Service was the main reason for this review.
We came in around 1:30 pm for lunch after seeing the lunch specials advertised on their website (salad + pizza combo for $20 and a $10 cheese pizza). Before ordering, we confirmed with our waitress that the lunch specials were still available, and she said yes. We ordered a chopped salad with a margherita pizza, along with a cheese pizza.
We were served a Caesar salad instead of the chopped salad. While that wasn’t a big deal and we didn’t complain, it was the first mix-up. The pizzas were decent—good crispy crust on the bottom—but nothing standout or “best in town.”
After finishing our meal, we asked for a cookie and then received the check. The cheese pizza was charged at $16 instead of the advertised $10. While the cookie ($3) wasn’t listed, the total was still higher than it should have been. When we asked about the cookie, the waitress claimed the chef had burned it, which didn’t seem accurate since we were seated directly in front of the kitchen—it appeared it simply hadn’t been rung in.
After about a 15-minute wait, the cookie finally arrived. The waitress then took our card and, without notifying us or providing an updated check, added the cookie charge—despite us already being overcharged for the pizza. The lack of communication and transparency really left a sour taste.
Lastly, neither bathroom has a changing table. We had to change our baby in the booth, which was far from ideal, and I can’t imagine trying to manage that with a toddler.
Overall, the food was fine, but the service and billing issues made the experience disappointing.
