Truly epic local custard sundaes. Their sundaes menu is absolutely killer- try a Western if you don’t know where to start. The rotating flavor menu is such a treat too, exploring combos with the sundae toppings is a lot of fun.

Pretty good Custard but over priced at $7+ for a tiny amount of frozen Custard for a 3 topping sunday. Lots of shady homeless people hanging out in the parking lot so I would definitely not go here after dark. For some reason this place always has the violent strung out type of homeless people in their parking lot that they share with the next door liquor store. Their frozen custard is delicious and I used to recommend this place to people with the disclosure that it’s in a seedy area and it is very risky going here since you have to order at the walk up window and you’re forced to wait in the parking lot in your car and the whole time you’re on edge because there’s most likely a violent homeless person a few feet away from you. The last time I went there was a tweaked out homeless person with a metal rod swinging it around so it was very scary waiting in the parking lot and we had to run to get our frozen custard once our order was called and ran back to our car and go eat our frozen custard elsewhere because waiting in that parking lot next to all the crazy homeless people was very scary since you never know when any of them could lash out at you. I’m very curious if anyone has ever been attacked and why this corner attracts so many violent homeless people. It would be such an upgrade if there was security or police keeping homeless people off the property during the hours of operation to make customers feel more safe to visit this spot that truly has delicious frozen custard but is not worth putting yourself in danger by visiting. I really hope this area improves one day because they have something good going on and I want them to succeed.

I really hate to do this but I drove about 15 mins to try this place and pictured below is an actual size of a small that they charge around $4 for. When they handed it to me I thought it was a free sample and was waiting for my order until I realized it wasn't coming. If you're looking for Frozen Custard do yourself a favor and go to Nielsens.

Absolutely delectable. I have lived in Las Vegas for almost 11 years, driven by this establishment one hundred, if not a thousand times and JUST discovered it. Bring a card they do not take cash. The Western Special is pictured, LOtS of caramel & candied pecans with your choice of frozen custard. Taste of heaven.

While I always strive to be compassionate, their presence gave the place an uncomfortable vibe, making me think twice about visiting after dark. It's a shame, as a great dessert is best enjoyed in a setting where you feel completely at ease. The Main Event: Food and Drinks Now, let's get to the star of the show: the frozen custard. I opted for a three-topping sundae, a classic choice to truly get a feel for what the place offers. And I must say, the custard itself was fantastic. It was incredibly creamy, with a rich, smooth texture that spoke of quality ingredients. The flavor was pure and simple, exactly what you'd hope for in a classic frozen custard. The toppings were fresh and complemented the custard well, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. However, the portion size was a significant point of contention. The serving was surprisingly small, especially for the price. At over $7 for a tiny sundae, it felt like a splurge that didn't quite deliver on value. While the quality was undoubtedly high, the quantity left me wanting more, which isn't the best feeling after shelling out a considerable amount for a dessert. Price and Value This is where the review gets a bit tricky. The price point is steep. Over $7 for a small three-topping sundae feels disproportionate, even for gourmet dessert. I understand that high-quality ingredients and a specialized product often come at a premium, but the small serving size makes it a difficult pill to swallow. It felt like I was paying for a luxurious experience but receiving a very modest portion. Conclusion So, is this frozen custard spot worth a visit? It's a qualified "yes." The quality of the frozen custard is genuinely excellent, and if you're in the immediate vicinity and craving a truly good scoop, you won't be disappointed by the taste. However, the high price for a small portion and the less than ideal parking lot atmosphere are significant drawbacks. I would not recommend making a special trip from far away just for this. It's a decent spot for a quick, sweet treat if you happen to be in the neighborhood, but it's not a destination in itself.

Maybe the best ice cream I've ever had. They have so many options its hard to choose but its all amazing. This place is a must try!

