It's about a 10-minute walk to Old Montreal and close to the Latin Quarter and Festival District, but note there is often a 2–3 night minimum during some months. Rooms are super clean and range from female-only dorms to private apartments, all with en suite bathrooms; I liked the pod-like beds with curtains, outlets, and lights for privacy, though the mattresses felt more like gym mats and weren't very comfortable.
