Daytime Chef Wilson Gourley Departs 8Arm - Eater Atlanta
"His previous work includes a stint in the kitchen at Brown and chef Nhan Le’s seafood-focused Lusca (now closed) in the Brookwood Hills neighborhood." - Beth McKibben
I came here with a friend the first week they were open. We snagged a seat at the bar and stayed there for dinner as well. The menu is creative but accessible. The homemade bread is off the chain delicious. And the bartender was both helpful and adorable. There's complimentary valet parking around back. The only thing holding it back from a fifth star is the price-point seems a little steep considering the portion sizes. Also the desserts were just so-so. #Atlanta #Restaurants #OystersOnTheHalfShell

It's pricy but I'm not sure it deserves it. Definitely $$$. The food was good but not amazing. The portions were a little better than expected (still need more than one selection to be full). Kinda fake, menu purposely includes items most Americans have never heard of. The waiter acted overlly chivalrous; like a child pretending to be a knight. Most of the wines are +$45. The best deal is the half priced oysters happy hour, and the large bottle of french cider @ $21.

Way too expensive for starters. Restaurant ambience and decor is seriously lacking in various aspects (dark, boring environment, cheap furniture). Menu is very limited and is for a specific pallot. I hated pretty much everything I ingested. Service was pretty solid, as the only positive from the experience. That's just me though.

This place simply rocks. One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Appeals to both meat eater and seafood/sushi eater in your crowd. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

Great food and great service. We missed out on the infamous bread but got oysters, swordfish, hangar steak, torn potatoes, and broccoli rabe. Everything was great, especially the torn potatoes.