Omg, I legit have been coming here since o9 ! Love this place it's so bomb! And the staff is nice I love that the owner son works in the shop! Very family oriented. It's literally a must when you're on the strip area you come here! It's so smooth and just tastes really good! I always get the butter crunch it's my favorite! More on rhetorical sweet side because of the caramel and that crunch on the top. My kids love their shakes && the price for the shakes is around 6 bucks and some change. Not bad at all!

Great custard but not in the best location. We try ordering and taking it back to our house very quickly. This area has become really scary and get ready to be asked for money by the homeless on every visit. The custard is very good and very creamy. There's a good variety of flavors as well but not all are available each day. Some are available in larger prepackaged containers.

The dessert is great! I came here more than 10 yrs ago and I loved it. And 10 yrs later, the quality of the food is still good. But the area has become a little bit more sketch compared to what I remember. There were a few homeless people around the front of the store which made it a bit scary for my little kids to get down to order custard. I wish they had a location that was nicer and had seating, maybe in somewhere in summerlin or centennial hills! Or even just a drive through. But we sat and ate in the car for a little, then drove somewhere else to eat. It was $5.99 for a sundae with one topping and $2.49 for a small cup. Frozen custard is still great!

I come here when I'm in the area and I love their custard ice cream. A friend introduced me to this spot in downtown. They open later in the afternoon and usually close at 11pm. I've tried their specialty custard ice cream with toppings and during my most recent visit, I tried their special of the day called 'blue moon'. It is an almond flavored custard ice cream and something that I've never tried as an ice cream flavor. I actually really liked it and didn't know what to expect, hence the name. They have a daily special of the day and a calendar views on their windows that shows the special of the day. Also, I'd you join their email rewards program, they also send frequent emails for a discount or free cone, etc., which I get I'd say every other month or so-- it's worth joining and getting to use them on special deals.

Really a 4.5. Nice hole on the wall spot. Quick. They have 4-5 flavors and you can customize with up to 3 toppings or get a sundae. Yummy custard, but stick with the go to's. Death by chocolate with strawberries is SUCH a winner. Mango was not. It's not bad by any means, but doesn't taste like mango either

Found this place when I visited the next door restaurant a few years back. Staff is friendly and even with a line,, it moves fast, typically. Not really anywhere to sit but sketchy area so prob best to sit in your car and leave when your done. I used to make the drive from the strip to the other custard place(no name dropping but atmosphere is better there), but this one is more convenient when I'm in town. I stick to a vanilla sundae with butterscotch and nuts. This time tried the butterscotch crunch Sunday and didn't disappoint. The "crunch" can get a little much as it's fine granulates but nice to have that little crunch with the vanilla. One issue was the wait was longer than usual as their hot Carmel machine broke. They called me up and said they can't finish my order as the machine was down, I said i ordered butterscotch crunch, thought it came with butterscotch, but could I just substitute butterscotch for Carmel? I was confused but I'm sure they know what goes in their sundaes. I'll go back to my go to next time, but definitely will be a next time!

Luv you guys! My childhood home is down the street and I go anytime I'm in the neighborhood. My sister goes crazy for the licorice. Perfection every time. Fast service and a classic old school feel. Gorgeous at sunset and so satisfying in the summer heat. Nostalgia, fun and satisfying

I've been coming here off and on for thirty years with my grand parents. Happy to take my kids along for this experience. I had chocolate and peanut butter custard in a waffle cone. Creamy and good but not out of this world. The neighborhood is sketchy and it's only a walk up window. Line was fast and worker was friendly.

First time trying this place. We went on a Saturday night around 8:00pm. There was a short line, & it moved quickly. This place is not far from the Strat. Not the best location, but so worth it. Go with a buddy! Keep in mind there is no seating. Eat in your car or take it to go. They make the custard there, and it's been around for years. Will definitely go back. They even have a punch card to work towards a free item. Great custard!

