a good reasonable price. I would go for a quick Chinese fix

We go once a week. Food is good here, serving are perfect. Lemon chicken, chicken and mushroom, and wonton soup are my favorite. Egg roll are a must.

I'm not sure why this place is rated so high. I have had better food at a food court in a mall. The food over lacked flavor. This is not a good Chinese place.

First time customer, last time customer. Given the 4 stars, we had high hopes. Mongolian chicken was scarce on the chicken. The flavor was bland and the rice extremely dry and bland. The hot and sour soup was only sour and terrible. Do not recommend.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is a very cozy place.The prices are great and the Hot N Sour soup is the best I ever had.The lemon chicken is also very good. I never leave hungry or disappointed.

They have great food! Lousy location but great food! I tend to get the Egg FuYung when I go the sauce is so yummy and it is more than enough to feed 2 people! The chicken friend rice is so much you could have it as a side for 4 people! So if your hungry this is the place to go .. but during the day!
