"7 Star Bar and Grill, known for its sci-fi themed events, is set to reopen in downtown Campbell at 400 East Campbell Avenue. The bar, owned by Paul and Marya Cunha, will feature a 'robust menu' and continue its tradition of fandom-themed events." - Dianne de Guzman

I've been coming here for a couple years now. It's always a great time at LVLup. Every drink is pretty great and scrimshaw on tap! Lots of retro games and newer games upstairs at AFK. Clean atmosphere and good people. The food menu isn't large but it's quality. I accidentally left my packback on a chair inside when i left and they kindly put it in a safe place for me when i called in about it. An all around awesome place!!

Lively video game and gastropub combination. Plenty of communal tables with stacks of board games on them. Pinball machines and electronic video games. A great place to bring your family for an evening or possibly a birthday party. Bar serves a large selection of cocktails, beer and wine with some drinks available in a larger size called a LVL Up. kids are welcome until 9:00 p.m., then the clientele goes to strictly 21 and up.

The moment I walked in and saw the glowing lights of pinball machines and arcade games, the cute BB-8 balloon, the arcade Mario-style paint decor, and board games on the tables I knew I was in the right place. Truly a "level up" from your typical gastropub! You pick up a menu, stroll up to order at the bar and either leave your tab open or close it out. They have various seasonal foods and sophisticated takes on bar fare, along with nerdy cocktails. Take your number, have a seat, maybe play some games while you wait. They serve all food on sustainable plates, and you grab your own silverware, water, and napkins. Bus yourself or wait for them to come by. Your choice! If you didn't bring change, don't fret! They have machines that will gladly take your bills for your enjoyment. I'm not much of a pinball or arcade fan but for some reason I especially enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone in the fun, bustling environment here. They even had classics like Tron and Pac-Man, along with more up-to-date arcade games that play 10. My best scores were on their Lord of the Rings game... #forgondor No complaints here, linger or eat and run, your choice.

A neat little space that really crams in the entertainment. A surprising amount of kids under 10 on a Friday night considering it is a gastropub and group bar crawls has started. Families cleared out closer to 8 however. The staff is friendly and actively takes care of the space. Seating is a little weird in some spots but it still feels homey. Food is a bit expensive but a nice treat. A nice variety of games that the prices aren't jacked up on. I hope the variety on tap grows and a cider option is offered in the future. I can definitely see this being an after work hangout.

A barcade with tons of game options and good food! Overall I'd say the vibe is more centered around gaming vs. drinking, unlike other barcades like Emporium in SF. The mac and cheese is delicious. The original mac and cheese might sound basic compared to the rest of the fully loaded options but it is definitely worth ordering. There are 2 levels - the bottom level has arcade games (pinball, mario kart, racing games, big buck hunter, killer queen etc.) and a seating area, and the 2nd level has an area for renting a console or PC and playing with friends. The arcade games take quarters and there's a machine to convert your bills to quarters. You can also find board games you can play for free. There's also a small collectibles store on the 2nd level (called The Retro Fix) with lots of cool action figures and trinkets but they have different operating hours than the barcade. One downside is that the cocktails are underwhelming. They have fun names like "over 9000" or "princess peach punch" but the drinks themselves are pretty mediocre, much more on the sugary side. Overall a great spot definitely worth the trip if you're in the south bay!

Newer spot in DT Campbell that took over the old Campbell brewing spot. Full reno job inside to an upscale-chic palm springsy vibe. Great new option in campbell for late night lounge with drinks & food, or for the happy hour. Food was all pretty good including the crudo. Will be back to try more raw bar + mixed drinks

I went in to the soft opening on Saturday with my family. The extensive selection of games were in good to great repair with only a sloppy joystick on Simpsons and a bad flipper on one of the pinball games that the manager assured would be repaired promptly. Food was scrumptious and the house cocktails were tasty and strong, my favorite being the “Pong”. The service was on point with a friendly staff and the facilities clean and tidy. The arrangement of the seating and tables needs to be adjusted to improve traffic and comfort for playing the games, and all told the experience was enjoyable.

This is a great place for a first date. They have great drinks and food, the place is clean, and there are so many awesome games to play! I want to take friends here soon because it is a lot of fun. I wish I knew about it sooner. It is hard to see from the street. The atmosphere is NOT like David and Buster's, it is nicer than that. :)