Go baby go! I'm nuts for this place. The butter crunch sandy sundae will bring youbto your knees. The area is on the up swing and I am happy about that yet still a bit cracky....it's a risk I'm willing to take to get this creamy treat. I add the hot butterscotch yum yum sauce to all my creations. The pecans are salty and so good with any dessert. The fresh made daily waffle cone is fun on the side if you crumble it up. It adds a yummy texture to anything here

Oh, Luv it. It's a local comfort thing. My parents used to go on dates here lol. I grew up going here as a kid. Now my grown coworkers and I huddle in our cars to get sundaes after work on Friday nights (it's cold and some sketchy people in these parts - but, whatever). The custard is YUM and the staff, it's usually the same two younger guys working, are honestly the sweetest everrrrrr. So kind and professional and patient with our giddy indecisiveness. We love them. Thank you Luv Its - you'll always be the best.

Came here because the singer and the drummer of the Killers like this spot and I'm glad I did! Great frozen custard at a decent price! They have rotating flavors, which is fun, and I liked that you could choose toppings and stuff to blend in. I went for classic vanilla and it was so thick and creamy. Surprisingly filling too! Only issue is there's no place to sit so you kinda just hover around the parking lot.

Such great memories here, I have always gotten a delicious treat here years ago and now. Today I had the Luv It Special with strawberries and nuts. I love that the strawberries and nuts didn't detract from the rich custard taste but complimented it. Just superb, rich, creamy, satisfying custard.

This is the place. It's got danger, old Vegas vibe, oh and custard :D. It wouldn't be as good without the slight chance of a shanking. There's usually cops hanging out with their lights on. But no really it's good and it's very Vegas.

Our favorite stop on the way home from a nice night out for dinner! The malts hit home to a Vegas local my grandma lived just around the corner my mom was raised in that home and they passed this on to me! True local spot.

We had a food adventure (which is a special and rare occasion) We got to try Tony Roma's Prime Rib special and this frozen custard. Words cannot describe how satisfying and rich this dessert was. For me this is the best dessert attraction on Fremont Street / Arts District . Not sure if I would be open to trying others after having this one. So rich.

The flavors I tried were soooo delicious. It is right by the Strat. I found it on Yelp and I told my boyfriend we must try it. We ate dessert here twice before leaving. I tried the Western Sundae, my boyfriend tried the luv it Special. The western is sooo good. You must try when you are in Vegas. Fast service and friendly staff.

Definitely a frozen custard staple here in Vegas for locals & tourists alike! They've been killing the game for YEARS, but many people have only been for their first time recently! It's okay, it is a bit harder to get to and may not be in the nicest area, but whenever we are near the downtown area, we are sure to stop in here! Luv It Frozen Custard has ample amounts of parking Which features a HUGE menu (huge with the variety of items as well as huge with the physical size of this billboard of a menu!). Once ready to order, head to the windows! The people working are very nice and helpful if you need some recommendations! *be sure to look at the window or slightly inside! Sometimes they have custom/specialty custards! *mostly "mix ins" that create a different flavored custard like heath bar! The custard itself is creamyyyy and perfectly made. The toppings that they layer on top are generous as well as beautifully done! No complaints on taste & cost! I can see that weather May effect if you go here as there is no seating and you need to come up to the window to order, but it's very easy to eat in your car or standing along the side. *not like you would want to eat it for longer than 20min or you would start drinking a shake! Also want to note that I love that this place caters to everyone! Two teachers (us) roll up in a Toyota RAV4, two teens walk up from the street, a couple on a date are seen in their car, a group of firemen head to the window before getting called to an emergency, off duty police officers grab a cup to go, a woman quickly orders and takes a to go custard order, and a hospitality gentleman enjoys his cup after a long day of work! Come and go as you are :)

