Best Pool Food and Drink in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"This mid-century modern hangout at the Rise Uptown Hotel executes cocktails at a level far beyond the usual pool bar. Bartenders utilize split bases to achieve complexity (the Dole Whipped uses two rums), artfully balance sweetness (the mojito has just enough), and spotlights spirits like mezcal and tequila rather than concealing them behind other ingredients. The pool feels intimate and secluded, an urban oasis. A thoughtful, Southwestern-forward food menu includes gems like barbacoa fries, corn ribs, and Arizona cheese crisps." - Chris Malloy

First off, shout out to Luis who is incredible! We had a great pool day at Lylo. The vibes are amazing, the daybeds are perfection and the food is yummy. Service was a bit spotty but it seemed there was only one server on a slow Sunday so that may have been why.

I would not recommend Lylo Swim Club to families. My family and I were asked to leave because the staff claimed the kids were “disturbing guests,” even though they were not doing anything disruptive. When we questioned it, the manager changed the story and said it was a 21+ swim club. That’s misleading, since both their website and the sign at the door clearly state children are welcome as long as they are with an adult—which they were. The whole experience left a very bad impression. The way it was handled felt discriminatory, especially since most of the other guests were white, and we did not feel treated equally. If children are not actually welcome, the business should be honest about it instead of advertising otherwise.

Great atmosphere once you’re in the pool area. At the gate, we had sandwiches with us and loudly the bartender (Thursday Feb 20) said “no outside food- go eat it on the event lawn…” Meanwhile, he could’ve at least greeted us nicely and maybe considered that we have food allergies- which I do (very gluten sensitive). They obviously want to serve you their very marked up food… their chips and salsa are NOT good- the salsa is very odd tasting and pureed. Hotel guests are also promised a free cocktail at check in from 4-6 daily. There’s no signs for it at the bar/pool area and apparently after we ordered drinks and assumed they were free… it had to be a specific one. Please tell guests this ahead of time!!? Thankfully the bartender from Monday (Feb 17) gave us our drinks free. Our servers were decent. Please work on your hospitality and food options for gluten free people!

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I came into Lylo from a previous good experience a few years ago just for it to be the complete opposite experience this time around. This place is dirty, the food was not worth the high price point, and not to mention the staff is not very present (literally, the guy bartender seemed like he was on drugs). The day bed we reserved was filthy and the bartenders ignored us while they just chatted with eachother but then when it came time to pay, the guy told us he took off some of the drinks just to ensure we tip the girl bartender well. The pool itself was disgusting, the water looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while so we didn’t even get in. The cushions smelled like mold and the food is just awful. When I came to lylo the last time, the staff was so attentive, the atmosphere was fun but now it’s a waste of time and money.

Had a staff party here, want to send a HUGE thank you to the Manager Daniel who made sure everything was top notch for my staff. We had a small confusion with our server, but Daniel made it a priority to resolve any and every concern. The experience Lylo provides is in a class of its own. From the food and drink selection, that has custom cocktails and incredible food, to the comfortable day beds to lounge by the pool, everything was amazing. We will definitely be back for another staff party in the future as this was the best one yet. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend planning your next event or lounge day here!

Google
Reservations were made for pool side loungers for 4 people, 2 weeks in advance only to be *upgraded* without knowing to a day bed where it’s fully shaded. Manager and staff were unable to accommodate us on the loungers because they were all reserved even though the confirmation email clearly said we paid for loungers. Very unfortunate, especially for the price, when you don’t get what you pay for and trying to enjoy the sun.

Vibes that took me and my gorgeous date out of Arizona for a couple hours. Tasty drinks, really good food, and the pool was perfect + our server Trey made sure it was a 5-Star experience without a doubt.

