M Montréal

This hostel is amazing! It’s incredibly well-equipped for convenience. Each bed comes with a curtain for privacy, and there’s plenty of personal storage nearby, including shelves, a private electrical socket, a lamp, and hangers. You also get a locked shelf under your bed for added security. Each room has its own private bathroom, which is a huge bonus. I stayed in a women-only room, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff at the reception were also fantastic, super friendly and even lent me a charger adapter for free without any hassle. Highly recommended!

First time staying at a hostel, and M Montreal has set the bar high! The entire place was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of activities to join, and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind. The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable—overall, a wonderful experience! The location was ideal, with everything I needed within walking distance. I’ll definitely be coming back!

By far one of the best hostels I've stayed at. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm very clean with its own bathroom. With great vibes and atmosphere. Staff was friendly and super helpful. They provide a towel with a cool bag that you build your own bed with all the sheets. Easy task! At least you know it's clean and pretty organize. Great location in the city and close to a metro station too. Loved everything about the hostel.

It was hands down the best place we stayed at. The room was super comfortable and spacious. There were lots of amenities such as the cafe, the bar and the terrace. The hostel also has many events such as walking tours, special nights at the bar and they even had an awesome NYE party when we stayed there. But most importantly, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again at M Montréal when visiting the city.

The staff were extraordinarily kind and welcoming. The dormitory beds were some of the best I've seen at a hostel (abundant shelving, spacious, curtained). My only gripe is that the bedding is too thin for winter and that it's poorly kept. There was a cigarette-sized hole in mine. Everything besides that was phenomenal for the price.

Hotel M Montreal was an absolutely incredible Hostel in such a great city to travel through. Super clean rooms, showers, and kitchen. Bed had great privacy, even considering having stayed in a 12 Person Mixed dorm. Events every night. Super friendly staff. Lots of good food in a short walk. Just a few blocks away from the 747 Bus Stop to the airport, and Berri-UQAM station. My biggest concern is the location the hostel is in. It seems to be a great location, in theory, with so many restaurants and being so close to downtown Montreal. However, being a solo female traveller, I did not feel safe even walking four blocks down to the station in broad daylight, let alone at night with people. On multiple occasions during my stay, I was threatened by people on the street-- be it verbal or physical. This made traveling to bus stops or the subway extremely difficult and put me on edge every time I needed to go somewhere, especially coming home at night. I almost contemplated leaving and picking another place to stay in, but my stay was not long enough to warrant it.

IDK where to start, it's one of the best hostel in town for sure. Amazing vibe, super friendly staff when I say super friendly I mean it. Lots of activities happening, Cleanest hostel I have ever seen in my life. Made so many friends, Fabian at the bar downstairs is a gem of person. Thumbs up for the whole M Montreal staff.

Hotel M is Conveniently located, extremely affordable, and very clean. I travel to Montreal often for work and have stayed here over fifteen times. I have rarely had any issues during my stay, but the few times anything happened the staff were very quick to rectify the issue. This place is great for those looking for affordability without sacrificing cleanliness. The staff is also extremely friendly.
