Phoenix’s Essential Seafood Restaurants

"The family-owned Lure Fish House has a handful of locations in California, with Scottsdale as their only one outside of the state. Prices are reasonable but everything wanted from a seafood restaurant is here, from seafood towers to a raw bar with numerous entrees and to additional menu items like skewers of miso-glazed sea bass or Salt Spring mussels basquiase. Try the sand dabs, which are more common in Cali but are difficult to find in Phoenix; the spicy Ora King Salmon burger is topped with a jalapeño slaw makes for a tasty twist on a classic." - Asonta Benetti

8 Warming Soups to Try in Phoenix

"Lure Fish House is known for having some of the freshest seafood in town. The restaurant’s specialties are driven inland each day from the restaurant’s oceanside Southern California processing facility. The New England clam chowder is fresh, creamy, and flavorful — making it a must-try dish for any seafood lover." - Jamie Killin

Visited on a Sunday during happy hour, and what a great experience it was! The service was outstanding, and the food was equally impressive. Shelby was hands down one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had — attentive, friendly, and made our happy hour that much better. We always choose the small outdoor side patio—it does the job perfectly, offering a cozy spot to enjoy the experience. Don’t miss the oysters and calamari — both are absolutely delicious and a must during happy hour. We’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Shelby if you can. New post 06-28-25: We are back and have visited Lure Fish House three days straight. Shout out to Luis, Jake, Toya (I think) and the other two working the bar yesterday (06-27-25). We ordered multiples of charbroiled oysters, French fries, clam chowder soup, lobster ravioli, smash burger, shrimp tacos, and old fashions. They did not disappoint. Food, service, and staff are always top tier. I'll see you all in a few hours. Check them out ASAP if you're in the area. Posted 01/2024: Vacationing in AZ and came across this spot. Omgoodness they did not disappoint. Taylor L. was our waitress. She was very attentive and checked on us at great intervals. The food? The food was amazing. We ordered three orders of charbroiled ousters, a salmon bowl, clam chowder soup, French fries (I love a good fry), and three drinks (lemon something and an old fashion). I'm not a drinker but that drink hit with a nice buzz. Check them out if you are in the area.

Fantastic selection of oysters and other seafood! Overall the food was delicious. The crab cakes were full of crab and not a bunch of filler. The Santa Rosa was delicious but they had run out of the shrimp cocktail, and was running behind, but it was still delicious! Service was ok, may have been a new waitress, but she wasn't very attentive and wasn't able to answers questions about the menu. Also the tiny booths don't fit the big platters very well, but we made due. But overall dinner was pleasant and the food was great!

Google
What a clean and charming fish house to eat at. Pricing is around $20 per plate, 2 of us with the delightful Calamari, Rock Bass, and Tuna came out to $75 2 with a soda. The oyster bar looks awesome, just not my cup of pearls. There was nothing on our plates we didn't think was great. We added a touch of salt, and that was it.

Busy place, we sat outside and it was lovely. Calamari, not over cooked and the sauces were unique and a great pairing. I had scallops and risotto, cooked well, seasoned well and the perfect portion size. Would highly recommend when in scottsdale!

Lure Fish House is truly a gem. We sat at the bar and from the moment we walked into the moment we left, it was awesome! Great service and great food. This was our first time, but definitely not our last.

Best seafood in Arizona I’ve found and one of the best I’ve ever had (coming from an east coaster). Incredibly fresh seafood with lots of variety. The girls at the host stand were welcoming. Our server Xavier took great care of us. The free bread was fresh and hot. The miso glazed seabass skewers was buttery and bright with the arugula salad. The charbroiled oysters were yummy (6 oysters). I got the seared ahi tuna with risotto and miso glazed Brussels sprouts. The ahi tuna was the best, not fatty at all, melted in your mouth. My partner loved his fish and the pineapple coleslaw. We washed it all down with a rich flourless chocolate cake and delicious espresso martini. The restaurant itself was bustling. We can’t wait to come back!

