Google
Burger was definitely either reheated or several hours old at 2pm on a Monday (look at the cheese). Fries were fresh, if a bit soggy. No napkins. Half an hour later and I'm not sick yet, so better than some airport food...

Harley Jackson (.

Google
So I ordered the sausage egg and cheese sandwich for $22. So the cheese looks like plastic and the sausage patty was burnt and there was eggs on 2/3 of the sandwich. So of course I took it back up there and I wanted them to make a fresh one and I'll just tell you it didn't turn out much better and it ended up in the garbage because I was so frustrated. On the side note the tater tots were good but I'm not sure how you can mess that up since they come in a bag and you just heat it up. The most mind-blowing part of this is they have been in business in this airport for almost 2 years and they have absolutely horrible reviews and why the airport would allow them to stay giving terrible service and terrible food is beyond me. Oh by the way the service the reason I say that is because when I asked the manager for a receipt when I first because the machine didn't give it to me when I pressed print receipt he had to manually do it from the register at the counter he rolled his eyes and when he printed it out he literally typed in his code hit print and walked off and made me take it off the printer. I would not go here if it was half the price

Chelsea M.

Google
WAY over priced!!!!!! I paid $28 for an ok burger! It was at Midway Airport so expected to pay a little more, but 28 for an ok burger and basic fries is ridiculous. The only condiment options were mustard and some special sauce, which was too spicy! I had to wipe it off and add ketchup from my fries. I will say the burger patty itself was good and fresh, it needed salt though. This could have been a great burger, it just wasn't!

Tigui T.

Google
TRASH. GARBAGE. The burger smelled funky, I suspect because it's been sitting in the tin foil for so long. They could at try harder-- the esthetics is what pulls you in and makes you think you think you're going to get a delicious meal.. nope just a burger that's been sitting under heat lighting for hours brown cheese and all. So gross

Dwayne K.

Google
Why didn’t I check the reviews beforehand? I should’ve known better than to order chicken from a burger joint. I spent $22 on chicken fingers that honestly didn’t taste like chicken at all. The quality was terrible and they had a foul smell. I travel through this airport frequently, and I will never eat at this place again.

Elsiah H.

Google
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I don’t recommend eating here. The service is horrible and the food isn’t any better. I was looking forward to eating something good and heavy because my flight had gotten delayed however, I definitely made the wrong choice my burger wasn’t done and had cold old fries. Definitely a waste of money!

Nikki T.

Google
Horrible attitudes of workers behind the counter, yelling at ppl not to order on the kiosk, complaining about people’s orders in front of them and $20 for a burger? $5.50 for the pathetic side of fries :’) burger is super dry too

David R

Google
Burger was cold and flavorless. Cheese looked gross. Must have been sitting around for at least an hour. $20 wasted

Yelp
Probably one of the most expensive burgers I have so far had for $21 + tax. Understand the airport "tax", but compared to the amount of food you get for slightly less at Big Bowl not sure of the value, apples to oranges I know. :-) The speed of service is super fast, probably due to the pre packaged burgers you can see by the kitchen counter. You can order by 2-3 kiosks (one has been broken it seems like forever), or you walk up to the friendly counter. Tap to pay and receipts available. I had the double bacon and cheese burger, and it wasn't dried out or soggy, and pretty tasty (see pics). Fries seemed fresh and crispy as well. Size of the burger is not like a pricey Five Guys or large as a Burger King Whopper but more like a McDonalds BigMac sorta size IMHO. I noticed that they don't include napkins or any ketchup in my bag. Another trick if sitting at The Club lounge across the food court, is to leave and buy the burger only, or pick it up while you wait to get in :-)
google avatar

Yelp
This may have been the worst burger I have ever eaten. It was dry, and burnt. Did I mention they charge $20 for the burger. Save yourself the disappointment. Do not eat at M Burger.
google avatar

Edward N.

Yelp
Overpriced garbage airport food. I should have realized this when I was the only guest and they had burgers under the warmer ready to go. I did make a point to verify my fries would be fresh. Sure they are fresh I was told. Nope. Burger did have some flavor. Perhaps from unclean grates. Not horrible but all Things considered I won't be back.

