Food, energy and service was amazing. Tyasia was our server. She was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely ask for her if you came!!! My table ordered Cajun shrimp and grits, chicken waffles, grilled chicken sandwiches and breakfast potato bowl. 10/10!!

Such a nice cafe with beautiful decor, amazingly friendly staff. Owner was sooo nice. Great prices. Wish I found this spot earlier in my vacation instead of last day. Would’ve definitely came back. Food was delicious.

We visited Lux Cafe based on the great reviews and were excited to try it out. The food didn’t disappoint, everything we ordered (crawfish pasta, shrimp and grits, and a burger) was delicious! However, the service left a lot to be desired. There was only one high chair available, which made it a bit inconvenient for families. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food, only to be told they had run out of pasta. After expressing our frustration, the pasta suddenly appeared within minutes, which was confusing and a bit frustrating. The staff seemed overwhelmed and tired, and overall, the service felt disorganized. The place has potential, but they really need to improve how they manage customers during busy times.

Jamal and Cassandra are the nicest people. Jamal customizes your coffee I got a lavender latte hubby got Butter pecan cappuccino. Service is excellent. Food was great as expected. Friendly, inviting, welcoming and clean. Cassandra is the sweetest waitress she checks in with you and makes sure you are comfortable. Best breakfast in NOLA!

Missy is the best! The food is good. The service is very friendly and the fresh squeezed orange juice is the bomb. I had the hot sausage Poboy, which was enough to feed two or three people, the chicken and waffles was delicious and the meat lovers omelette was also very good. Get the fresh squeeze orange juice!

Food is really good here, nice quality and very enjoyable. they make freshly squeezed orange juice which is amazing. The service is very slow, you have to order and pay at the counter. They only seem to have one person on the till at a time, who also makes the coffees as people order it. If there are a few people in front of you the queue can take a long time. The people working there are lovely though.

We visited this place and was greeted and had to place an order at the counter because its not a sit down with wait staff. Just one lady doing everything. The eggs were not fully cooked and the avocado toast is just 2 avocado slices on bread. We also had pancakes and some green fried tomatoes Benedict and some fresh orange juice

I ordered the ultimate seafood and grits, and had to send it back for the first time because the grits were To watery, but when they remade it, it came out much better. But definitely, the highlight of my experience was Miss Cassandra, my waitress, who had the best energy, and made sure I felt like a very welcome guest!! I wasn’t having the best morning, and her energy completely lifted me up!! God bless her!!
