Okay this is actually the best Mexican restaurant in State College. Super authentic food and delicious flavours. If you are an Indian you will love this as this is very similar to home food taste! Staff is very kind and they have different sauces at the sauce bar. Vegetarian options available.

My favorite Mexican place in town! In fact had my best tacos in life (veg and gluten free). This place is one of a kind due to its sauces and condiments. They are so flavorful. The plantain appetizer is also very complimentary to the spicy and delicious food. Highly recommend this for vegetarians as well; for gluten free and vegans as well :)

Where do I begin ... in short, you will not be disappointed if you are looking for something that feels authentic! Loved their selection of sauces, the meat was spiced perfectly, and the masa / tortillas were delicious. We took the food back to the hotel and it was just a good as eating in the restaurant.

When I need something tasty, filling and full of flavor, I walk myself down to Lupita’s. My go-to order is either the carnitas king quesadilla or carnitas tacos. It wouldn't be true joy if you didn't consume your plate full of happiness with horchata or a crisp Diet Coke. Lupita’s is the best Mexican restaurant in downtown State College - so good I wrote a blog about it for The Daily Collegian. If you eat anywhere, eat here.

This is one of the all time best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Staff and owners are an absolute delight! Food was amazing and as authentic as you can get! I recommend Lupitas to all my clients who take horseback trail rides with me as a place to eat after their rides!

Great Mexican Restaurant. They have a very nice selection of Gluten Free items. Staff was very knowledgable. I liked that I could decide what to put on my tacos. The food was very good.
