The Best Private Dining Rooms in the East Bay | Eater SF

"Lungomare not only attracts diners for its solid Italian fare but its enviable waterfront views on Jack London Square. It also comes with multiple private dining options, including a dining room that seats up to 40 people and a large patio that seats up to 80." - Janelle Bitker

The beach is sandy and the water rises very slowly when you enter it, so is very good for kids. You can bring your own umbrella and towel. Too bad there is no toilet and the changing booth is very smelly.

Nice beach shallow to start with. There are stones but if you move to the right on public beach towards end of fixed white umbrellas then there are no stones. Not rough sea at all why we were there.

This is the best place to visit while in Vlore. Very crowded with restaurants, cafes, bars, hotels, guesthouses and kiosks selling ice cream, fruits and others. You can plan your trip by booking daily tour from many agents waiting guests at every corner. The other side of Lungomare area is the beach. Also water activities start from the nearby port. Tirana Wheel, play area for kids and adults. Many supermarkets, barber shops and Turkish style ice cream kiosk. If I have more days in Albania, I’ll spend them all in Vlore.

Beautiful place to walk and relax – especially at sunset! Lungomare in Vlora is the perfect spot for a scenic walk along the coast. The promenade is full of life, with plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants to stop and enjoy. Whether you’re grabbing a drink, having dinner, or just taking in the view – it’s a great vibe. Especially during sunset, the atmosphere is truly magical. A must-visit when you’re in Vlora!

Most of the beach is nice, except yeah at one point, all of a sudden it freaking stinks. Like very smelly.

I felt awesome here but: - when I wanted to leave this review I saw some people that were complaining about a sewer pipe that sends dirty water into the sea. - I didn’t see the pipe but during the day I felt in the water a very bad smell and only after I saw other people’s comments I realized from where that came from. Prices are good, people are nice, the view is amazing but I will never come back after learning about that sewer system.

The view here is really beautiful, but unfortunately that’s the only highlight. The sea itself is unclean, with sewage flowing directly into it – I honestly don’t understand why people are swimming. The beach area, along with the beds, tables, and other facilities, is very dirty and poorly organized. To make matters worse, the man who’s supposed to look after the beach (usually dressed in white and blue) only replaces the trash bins in the morning and does nothing else throughout the day. He should really be taking care of cleaning and keeping things tidy, but there’s zero effort. There’s plastic, cigars, packages, etc all around the beach.

This beach could be so lovely, except that it's covered in trash. It would be helpful to have a regular clean up day at the beach and encourage visitors to pick up after themselves. I don't think all the trash was left by tourists. Since tourism brings money into Vlore, I think it would help everyone if it was litter free.
