m2o Burgers & Salads

Came in and was greeted by the cashier, I think her name was Zoe, and she was the nicest person ever! Helped me decide what to get and it was definitely the right choice!! The hot honey fries were amazing and the cooks/staff in the back definitely know what they’re doing! Honestly the entire staff deserve a raise! They were all so kind! Will definitely be coming again!

The food here is mediocre and overpriced for what you get. They are also a major nuisance to the surrounding residents. They have a service that comes at 6AM to pump their grease trap and they will sit and idle their truck running a very loud pump for half an hour. They also think it’s acceptable to pressure wash kitchen equipment on the sidewalk at close to midnight. Will not eat here anymore. Can’t wait for it to close down and have something else better take its place.

Just happened to be walking on South Street, with my daughter, and we both were hungry. She suggested M2O burgers and salads. Their menu has a lot to offer. We opted for a chicken Caesar wrap and a Nashville hot chicken wrap. They were delicious! The place is roomy and clean and the gentleman at the front was so very pleasant. I look forward to a return visit.

I got the impossible burger and it was honestly kind of bland but the pretzel bun was good. They have cane sugar sodas which is cool, as well as Jarritos. Their fries were the best part, I got mine with cheese, and I plan to come back for their milkshakes at some point.

The person who took our order was so polite and graceful. The service was outstanding. The chicken burger was great and their fries were superb. Can’t go wrong with this! Must try if you’re around this area.

Ordered a single burger on wheat bun for pick up..I only lived 3 min away and the burger was totally cold as if they put together a left over patty from previous order. I paid $5.49 plus tax for an order of onion rings and there were only 5 rings….I think that’s just too pricey for 5 onion rings. Total bill was $15 plus tip and I was too disappointed to even go back for a second time.

We love M2O burgers! As someone with a gluten allergy, it’s great to get a delicious GF bun that doesn’t break apart after two bites. The meal is so flavorful and my favorite part is they have outdoor seating so you can stop in after a walk and sit with your dog while you eat!

I had a very disappointing experience with a staff member at the front desk, possibly named Bianca. When I asked a question, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive attitude. It felt like my concerns were not taken seriously, and the interaction came off as rude and unprofessional. I hope the management addresses this, as it impacted my overall experience and left me with a bad taste in my mouth to the point where I was not going to order food. I was here a few days ago and John the manager was amazingly pleasant and the food was amazing. It was a 5-star experience. But this interaction was just not it.

10/10. This is my go to after gym spot for healthy and delicious food options. My favorite is the grilled chicken Ceasar wrap. I love the seasoned fries as well. The service is always A1 and cheery as soon as I walk through the door. I often order from them on uber eats as well when I'm a bit busy during the week. There is plenty of seating room for small or large groups. Love this place!

Food was meh, fries unsalted lettuce was extremely cheap, union's extremely undercooked. Coke tastes extremely suspicious, and menu is hard to understand and hard to navigate, and the card scanner is broken

This place used to be good. Shakes and burgers are still decent. Fries not that great (smoochy). The real downside is that this location is dirty. Floor is sticky. Ipads used to order food are not cleaned regularly. The whole place needs a refresher. I got sick immediately after, and I suspect the lack of hygiene also applies to the kitchen area.

From the fresh salads to the juicy burgers I can't complain about the food! All the employees are warm and welcoming. They are pretty quick with food prep, never having to wait long. They have a few tables and chairs to sit and eat if you choose.

Healthy tasting ranch but super great service. Would go again for certain. A little pricey.

One word: FAST. Our food came out fast, faster than I was expecting since we went there on a Friday night and they were busy with takeouts. Process: you walked in and order by the monitor yourself. Go to the cashier and pay. Ambiance: go in a little further and you fill find seating area. Quaint and cozy. Taste: i would like to have more flavor in my burger and to me it was a bit blend. Their m2o sauce is just a regular mayo+ketchup and a bit of spicy sauce- nothing out of the ordinary Service: great. Nice people making our food.