Honestly, I've been here a lot since my last review in 2023. Always consistent. My friend and I frequent the Happy Hour that has a great selection of foods and drinks. Service has always been good. We've had Oscar in the bar area, very friendly and attentive. The bar area is nice because it's big, spread out. When we come here for happy hour, I always feel I can sit back and relax and enjoy. The Oysters and Seafood Cevichi are my thing. My friend loves the New England Clam Chowder, Shrimp Cocktail and Shishitos. Last time we were there for dinner and we ordered the Mahi Mahi which was very good. Atmosphere: big interior, bright, great bar area. Service: very good. Food: very good.

Yelp
Fantastic food, the oysters and salmon were terrific. Desert to die for. Fun and friendly Ambience . Two servers that waited on us Avery and Euan made the night. Both very personable and great ambassadors for the restaurant. We will definitely be back.!

Yelp
Came here with my mom to grab lunch. We had two glasses of white wine, oysters on the half shell ( I prefer the ones from the north east, they're much sweeter than pacific oysters) they were fresh and clean tasting. (Definitely recommend the oysters if you're a fan) And a cup of clam chowder, which was creamy and delicious. The place is nicely decorated, clean and quiet enough to have a conversation. The service was exceptional, the waiter was juggling so much between us and the oyster bar but he was kind, professional and attentive. Thank you for a special Mother daughter lunch

Yelp
We had another great meal at Lure Fish House - this time we did lunch. Sourdough rolls were brought out and the rolls were delicious and warm - the perfect start to the meal. My husband and I chose two different options and ended up sharing so we could try both. I ordered the chipotle shrimp tacos which came with 2 tacos each filled with 3 giant shrimp, smashed avocado, slaw, pico de gallo, and a cilantro crema. For my side, I chose the cilantro corn salad and while I like cilantro, it was a bit too much for me. My husband ordered the spicy salmon burger with the brussel sprouts as a side. The name is a little misleading - it's a piece of salmon, not a burger. It's also described as spicy due to the slaw, but I tasted no spice at all. The brussel sprouts are delicious - slightly sweet and perfectly roasted. My dad ordered the clams and mussels and I got to try one of each - both were really fresh. I preferred the mussels because the broth was flavored with chorizo and gave the mussels so much savory flavor. We all shared two desserts - the key lime pie and sticky toffee pudding. The key lime pie could have a stronger like flavor and be a little more tart, but I understand that can be a little polarizing. The sticky toffee pudding was great - it was warm and not too dense and topped with vanilla ice cream and a rich toffee sauce. We will definitely be back - I recommend the shrimp tacos for lunch!!

Yelp
Was craving Oysters and I am so happy I came here! Wes was a great server, giving recommendations and being very attentive. He recommended the sticky toffee pudding and so do I as a dessert. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. Not noisy but not so quiet you would feel awkward having a conversation. The oysters were fresh and had a sort or buttery taste to it. Definitely will be coming back when an oyster craving hits. Loved the crab cakes!!!! 10/10!

Yelp
Stopped by Lure Fish House for dinner after having a craving for seafood. The calamari was great and the oysters tasted very fresh however, we did mix the oysters ( blue points with Bruce's beach house) and the wait staff never told us which oysters were which. I also ordered the tuna ponzu (not pictured in my review) and I was not a big fan. I wish the tuna ponzu was served with a different chip to dip as the chips were flavorless and thin and kept breaking. It was over sauced and the ratio of the mix ins with the tuna felt off. The person with me ordered the rockfish and loved it however they were not a fan of the sides that came with it.

Yelp
Lure Fish House has a wide variety of seafood options on their menu to fulfill all your cravings! We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. Nice ambiance and great for both casual and slightly upscale vibes. YUZU SOY SHISHITO PEPPERS: The perfect light appetizer as I was dying for some veggies on our trip. The sriracha aioli went well as a dipping sauce. NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER: Decent amount of clams and the perfect creaminess and consistency! SALLY'S SAND DABS (W/ PINEAPPLE COLESLAW & MAPLE MISO BRUSSELS SPROUTS): Was looking for a light fish entree and I'd say this one matched that to a tee; simple but still tasty. I chose the pineapple coleslaw and maple miso brussels as my sides and they both served well to add more depth of flavor to my entree. We admittedly had a very large group which I'm sure makes things more difficult, but it didn't seem like they kept track at all of which seat/table ordered which dish. For every single dish that came out, there was some confusion, as they would bring it to a seemingly random table, and we would have to yell between tables to figure out who ordered it. Overall, decent food although I do think it's a bit overpriced even for seafood. Staff was friendly although there were some hiccups in service; not sure if it was an off day or there just needs to be additional training on how to keep track of orders.