Yelp
I ordered the house double cheeseburger, NO cheese. I like the potato bun which has good structural integrity and was not dry. The beef however was dry and they put cheese in the burger. I did not have time to ask for a new burger without cheese. Fries were mostly shriveled and soggy. Staff were nice though. They accidentally included fries and let me keep it even though I pointed it out.
google avatar

Thomas K.

Yelp
Price was average among airport restaurants. Not too crowded. Food came out fairly quick. Took a manager to be able to get a receipt. Dont know why?? Beef tastes old. Has bad aftertaste. Not enough salt on burger. Too much mustard. Onions not caramelized enough. Overall not a very good burger. Fries were ok. Would not come back again

Yelp
Needed a fast food option, I figured we couldn't go wrong with M Burger. I'm thinking it would taste just like the one downtown Chicago or the one at the Aurora outlet mall. Boy was I wrong. First, it took forever to get our food. There was a huge crowd waiting for their orders. This is 5:00pm on a Thursday. Airport was not extraordinarily busy. When we got our burgers, it reminded me of cafeteria burgers from high school. Honestly, McDonald's is better than this over priced burger. Each burger combo with the fries (no drink) was $20-$22. The meat was dry and overcooked, did not look freshly made, so I don't know why it took so long. The fries seemed saturated with oil. This will be the last time we eat here inside Midway. We should have just walked further down to Billy Goat tavern.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
On a layover at Midway Chicago we were in a rush and chose this place. Look, for airport food this place was legit. Chicken tenders were fresh and cooked well. The fries were salty and I loved them. If I'm ever here on a layover again I'm coming back. Chicken a tenders 5/5 Fries 4/5

Patricia K.

Yelp
The picture of the burger looked great, but it was dry and looked like it was cooked hours ago - stay clear of this food station! I should've checked yelp first!!!
google avatar

Timothy M.

Yelp
The service was quick and prices were airport standard. The milkshake was actually very good. It didn't taste premade in a soft serve machine. Good food a quick bite at midway airport in Chicago.
google avatar

George W.

Yelp
Okay, what can I say? We tried to use the kiosk to order. It wouldn't accept our order. Maybe it was because we ordered two burgers? No, it wasn't that. It turned out to be this: Don't Order Root Beer On The Kiosk, or it WON'T TAKE YOUR ORDER. It gives you a fault code. That's 5 minutes of my life I won't get back. After we "broke the code" we had two orders placed (mine with no drink) so now it's time to wait. And wait. And wait. The food comes out fresh and is tasty, but man, this place is disorganized. My burger was hot, as was my wife's. The fries were unsalted and a bit soggy. I was hungry, so we just ate and went to the gate. I agree with other reviewers, just say NO.
google avatar

Carlton J.

Yelp
Burger was dry. Not impressed. I make better burgers at home. I was at the airport tho. But still if you gone charge an arm and a leg make sure the food is good.
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
1. Soggy burgers sitting under a heat lamp. 2. Got our order wrong. 3. Cashier rude and every employee seemed annoyed about working there. Wasted $40 for two burgers that taste like they came frozen in a cheap grocery. Around the corner is a 4 star burger joint. It happens.
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
Why is everyone working here so angry and miserable? Shame on me for not checking reviews. Burger is cold and tiny. Fries are soggy. Wont be back.... What was I thinking lol
google avatar

Kurt S.

Yelp
No ketchup?!? No ketchup?!? Seriously?!? $27 for burger, shake, and fries........ AND NO KETCHUP!!!! They don't care about providing ketchup to its customers. Do not go there! I should've read the reviews!
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
I've been waiting for 30min to receive an order of one hamburger. Manager says they are backed up, but there aren't many people here waiting. People have flights to make, employees are on limited break times. Completely unacceptable way to run a business. If you are at MDW, goto Billy Goat Tavern in the A wing... you can walk down and get your meal faster than waiting for this dumpster fire
google avatar

Martin G.

Yelp
Save yourself the money. It's just not good. I don't think I've ever had a burger with less taste. Flying through Chicago and wanted to grab a bite. Absolutely disgusting. Fries, as you can see, were sitting there for a while. In a word: no.
google avatar

Franklin C.