Dessert in Las Vegas... My Yelp friends are so awesome! Mel and Terri are some of the Best Las Vegas Yelpers! They noticed (from my check ins) that I was in their hometown. Terri texted me and asked how long I was staying. We decided to meet up that day for a quick visit. The venue was perfect - Luv It Frozen Custard! At first, I thought, "Oh, no! Dairy... It's going to hurt me because I'm lactose intolerant!" I looked at the menu and saw that they had Dole Whip, so, I would be able to partake in a yummy treat! I arrived early for a great free parking spot right in front of the window. (Takeout only here or - just stand and eat on the spot like we did!) There were a lot of customers coming and going on a Sunday afternoon. Some people bought bags of packaged frozen custard... It's that good and famous! This is the OG shop that began in the 1970's!!! Whoa! When Terri and Mel got there, they were accompanied by their local Las Vegas Yelp friends! Nice to meet you all! Everyone had fun looking at the extensive menu! Some people got Sundaes while others got shakes! I decided on a sugar cone, but pineapple Dole Whip wasn't available. Mel encouraged me to take my lactaid pills now - before I ate the dairy products - so, I did - and ordered the Peach Frozen Custard. WOW!!! It was rich and creamy with tiny bits of real peach in the mix! Ahhh!!! So smooth and delicious - in contrast to the crunchy fresh sugar cone! Nom nom nom!!! (And the lactaid pills worked... LOL!!!) Even when it's cold outside or raining we will drive out to Luv It Frozen Custard to have tasty treats! Never disappoints, any flavor is good! Our go to: Cups and Cones - small serving of the flavors of the day with no toppings. My fave is Butter Pecan! Graham Cracker Sundae is my fave! Him: Any Peanut flavor/sundae! Eat your treat in your car with your someone special and be delighted!

Frozen custard all the flavors are just over the top. I can't stop having them every time I'm around the area. Fantastic service from teeners. Ambiance is not the best but I still go there- never miss. To die for.

Best frozen custard in Vegas. Everything is old fashion way, check their website for the daily specials. Even if their daily flavor is not your cup of tea, there is still Dole Whips available! save you a trip to Disneyland or Oahu for that! The area seems to have some seedy people asking for money so be careful.

It was a chilly night in Las Vegas but that didn't stop me from trying out some old fashioned frozen custard. Had the vanilla in a cup and it was great. The vanilla flavor was awesome and it was nice and creamy. I came back multiple times lol.

They are closing in on 50 years of business! You are not around that long without a proven product! Luv It Frozen Custard is as solid a custard as you'll ever taste! No, it's not located in a good area, but it's safe enough to take your family for some delicious custard! My suggestion...The Western!

First time here thanks to a friends FB post so decided to try it out! We ordered a s'mores sundae, chocolate chip malt shake and a small vanilla ice cream cup - it was about $16 for all three. We all enjoyed our orders and said we would go back if we happened to be in the area, not a place we would drive out of our way for. There was a family that had their tailgate down and were hanging out right in front of the window to order, because of that I was standing off to the side - there was room between the flavor board menu of the inside and their tablet to place the order... what disappointed me customer service wise was the guy hiding off to the side not visible in the order window. It wasn't until I peeked my head around the corner that I saw the employee there. No greeting until I asked him if he was ready for me to order. It wasn't until the end of our transaction that he became friendly. Oh well, first impressions matter most. He could see I was standing there, but I could not see him from all the papers taped to the window, would have been nice for him to adjust his position to be more visible. Other than that small thing - not a bad experience. Not a great area, but still a good local ice cream place with a lot of options!!

This little shack is off of Las Vegas Blvd, near the north end which would be the end that the Stratosphere is by. This is a local spot that one of my Vegas friends turned me on to, and it didn't disappoint. I'd never had custard before. It's soft, not hard like ice cream even if it's been in the freezer for hours. Heavier than Gelato, super creamy, just really good. Every day they have three special flavors. Blueberry and Lemon are standout for me. My friend made the mistake of leaving a pint of lemon in my freezer, boy was that a mistake! One day we drove by, I waited in the car as my friend went in line. Let me just say there are some interesting folks walking about the parking lot. Definitely a place where you watch your surroundings. So I'm saying of you're going to risk life and limb for custard, Luv it is the place.