Yelp
What is management doing to their poor staff? I observed hostess, food runners, servers and bartenders and they all had in common, a morose, dour attitude. No one smiled or laughed. I saw no extension of kindness or warmth or levity toward customers, myself included. We couldn't wait to leave (I mean run), will not be returning any time soon. Too bad it has a lot going for it....these 2 happy hour locals to the neighborhood will not be back. Sorry too depressing

Yelp
I'm here for the delicious food and because of service of two amazing young men. I'm writing and reviewing because they deserve to be acknowledged and I hope management would read and share. We all can use a lil love and they certainly deserve the support. Five stars service! Please share this with Avery and euan. K Mac please recognize their contribution to your location which means you offer them both what they deserve ;) thank you

Yelp
It's a lovely ambience and management but the food is overpriced for the flavor, unfortunately. But just my opinion: Everything tasted somewhat over seasoned and salty. There were broken pieces of shell throughout our seafood dishes that we needed to spit out. I expect some of that cause sometimes you can't always prevent that, but it was way more than an average restaurant. Especially a place that specializes in seafood. Crab cakes are better at other restaurants. I do appreciate that there was a decent amount of clams in the clam chowder! Minimal potatoes, the portioning was good. The servers were slow to fill water and bring out the food but might also be because our server just seemed really fatigued. Overall, there's not a dish I would come back here for but it's a lovely ambience for okay seafood dishes.

Yelp
Walking in, I loved the interior design and ambiance of the restaurant! We had a reservation for a large party, so we were seated immediately after we arrived. - PARKING - Large lot so plenty of parking spaces! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - As mentioned before, since we had a reservation there was no delay in getting seated. However, throughout our lunch, service seemed to be off and on. They were attentive initially when we first came in, but slowly came by less. Understandably we had a large party, but when servers came by with our food, they didn't know where to drop it off at. I think it could have been fixed if orders were kept to tables rather than bundling all the orders to the entire party. We also waited quite a while to be checked out, and some of us had an appointment so we had to leave part of the group early. - FOOD - Everything was delicious and fresh! We loved the oysters and shared plates we got. Miso Glazed Sea Bass Skewers - So good!! I loved the Miso Glaze, and the sea bass was so soft and buttery. Pop Rock Shrimp - So easy to keep eating, had to stop myself from taking it all! Sally's Sand Dabs - nicely cooked and flavored fish, and we loved the selection of sides we could choose from. - OVERALL - Great spot for a group lunch/dinner, but I do think their large party service could be fixed.

Yelp
It is truly a tucked away gem hidden in the shops at Gainey Village. Chef Roberto and his team prepared an amazing dining experience for us. I was raving about it after my first visit. So much so, I brought my father in the following weekend. This Family Owned Restaurant offers- A very appealing property, Ambience, Customer Service, Locally Sourced Seafood, Organically Grown Local Produce, Wines from Local Vineyards and Cocktails made with freshly squeezed fruit juices. This was the first time I had ever tried charbroiled oysters. The flavor profile and the melted buttery goodness makes this one satisfying appetizers. We tried so many different appetizers, entrees as well as dessert. Each dish brought the flavor, the quality and the presentation. Be sure to book your next lunch or dinner @lurefishhouse_az 8877 N Scottsdale Rd. Ste. 402 Scottsdale AZ 85258

