"A short hop from the looming socialist architecture of Alexanderplatz in the heart of Berlin-Mitte, this discreet luxury hotel complex is ensconced within a former Communist KGB office. Not that there’s anything remotely "Ost" about the bright, modern apartments and suites. Decorated with a minimalist, all-white aesthetic and equipped with writing desks, open bathrooms with rain showers, and fully fitted kitchenettes, they’re more catwalk than comrade. The accommodations are all apartments and suites rather than rooms, ranging from 30 square meters to a whopping 160 square meters."

Hotel check in an finding the place was really easy. Really nice that there is a restaurant and deli connected, and even though we didn't use the restaurant, the deli food was lovely just a bit on the pricey side, but was not a massive problem. We stayed on the fourth floor in a room that was well equipped for us. We were only there for 3 nights so we didn't use the kitchen but it looked well equipped as good for if you were looking to make a simple meal. I do agree with others saying that the room is definitely suited for a couple, due to the location of the shower and the glass there. It was a really lovely shower, didn't change temperature mid shower and was a good pressure, easy to use. The only problem I would say is that the step leading up to the shower got absolute soaked due to the shower. The bed was lovely and big, and very comfortable, as someone who is very particular about pillows, I had a really good experience. Wasn't a problem for us as the weather wasn't the best but there was only duvets, which during a warmer time may have been harder to manage. TV worked great, well equipped with Netflix and other channels. Lovely balcony which was a good surprise and things like the safe, hair dyer etc were easy to use. The amenities room was a great addition. Moving onto the cleanliness, everything was great in terms of being cleaned down etc, however probably about 2 hours before we were due to leave, my boyfriend found a pair of male boxers and a sock tucked in the corner under the safe. We assumed they were from the previous guest and the had been missed, which I understand things happen but was really not nice to see. That was literally the only main issue that we had with the place and it was only the last day so luckily it didn't ruin the trip, just maybe needs a bit more attention to detail, which I understand can be hard in a almost staff less hotel. All in all, it was a lovely hotel and was a good place to stay, in a great location I would definitely come back here and recommend it.

Our check-in experience was very modern—we weren’t expecting a fully self-service process with no front desk staff, but it worked smoothly. You check in yourself and make your own key, which was a unique and convenient experience. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. The shower and sink with a view into the bedroom was an unexpected feature, but we actually really liked it. Large windows throughout the room offered a stunning view of the TV Tower, which was a definite highlight. We also enjoyed the location—especially the great Kebab place right on the corner. The staff at both lobby bars were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our stay. The in-room coffee was excellent, and overall, the location couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a modern, stylish hotel in a great spot!

Checkin was easy, using a tablet at the front desk instead of speaking to someone. Activating the cards was a bit annoying and took multiple attempts. Room was nice and modern but layout of the facilities was frustrating. Having the sink in the communal area instead of in the toilet made privacy difficult. There were a few ants in the "dressing room" area of the room. Restaurant prices were very high for what looked like small portions. Cafe attached to it was nice, coffee was ok but small selection of pastries. Essentials room on the -1 floor was really really good. Being able to get spare toilet roll and towels was handy. Ironing station and washing equipment also worked really well. Last thing which was very off-putting was it seems we could hear the drainage from other rooms toilets, so every flush of the chain we'd hear water trickling and it was quite loud.

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at the Lux 11 hotel in Mitte, Berlin. It is a lovely hotel and we loved our stay from start to finish. The self check in process is easy and quite fun with staff there to assist if there are any problems. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. The hotel is in a great location and close to U-Bahn stations at Alexanderplatz and Rosa Luxemburgplatz. Trams and S-Bahn also very close.||The staff were all so friendly and helpful in the cafe lounge, bar and restaurant - it would be hard to find a better team. Unusually we ate in the hotel restaurant on two evenings - we had to go back a second time it was so good and the chef and his small team were friendly, helpful and creative. The cocktails and wines were also very enjoyable.||There are good dining and shopping options close to the hotel as well. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation and look forward to a return visit when we come back to Berlin.

Very clean room |There is modern way of checking in because there’s no reception it’s all electronic but it’s easy to do.|At the ground floor, there is a restaurant and a place to have breakfast .|very close by to everything you want to see in Berlin. It’s not far from Alexander Platz so if you come by plane, you can directly take a subway from the sirport yo Alexander Platz station and a walk to your hotel, it’s about 1 km. There is a kitchenette in the room. You can get pan’s and clean towels from the first floor.|There is also a safe in the room, hair dryer, kitchen cutlery

First time in Berlin and we were very impressed with this hotel. ||The location was perfect as it is a short walk away from bars and restaurants and the hotel itself was impressive. ||The room was very comfortable and big, however I personally am not a fan of the shower being next to the bed and only a piece of glass between the shower and bed. It can be uncomfortable having a shower and not being behind a door. ||I would definitely stay here again and would love to visit again

Great location, stylish room – with a few quirks. I recently stayed at Lux 11 and overall had a great experience. The location is excellent — right near Alexanderplatz on a beautiful, lively street. The Superior Room offered a nice balance of style and comfort, with some great amenities: a small kitchen area (fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine) and a spacious balcony that felt really atmospheric, especially in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable with quality bedding, and the room was well-insulated from outside noise, which made for a restful sleep. I also appreciated the high ceilings, solid climate control, and fast internet connection. There are plenty of power outlets (a small but very welcome detail), and the hotel has a laundry room (with 2 types of washing detergent pods) where you can wash and iron your clothes — very practical for longer stays. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. That said, a few things struck me as a bit odd. The shower area isn't enclosed, so there's very little privacy if you're sharing the room. The toilet is positioned right behind the headboard, which might not be to everyone's taste. Kitchen equipment was limited: some cutlery was missing and there were no pans to cook with. The lighting system was a bit overcomplicated, and while the TV was a smart model, it lacked Chromecast or easy streaming options. Also worth noting: there are no actual wardrobes, which makes unpacking tricky. Lastly, the courtyard bar sometimes hosts parties, so you might hear music from there in the evenings. Despite these quirks, I’d definitely consider staying again. It’s a stylish place with a fantastic location and thoughtful touches — just be aware of its more unconventional design choices.

We will always stay here when in Berlin. Location is excellent, rooms are great (we had a balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard), beds are comfortable, AC is quiet, coffee in the bar is delicious. Loved every minute of it!