Burgers here are so so good. I need to stop going as it's definitely ruining my non-diet. They also have great shakes and smoothies. Also, it's clean inside, they're friendly, and quick!

Pretty quality lettuce wrap burgers, quality meat and fresh toppings. Also tried the chicken sandwich which was juicy and flavorful, and the fries looked good. M2O sauce is pretty good for dipping or topping ur sandwiches, and even though I didn't get a shake or smoothie, they have some options for those too! Simple, clean interior for eating in as well. Good for low carb easy salads and wraps, and some options for everyone!

Much better than MTO, which is when you have an orgasm, but it leaves you feeling lonely and empty. I prefer H20, but watermi talking about anyway. My notes said - very fresh but can't believe how tiny, 1/10th. lovely service. most expensive i ever had Compared to the large salads at the Salata near my house in Houston and the massive ones at Pie O Mine in Buffalo and Cleveland, honestly these are pitiful. Fresh, but tiny, and wayyyy expensive. They're more like New York salads, but shockingly even smaller. This is probably the most expensive salad I've ever had, considering the size, and while service from the girl was really nice, in the two minutes that I was in here I managed to get a parking ticket outside. The situation is a nightmare for the PKNG. So altogether it was one of the most disappointing salads at one of the most disappointing prices with definitely the most disappointingly small portion that I probably had anywhere. Philadelphia has issues. Tastes good, is fresh, is tiny, is super expensive.

Hmmm not sure what the hype is with this place but it's definitely overpriced and average food tops. Fast food feeling but no contact with servers. Def won't return :(

Just picked up our order from M2O Burger in Queen Village and the snippy girl at the counter with brown hair, bangs and glasses told me to "Just be patient." I walked in and was waiting at the counter for someone to come out from the kitchen area, and then another guy walked in and was kitty corner at the counter. When she came out, she asked him his name for his order. As she was walking away I said "And Laura's order" because I received the text it was ready. I wasn't trying to be rude, but since she was walking back to the kitchen, I figured she could handle putting a bag in each hand ... and I was there first. Obviously, I was wrong because she was so rude. I may go back to talk to the manager. And there are many other options for burgers in Philly, so it would be best if M2O didn't employ employees who are rude to a regular customer.

I would have given it no stars if I could.. The food arrived just like this.. the driver said that the bag was thrown at him because it was so busy. We called the restaurant to find out the story and we're promised a manager will call us ASAP but no call came.. the restaurant offered no solution, substitution or refund. We received our refund from Grubhub but besides the food arriving upside down, we didn't receive everything we ordered and the burgers were majorly over cooked to the point of burnt. So disappointing.

Ordered delivery from here last night. I ordered the veggie burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, to mato, onion, pickles on a whole wheat bun with M2O special sauce. It was amazing, absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ordered the M2O burger he also was very happy. We ordered the large village salad. It was very fresh. I just wish it was slightly larger in size. Overall delicious burgers. Would definitely order from here again.

I am presently on the keto diet, and I've liked the control of being able to customize my salad and add some chicken bacon hard boiled egg etc. My husband tried the chicken sandwich and said that it was very good. The staff was super friendly and it was nice that you could either eat outside or indoors. My only gripe is I wish they had blue cheese dressing. Anyway we enjoyed our night out here and will be back soon

Extremely small chicken fingers and VERY few onion rings (see picture). I attempted to reach out to the business on 2 platforms for feedback with no success/response. It's a shame but due to their quality and lack of customer service we will not order from here again. Do not be fooled by their very misleading Instagram. $7 for 3 tiny fingers and $5 for very few onion rings.

