"That restaurant recently closed in Palo Alto, where it’s operated since 2011. LYFE Kitchen, founded by former, apparently reformed McDonald’s executives with celebrity chef backing in the form of Art Smith and Tal Ronnen, has shuttered many of its restaurants in recent years, and the Palo Alto business was actually the first in the chain." - Caleb Pershan

Healthy options however taste can be hit or miss. Enjoyed the flat bread but salads were okay. Pretty chill ambiance. Good beer collection.

LYFE is a staple when I come to Palo Alto. I just love the ambiance in here with all of the greenery and natural lighting. The menu is super healthy and there are many veggie friendly options. I recommend the quinoa bowl with tofu on top. This place does get crowded so plan accordingly. You order at the counter and then sit down with your number.

This place had surprisingly good and healthy food at decent prices. The coffee rubbed pork was excellent, but the flatbread less so. I also appreciated the choice of craft beers and healthy smoothies. Lots of tables were unclean. Recommended for a casual night out with health-minded friends. Not recommended for a date night, tourists or any non-casual event.

Downgrading my original 4 star review to 2. Service was poor (very understaffed). It took a while to find a table that was clean; asking for plates took a while (they ran out and gave bowls instead); couldn't answer questions about the dishes ). The sweet potato fries were essentially soggy pieces of sweet potatoes - not crispy at all and very tiny side cup.

Heard great things about this lace but the potatoes were burnet and the chicken old and tough! Complained about it but he manager did not even try to fix it! ...... Brian, the night manager came over and brought some desserts! Great come back!

I love this chain; super health conscious with high food quality, no additives, and reasonable prices. This location has a fun cozy atmosphere, while still having plenty of seating for big parties and quite dinners for two. They have a great variety of dishes, and you generally are able to make the options vegan, pescaterian, or with chicken or beef. They have a wide variety if drinks from super healthy to alcoholic; just don't expect fresh pressed juice. It's counter order, table delivery and the staff is very helpful.
