Super authentic yummy tacos Mexican place with friendly attentive service, nice cocktails & homey cozy decor & decent pricing. The pork & beef tacos were specifically good. And the black mole was amazing too. We enjoyed ourselves a lot here. Remember to make reservations. It could get busy.

A great mexican experience! The quality of product is very good, with a nicely curated presentation. Quantities are a a bit small so we ordered four dishes for two, our favorite was the tacos de cochinita. The service was kind and fast, they brought nachos and water just when we arrived (not charged), something you rarely find in NL :) Place is small but with a good terrace, feels cozy and homemade. I recommend having the full experience with margarita and mezcal, both super good. It’s pricey but also special

Finally some enchiladas in Amsterdam that get close to what I had in CDMX. They could be a bit bigger and made from corn tortillas, then the rating would be even higher. The price is ok, it's Amsterdam. The service is good, super friendly personnel. Only it took us 8 attempts to ask for the bill, so we ended up just getting ready to leave and pay at the bar. The music is a little loud, but not disturbingly so. Overall a solid recommendation for good Mexican food in the city.

Definitely a must visit. The food is really good and authentic, I can approve it as a Mexican. The whole staff was really kind, Sofia was my waitress and she was really kind and attentive. I recommend the diablita also.

Lupe was delicious. I had high expectations, and it definitely met them. I’m not Mexican, I’m from Colombia, but I love tacos. These are on my radar so far – a really good place. The margaritas were also tasty, and the service was excellent.

Mixed feelings sadly! We had dinner at Lupe, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and service. Everyone was welcoming, the place warm and cozy, and I instantly felt like home (we could order and chat in Spanish too!) They have multiple vegan and veggie options, which is super nice and the reason we came here. The drinks, frijoles, enchilada, and dessert were quite nice! 💕 The quesadilla, salad, and tacos felt underwhelming to me. Not bad, just very simple flavours. But I think my biggest problems were portion size and price. I left quite hungry, and had to eat some more food when I got home. I would have easily spent 55€+ per person to feel full 😞 I don’t mind splurging in restaurants from time to time, but for plant-based street food to have this price it would have to be either a lot bigger or more elaborate (the 14€ mini quesadilla was disappointing). I’d love to come back again, cause the vibes were amazing, people so sweet, and I’d like to try more items. But I would prioritise going to Bacalar or Madre if I had to choose 💔

Authentic, delicious & totally worth it 🌮✨ Had the enchiladas with mole (so good!) but the dessert… wow, next level 😍 Lupe is officially on our Amsterdam favorites list!!!!

Great service and good vibes. Raw tuna and sea bass tacos are super fresh, juicy and flavorful. Nachos are also good. Margaritas are okay. Too sweet and don’t taste alcohol. The beef tacos are also okay ish, especially compared with the fish tacos.