I was recently here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. When we first arrived, the place seemed nice and the staff was pleasant. The website and manager told us kids were allowed so we didn’t see a problem taking our kid’s ages 9-13. When we first got in the pool it was full of leaves and cloudy. I also did not care for the music but it wasn’t a big deal. As soon as we ordered food and drinks, the hostess (who by the way appeared to be on drugs or drunk because he was slurring his words ) came up to us to tell us that some of the guests were complaining that the kids were splashing. We had our eyes on our kids the entire time and they never splashed anyone once. After that the hostess goes around to the other guests and I see him talking to them while looking at us several times. He comes back a second time to tell us that now all of the guests have complained that the kid’s were splashing. At this point the kids weren’t even in the pool, they were laying on the filthy day beds that we had reserved. We tell him that the kids aren’t even in the pool and he leaves again. He comes back a third time and tells us we have to go. He said the reason was “people pay for this 21+ experience and they don’t feel comfortable hanging out with kids around” he also said that he was refunding all the pool guests for the inconvenience, yet we didn’t get refunded anything after getting kicked out. We are always getting compliments about how well behaved our kids are and I would understand if they were splashing and annoying people, but they weren’t. It was very embarrassing to get kicked out in front of so many people especially for no reason. If they don’t want kids there they should flat out say “no kids allowed”!

Yelp
I'd stopped by Lylo earlier this year just to check it out and was surprised to feel like I was in a tropical location hidden away off Camelback. Such a cute place! I came back with some friends for a pool day and we reserved some loungers. We weren't sure how long we'd really stay as it was a hot day, but we ended up staying through our reservation. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but our server (Michael?? Maybe? We did learn he was originally from Egypt) was exceptional! They'd just switched to a new menu and we loved the guacamole trio and chips and salsa - though the chicharonne guacamole was a bit too meaty for us. We had a few other snacks and everything was tasty! The Dole whip is the standout drink but also have to shout out the Shotski -- shots attached to a ski that 4 of you take at once. Cheesy and a little random? Yes. Hilariously funny in a pool? Yes. They also served non-alcoholic drinks like iced tea in these giant tall glasses (actually plastic maybe) that made them more fancy. Parking was easy! It was easy to stay in the shade in the pool. Parking here

Yelp
I stayed at the hotel this Mon-Wed in July. I picked this hotel for the pool. There weren't more than 6 people at the pool at any time but that's to be expected on a weekday. They check your bags at the pool entrance. You cannot bring in outside food or drink. Hotel guests get 2 free drinks (one per person) at their HH. The HH location changes between Lylo and the rooftop bar depending on the day. I tried some fruit flavored mojito on Tuesday and it was awful. It was so sweet, that even when you replace half of it with water, it was still too sweet. I also wasn't sure if there was any alcohol in this at all. Couldn't taste it, only the sugar. The chicken asada skewers do not have enough chicken. The cucumbers and tomatoes were so salty, they were inedible. We covered our fries while we went to our room and left them on our seats (with all our stuff still there). They threw the fries out without asking us. I love that they have misters and alot of shade in the pool. The servers were very attentive and nice.

Yelp
Went for some afternoon drinks! The atmosphere is beautiful and so cute! The drinks are so good! However, in the middle of October we did not expect to get big my numerous mosquitoes! We have a total of 5 mosquito bites for an hour visit. Service was normal, doing her side work but attentive enough.
google avatar

Sydney M.

Yelp
Had such a great time here! I went on Tuesday so it was very chill but still a great vibe! Emily was the waitress and she did an amazing job at making sure I was always good! Music was great! The drinks were phenomenal and very reasonably priced for a pool scene. Try the key lime pie drink-sooo good!! Everyone around me was getting the dole whip drink-also looked tasty! BlackBerry mojito was great! As far as food I only had the spicy salmon rice cakes but oh em gee! They were great! I hear the gauc is a must as well!-next time!

Yelp
This was my second visit! This time I came with my husband to enjoy the ambiance and some tacos!! He really enjoyed the vibe of the place and the tacos! Our server was friendly and we really loved the Dole pineapple goodie for a refreshing dessert!! We will definitely return!!