I have been coming here for years . Second time I have been here and they were out of crunch for the crunch sundae. The pineapple dole whip machine was broken . The homeless around the area was worse than ever. We got hit up for money. The whole area reeked of weed .. very disappointed

I've been coming to Luv It's for just about 10 years now and not once has the quality ever changed. It's been a tradition of mine to come here the Monday before Thanksgiving to purchase some custards to pair with some pies. This year we decided to go with the Wild Cherry, Vanilla and Pineapple Dole whip. All fantastic. I also purchased a small Banana Fudge Krumble. This is one of my favorites. Banana chunks on top of vanilla custard toppled with hot fudge and delicious cookie crumbles. I'm always in sheer bliss when eating this.

First time trying this delicious ice cream ? The location is really weird here so unless your looking for this place or know of this place you probably won't find it . I' finally decided to try it , yesterday was getting warm out here so this quick stop was exactly what we needed to cool Down . We got 2 ice cream cones chocolate and rocky road single scoop . I think it was 1.95$ for the scoop and cone . The menu was literally huge I didn't bother to read it all . But I defiantly will be visiting this place often during this hot summer . Took my 7 yo niece here so she could experience Vegas' long standing custard ice cream establishment . I was pleased to see it was still all the same efficient service and deliciousness!

Mmm mmm mmm! We Love this place! This is the OG custard in town. They have special flavor custards of the day plus dole whip! It's a tiny shack that has been in town for decades, it looks a little shady around it at night but it's totally safe. I remember coming here as a kid and I have been a loyal customer ever since! THE BEST CUSTARD IN TOWN, today we got butter pecan luv it custard with amazing salted pecans and the cookies and cream cup.

I've been living in Vegas all my life but BARELY found out about this place. The custard is so freaking good, no hate but better than Nielsons which is probably their competition. And everytime we stop by, whoever attends to us at the window is friendly everytime.

Highly rated locally as in the top 10 ice cream places around Vegas. Off Oakey &Las Vegas Blvd this will be a must stop for locals and tourists alike. Super happy to found this place because you won't see it on Las Vegas Blvd, the building doesn't face that way. It faces Oakey. Special flavors every day keep this place fresh and providing great frozen custard flavors. My choice was licorice, really good! You can take home many flavors and sizes. I will definitely come back when I am in the area again!

The place seems hidden. They only have an order walk up window. We just walked across the street so we didn't have to park around this area. The staff was nice and kind, she provided us with free samples of all the flavors of the day custard. They have frozen quarts to-go as well. The custard wasn't too solid, it's very soft. It's just right! Love the texture! There are plenty of toppings to choose from. We ordered Vanilla, Blue Moon and Pumpkin - love them all! They also make them into milkshakes and concrete. We've been living in Vegas for a while now and can't believe this was only our first time trying this place! :)

Still a great place to get custard. I was actually able to step out of my comfort zone and try something that wasn't the Western. And it was so good! But that Western... that's where it's at. If you don't know what to order 'cause the list is a bit daunting, get the Western. It never disappoints.

A family-owned business since 1973, which is impressive to see. We, as locals, love this place. The best-frozen custard scoops and sundaes in Las Vegas. Custard is made fresh daily. It's a walk-up window, so easy access. Great service. They still have the old-school Vegas sign and building, which is fantastic. Small parking lot, but we have never had an issue getting in or out or finding a parking spot. It's not too far from the main strip. Many flavors to choose from; on this trip, we got a vanilla cone, the famous cherry pie, and the chocolate chip. I love the fresh chocolate chips. Worth a trip!

This place has been operating as a family operation since the 1970 & I have coming here since the 90's Took me all these years to know about this awesome sweet shop . Not in the best location in town,but you can tell from the customers waiting to order or pickup their treats, this place is special. Ample parking lot, behind a gas station off Las Vegas Blvd, you order from a order window after viewing the menu board on either on their wall or printed on their glass windows on the pick up window. No indoor dining available. Was meet by a young man who took my order of a regular lemon dole whip. $ 4.95 tax .041 Total $5.36 The best lemon dole whip I ever had! Smooth. full of lemon flavor & cold enough to give you a brain freeze!Their sundaes advertised on the wall as you order, all sound tantalizing & can't wait to try them all! They have a very pleasing menu, but do no have anything sugar free, which my wife needed in order to partake. Will be back more often as I know where they are! Hours 1pm -10pm A little wait , to receive your order. but worth it!