Yelp

Yelp
My niece came to visit me and the first thing she asked for was seafood!! I found Lure fish house and immediately made a reservation. We arrived on time and were immediately seated. Our server came over quickly and offered to get us water while we chose our drinks. I love this! The whole experience was relaxed and we didn't feel rushed. We ordered drinks and she again, gave us time to pick appetizers. We selected the pop rock shrimp, shrimp cocktail, the mussels and oysters of course! The food came out piping hot and everything was delicious. The bread was warm and the butter was softened (a favorite thing of mine) our server was just amazing. She let us enjoy our apps before coming back to take our orders. I got the Sally's sand dabs. For the price it was a hefty portion! 3 pieces of fish and 2 sides. The lemon caper sauce was delicious and the fish was cooked perfectly. My sister ordered the swordfish and the filet was huge! My niece got the linguine and clams. The sauce was so lemony and light. We were stuffed! Most seafood places all the sides are al la carte and the portions can be tiny. We really got our monies worth. I would come back here time and time again. Great service, delicious food and reasonable prices. An upscale experience everyone can enjoy!

Yelp
Went there this evening for early dinner with my friend. At first, we were going to sit in the bar area, but after looking at the patio that's completely covered with misters, we went out there and it was lovely (even in 99° weather). Amber was our server and she was informative, not overly attentive- just enough, and very sweet. We started with the spicy shrimp ceviche, and both got the miso salmon bowl. I also ordered a side of mushrooms. Everything was fantastic (especially the salmon bowl) and we truly enjoyed our time here. We had to eat quickly due to other obligations, and Amber made sure we were out on time. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
A group of eight of us went out for dinner here one evening and we ended up sitting on the patio! They are not prepared for big groups inside as they only have two larger tables inside. A few of the ladies we had the almondine trout. It was excellent! Also great for the oysters, etc. The cocktails were craft cocktails and they were quite yummy. One thing I would suggest not to order was their cheese type biscuits. They were burned and they tasted terrible. I have no idea what that was. Our server was fantastic. She waited on us handed foot. Highly recommend the place if you're looking for Seafood especially!

Yelp
First visit to Lure Fish House was a little disappointing. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the patio. Our table rocked back and forth, so we moved to another table - problem solved! Our server came by and greeted us fairly quickly. We got our drinks and some appetizers ordered. They were busy so it took a bit longer than expected... and I didn't love the ceviche. It was just average. For my entree, I went with a grilled fish (but unfortunately do not remember which one). It was just ok. Normally, I'm pretty easy to please, but on this visit, nothing really was very good... and none of the food really stood out as being worth the drive or money. Maybe it was just an off-day, but I'm not craving a return visit. The good news is that there are quite a few gluten-free options available on the menu... and the servers will go ask the kitchen if they are unsure whether an item is gluten-free. Overall rating: ***THREE STARS*** Gluten-free rating: ****FOUR STARS****

Yelp
July 2024. I've now been to every Lure Fish House. I had already been to all the locations in CA several times, including the newer one in Los Angeles at Porter Ranch area 3 times. Ambiance: always great. Lovely ocean themed decor. Service at each location is kinda slow and they usually need more wait staff. Food. Today we had clam chowder and it was perfect and had the most clams we've ever had at Lure. Yummy! Bread: the rolls were stale and hard like last nights heated up. Caesar salad. Perfect! Fantastic dressing and just the right amount do it was fully coated. Delicious! Kids meal. Shells and cheese, kids loved it. Fries. Perfect. Cups of milk. This was our light lunch and it was perfect for us. Just slow service and wait staff was helpful but rarely seen and probably too many tables to cover. I see this a lot at Lure.

Yelp
A great option for delicious seafood and drinks. We met friends there and really enjoyed our meal. I didn't take pictures coz we were all too busy eating. It was an early meal around 5:00 on a Sunday and it was busy. By the time we left it was packed. Highly recommend over Ocean 44, which is way overpriced for the same quality.