Yelp
Lylo Swim Club is a tropical bar serving up Sonoran flavors. Located at the Rise Uptown hotel in Uptown Phoenix, it serves as a fun escape from the bustle around it. Grab a seat at the bar, relax at a table or luxuriate on a daybed at the pool. We tried the trio of tacos and chose the chicken tinga as the tastiest. The Carne asada fries were the hit though! They were covered in flavor and a large enough portion to share. In keeping with the tropical theme we sipped mango and passion fruit margs along with our bites. Food is nothing that's going to wow you and service is a bit slow but it's a perfect spot for a date night out. I do regret not trying the boozy dole whip as it looked delicious and friends have raved about it. Afterwards we headed up to Don Woods' Say When bar on the rooftop of the hotel (Check out my next post). You can even pick up a paleta in the shop located near checkin. Also, be sure to pop in nextdoor to one of my faves: Changing Hands bookshop and First Draft bar.

Yelp
A group of 12 of us celebrated a birthday here. We had an amazing time! The pool was perfectly temperate (where else can you have a pool party in early January?) and the area itself very pretty. The drinks were fantastic, the Dole whips are definite must-haves! Above all though, our server Karina made our day the best ever, she was attentive and extremely kind. Highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
Indeed an unique place and a great premium experience. Tried food and drinks here and it was great overall. You get the vibe of sitting near the ocean and the tropical theme dominates at this place. Great outdoor seating and the service was fast as well. I will definitely return to this place since this is very near to my office in downtown. Prices are very reasonably as well and for the experience, it is worth it.

Yelp
*BEWARE* you will be scammed. A group of 5 of us came and wanted to enjoy a nice, local pool with some food and drinks. We got immediately greeted with a hefty price tag of $55 per person to enter. Whatever, we were there and just decided to pay it. Had a nice little day bed set up and the rest of the site was nice as well. Service however was mediocre, one of the girls was great all other staff was rude and inattentive. Ordered some food and alcoholic drinks, those prices were fine, food was also fine nothing great but really we weren't looking for fine dining. Our friend ordered an N/A dole whip and was charged $12! Finally, check out time BAM a $900+ bill was given to us! The food and drinks were properly charged however, they automatically added 20% gratuity to the bill which included our resort fees! So our high price pool use fee of $55 was also charged a 20% fee! WOW WOW WOW! I've been to luxurious out of state rooftop pools and clubs and have never been ripped off like this! Servers & front gate staff never mentioned auto gratuity would be added, so BEWARE! What a shame. I've seen other reviewers mentioning different prices on the entrance fee (our $55 was the highest yet) I guess there's a total lack of consistency and transparency here. Won't be back.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for the longest time but didn't have a chance until last night. My friend and I went after work for their happy hour. We got the guacamole trio and the dole whipped drink to start. Both were very good. My favorite of the guac trio was the one with pomegranate seeds and pepitas on top. It added a nice crunch and sweetness. The dole whipped drink was very good. Would be amazing on a hot Phoenix night. I got the carne fries and my friend got three of their tacos. We both enjoyed them very much. The atmosphere is fun and "instagramable". The wait staff was helpful and attentive. They had plenty of heaters since it can get cold at night in January.
google avatar

Stephanie O.

Yelp
Thank you Yelp Elite for setting up this awesome event. The place was pretty easy to find and there is a parking lot nearby. There are misters and plenty of seating. I had a mojito which was good. We started off with the trio of guac: one had bacon on top and one had pomegranate seeds. They were all tasty and the chips were nice and crunchy. The tacos were good, I enjoyed the al pastor, asada and chicken. We sat at the bar and the bartender was efficient and friendly. Great experience overall!
google avatar

Kaelyn G.