Yelp
Expensive but what else is cheap at an airport. I didn't want to wait in line for Dunkin
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
If you let yourself be swindled into spending your hard earned dollars at this sorry excuse for a burger place, don't blame yourself. It happened to me. The pictures look delightful. The photos on their menu of burgers stacked high with toppings left one to wonder "how will I ever get my mouth around that?". Well, see photo below The staff also seemed uninformed that they were at work and not loafing around the halls of their high school...but that's not pretty common nowadays It cost $21 for this burger and a too-thick-to-drink shake. Now, it WAS in the airport, so the price shouldn't have been too surprising. But once we saw/tasted the PRODUCT it was unacceptable. I know I am not the first to say this (I wish I had been less hungry and had thought to read the reviews), but kindly eat somewhere else.
google avatar

Dallas A.

Yelp
M Burger's menu is simple: four burgers, fries, and shakes are about all you can find here. And while the sandwiches probably won't be the best you ever have, the smashburger patties are above average size and are better than a McDonald's or Shake Shack burger (in my opinion). M Burger is located in a food court at the center of the three concourses, and there are a good amount of tables for you to eat.
google avatar

Todd M.

Yelp
AVOID THIS PLACE! Wish we had read the reviews before ordering! $20 for a small cheese burger and crappy fries, plus $4.59 for a fountain soda. $55 total for two cheeseburgers that look nothing like the pictures. This scam should be illegal. The Airport Authority needs have better control over their vendors. If we could we would rate this with zero stars. I literally feel so ripped off and there wasn't anything remotely enjoyable about the product served
google avatar

Sharkyy_Erwin

Yelp
Our total of the meal was 40 dollars not really surprising seeming it was at the airport. We ordered regular fries, cheese fries, and an original burger. They only gave us one fry and cheese sauce on the side which makes no sense why they would charge us for two. The service was rude and judgmental. The ambiance was ok I guess seeming that it was in an airport. Won't be getting again and would suggest you don't either.
google avatar

Hanna S.

Yelp
Lettuce Entertain You should be ashamed of associating their brand with this location. Slow service and burgers put together in the sloppiest way (like all the pickles on top of each other in the corner of the bun). The veggie burger is like some frozen Morningstar patty I used to get in the '90s. In the age of Impossible and Beyond burgers, this is a joke. The beef burger was maybe three stars. And wtf is up with only selling double burgers? Ridiculous. I expect airport prices to be higher, but I felt like a real chump paying this much for such crappy food.

Howard H.

Yelp
Expensive burger that is below average. It's basically all meat sloppily put together and barely any toppings and no ability to customize toppings -- toppings on the burgers are weird too -- like only mustard and onions. Skip this place.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Cheese Burger at midway was disgusting. Smelled funky and how do you ruin fries. Everything was soggy!!!
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Of course it's overpriced; it's airport food. On top of that, Midway recently redid its Central Market (the food court right after security), so all the new places are fancier and more expensive--but not necessarily better. The veggie burger is a ripoff at $11, but it is pretty good for a veggie burger at a place with so few options and even better for an airport veggie burger. The $5 fries are an even worse ripoff. You don't get that many of them. When I was here earlier this week, none of the self-ordering kiosks were working (thank God--I hate those things), and there was a pretty long line to order. It went quickly, though, and although the cashier wasn't the friendliest fast-food worker I've ever met, he was efficient. The food comes out relatively fast, especially for how busy they are. I expect poor eating experiences at airports. M Burger was a welcome surprise.

Jonathan W.

Yelp
The burger was premade probably an hour ago. The burger was made without sauce and smashed on one side for no reason. The fries were premade, cold, and unsalted. None of the employees seemed like they cared about their job. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Unless they do something different, this joint is going to go belly up. Beyond horrible!
google avatar

Celine H.

Yelp
for a fast food place they sure are slow and hella pricy. This is stressing me out because I have a flight to catch. Definitely not worth your time

S. E. R.

Yelp
My daughter ordered a burger which was quite expensive and unfortunately did not get a chance to try it because the service was so slow. It turns out the waitress forgot to place the order and became very belligerent when she was questioned. I wouldn't go there especially since there are so many other alternatives.
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
Run away from the place! Chicago has such great food but has these expensive dried out old burgers in an airport. Customer service is horrible. Never again

Tiff A.