Yelp
Yum! I had the swordfish with brussel sprouts and risotto. They gave you a hefty piece of swordfish, it was very juicy and meaty. I liked the tartar sauce with it. Simple seasonings which elevated the fish itself. The Brussel sprouts are $2 extra but are to die for. So so good. The risotto is also $2 extra but dang it was cheesy and so good, the olive oil elevated it too. The salmon - ordered by my sister - was outstanding. So buttery and melty in your mouth. There was a crisp crust that made it chef's kiss. My sister said the cilantro lime rice had a nice lime taste shining through and it was moist and very good rice. My dad had the rockfish and thought it was pretty good but would order the salmon or halibut next time. He wanted more sauce for the coleslaw, so if you like a saucey coleslaw maybe skip it. He said the potato pancake was also okay, he would order the risotto next time instead. My mom loved the swordfish. It was my parent's anniversary and you get a scoop of ice cream for free, the sundae was good but I would've expected a "better" dessert. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake because it isn't often you see gluten free cheesecake! Not the best we've ever had but it was good. Dense and good amount of sauce. The mint was a nice touch. We got seated in a a very nice booth. The service was good and fast. Nothing to complain about. We all agreed we would come back.

Yelp
Main entree came out a bit cold but they have the best clam chowder I think I may have ever had omg and their Brussels were great

Yelp
My partner and I ate at Lure Fish House for the first time a couple weekends ago. The experience was very positive. We went on a Monday night around 7:30pm and it wasn't very busy so we were seated immediately. Our server was great. Very friendly and responsive. He also recognized my partners birthday which was nice. For food we started with the Crispy Calamari and the Veracruz Fish Chowder. Both were excellent. The calamari has bites of battered chiles and jalapeños which is a really nice touch. The fish chowder was actually the best bite of the entire meal. Seriously good! If we end up going back I would order a bowl of this for my entire meal. For mains we got the Sally's Sand Dabs and the Trout Almondine. Both were good, albeit safe dishes. Flavor-wise, no complaints; however neither dish was very memorable. In summary: Lure Fish House was overall positive and enjoyable experience and I would recommend this place if you're craving tasty seafood in an elevated environment.

Yelp
This was a 5 star experience from the beginning. The ambiance has a subtle sea side feel. The music level was perfect for conversation with the people at my table. The restaurant was very clean. The service was prompt and our server Jordan checked back regularly without intruding. I had the. Seafood Louie and it was excellent. Very generous with the Crab and Shrimp. The Clam Chowder was some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant and will make this a regular stop for me. Thank you Lure.

Yelp
went for the first time and enjoyed their HH. Great food, sat at the bar. Crowded, great vibe! staff and servers were so pleasant, friendly, accommodating. Our female bartender was the bomb went off menu and made us watermelon martinis that were absolutely out of this world. The best watermelon martini I have ever had made with real watermelon juice. It should be a signature menu item they were that good.

Yelp
Food is top notch and good value for money. Love the fresh catch menu and my husband is a big fan of their lobster roll. Clam chowder is also pretty solid. Good shared app is the sea bass skewers. Service is consistent and attentive - and most of the team know the menu really well. Ambiance is mixed. The space is attractive but it's insanely loud and hard to hear people at the table no matter where you sit in the dining room and the booths near the door are very drafty in the winter. Would love to see them find a solution for the noise level because we love this place but often avoid it based on inability to have a conversation.

Hi there I'm here again and again and again and I will keep coming back haha!!! Soooooo good to good They never make me down! You should try them you won't disappoint

Yelp
Gave Lure another try because we really want to have a great seafood restaurant to go to. It was so much better this time! So glad we have a great seafood place to go to when in the mood for seafood! Pros 1. Oysters were nice and fresh and we tried all 4 kinds 2. The charbroiled oysters were also very good if you want something buttery, cheesy and garlicky 3. My cioppino was very tasty. Wasn't like traditional cioppino that I have had in San Francisco. If I weren't trying to lose weight, I'd ask for linguini to go with it. Easily would make 2 meals although reheating seafood isn't always the greatest smelling 4. My husband's fish was cooked perfectly. Cons N/A

Yelp
Had my birthday lunch here today! Our waiter was so sweet! I had the fish and chips with cold slaw that was delicious! It had bits of pineapple which was so yum! The fish was crispy and sweet inside! Was cod! My sis had the ahi and mushrooms. The mushrooms were ok. Nothing fancy. The chowder was sub par with the clams so chewy should couldn't eat them. The chowder also had croutons in it that were very hard. Where we come from on the NE coast we get Oyster crackers! Sooooo, anyway I give it a 50/50.