Yelp
We unfortunately had a very poor experience here. The service was extremely lacking. We sat at the bar and the entire bar top was sticky and dirty. The bartender was on her phone often and seemed quite apathetic. Also never cleaned the bar top. The chips were cold and stale tasting. The salsa seemed cheap and way too spicy. Our waters were refilled with room temp water without any ice. I'm sure this place is fine as a pool side service, but I would not recommend it for dinner or a sit down meal.
google avatar

Christine D.

Yelp
Service is amazing here! Great ambiance and music playing throughout the day, and food and drinks were on point. Highly recommend reserving either a poolside lounger or daybed if you can. They also have patio loungers as an option, but they are a little bit further away from the pool and away from the music and party. Great place to have your birthday or small bachelorette party.
google avatar

Daisha W.

Yelp
Ok me and the girls need to set up a day here by the pool ! I had the best drink ever!!! The dole whipped had me whipped that's for sure lol. Proceed with caution on that sneaky devil. I also had their tacos and guacamole platter all of which were very flavorful and fresh! All the servers were super attentive and helpful and the vibes and ambiance is unmatched!
google avatar

Meghan Z.

Yelp
Lylo definitely did not disappoint! I stopped here to lay out and relax post Coachella and it was the perfect place to do so. The pool day pass is $30 which is reasonable. They had really cozy loungers and cabana which offered shade if you wanted. The service was decent around the pool but bar staff was a little rude. As for the food, it was mediocre but I feel like you come to Lylo for the amenities and drinks rather than food. They have a decent happy hour for food and offered a great drink menu. Will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
This spot is great for afterwork unwounding or meeting your favorite person. The food was delicious. Try the salmon ceviche... spicy and filled with flavor. The pool is open year round. There is plenty of seating at the bar or in the pool area. Nice ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! I love the decor and the outdoor setting. I was so pleasantly surprised with the food and drinks too! Dole Whip was delicious-- a cocktail dessert. The margarita also had great flavor. Definitely order the carne asada fries! And the tortillas are handmade which you can immediately tell as soon as you bite in-- and they make great chips! Our waiter was running most of the tables and kept up very well. We will eventually go back and possibly pay for the day pass for the pool too!

Yelp
Lyle Swim Club has been in my list to check out for a long time and I finally had a chance to swing by. I went after work on a normal Tuesday night and this place was empty. We had a great server who greeting us warmly and provided attentive service during our experience. The food itself was very overpriced for the average food quality that was delivered. The margaritas we ordered were watered down and 3 Berry Daiquiri had no flavor. I was overall disappointed in the food and drinks. I will say the decor and seating options are cute and very instagrammable.
google avatar

Anna G.

Yelp
I was shocked how much I enjoyed Lylo. I didn't buy pool access, but it looks nice enough. The dole whip was FANTASTIC and definitely boozy! And the bartenders were super sweet, answering all of our questions and even letting us try some leftovers of another blended cocktail. Very Miami vibe. I'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Lylo Swim Club is the outdoor pool/bar area of the Rise Uptown Hotel. Note that parking in the front is quite limited. I did notice that hotel guests can drive all the way around the property and find parking in the back. Note that the Rise Hotel also has a small popsicle bar and coffee place too. This is one of those places where they have you pay extra just for the outdoor pool atmosphere. And it is a very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere indeed; not only can you swim in the pool or chill in the small jacuzzi, there's also beds you can reserve if you wanna just relax by the pool. Due to all these amenities, the food is pretty much twice as much as any sit-down restaurant. I ordered the skirt steak which cost $30.74 (includes tax and tip) and it had as much food as any other Mexican restaurant. The food itself was above average and the service was amiable, but slightly slow. Due to this being outside, it was annoying have to constantly swing at the flies trying to land in my food.

Nicholas S.

Yelp
In from out of state, very chill, very good food, and the best service from Angel. She was very friendly, very attentive, and makes you feel very welcome. Will definitely be coming back just because of her alone also chicken tinga tacos are to die for
google avatar

Ariana R.