Had no clue this place existed, let alone in my neighborhood, which was a saving grace Friday night when I had no food in the house and had already maxed out my caloric deficit on pizza and cheesesteaks and burritos. Online ordering is very easy. Got two build-your-own salads and smoothies and a side of garlic sea salt fries with the M2O sauce. I will say, I do wish there were a *few* more options for veggies, fixin's and proteins. For instance, there's no shrimp or mushrooms or really any fruit for salad other than dried cranberries. However, there is the option of sunflower seeds and pepitas, which is always a plus. In a pinch, it will certainly do if you're in need of roughage. Food was hot and ready promptly for pick-up when I arrived. Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and efficient. The salads were surprisingly very good. I say surprisingly because I had picked pretty basic items that I thought would be uninspired in flavor - chicken, chickpeas, cucumber, tomato, croutons, feta, and a balsamic vinaigrette - but the chicken was juicy and VERY well seasoned (not that bland shit like from Saladworks) and all the veggies were crunchy and fresh. The dressing was so good, too. LOVED the fries. Uber crispy and seasoned with a nice aioli for dipping. The only thing we were disappointed in were the smoothies. They were very watery and my peach/banana combo tasted neither like peach nor banana. Regardless, I will definitely keep this place in mind (and possible get burgers next time since it smelled amazing in there.)

Older guy with grey hair at the register was VERY rude, inconsiderate and arrogant. Did not update anyone on their order in the waiting area. Business is also underperforming due to lack of associate help. (There were 3 people working at this establishment when I went)

My friends and I ordered from here Friday night - it was my first time eating there, but the other couple were fans from when they used to live across the street and suggested this as an option when my partner mentioned being in the mood for a salad. Neither she nor I enjoyed our orders, though it seemed the other couple were quietly, if not particularly enthusiastically, satisfied. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich; my partner ordered a Mediterranean salad with chicken. There were also an order of m2o fries that we shared. The fries were the easy highlight - they maintained a nice texture on the short ride from picking the meal up to eating it at home and reminded me a bit of steak fries, though they weren't wide and flat; but they were full of billowy, potato-y goodness, and the flavor provided by the garlic and sea salt fries was well measured and welcome. But the rest? The salad was ordered with extra feta, but finding more than a few small pieces was an impossibility, on account of there was no more to find. The salad was otherwise bland and highly forgettable. My sandwhich was on the small side, but the main problem was that it felt overcooked and underflavored. I didn't need it to kick my ass on the spice level, but some spice and some flavor seemed like they should have been present. The ranch was similarly unassertive. I tasted the pickles, but beyond that, it was just a small, dry, overdone piece of fried chicken with a couple of distant suggestions of indistinct hot sauce. The disappointing thing about all of this (beyond the lack of mealtime satisfaction Friday night) was that I was (and still kinda am) really interested by their seasonal Harvest Burger and nearly ordered it instead of the chicken sandwich. With your choice of main protein, it gives you bacon, carmalized apples, Apple Cider BBQ Sauce, Goat Cheese, & Red Onions served on Whole Wheat Bun - it sounded just different enough to be a really worthwhile new try...but now I'm pretty torn on if I'm going to feel like giving this place a second chance while that's still on the menu. Oh well...you'll have the chance to read about it if I do.

Friendly staff but food had no flavor. I'm sorry, not a big complainer but the price does not match the flavor. The store was nice though- and I like the ability to order using those fancy iPad things. I ordered the fries and the fried chicken tenders.

Love this place!! To be honest I was kinda skeptical about a 5 star casual burger and salad joint, especially a make your own. But sure enough, it is indeed worthy of it's almost flawless rating. Choose from almost a dozen pre-designed burgers, simple classic salads, milkshakes, New Hope Natural sodas, typical burger sides such as onion rings and fries AND the option to create burgers (veggie or beef) made to order, hence the name, M2O. ((Took me a minute. You shush!!)) Kiddos and I decided to create our own using one the kiosks. (Kiddos loved this!). Veggie burger on a crisp pretzel bun with grilled kale, spinach, cheddar cheese and lettuce with the M2O sauce on the side and two create your own half order salads... My salad was compromised of kale with arugula, avocado, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, red onion, cucumber, tomato, carrots and jalapeño with garlic vinaigrette with crumbled veggie burger on top. It was an excellent salad!!! The ingredients were super fresh and plentiful and the burger was packed full of veggies and grilled to absolute perfection!! It was very spicy however. I didn't mind, but the kiddos weren't taken by surprise. (I wish they stated this somewhere on the menu!) The half order plated in a beautiful wooden bowl was quite the portion!! It seemed as if the bowl was never ending and I didn't mind one bit!! We enjoyed the clean open space with complimentary cucumber lemon water and good tunes. We equally enjoyed the cute courtyard on a gorgeous day! This place has such a great concept. There's really nothing like it in the area! Awesome choice for carnivore and vegans, the health conscious too. Can't wait to return with my meat eating hubs! I've been telling everyone about it!