Stefanie D.

Yelp
Do not for for restaurant week. Was horrible. No flavor. Oysters toasted like chewy chicken

Yelp
My wife and I had lunch this past Saturday during their Happy Hour. We sat at a table top booth and were serviced by Kirby. We ordered the caesar salad, grilled rockfish taco, clam chowder and Fish and Chips. The service, food, ambience and price (Happy Hour), was truly amazing. Probably the best Clam Chowder since my days in San Francisco. I also need to shout out Soyla who was also working the Bar.

Yelp
Met up with my girlfriends at this restaurant which o had never heard of previously. We took advantage of their happy hour which is only available in the bar and patio area. We ordered a bunch of appetizers which included the pop rock shrimp, tiger shrimp cocktail, fries, raw oysters, oyster shooters, lemon soy shishito peppers and tuna ponzu. I also ordered the chipolte shrimp taco. The tuna ponzu was by far my favorite! When I tell you everything we had was delicious. I also ordered a watermelon mojito and the mixed berry mojito. Service was great, our waitress was attentive and gave us a last call to get in anything else we wanted before happy hour ended. I really like this place. Happy hour is 3-6pm.. take advantage if you can!

Yelp
We were looking for a new seafood restaurant for our anniversary dinner. It reminds me of fish restaurants on the east coast. I had the squid ink striped lobster ravioli in a cream sauce with lots of chopped lobster on top. The potion was so large and very rich, no sides came with the dish. My husband had Sally's sand dabs with capers on top (3 large pieces) and two sides- button mushrooms and Veracruz fish chowder which he said had a kick to it. We also had the hot toffee sticky pudding with vanilla ice cream on top & an additional small pitcher of hot toffee sauce. So rich and delicious. Our server was attentive and offered suggestions. We will recommend this place to our friends.

Yelp
This was our first time into Lure! We had the crab cakes, pop rock shrimp, and oysters as appetizers. All were great! The pop rock shrimp is sooo many shrimp, such a great value, and cooked perfectly! The service was great; the server was super kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu. I wish I would've gotten her name! The decor and lighting were perfect; we were actually talking about a beach trip for the summer while we were there and it made us really excited for that lol For entrees we had the Sand Dabs and the Sea Bass; the sand dabs weren't my favorite, texture was bit tough for me but my boyfriend liked it! The sea bass was delicious, and I do have to say, everything was cooked to perfection! Dessert was the cobbler which was delicious. The sand dabs, martini, and pineapple Cole slaw were underwhelming, but I would re order anything else we got! We'll be back for sure :)

Yelp
Came here for my wife's birthday dinner last night. Honestly, I'm not big on seafood. But I appreciated Lure Fish House. Very clean and beachy motif throughout. Service was great as the restaurant had 2 young ladies open the door for us as we approached. I had reservations for 5:15pm but the restaurant already seemed pretty full. We had oysters - both raw and grilled, calamari, the sea bass, sand dabs (flounder), trout, and the shrimp pasta. Love the variety of choices for sides. Tommy provided excellent service for the evening as well as a birthday dessert that we thoroughly enjoyed.

