Lyons Farmette

In our work as wedding photographers and filmmakers, Lyons Farmette is one of the most charming and naturally beautiful venues along the Front Range. It has a rustic, elevated feel surrounded by gardens, open fields, and winding paths that give couples a peaceful outdoor setting without needing to travel deep into the mountains. The on-site farm animals and thoughtful landscaping add character and personality to every part of the day, and the ceremony and reception areas photograph beautifully in soft afternoon light. The staff is welcoming, organized, and genuinely invested in creating a relaxed experience for couples and vendors. We had our wedding here in August of 2025, and it was an absolute dream! This is very much a location you’re paying to have an event at, but they have so many connections and resources to help you find vendors. Wanted to shout out Scott and Garrison for being so helpful, answering our questions, and meeting with us so many times!! I got married at the Farmette August, 2025 and I am so glad the my husband and I chose it as our venue. Everyone we worked with at the Farmette was wonderful and made us feel welcomed and excited to be getting married there. The flowers in late August were so vibrant and although we did get some rain, the Farmette was prepared! Our guests also raved about the venue, and especially liked exploring the flower garden and petting the goats! I love that there are multiple options for ceremony and reception locations as well as the opportunity to be inside or outside. The Farmette has a lot of natural beauty, so we were able to keep additional decor to a minimum which was a big plus. I would recommend the Farmette!

This venue is an absolute dream! The flower farm is breathtaking and makes the most magical backdrop for photos. The bar and barn spaces are both charming and versatile, with so much character for our vintage-inspired wedding. The getting-ready areas are thoughtfully designed and made the whole day run seamlessly. Truly the perfect setting!

Truly one of the best venues (and I'm biased because our wedding was there)! The Farmette is so green with beautiful flowers, animals, a beautiful lawn with twinkle lights AND the staff is amazing. Taylor was such a great person to work with and the Smallings are so thankful for you all!

Best day ever!!!!!!! The Farmette is the most beautiful venue ever, we didn’t even need decorations!!! Slight rain made the day even more magical. I swear this is the most beautiful venue ever. This place is a little hidden gem In Lyons Colorado tucked away from the outside world what you see from the road doesn't even begin to give you a hint what is hidden beyond the parking lot the venue was a beautiful outdoor Oasis with huge mature trees a large sprawling lawn. A small paddock with a lama, goats ,and chickens plenty of seating to have a conversation away from the party theres hidden garden such a special place clean indoor areas inside and outside venues this facility offers a variety of catered events with hors d'oeuvres service handcrafted pasta the food was delicious full service bars with wine service and cocktail hour that give you options for a lovely outdoor service and outdoor dance floor when the evening cools down move the celebration indoors to dance and party in a warm friendly atmosphere this place will hold a place in my heart and memories for a long time to come

We got married at the Lyons Farmette last weekend and it was the best day ever! Taylor was a delight to work with and was so attentive with all our questions leading up to the big day. The venue is charming, rustic, and just an amazing space that is unique where you feel like you’re hours away in the mountains but you’re only 50 minutes away from Denver. The venue was easy for guests from out of town to travel to. We can’t wait to come back for a future farm to table dinner. Highly recommend booking your wedding at Lyons Farmette!

Lyons Farmette is an incredible experience. not only is every detail perfect from the first step across the bridge into this magic fairyland, the terraced seating down to the creek for the wedding, the beautiful and perfectly shaded grassy lawn for the dinner, the cozy porch for the bar, the sparkling clean restrooms, and great barn for the end of the evening cake and dancing; the team goes above and beyond including finding my Diamond earring and safely returning it to me. If i could give 6 starts i would! I was lucky enough to have my wedding here and it was absolutely perfect. I can tell you, NOTHING WENT WRONG. The venue was amazing, the guest loved being able to see the animals and i was more then excited to be able to taking pictures while holding a chicken. We were able to have a dancing area, bon fire, games and the dinner tables all set up and i still have that intimate feeling. Everyone working at the farm were all very friendly overtime we talked. We did our flowers through them and they were more then perfect! They were even able to add little wrenches to the boutineers. If you ever have a chance i would highly recommend for your wedding or even checking them our for one of their summer dinners.

The Lyons Farmette is a magical place. We wanted to a venue with a laid-back, special vibe and the Farmette provided just that. The beautiful maintained lawn, the adorable animals, the gorgeous gardens, and the thoughtful little details come together to make the perfect spot for an intimate, memorable wedding. Lauren, the venue manager, is wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make your vision happen and isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves make things happen. Our caters were late because of traffic and so she was out there setting up tables and chairs to make sure if was all done in time. We are so grateful we chose the Farmette!