Yelp
Have been here a handful of times to get tan & swim! Tried their previous menu which was delicious but I also love their new menu! The carne asada fries and chips + guacamole were so filling and tasty. The salsa that came with the chips also tasted very authentic and a bit spicy! YUM. Staff is very helpful and patient! If you make it here gotta try the dole whip & go across the way to the lobby and get a paleta (ice cream) to cool off. The decor is so pretty, they also have some shade & misters!
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
I recently went here and I was a bit confused as to why the menu has been COMPLETELY changed. Lylo Swim Club was definitely unique with their distinct and original menu compared to other restaurants in the valley. Offering tasteful Hawaiian + Japanese/ Asian inspired dishes on the menu really made Lylo stand out in a great way since they offered what other places didn't. The atmosphere is still the same which was great. However their new menu is all Mexican dishes like a carne asada fries, aguachiles, tacos, etc. I'm sure there's more context to this new menu change that logistically improves the business(?). Either new owner/management or the fact that you can literally get Mexican food nearly on every block or even the many many authentic Mariscos in Arizona lol.... TLDR: the menu is no longer unique and the new menu is almost gentrified Mexican food. Being in Arizona, we have a already PLENTIFUL selection of authentic Mexican food that you can get from taquerias or mariscos already. Again, I'm sure there's more context behind this interesting business decision. Just know that all the original food you see pictured here and on social media is all discontinued since 2/13/2023. gg no re

Yelp
ANGEL IS A QUEEN !!! the best place i've ever been! the manager and angel are the sweetest and took care of our giant party. The drinks and the food were immaculate and i'm so excited to have found this place

Yelp
Great food, service, and ambiance! We went there for a friend's birthday and they were very attentive to our needs, recommending different drinks and shots, and always being available. It was such a great day. Thank you Angel and team for a wonderful day!
google avatar

Yelp
Tacos are on point (especially pastor) and the atmosphere is great. Cocktails could be better but if you're sitting by the pool they will taste better!
google avatar

Lysette ..

Yelp
Thank you YELP, for putting together another great event. I absolutely love coming to Lylo especially when the weather is amazing! It's outdoor sitting. I had the carne asada tacos they were beyond delicious, and tried 3 Berry Daiquiri, Dole Whipped and Market Mojito they were perfect spring/summer drink. The service was excellent our waitress gave the best recommendations. Highly recommended for a date night or just grabbing drinks with the girls.
google avatar

Taylor E.

Yelp
First off was super excited to finally have time to check out this place for myself. I was really looking forward to trying the Hawaiian/Japanese fusion menu and was definitely disappointed to see the menu had changed to Mexican food. I think as others have said we have so much Mexican food here in AZ and it's nice to find a place that has something a little different. Overall I found the food to be just ok we ordered carne asada fries to split and the famous dole whipped. The service is truly where this place is lacking. We sat at a table for quite a while until anyone greeted us and took our order. When we finally got our appetizer and by the time we finished, we wanted to order an entree but had wwaited so long we decided just to ask for the bill and find food elsewhere as we had a concert later that evening.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is great, but the service is above par! Friendly bartenders, awesome servers, and the pool is so clean and refreshing!

Yelp
The price increases at Lylo are ridiculous. In May 2023 (less than a year ago) it was $20 per person for a weekday daytime pass booked via ResortPass. Now it's $45 for the exact same thing. That's less than twice as much for a hotel with the same amenities and a smaller food menu than it had before. (For contrast, you can get a brow wax, gym access, a steam room, a sauna, a hot tub, a cold plunge, and a rooftop pool with food/drink service for $26 at LifeSpa just down the street.) Lylo also charged me $14 for a mocktail. (I ordered the tequila funshine, but virgin, as I have several times before.) Usually I am charged $7 for this because it's literally just lemon juice and ginger beer with a sprig of mint--no alcohol to pump up the price. When I mentioned this to the server, he said there's "wear and tear on their equipment, so they have to charge full price." What wear and tear results from pouring ginger beer and lemon juice into a glass? I'm sad to see Lylo/Rise resort to such outrageous money-grabbing. Previously, I enjoyed using this pool as it's just a few minutes away from home and therefore an easy way to relax on a day off. Now I'm disgusted at the way they treat the patrons that make them popular.
google avatar

Jennifer O.