Yelp
Never got our food. Waited 20 minutes with barely anyone in line. Only went here because it was empty. This is an airport & people have planes to catch. $35 wasted. Hope someone enjoyed our food
google avatar

Bassam S.

Yelp
If you like cold burgers, come here. Fries were good though which is the one star here. Otherwise it's 0

Dylan K.

Yelp
Shit food and there's a short line for a reason. Only reason this gets 2 stars is cause it's close to security and easy to find. Go to Billy Goat Tevern instead!! Quick and amazing!
google avatar

J.T. K.

Yelp
If you like heat lamp fries and burgers, this is the place for you. I can't say I've ever been to a "fast" food place with so many orders of fries and burgers sitting under a lamp, yet with nobody actually receiving their food. Burgers are also smaller and less fresh-Looking than the pictures make them appear. Just a super disappointing experience.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
If you're walking towards this location, turn around and run! Be warned this is not going to be a positive review. And yes it is very much my fault for not checking the Yelp review rating before ordering. This location is in the food court of B terminal at Midway Chicago International airport. It is a rather busy night around 9pm. PROs: After completing the order on the kiosk, my name was called in less than 10 minutes. That's about all there is to like about this M Burger. CONs: 1. Chicken tenders. The young lady handed me my bag of food and didn't utter a word to me other than previously calling my name. I started unpacking the bag to check my order. I noticed I didn't have any buffalo sauce. I asked the same young lady who handed me my bad and got a curt response that they were out of buffalo sauce and then ignored me and continued handing out food. 2. Cheese fries. I then noticed that the bag only had regular fries and not the cheese fries I had ordered. I asked her about that to which she replied that they were out of cheese. I asked why she didn't bother to let me know to which she did not have an answer. I then asked if they charged me extra for the cheese and (this is a good part) she then looked up at the menu board behind her then did some calculating in her head and said to me it's a dollar more. She then mumbled that she gave me 2 extra sauces instead. Well that was nice of her, but I replied that she could've just told me all this instead of me discovering it myself. 3. Manager / Supervisor. So I asked to speak to their supervisor. A couple minutes later a woman approached me (after being informed of the situation by another employee) and in a confrontational manner simply asked me what I was missing. I replied that I really didn't want anything or a refund. I just wanted her to train her employees to notify customers that if they're going to deliver an altered product that they should at the very least inform them. All she wanted to know was what I was missing. I indulged her and said the buffalo sauce and cheese for the fries. She said she would take care of it right now by getting it from another M Burger location and that I will have to wait for it. No apologies for having to wait and doing it in a very condescending manner. Logically I wasn't going to wait while she got what they ran out of from another location and she knew that so I walked away with what I had. 4. Food quality Bacon and pickles were edible. End of best part. Fries soggy. Burger patties dry and overcooked barely edible but I was starving. Chicken tenders also soggy. It was late. She obviously didn't want to be there and neither did most of her staff, but that doesn't excuse that kind of behavior or attitude in a service industry. I hope this isn't the "Chicago" attitude because I'm from out of town. I hope that this is an isolated incident, but looking at the other reviews on Yelp for this location, I'm not the first to have an issue with the customer service at this location. I hate writing bad reviews but you have been warned. So to reiterate my title... if you're heading towards this location, turn around and run!

Victoria H.

Yelp
Unprofessional. Made us wait 30 minutes for our order, and it was incorrect. With only 5 minutes left to board our plane, we had to ask for a refund and leave with no food. I don't recommend this restaurant. I would give 0 starts if it was an option.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
It's like in n out but they messed up and made it not good. Looked good on the photos. Got the most overcooked dry burger I've ever had. Not good for $20...
google avatar

Anqi L.

Yelp
Horrible service, I waited more than 30 minutes and they gave me the wrong order. There was no label and no name on the bag. Will never come back again.

Brian B.

Yelp
Save your money! $20 for a burger is pretty steep but it is airport food so it is what it is. Got my $20 burger and I have never been so disappointed in my life. That was no better than hospital cafeteria food. The service was also pretty slow and they had attitude. You would be better off keeping the money and eating nothing.
google avatar

Mary B.