I FINALLY found my favorite restaurant for oysters and fish! Lure Fish House is a hidden gem I stumbled upon recently and am so glad I did. The restaurant reminds me of fish houses in the Pacific Northwest mixed with a bit of a New Orleans style layout with their broiler. It's bright, welcoming and decorately beautifully to make you feel like you're right by the sea. Staff here were all incredibly nice and accommodating. Our waiter was the one who actually would go back and also shuck our oysters and charbroil the other ones we ordered. Everything tasted so good here! We ordered biscuits, oysters, charbroiled oysters, ahi tuna, brussel sprouts and a potato cake. Literally loved every single item we had. Drinks were great as well! They have a fairly big variety of cocktails, wines and more. I had an espresso martini and prickly pear margarita and both of them were done very well. I definitely will be back to try more of their fish! The other filets looked incredible when they brought them to others. They also have a large outside patio area with cute umbrellas and a nice private room for a more intimate gathering. Go here, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Lure Fish House has good fresh clean seafood. For the most part they are pretty consistent with their food. A bit on the pricey side for the quality of their food. I had to send my Caesar Salad back twice because it had waay too much dressing on it & I couldn't taste the lettuce. The oysters were fresh & good. The rest of the meal was good also, except for my Caesar Salad :( Lots of seating inside & outside, plenty of parking & good service. Great bar if you drink alcohol.Good place for family meal, business dinner or to take a date, even though the ambient noise is pretty loud.Good location & easy to get to.I AM thinking about trying Lure's again & will do an update if I decide to eat there again.

Yelp
My wife and I went there for an early dinner. I had the Sally's Sand Dabs. I asked fot it without the coating, just grilled, and told it was not available cooked that way. The Sand Dabs were dry and overcooked. The Veracruz Chowder and Maple Brussel Sprouts were just okay. Not worth the $32.00 I was charged. The ambiance was nice. The service nothing special.

Yelp
Highly recommend without any reservations. Beautiful restaurant with attentive staff and great food. Three of us ordered the swordfish. Nice slab about 1/2 thick and palm sized cooked to perfection. Two sides came with the protein, pineapple cole slaw was outstanding as were the sautéed mixed vegetables. I had my fish blackened. The other person in our group ordered ravioli and appeared to enjoy it. We rounded out the night with warm Chocolate Flour Cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Lure is a very good restaurant with excellent value. Fresh fish is flown in daily and prices are reasonable. Definitely one of Scottsdale's finest.

Yelp
We celebrated my husband's birthday. Food was excellent. The atmosphere was great. Service was off. Slow, awkward, brought 3 wine glasses for 4 people. Had to ask twice for a couple things. Overall a good experience. At the end we were asked to move for another party.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday and had an amazing experience. The food was phenomenal and our server Sela was great. I've been here before and I'll definitely be back. (Be sure to get the sweet potato fries and the charbroiled oysters)

Yelp
Lure Fish House: How happy hour convinced me to move to Arizona Went here for happy hour which is available in the bar. This cute and nautically decorated restaurant with blue and white decor gets packed rather quickly and I see why. The host stand was welcoming and we got seated right away. Our service was fast and the server was an absolute delight. We got a couple of drinks: the California Dream which was a juicy, refreshing orange vodka based cocktail and a watermelon mojito. We really came here for the happy hour menu and ended up ordering almost everything. Started with a dozen oysters right away and half dozen char broiled. Incredible selection of oysters leading to an incredible variance of tastes and texture. The Mussels were so soft and packed with flavor and that side of garlic bread it comes with is perfect for soaking up the lovely chorizo tomato based broth. The spicy ceviche was good but nothing over the top. We also enjoyed the sliders which come with a generous portion of well caramelized onions and also the calamari which is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The crab cakes were so fresh and light with a wonderful remoulade and corn&arugula salad. A popular dish that we ordered a second round of was the pop rock shrimp. It's your typical battered and fried shrimp with a spicy mayo based sauce but their take on it was so well done! These choices alone were just on the happy hour menu. I am so excited to move here just to experience this again and try their regular menu items. Scottsdale food scene is proving itself one restaurant at a time and Lure Fish House is no exception. Excellent place to gather. Love it.

Yelp
This was another spot we ate at for a golf trip. They were great about accommodating eight people and getting apps and food out. The oysters were really good, we did wear coast one. Everyone like the calamari and there was a shrimp app, it was fried but had a great sauce. I personally ate the sea bass with the Parmesan potato cake side and that was a hit. Crispy parmeseany exterior and super fluffy inside. The corn side was good too. Had a few bites of my friends ciopinno and that sauce had huge flavor. Couple others said the clam chowder was great as well. Good strong drinks too. Def was a popular local spot.
