Great spot for gluten-free eaters, but also for health conscious folks. The sweets are made fresh every day and not too sugary so the flavors really shine. Sandwiches also healthy but yummy. We are outside on a cute patio but also did takeout. You can pre-order too.

Mabel Mae’s came highly recommended by a trusted events coordinator, so I had a feeling it would be special but Niki and her team exceeded every expectation. Each item was absolutely scrumptious, but my favorite were the Apple Cider Donuts - truly phenomenal! I wholeheartedly recommend Mabel Mae’s - it has quickly become one of my favorite things about Charleston! Thank you, again, for helping make our event unforgettable! :)

Mabel Mae’s is by far my favorite and the best bakery for guilt free healthy treats! I’ve gifted multiple lactation treats to friends in other states as support for them postpartum (they were all obsessed too!), and have tried multiple treats on the menu myself. They’re always luxurious, and don’t feel like you’re “missing out” if you have dietary restrictions (I don’t, but choose these anyway because they’re just superior & reliably excellent). The story and founder behind the brand are the cherry on top of a GREAT product, and it always feels good to spend my $$$ with a small woman owned business with so much heart 🫶🏼

This amazing owner made me a gender reveal cake and had it ready in two days! It was absolutely adorable and delicious! Having a new option for both vegan and gluten free is amazing! Finally some more options in Charleston! It’s hard to fit the criteria for both and still taste so good!

This spot came highly recommended when my family and I came to visit Charleston. There’s 4 of us who eat GF. We felt like kids in a candy shop - everything looked so good. Loved the maple donut and can’t wait to dig into the mocha sandwich cookie! They had smoothies, sandwiches and so many other treats. My brother got the pumpkin cheesecake bar and chocolate donut that thought it was fantastic! So glad they also had lactation treats as well. Although I didn’t try, it’s nice to see GF and V options for nursing mamas!

I am so thankful to have found Mabel Mae's! I was spending my birthday near Charleston and had asked if I could pick up at a later time, the owner was so very accommodating. I was so very thankful! The cake was GORGEOUS! The cake was moist and thick. The frosting was sweet and light. The crumble was good as well. Family that doesn't usually eat gf/ vegan said it was delicious!

Just wonderful all around. Spoke to the owner over the phone and she was unbelievably helpful with getting a cake made for me quickly. Just above and beyond customer service that will now make Mabel Mae’s the only place we buy from moving forward. The cake itself was phenomenal. Wonderfully rich without being overwhelming at all. We could not have been happier! Thank you guys!

Omggg best cake ever and such kind people! They made my wedding cake absolutely beautiful and all my guests raved about how good it was. The cream cheese frosting was heavenly. I’m so happy to have found this bakery since I’m gluten and dairy free. Thank you for helping make our day so special!!

HOW WONDERFUL! As someone with so many allergies I am so thankful Mabel Mae's was here. I was able to get my wedding cake plus a bunch of wedding cupcakes for the guests. Everything was so delicious. Service was incredible and I cannot wait to work with them again!

Mabel Mae's made an amazing birthday cake for our birthday girl! We are so grateful for yummy gluten free goodies! East ordering online and cake was ready on time. We will visit again!

Mabel Mae's Bakery I literally cannot say enough amazing things about this business! She supports her heart and soul into baking amazing baked goods that are completely dairy free, gluten free, and refined sugars free! Emphasis health in her desserts but still allowing you to have a treat to not feel guilty about it! She also offers lots of lactation treats and cookies which isgreat for those moms! We haven'tbought some we didn't absolutely love from her!!! You can find her products at various locations around town also does frequent pop-ups and she's at the Mt. P farmers market! If you see her or her items grab one you won't be disappointed!

WOW, just WOW! We bought the Berry-fetti Crumble 8" Cake for our small wedding back in June and everyone raved about the cake! And I'm still dreaming about it. It was supposed to be a special cake for those with allergies (including myself) but it was accidentally cut up and given to all of our guests. People without allergies loved it! Only piece of advice is, definitely try to pick up your cake closer to the time of your event. Even though the cake was in the AC, the fruit topping started to melt so it didn't look top notch for photos (but who cares if it tastes as good as it did lol)

We attended the Newton Blueberry Farm Festival this weekend and discovered the booth of Mabel Mae's bakery. What a find! Mabel Mae's bakery offered a delicious array of blueberry treats, coffee cakes, cookies, savory biscuits and muffins. We tried the savory broccoli cheddar biscuit, coffee cake and blueberry lemon muffin. Everything was delicious! The best advertisement for this bakery at the festival was a little boy with his face smeared with chocolate cake from the bakery and smiling at people walking by.
