The food was so delicious I was very surprised as I had no expectations before coming. I really found interesting the Asian twist on the oysters. It was healthy and so tasty!! We really had a good experience. The atmosphere was nice and romantic and the service was fast and very good. The staff was very nice! The desert was not as incredible as the rest though which was a tiny bit disappointing. But overall it was fab :)

One of my favourite places to eat in Canggu. I’ve visited this restaurant 4 times over the past 3 years and the food quality never ceases to impress me. The restaurant fit out, staff, food quality and the dishes in general are all something you’d expect from a high end restaurant in Australia with much cheaper prices. I would definitely recommend visiting here a couple times to try the whole menu. A lot of dishes are made for sharing so it is probably better for groups rather than a solo meal (as it’ll be hard to pick just one meal by yourself) Enjoy some food pics of the past few days here over the years

M. MASON Bar was an absolute delight for dinner during our holiday in Bali! My friends and I had an amazing experience, from the dark, moody ambiance that set the perfect evening vibe to the delicious food that kept us coming back for more. At night, the restaurant takes on a relaxing, intimate feel, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal. Whether you’re dining with friends, on a date, or even solo, the warm lighting and stylish interior make for an enjoyable experience. Every dish we tried was fantastic, but some standout recommendations include: Hummus & Flatbread – The flatbread was perfectly made, exactly how bread should taste! The hummus was rich and flavourful, making it the perfect starter. Meat Dishes – The roast chicken was incredibly tender and packed with flavour. In fact, the meat dishes were so good we ended up ordering extras! The vibes, service, and food were all top-notch, making M. MASON a stellar dinner choice. If you're ever in Canggu, I highly recommend stopping by for a memorable meal — whether you’re with friends, on a date, or just treating yourself!

To get it straight first things first: I had there the best Ribs in my life! It was a true composition of different flavors which have resulted in an outstanding taste. It was directly cooked on point. Also the additional salat as a side dish, was very well made. They achieved to make with basic ingredients memorable food. That deserves respect! Sadly the staff is a bit cold and I couldn’t understand them half the time. That could be because of the language barrier or moreover the loud blasting music and the noise from the street. Price - here is the point why l wanted to give initially just 3/5 stars. It’s expensive and not only for Bali standards, but especially if you look around for exceptional restaurants in the radius of 500m. You are going to find something as equal or better for half of price. In the end its cuisine is awesome, but the prices are high - if you can life with that you will have a fantastic food experience!

The best and most generous Chicken I’ve tried in Bali yet. Got the Persian Chicken which is a newly added item on the menu, and it blew my mind. So tender and a big enough portion. The sauce is too good. Had it with the asparagus side which was also an amazing pair. Tip: remove the skin to enjoy the pure taste of the chicken and the sauce together. Was weird the place has low ratings overall but these dishes specifically where off the charts.

4th visit to Bali in 8 years. First time in Canguu for our wedding anniversary. Listen - wherever you are staying in Bali, make a reservation for dinner at Mason and spend an amazing evening being wowed by the food, service and ambience. In all our years travelling and all the places we have visited, Mason will stand out as one of the best for service, quality, price and consistency. I will remember this place fondly and hope to visit again. We came twice (so far) in a ten day trip and would recommend to any budget, any taste and any dietary needs. The staff are like an army - not just in the numbers, but in their discipline and efficiency. They know their stuff and they get shit done! Such an amazing team. Dairy intolerance? They have a full list of every allergen and can help with choices to suit. It’s amazing. The food I can’t even describe. It’s insane. The fish dishes are the stars for us, the tuna small plate was the standout offering and we had that twice it was so good. The crusted tuna main was also ridiculously good. Amazing cocktails, amazing mocktails, every single element considered and planned. The second night we came during our trip was our wedding anniversary. And Bali was in a power blackout from 4pm. Mason’s didn’t blink. DJ playing, full backup generator, lights, full service, the works. That is how you do it folks. Out of this world!

The area itself is lovely, security is super helpful in finding parking for visitors with car. Two different areas indoor and outdoor. The indoor has a speakeasy feel to it, very classy. I wish they relay the music to the outside crowd or some sort of a signage that live music is available inside. Now onto the food, lovely house wine and superb, high quality steak, properly served medium-rare. However, such unfortunate that a simple side dish, fries costs IDR 65k. Definitely on the high-end spectrum. The cheapest steak costs around 390-450k. It’s worth it though. In addition, staffs provide a good service too.

In the back of Mason, through a big wooden door, there are some stairs down. I would recommend you walk them. They lead you into a hidden gem, away from the busy upstairs and and in to the cool cellar of the Chop House. The deep dark lounge music, goes very well with the Interior, lightning the bar and the pool table, that takes center stage. Here we enjoyed a delicious wagyu steak, a deep flavored tomato salat and a garden salat with strong flavors of bitter and sweet in a perfect harmony. So if you're are looking for a soulfull evening out, with a cool breeze of Hip Hop vipe, i would give this place a try.
