I really want this place to succeed, so I'm offering a bit of constructive feedback in this review. I'll start with the good, which is the most important thing: the food! Definitely one of the best smashburgers I've had in NYC, it really hits the spot when that craving hits.
The not-so-good: the concept feels a bit confused between fast casual and full-service restaurant. Both times I’ve visited, there’s been just one person taking orders, making drinks, and running food. That setup doesn’t make much sense, even when it’s not busy, and it leads to long waits just to order or grab a drink.
If the goal is fast casual, that’s great—just simplify. Skip the full bar and focus on easy-to-serve options like soda, beer, or wine (think Xi’an Famous Foods). But if the aim is a proper restaurant experience with cocktails and table service, it needs more staff to make that work smoothly.
TL;DR: Amazing food, but the service model needs clarity. Either add staff and/or offer table service, or lean fully into fast casual so the experience matches the quality of the burger.
