Lyon Part Dieu

Lyon Part-Dieu is the city’s primary railway hub and one of France’s busiest stations outside Paris. Situated in the La Part-Dieu business district, it offers extensive domestic and international connections, including TGV, Intercités, and TER services to destinations like Paris, Marseille, Geneva, and Milan.

Improved in recent years due to new, bright shopping area. Good new stores and overall the building has definitely improved. You will pay one euro to use the bathroom which is clean so consider that you are paying for cleanliness. There is a waiting room but they keep the door open so you can smell cigarette smoke wafting in.

It's beautiful train station, accessible through bus or tram. Quiet a busy station. Beautiful architecture and the small garden outside the station is beautiful. Had to take a quick look. Although the the station is fully labelled one need to be careful to get to his platform. I like the station with all the food stations.

The train station in Lyon, easy to access by public transportation

Had to change trains there and did not see any seating, only railings that everyone was using as a chair. Maybe there were some in another part of the station, but when your luggage doesn't have wheels you don't want to go exploring.

As we entered the train station entrance facing the Westfield building, we saw many ticket machines. There are many cafes and convenient stores. Monop daily is right in front of the tv signage area, so you can grab a coffee and croissant while waiting for the train. A coffee and croissant cost €3.10, good buy. There are high stools on both sides and a microwave oven for heating up pizza or bread 👍🏻 The station has escalators, staircase, and total 12 platforms, from A to L

Difficult to navigate there. I’m ok with that I have to pay to the toilet but it didn’t work. But the area next to the station is nice

It got better after the expansion renovation, but the bathroom is too far away.