It be I, Pirate , seasoned sailor and taster of custard! I be writin' to ye today to share me thoughts on yer establishment. I must say, the custard be tastin' like a sunken treasure that's been the depths for years. How-um-ever, as me mom always said, there's always room for improvement. So, here's the problem, mate, ye sell yer flavors like a talkin' parrot in a cage, but ye only offer these wee taste cups that are more hole-y than a pirate ship under cannonfire! I mean, I couldn't taste anything with the cups falling apart faster than ye can say "shiver me timbers"! Now, I be understandin' it can be costly to offer a bigger cup for every flavor. But, suppose ye hoist the anchor on this matter and invest some doubloons on an upgrade! I tell ye, the whole swarm of salty dogs would be lovin' it! As a seasoned taster meself, I understand the importance of sampling before buying, specially in a place where the flavors are many as bubbles in a wave. So, what d' ye say? A Vegas staple. Located behind the original Baja Mar location (another delicious spot). I've been coming to Luv It's since I was 5 years old. My dad would take me here after a day of helping him with yard work or helping around the house. Luv It's specialty is their custard and oh boy do they do it well. Creamy, deep in flavor and just overall heaven in your mouth down to the last bite. Most custard I've tried is too rich; you're left very thirsty and slow down on your bites toward the end. But at Luv It's I'm in love from the first bite to the last. I always get the Western Sundae which is a classic in its own right. Delicious fudge draped over their classic vanilla custard with candied pecans. Decadent and delish! The area is not super inviting at night but I do implore you to try Luv It's. It's a Vegas classic that will always have a special place in my heart.

On our most recent visit, I went with a hot fudge sundae with fresh banana nut frozen custard, one of that day's featured flavors. It was a small size and just the right amount for me. Not only are the desserts here delicious, they're also reasonably priced. You can get a small 4 oz. cup or cone for $1.95! My sundae only cost $5.65. If you want to check the flavors for the day, head over to their website and you'll find them there. Many of the reviews for this place talk about the location, which is next to a gas station off of Las Vegas Boulevard and Oakey. This has been a Las Vegas staple for many years , me personally for over 20plus years, extensive menu with many options... always delicious... and is always worth the drive when you have a sugar craving m, as of late I've noticed there are kids working there that aren't that personable and sometimes rude, not the son of the guy that I'm used to being there but other kids working there, also noticed them weighing the custard and taking custard back out of the serving containers if it weighs slightly over (whatever that is )once it's been scooped ... portions seem smaller ... be prepared to encounter possibly dangerous street people as that area has steadily declined in the past two decades... seems like every time we're there we get asked for something from them ... anyway I know and realize it may be too much to ask for the old days of Las Vegas

The custard is good but you need to know order a big size it's so good sundae's are the best value for your buck.

Amazing!!! I had the Western and it was so good! Crunchy & fresh pecans and the best tasting caramel I've had in a while, so creamy and homemade tasting. And who needs to say anything about hot fudge? Come on... it's hot fudge! The custard was delicious! Hands down the best frozen experience ever!

Our go to simple ice cream on cone. We love their chocolate bec its not overpowering chocolate flavor. The cashiers/server are very friendly. Just don't like location but we still go given the location.

This place is worth the drive! The Western Special and the S'mores were recommending by Isaiah, great recommendation and great service!

Has wonderful costumer service they don't Mind asking anyone for more than one sample. One of the creamiest, most refreshing custard there is in Vegas. If your looking for somthing cold and sweet this is the perfect place with different flavors each day

Super tasty simple little sundaes. I loved it because it wasn't overpriced and wasn't cartoonishly big like so many trendy foods in Vegas. Great little hole in the wall! My kids loved it too.