Call off the search party!! I have found my burger spot in Philly!!! Wow! This burger spot is LEGIT. You can customize your burger how you like it with whatever toppings you desire which is kind of cool. Or they have their own signature burgers you can order as well. I had a cheeseburger because I am a simple girl and when I rate a burger I like to start off with a basic burger to keep it consistent. I was so impressed with the taste of the burger and the marriage of all the flavors in my mouth. The fries are OK-- not my favorite, but who cares. The burger is everything! You can order via the computer screens or the cashier is able to take your order. There was one gentleman that worked in the kitchen who is so helpful and greeted me as I came in and said offered to help if need be. I imagine this place will become very popular in the months to come.

Honestly I was such a huge fan of this place. Probably some of the best fast casual food I have ever had. But I really don't understand what's going on here any more. To build context, I haven't eaten in almost 8 hours and I was starving. Y'all are pretty much a go to for me, my husband and my friend when they come by. But what actually is this, my onion rings were stone hard, and oil is in the container. Also I got, what, 5? The chicken on my sandwich felt like rubber also. Both were difficult to eat, to say the least. It's been recently that this place just seems to not care any more. I am empathetic with places being busy so I get it. It's just disappointing to see.

I order a bacon cheeseburger and fries through grubhub. wow bad. I should have stuck to five guys. burger was probably made yesterday and reheated. the worst and its a shame because I'm traveling and that was my dinner.

Food- I randomly wandered in having never heard of this place before and was very pleasantly surprised! I ordered the philly burger and a side of fries and they were both fantastic! The burger was a bit small but the flavor more than made up for it. The fries were a HUGE portion and also great. Safety- I felt totally comfortable. You order on touch screens and they text you when your food is ready. I ate at a table outside, so it was a great experience.

This is right around the corner from me, but I just tried it tonight. My boyfriend has gotten the black bean burgers a bunch of times and always loved it. I got a cheeseburger on a pretzel bun- highly recommend getting the m2o sauce on your burger as well! The staff was really kind and friendly when I came in to pick up my order. My only complaint was that they never updated the status of my Grubhub pickup order- I simply walked over hoping it was ready and it was sitting there under the heat lamp. Luckily I didn't wait for the notification! They offer salads too although I find their topping options to be somewhat lacking so I've never gotten one. I'm intrigued by the smoothie and milkshake options and may get one next time!

I'm so tired of spending an exorbitant amount of my hard earned money on less than quality goods. Its disappointing to say the least. This is exactly why I normally go to the market and come home to make my own. I suggest you do the same.

Excellent burgers on South 5th Street, just where Passyunk intersects with the 5. Design your own using the three computer stations, or go to the counter to talk with the people working there. Either way you get a standard double patty complemented any way you choose. If you don't want to think that much about it, the menu offers several great combinations that are bound to make you happy. Just the right amount of grease, potato or pretzel roll, natural sugar carbonated beverages, Bassett ice cream based shakes, and fresh fruit smoothies, all surround the ultimate comfort food for your indulgence. Prices that won't break the bank just off the hippest street in town. If there is something to improve upon, it is that it appears that every burger is finished to well done regardless of how you request it. Still, they are so juicy I almost didn't notice.

M2O is my all time favorite burger place, my mom and I drive 45 minutes just for one of their made to order burgers! We love that it is family owned and such a wonderful atmosphere to be in, the staff at both locations are super friendly and very quick! Whatever you order from the menu I promise you will want seconds!!

