Here’s What We Know About the Protests Surrounding Michael Solomonov’s Restaurants | Eater Philly
"As the high-end restaurant in Solomonov’s CookNSolo group, I reported that Zahav was one of the venues he used to raise money for those injured in the Israel-Hamas war: Solomonov said he would donate 100 percent of sales on October 12 to Friends of United Hatzalah, and the combined fundraiser (including Zahav, Goldie, Laser Wolf, and K’Far Cafe) raised more than $100,000; the donations drew criticism because United Hatzalah is currently partnering with the IDF during the war even though it typically functions as a medical emergency service that treats victims regardless of citizenship and coordinates with Palestinian and Israeli emergency services." - Ernest Owens
Tuckrd in the center of haredi Jerusalem is a small deli selling a gazillion types of salads. I found a place to be quite disappointing truthfully. The store owner was very nice and the variety of salads is amazing, but in the end all the salads are overly sugarized, so they are very sweet and taste similar, and the prices are on the high end which is surprising in this type of neighborhood.

They have a great selection of dips, fish, and delicatessen. The food is really good but it is not cheap at all. Great place to pick up stuff for shabbos though!
