My uncle gives this place tons of business. After dinner with family, he suggested we visit here for tea.
The 10 of us (7 adults, 3 kids) settled in. Ordered tea, drinks, and snacks. The kids were playing. My husband (dark skinned) chose to stand because there was a chair short on our table, and so he could keep an eye on the kids. My husband was not bothering anyone. Simply standing by our table.
Soon, a staff member rudely came to our table to ask if my husband was with us. Not one time did they think to ask my husband directly if he had been assisted, if he needed a chair, or simply greet him. If they had simply said hello, they would've known he was with us.
No comments about the food or tea because we chose to leave.