Yelp
A friend and I were really excited to try Lylo because we love b&t. I have to say, we were a little disappointed. While the frozen piba colada was delicious, neither of us really cared for the dole whip cocktail (it's a cool idea but the shot of straight booze on the ice cream was too much for us). We liked the carne fries alright, but the food items we tried weren't super amazing. I do think they have a new menu now, so it may be worth another try. The extra star is for ambiance. The idea of a pool club is a cool one and it definitely felt like we were somewhere with a vibe. Anyway, it's worth a try.

Jerald W.

Yelp
Guys! You have to check out Lylo swim club! Amazingggg food, nice vibe and outstanding customer service! Emily is super awesome, she was sweet and very attentive! Shes your go to girl when you check this place out!

Yelp
This is a pool-side bar that is part of the Rise Uptown Hotel. It is mostly outside with pool side seating, bar seating, and a covered dining area with heaters and ceiling fans on the roof. It was a cool day when I was there and the heaters they have put off some good heat and kept me warm. The place has a limited food menu and a decent selection of signature cocktails. They serve some awesome tiki style drinks. My favorites. The menu has some Hawaiian favorites such as Spam musibi, huli huli chicken, poke, and wontons. I ordered the Katsu Chicken Sandwich which came with fries. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food. The sandwich had a unique taste and was pretty good. I was like a kid in a candy store when it came to the signature cocktails. After a brief deliberation, I decided to start with a Dole Whip. But this was adult Dole Whip and not for kids. Later on in my meal I got an Opposable Rums. They were both savory and I enjoyed every sip. The Dole whip was drizzled in booze and had booze in its center. The place has parking available in its private lot, but I am not sure that you if you can park there or have to be a registered hotel guest with paid parking. The city's train does stop right down the street from the joint so taking public transportation here is relatively easy. All in all, i enjoyed my meal (and drinks) here. They have a very chill. tropical vibe. There is tons of seating available and the staff is friendly for the most part. I recommend checking this place out and hope to make it back here real soon.
google avatar

Kristen S.

Yelp
Vibes are high at this spot. Truly feels like a hidden gem in the city. You'd never know it's right on camelback, seems tucked away. Delicious cocktails, flavor packed menu, street tacos were juicy and loved all the bartenders suggestions!
google avatar

Yelp
Lylo in Phoenix offers a vibrant ambiance and boasts a staff that goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. While the culinary offerings are modest and won't dazzle food connoisseurs, the drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are delicious and expertly crafted. Although I didn't have the chance to sit in the pool area, the option to rent a cabana looks like a fun and indulgent experience. Overall, Lylo is the perfect spot for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere, good drinks, and friendly service, even if the food doesn't steal the show.
google avatar

Autumn W.

Yelp
We spent the day here for friends birthday on the comfortable day bed for 6! Service was great and attentive, we felt well taken care of. Food and drinks were excellent and portion sizes were generous. The carne asada fries and the Solera cocktail are MUSTS!! The DJ Chris was awesome, I truly hope Lylo brings him back often. The Lylo is a perfect spot for a day date or girls day, and I do plan to to come back. I did remove a star because the pool was not super clean, lots of bugs, lime wedges from the day before, and other trash. I also hope they do consider ending the policy of not outside water bottles, I would be more than happy to bring in my empty emotional support water bottle to stay hydrated to my comfort level.
google avatar

Mikayla K.

Yelp
We came here to enjoy the pool and I'm SO glad we did! We relaxed all day on one of the day beds which are spacious and so comfortable. We ordered food and drinks, all of which were amazing. The potstickers were delicious and filling and the crispy tuna rice cakes were a favorite as well! I loved the sbagliato drink. The whole experience was so relaxing and despite being right off the main road, it feels private.
google avatar

Lois B.

