LUPO Italian Ristorante

It’s hard to put into words a dinning experience so overwhelmingly delightful. From the start we had excellent service and knowledgeable suggestions. We ordered three appetizers that were each unique and rich in flavour. We shared three main courses that defied logic in their execution and flavour. The desserts were equally delicious and the cocktails we had exceeded expectation. Not a detail was missed and the whole experience was nothing short of divine. Thank you.

This restaurant is a good foodie experience. The food was excellent, the wine delicious, and the service very good. The only thing is that the speed of service is quite slow. We had an appetizer, a main, and a dessert and it took a bit less than 2 hours. That would have been okay but we were tired of waiting by the end. The experience was punctuated by our coffee and dessert being served a long time apart - meaning we drank our coffee to keep it from getting cold and we were planning on cancelling the dessert when it finally arrived. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, the food is very good. Just be prepared to dine slowly as if you were in Italy. Oh! It's a very busy place (which speaks to its good quality product) so it's quite loud.

My wife and I had an incredible time at LUPO! Awesome food, friendly and accommodating staff and fun atmosphere. Just posh enough to feel like it was a big treat, but without the pretension of fancy restaurants that makes me feel uncomfortable. I had the Agnolotti and my wife had the Seafood Linguine. Both meals were spectacular, came quickly and filled us up. I definitely felt the food was worth the price. I can't speak to the parking as we walked the few blocks from our hotel, but I have a chronic knee injury and am always grateful for places like LUPO that are accessible. The restaurant is on the upper level but they have an elevator!! This was very helpful. I recommend LUPO to anyone who loves good satisfying food, but be ready to spend a little more. I'll say again though -- the quality of the food is well worth the cost! Go for it and treat yourself!

This is the best Italian restaurant in all of Alberta! I’ve been here before, but this visit was truly special. I made a reservation to celebrate my first wedding anniversary, and my husband absolutely loved it. Our server, Johan, was incredibly kind and polite, making the experience even better. I only took this photo If you are a party of 2 or 3 people order their family menu it is very delicious ❤️

Very beautiful restaurant with ample seating. We made a reservation for 9 weeks in advance for the high tourist season. Host sat us immediately and the ambiance is very nice. There’s even seating near the large windows and outside to enjoy on a nice weather day. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered advice when asked about dishes and portion sizes. We order many different items on the menu and they made sure to make my birthday dessert extra special. The drinks were delicious! They even had a few cocktail items that were very tasty!

The italian atmosphere is definitely there. Excellent service and nice location. Oven on wood pizza is pretty good but not perfect or exactly italian imo. The pizza dough is sour. Doppio espresso buono! Gelato a bit more a regular ice cream but tasty for sure. The dark local craft beer was very good. Summed up I will definitely advise!

I absolutely loved LUPO! My fiance and I were in Banff last month and we really wanted to try this place as it was on our must try list. It did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was so kind and offered great service. I would highly recommend the pepperoni pizza it was incredible 😍

Great place for your Italian cravings. We like the Italian market vibes, although it gets crowded and busy on weekends, so plan ahead. Our server was amazing and gave my toddler a clean, sturdy high chair. They also have a drawing e-pad for the kids! We ordered the spaghetti with spicy meat balls on the side. We like the al-dente texture of the pasta and the right amount of heat from their meatballs. Their Squash fritters were surprisingly good! Especially the pistachio dip. Definitely coming back here!