The food is pretty good and at a great price point. I had a burger with a fried egg and a side of their fries, all of which was delicious. The caramel pretzel shake was okay but to be honest I don't know how practical literally putting tiny pretzels in a milkshake is if they aren't crushed up because the result is they keep catching in the straw when you try to drink it, and you're left with a cup of soggy pretzels. That being said though, during COVID you're going to want to take your food to go. Their dine-in accomodation during this time is a few small tables in a back outdoor area that is right next to where they keep the garbage. Do the math on that to surmise how unpleasant it is.

Normally my food be on point but f all that next time please hold the plastic if there even is a next time that's some disgusting ish to be eating your burger and instead of just having the fried onions you asked for to have a piece of plastic in your sandwich

I wanted a good burger. Not being from the area, it was a stab in the dark!! My bacon cheeseburger was nothing short of deliciousness. I also got a chocolate PB milkshake that I can't wait to try.

M20 never disappoints. I've been craving burgers since late last night. I knew where I was ordering from today. I ordered a nice juicy bacon cheeseburger. The bacon is cooked perfectly and the meat is well seasoned. It's a craft to be able to season a burger correctly and not overpower the taste of the meat itself but enhance it. I also ordered a mushroom bacon burger on a pretzel bun for my husband. I dont hear anything from him so it must be good. I just know I should've taken a pic before giving it to him. I recommend getting the M20 sauce on the side for fries. It looks like just mayo and ketchup but something extra has to be in it. I'll say love because I can't figure it out.

I ordered through Ubereats during Covid-19. I ordered their M2O burger and M2O fries, both are really good, I have to say that I was surprised my fries were still fresh and crispy when I got my order, even when my driver took 20 mins to deliver to South Philly! Amazing! And their price seems reasonable to me especially with the Buy 1, Get 1 promo from UberEats. I truly enjoyed their burger and will be back.

I have been here probably over 20 times. While the food is good, the service is pretty bad. They ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS get something wrong with my order. Whether it's forgetting the avocado on a salad or forgetting the m2o sauce, something is always missing or wrong. The burger is good and decently priced, while they increased the price of the salad by almost double (but you get the same amount). I keep coming back because it's close to my house and a quick bite, but I could not be more annoyed with the continual lack of attention in the service provided.

M20 has great burgers that is very popular amongst the employees at my work! Their prices are very reasonable and food always turns out well! I've only ordered To-Go but they have a dining area and a self-serve station at their shop that I think is really handy!

I was disappointed with my visit to M2O in Queen Village. My sister used to visit often and said at the time, they had the BEST burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. She said everything she ever had there was great. She took me recently and after a disappointing meal commented that it was nothing like what it was when she used to visit. First, I tried to order with the cashier but was told I had to order on the kiosk. This was a bit annoying because the options on the kiosk weren't consistent with the options of their online menu. To lessen the hassle of having to order on the kiosk but then tell the cashier what I actually wanted, I settled and changed up my order. Didn't seem like too much of a big deal. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with cheddar cheese on a pretzel bun and made it a combo with fries and a hazelnut shake. Each aspect of my meal missed the mark. They forgot the bacon on my burger but I was so hungry that I didn't bother having it corrected and just ate the burger without it. Because I ordered a "combo" on the kiosk, I was not able to customize the kind of fries I wanted and due to this, unknowingly got the wrong fries. They have seasoned fries and I mistakenly got stuck with plain fries with no salt, no nothing. My hazelnut shake tasted like a vanilla shake. I couldn't taste the hazelnut at all. My sister ordered a different burger than me but had the same experience with the fries and hazelnut shake as me. She also didn't care for her burger. I wouldn't return to this spot again.

TW's review is pathetic. I am a customer and was standing in line behind her when she was trying to gaslight the manager. Not only was she kind, courteous and patient, while she was trying to engage TW while she wrote her review, called corporate and no wonder she didn't hear the manager trying to engage her. She was busy trying to tear her down. I was nearly ready to refund her money myself just to get her out of the establishment. It's privileged people like her that give the rest of us a bad name. Yes the food is great. You can taste every ingredient. And it's fresh and homemade.

we ordered chicken sandwich and cheese burger. Chicken sandwich was ok. The burger was very flat and dry. We ordered fries and they gave us sweet potato fries. Threw them away. The mango smoothie is so sweet it tasted like sugar with a hint of mango flavor. Delivery fee $3 but they also charged a service fee of $2.83 and response fee of $1.70

The best burger/takeout spot. Their burgers are delicious and reasonably priced. I love that you can customize and make your own burgers. We have ordered delivery and takeout most times, but their location is actually really nice inside with a good amount of seating.

