Chef Shan and her husband are AMAZING! Their food is the best and authentic creole food I’ve ever had. Their service was wonderful, their food was handmade to order and they couldn’t be more warm and inviting. You can taste the love they pour into their food. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Mabel's Authentic Louisiana Cooking is absolutely worth the drive! The food is bursting with bold, authentic flavors, and the service makes you feel right at home. Drove over an hour just to come try them out! And let me say, it was totally worth it and I will be food. The customer service alone was enough for me to want to come back. They are so nice, kind & helpful. First time have chargrilled oysters and wow is all I can say! That crawfish etouffee tastes better than my granny’s and baby that says a lot right there. Love this place and will be coming back fish was really good but the cabbage was the best I ever had

Loved the food so much I came back 2 days in a row. I had the mushroom burger. It was so crispy and flavorful. I also had the red beans and rice and a punch drink. The red beans and rice is the best I've ever had anywhere. They have amazing customer service. I will be back time and time again. My new favorite food truck. Keep doing what you doing. Providing good quality food to the community.

5s across the board! Our third time eating here and it always feels worth the price. A bit salty this time but I'm not than convinced it was an off day if anything, and nothing a little squeeze of lemon couldn't fix. Thank you for holding it down for Black owned business in Katy

If authentic Louisiana cuisine is what you’re craving, then be sure to check out Mabel’s. The food is absolutely amazing. Every menu item I’ve tried was cooked to perfection and the service is first class. My favorites are the Shrimp Po’boy and the Catfish platter. I certainly missed them here in Baltimore which is why I make sure I stop by when I’m in Texas. I very rarely leave reviews; however, this is one business that’s most deserving of one. Be sure to try them out, you won’t regret it!

Let me tell yall something about Mabel’s… I’m gonna become a customer they won’t forget because best believe imma keep coming back!! Best catfish in Houston and I’ll stand on that!!

Loved it! The food was delicious, the service was great, they were very friendly... just one bit of advice: if you don't like smoke, be prepared to take it to go ( you'll sit at a cigar bar/patio).
