Lyon Street Steps

It is a very beautiful place that you have to visit if you come to San Francisco. It has a spectacular view where you can see Alcatraz Island, the Palace of Fine Arts, a good spot to take photos and if you are fit, going up and down the stairs will be a challenge for you. Going down the stairs and when you get to the bottom you will be able to find the school from the movie The Princess Diary and then you will find a French-style neighborhood with very pretty houses.

Beautiful and well maintained steps in a fancy 🤩 area of the city. Not too steep, an easy walk up.

Nice workout spot if you’re around and usually the weather is pretty good in this part of town. Looks extra scenic during cherry blossom season

Gorgeous view on a sunny day. Right on the edge of billionaire row, so I recommend walking eastward on Broadway where the top of the steps are to see those houses.

Great view of San Francisco toward Palace of Fine Arts, Marina and Marin. Oddly, street parking nearby seems easy ( Don't tell too many people! )

Great steps to run up and down for awesome views cardio. Just try to step out of your way so you don’t block the runners. Our Friend comes here to get the work out done and after just one run, I totally get it. One of the best views in SF. Beats anything at gym.

The place is great, not tourist and good for pictures. But the stair is huge, also the entrance of the park is right there, must go. At the end of the stairs you’ll see the Princess Diary’s school entrance.

Awesome place for a view and workout! Pacific Heights is a high end neighborhood, so you also run into these $10mm mansions dotting the street. On the hill you can see as far as the Palace of Fine Arts and the bay in the distance! Plenty of street parking too.