Yelp
This place was 5stars for me until they changed the food director and added those tasteless carne asada fries. I still like coming here to lounge around and relax but man the food is so disappointing now. Dole Whip is really delicious tho! Hopefully they keep the drink menu the same. Don't fix what isn't broken :(
google avatar

Yelp
We have been here a few times. It's such a lovely bar by the pool, gives us that 'vacation' vibe on a regular day. The new menu is okay, but we do miss items from the old menu. The drinks are to die for! You will enjoy sitting at the bar and chatting with servers and the other visitors. Even when it is crowded we get great service, and all the fun pool people are warm and inviting. This is the perfect vibe for CenPho!

Yelp
This poolside bar is next to the Rise Uptown in Phoenix. I stopped in for drinks and a quick bite one evening and enjoyed the fun atmosphere. They have a nice selection of tropical cocktails. The food consists of Hawaiian-Japanese influenced light bites. Even though I didn't get in, the pool looked refreshing and inviting. They have a foosball table at the other end of the pool. This place looks like it would be a lot of fun on the weekends. There's nothing like hanging at the pool with a cocktail in this AZ heat. For food, I tried the Huli Huli Chicken Bowl and some musubi. I'm a big musubi fan and enjoyed my little snack. Being a Disney fan, I got a Dole Whipped. It had a nice little kick to it. Even though I came on a slow night, the bartenders were fun and engaging and made this a fun experience. It's nice to have a little taste of Hawaii here in the desert.

Yelp
I attended the swim club because I was staying at the hotel its connected to. I started with a dinner here which consisted of some absolutely delicious tacos. I believe I got a few chicken and a steam, as well as some delicious elote. Everything was great. The cocktails were super yummy I got a frozen berry one that I just loved. Then I headed back down for a daybed at the pool club the next morning. And this was the most relaxing amazing place to spend my day. I tried many more of the delicious cocktails on the menu, including more of the triple berry frozen cocktail, the dole whip and many others. We also got a side of fries and more yummy elote. The DJ was great, the server was attentive, the pool was clean. And the daybed was very comfortable. I will definitely be back next summer.

Yelp
The tropical drinks were the best part, we enjoyed the "Coupette Colada", "Dole Whipped", and "3-Berry Daiquiri." The service was a bit slow but friendly. Food was okay. The "Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Cakes" was our favorite. The "Togarashi Fries" with Korean bbq beef was too salty. The "Veggie Musubi" was underwhelming. And the "Garlic Salmon bowl" had excellent cuts of salmon but not enough of the other ingredients.

Yelp
Lylo, a UK slang for pool float, changes the perception of poolside bar, with tropical libations at this midcentury modern space, designed with a lot of vacation vibes, boozy cocktails such as the Dole Whip soft serve ice cream blended with rum, the Sorbet Bellinis or the Lylo Splash Bowl (which serves 4-6) are sure to refresh and delight you during the hot summer months. The food menu, which has been Pan-Asian since its inception about two years ago, recently received a refresh, with a more approachable Sonoran inspired poolside menu. Whereas the menu once featured spam musubi, now there are tacos! With tortillas made from scratch, tacos range from Al Pastor to Chicken Tinga. On your visit, start with the Guacamole Trio appetizer including a classic guacamole, chicharron, pomegranate and pepita. For a lighter and brighter option, try the Shrimp Aguachile Verde with serrano chili and lime sauce. I also loved the Salmon Ceviche, bathed in a chili-soy vinaigrette, topped with crunchy jicama, red onion, jalapeno and chips. For entrees, I recommend the Shrimp a La Diabla, with juicy and plump shrimp bathed in a citrus chili marinade. On the taco menu, guests can select three tacos for $15. We enjoyed the Chicken Tinga, Pastor, and Avocado. For a sweet treat, we loved the churros with a horchata whipped crema. Happy hour runs Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. All beers and well spirits are $1 off. The Caipirinha, Margarita and Mojito are all just $6.50, and you can personalize them with flavors of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, peach, mango, passionfruit or pineapple. With Resort Pass, enjoy a day pass to the pool for $10, a pool chair for $20, or a daybed for $80 (rates are dynamic and subject to change). Please contact hotel for further info, or refer to resort pass website.

