This food alone has me planning my trip back to Charleston. Every bite is perfect, no additional seasoning or hot sauce needed. The jerked chicken is perfectly spicy and the oxtails are bursting with flavor. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Every customer who walked in was comfortable, full, and excited about the food. Nothing was dry, burnt, or off in anyway. The bathrooms were clean. The music was popping to create a fun, casual atmosphere. The building is small, so seating is limited, but DEFINITELY worth it.

Never been disappointed by this place (unless an item is sold out). The food is awesome their punch drinks are delicious! The food is cooked to order and there is a wait time but the food is sooooo worth it! The staff are very polite and accommodating. You will love this place!

Absolutely love the people behind the food. Everything, even down to the music, is authentic here. Roxanne is one amazing cook and I expect this place to be a hidden gem to the true foodies in the Charleston area. Ma Gloria's is where the good food's at!

If you want some authentic trini food, definitely make a stop here. Fly is very friendly. His wife is an amazing cook. I was lucky enough to get some doubles on new years eve along with some pholourie and a stew chicken entree. My new favorite spot. I'll be coming back again.

Everything was delicious! The staff was very nice and accommodating. The jerk chicken is spicy - Fair warning! There is enough for two meals at least. We will definitely be back again very soon.

We went to try this local restaurant while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and the prices were fair. The wait was not long at all. We did have to remind the staff a few times for a refill on water, but overall the service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Ma Gloria's. The owners make you feel right at home. The food is prepared to order and presented with love. Upon reading the reviews we decided to try pholourie for the first time and it was fried crispy couldn't stop eating them, we didn't need the sauce. My son had oxtails w/calypso rice and lo mein. I had an amazing pineapple bowl stuffed with rice and fried shrimp, drizzled with all kinds of deliciousness. We will be back to try other dishes. Give them a try an see for yourself ♡

If you haven't already tried it I don't know what to say! Outside of my aunts from Trinidad, this is hands down the best Trinidadian and carribean restaurant that I have eaten at. The prices may seem a little high for some but this is true authentic Trinidadian dishes and the portions are great.