Yelp
Can I give half a star for the good taste? Burger was delish and they actually got my order right. (Plain. No pickles or sauce) But I waited every bit of a half hour for it! Should have been a sign when all kiosks weren't working. Person calling out complete orders had burgers ready and no fries. Or there were fries ready and no sandwiches. Is the grill area too small? It can't be a matter of not enough help. LOTS of employees walking around. Many standing in the kitchen in full view laughing and looking at their phones. I went behind another woman asking for a refund because the wait was so long, and I was next to ask - when they called my name. The whole time I was waiting, it looked like a firing squad of about 20 customers staring at the kitchen! Scary, when you know they are all getting called before you... Never again! I DO not recommend!
google avatar

Diann S.

Yelp
Service was horrible. We wanted a receipt but the kiosk did not print one. Approached the counter and the lady said it was impossible and then started laughing about it. Food was not bad but buyer beware. Especially if you need a receipt for reimbursement purposes.

National E.

Yelp
Picture says a thousand words. And I only have three words. Overpriced. Dry. Distasteful. David L, unfortunately, what you had is the typical Chicago fast food experience. Subpar service yet they demand higher and higher pay. Do yourself a favor and walk to the next food stall Beecher's Handmade Cheese. Excellent sandwiches, passable service.
google avatar

Thomas M.

Yelp
The food is very pedestrian and bland. The worst part is the customer service. This is by far the worst customer experience I've ever experienced in an airport. Hopefully the owner or management read these reviews because they need fire everyone and start over. You can the culture is bad at this location.

Jim K.

Yelp
We have traveled to many locations, state wide and over seas, over the years. I honestly cannot remember worse food/service for the money. Most airport meals are, unfortunately, over priced and questionable at best. But, this place set a new low mark!! First of all, the personnel seemed like they would rather be in a dentist chair getting molars pulled than working here (Midway airport, Chicago). I would say that "sullen" would be a good description. Our burger sat in a bag for 5 minutes waiting for the fryer cook to get the French fries done. So, the burger was warm at best by the time we ate it. Also....not even similar to the lovely picture posted of what their burgers are supposed to be. Ours was all smashed down and frankly, not very pretty or tasty...had better at Mickey D's. For a $20 burger, this place I'm sure, will not be at Midway the next time we fly through there. Also, really had a hankering for a good vanilla shake. But, unfortunately (maybe fortunately) the shake machine was broken. Possible dodged a bullet here!!! Go somewhere else, anywhere else!!!!

Victor G.

Yelp
The sausage and egg breakfast sandwich was awful. It was tasteless and cold. If they did bother to add the mayo sauce they advertised, I couldn't taste it. And I was forced to buy tater tots with it and then required to add a minimum tip of 18%. Total bill of $27.69 for a breakfast sandwich. Never again!
google avatar

Marci F.

Yelp
I'm so sad. I was starving! This new spot at Midway Airport looked like it was gonna take care of it. But no. I don't expect anything special, but my burger was dried out! To be fair, I asked to hold the sauce, because I'm not a fan of mystery sauces. But that left a bun with meat and cheese ?! The pickles in the picture were missing and I put mayo and mustard on it. It was still a hockey puck. Cold, dry, and SAD!

KeepIt F.

Yelp
DO NOT , I REPEAT DO NOT ! Order or Eat Here ! Save Your Hard Earned Money ! I Ordered the Dbl bacon burger W/ Cheese and I was Extremely disappointed ! The shake Machine was broken , the burger was far from HOT / WARM ..... I'm gonna call my BANK & Make A Claim... It Was THAT BAD !

Dr. Rene K.

Yelp
It was one of the worst experiences. They had food on the counter with no one to distribute the food. The manager came out and put something in the computer while chewing on food to never return. A young lady name Natalia and shared she goes through this all the time, she then begin to get orders out. She shared it is never the counter people. It appears to be the end individuals that are just walking around..
google avatar

Derrick D.

Yelp
Burger is just OK for airport food. The burger is not crispy, but it is moist. The sauce goes on a little bit too thick. Also the bun is a little bit too soggy.