Yelp
Loved it here! Not many people on a Tuesday. Wasn't sure if we could have saw but we asked and you do need to make reservations online and pay to go swimming. $40 for day time and $25 for night swimming. The food was interesting. My burger was salty and spicy. My fries were really salty. Got a Pina colada and it was good. Also got the dole whip and it was really good!

Yelp
Cool place. Was hoping to like it a bit more than I did but still had a good time. I'd like to come back during the night swim hours due to the heat. First of all, the pool is a bit smaller and shallower than I thought it would be. It didn't feel overcrowded, but it's def lacking any space to actually swim, it's more for wading with your drink. Service was a bit lackluster. There was 1-2 servers for the whole pool so it takes a while to get orders in and get your refreshments. Drinks took longer than food. Food itself was about 3/5. Not bad but lacking any distinction. Ordered mushroom quesadilla (best item of the bunch), salmon ceviche (not great), and guac (okay but boring). I wish I got to try the Asian menu that used to be here because you can get Mexican like this anywhere. Also a bit messy for the pool. Be aware they charge 20% gratuity automatically. Overall I'd probably come back and stick with mostly drinks and try some more of the menu.

Yelp
When friends or family come in from out of town, this place is always on my list of recommendations. I love the pool, the happy hour deals, and the star martini, but the crispy tuna rice cakes are my absolute favorite. I could come here every weekend, order the exact same thing, and not get sick of them. It's a fun place to order a few different things and share, because they have so many great appetizers. I like how you can typically get in here with no wait, even on a weekend. One thing to note is that they don't take cash. It's all outdoors, but they have shade and misters for when it's hot outside. There's decent parking but it's also close to the light rail. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!

Yelp
Come for the drinks, come for the food, come for the atmosphere. But you gotta come here! I indulged with a wonderful drink to start--the coupette colada. It was like starting with dessert. Yes, I'd have this again in a heartbeat. We all shared some fries that where wonderful (I didn't order them so don't remember the name but I would in the future for sure). Then the hubby and I shared a spicy tuna bowl which was really tasty. Next time, I'll try the salmon bowl as the waitstaff suggested. The spicy tuna was incredibly good though. What I also loved (besides their outdoor heaters, drinks and food) was the atmosphere. Sitting on a couch enjoying life as you sip on a fabulous drink and munch on some great food in a perfect environment.

Yelp
Came here for late night swim. Able to book reservations easily online. The pool & got tub were very clean. The facility has a nice bar and restaurant as apart of this social club. The decor is hip. Plenty of chairs, cabanas, and beds. Also has gaming area and shower setup. Check-in was easy. Upon verifying our reservation, we were given wristbands. Reservation included chair, parking, wifi access to pools and facilities. We were able to order food and drinks as soon as we arrived and picked our chairs. Our server was very good about staying on top of our needs. We were told by Say When staff what to order. I opted for Dole Whip. The best drink ever. I am sure this would hit even better if it was hot outside. For food we got the fries adding the Korean BBQ beef. We probably could of stop there but ordered the chicken sandwich. Sandwich has a good flavor with a peanut slaw. I would come back for those fries. We enjoyed both the pool and hot tub. For the night being 62° ...we were comfortable in both water sources. We ended up staying until 9pm and the night swim made for a good night sleep. Tip: bring bag to place wet clothes. I did not see this amenity being provided.

Yelp
Very cute and chill vibes. The pool needed to be heated very ice cold. The salsa/guac and chip very yummy snack. Pornstar martini very good. Caprini not the best but did its job.