Love this place for a weekday lunch or snack! I love to personalize a burger and then get the m2o fries on the side (they are sooo much better than regular fries!!) Their portions for salads are also pretty good- just about the amount I want for lunch, but a little bit pricy. The best thing about m2o is you can do all the ordering online or in the store and then they'll text you when you're food is ready! So convenient! The one downside of this location is that it is small, and once you order there isn't much space to sit and hangout. I also was sad for a long time that they didn't have any coffee beverages On the menu, but I hear they're expanding into breakfast, so looking forward to that addition!!

I didn't expect much so they definitely exceeded my expectations. It's not really a restaurant so the food had to speak for itself (which it did). Their fries were crispier than others but not oily and the burger I had was top notch. I had the M2O Burger. I'd recommend!

Husband and I were craving burgers for lunch. We just moved to the area, and weren't sure where to get a solid burger. Upon doing some research, we found M2O and for $5+ for a burger we thought "why not?". We were not disappointed. I got the Village Burger and it was delicious. I was surprised that it came with two patties. We also got their M2O fries and despite it being takeout, the fries were perfectly hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Craving fulfilled!

M2O is an interesting concept but definitely one I can get behind. Of course, I always love a good burger and fries, but I'm much more likely to order a salad, especially for a weekday lunch. M2O (short for made-to-order) has something for a splurge or a healthy meal! I met the lovely Alisha S for lunch earlier this week and we were both M2O newbies. She opted for a burger while I went with a caesar salad with grilled chicken. It's typical fast-casual service where you pay at the counter, take a number on a stand, and find a table. We sat outside which seemed like a great idea, but I'd probably sit inside next time to avoid bugs, which descended as soon as our food arrived. Our food was delivered without any napkins or utensils, so be sure to swing by one of the counters inside to grab everything you need. As far as my salad was concerned, it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly grilled while still tender and the dressing was just right. Alisha's burger looked incredible so I definitely want to get back for one of those sometime, too. With all the protein options for salads, I was surprised that there weren't more sandwich options outside of just a regular burger or veggie burger. Maybe that will come in the future. I look forward to my next visit!

I made a detour to visit this restaurant based on Yelp and I don't understand the reviews. Everything was average (not bad but nothing out of the ordinary either) and the burger was on the smaller side. Prices were pretty high for a "fast food" place. I won't return.

Decided to give them another shot. Their house made veggie burger turned out great and wasn't greasy at all (probably one of my top 5 favorite homemade veggie burgers in the city). The fries are a little thicker with a super crispy exterior, and the sauces were good as well. The only item I wouldn't order again is their smoothies, they taste watered down and artificially sweet. I think they're super reasonably priced and will definitely order again!

The PERFECT burger! My neighbor and I frequent another burger spot in the neighborhood but I wanted to try out M2O. This is where you go for a superb simple burger. None of that fancy over the top flavor combinations (which I like) here is where you go to get a good basic burger. You can either order at a kiosk or with a live person @ the counter. I opted for the kiosk mainly because I think touch screens remind me of my college days at Sheetz. While I waited I chatted it up with the super friendly guy at the counter..turns out he is the manager (the old manager of livingroom cafe). He was super friendly and has an affinity for the neighborhood. Since I ordered to go..I had to walk a few blocks before we could dig in. I was VERY pleasantly surprised that the burger bun wasn't greasy or wet. Burgers were cooked to perfection and the order was completely right. We were also super surprised at the quality of the fries...delicious. We opted for bacon cheese fries and an order of plain for her daughter. 1 order is plenty to share between two people. When you're craving a good burger but you don't feel like grilling..hit M2O, you will definitely not regret it!!