I atteneded my cousins wedding last summer and it was SPEC. TAC. ULAR. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled and have seen many places, venues etc and the Lyons Farmette is breathtaking. One thing that I like about it, is it's size. It's not too big and it felt very personal and almost private. I have seen a lot of complaints about the music. I go to a lot of concerts.. EDM oriented to be in fact. And I didnt have any issues with the music at all. It was loud and great, and then when I needed a drink (Nate with Garnish is amazing btw) I moved away from the music area and didn't have a problem. Understand it's located around people's houses. They're just keeping you and the neighbors happy. Nevertheless I don't know why everyone is bent out of shape with the music. (Eye roll) Move closer if it's too quiet. There. Problem solved. From the llamas, chickens and the mellow black dog. To the HUGE flower beds, green grass and red rock mountains. This venue is so beautiful. I'm fortunate to live close to here. I'll be taking the classes the venue offers when I'm not attending a wedding ;)

This place is fantastic! We just went there with the family for one of their farm to table dinner's, and the food was amazing. Service was also great, and even though I grew up in this area I had no idea that there was this cool little pocket of beautiful landscape and event center. We look forward to attending more events here!

We recently went to the Lyons Farmette for a wedding. It was one of the most romantic evenings I can remember anywhere! The natural beauty of the grounds was reflected in the ceremony. It was particularly nice that we didn't have to leave the grounds for the reception. Everything was there for us! We went from a sweet ceremony to a party in the fields! The weather was PERFECT, the sunlight was divine and the lovers were the most beautiful of all. I've heard they have farm dinners here. We will have to come back to give them a try. Such a gorgeous spot!

My husband & I were recently married at the Farmette, & we couldn't be more satisfied! Not only was the venue beautiful, but the entire staff went out of their way to make our day perfect. Absolutely nothing went wrong the day of the wedding, & they were beyond easy to work with throughout the entire process. THANK YOU Betsy, and Farmette team for such a perfect day!

Amazing, down to earth, organic elegance......Flew into Denver for vacation and didn't think we had enough gas to do this on our first night in town (after the logistics of renting car, dealing with altitude, and driving to Lyons), but we are sure glad that we did. The Farmette is beautiful, quirky, and quaint, let alone being right in my wheelhouse from a hortitcultural and organic standpoint. In full flower, many of which adorned the plates (as edibles) during that wonderous four course dinner. David Pitula was the chef of the evening, who along with staff (both in and out of the kitchen) made for an amazing evening of gastronomics and conversation. I won't get into the specifics of the menu, but it was off the chain great. Coupled with local wines being served and part of a charitable cause (in this case, Farms For Haiti), it was good to give back, however small that we could that evening (proceeds from the bar went that way). This is a must should you be in Lyons late summer. Life is about moments. This was one of them.

My friends are incredibly creative when it comes to birthday presents. I was treated to a farm-to-table dinner at this farmette, and it was enchanting. We sat at a table for about 30 people, and christmas lights were strung overhead and near the creek, which made it magical as the sun went down. We met a goat, and some chickens (please google Mark Wahlberg talks to animals), and I avoided the llama. I think it's smart to avoid llamas. Everyone brought a few bottles of wine, so we started drinking and walking around the gardens, and we got to cut zinnias for the table. Once we were seated, there was white bean dip, and a basil chutney with some homemade crackers. The crackers had seeds in them from the garden. We ate flowers, and beets, herbs, and root vegetables, and it just kept coming. For the main course, there was pork that had been cooked in lavender chamomile brine. The dessert was apple pie with cheddar baked in the crust. This was my first time hanging out with the food before eating it, and I am a fan.

We had our wedding at the Farmette this past summer, and it was truly the perfect location! The Farmette staff are amazing and created a warm, welcoming environment, and completely stress free process. In response to one of the reviews, The Farmette DID disclose their rules/regulations on music volume before we signed any contracts, and we have no complaints. We were able to play music loud enough, and had dancing until 930pm. Most of our vendors were excited to work with Betsy and the Farmette crew, as they are extremely organized and efficient. Our guests were all pleased with how easy it was to navigate the facility, and it was wonderful to have our ceremony and reception at the same venue. Thank you to Betsy and the rest of the Farmette staff for helping us create beautiful memories on our wedding day!

Lyons Farmette is a beautiful organic farm located near downtown Lyons, 12 miles north of Boulder. They offer permaculture classes, cooking classes, farm dinners, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches and a farmer's market every Friday and Sunday from 10-5. I took my mom there on Mother's Day just to take a peaceful stroll around the gardens and visit with their sheep, chickens and handsome llama, Cuzco. It would be the perfect place to have a special event. I am excited to hear they will be offering farm dinners this summer. It is so great to be able to visit the farm where my eggs and produce are grown and to know the wonderful people who do all the hard work to make it happen.

The Lyons Farmette is a dream! Mike and Betsy have created the most magical place for a wedding or private event, and I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else. They provided such great advice and care, and the Bridal suite airstream trailer was fantastic. I recommend the Farmette for any farm dinner, special occasion, or wedding. Our guests couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. Can't wait to go back!
