"The macaron shop had a Lunar New Year box presale earlier in the month, but a few individual macarons remain; find them in the characters section of the online store for local pickup, delivery, and shipping. As of press time, lucky kitties (black sesame), red lanterns (sweet red bean), and tigers (pandan) remain in stock." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

The owner is absolutely lovely, and you can tell she puts so much love and care into her macarons. Every holiday she features yummy seasonal flavored macarons that will charm your socks off. I appreciate that she has things clearly labeled and marked as gluten free (I’m Celiac unfortunately, thanks genetics) but luckily I don’t miss out here. I stop by Bow Market during my lunch breaks sometimes and the owner always says hello.

Google
Tamy took the vision for my sister-in-laws shower and created stunning shell cookies that were not only beautiful, but also delicious! They were a huge hit. She was very responsive, attentive, and took all my emails and photos and whipped up something beautiful. We will be back for more macarons! Thank you for making the day special, Tamy! 💫

Google
I visited Maca at Bow Market for the first time for a company event and it was soooo cute! Store owned by Tamy and the flavors and ideas she has are awesome. I also make macarons at home and they are not the easiest dessert to make so I very much appreciate the art and skill it takes to make them. They are super yummy and not at all chewy which is easy to do if not careful. I wish I was in the area more but I'll definitely be making special trips out to Bow and stopping in to see what flavors Tamy has up her sleeve (have you seen the macaron filling stuffed croissants she just did?! Incredible). Follow her on social media or stop in!

I’ve been getting Macas from Tamy since 2020 and will single-handedly eat all 12 as soon as I get them. So delicious, wonderful flavors, and perfect texture. Don’t forget to let them come to temperature if you store yours in the fridge!

Google
We had Maca macarons for our wedding favors! Tamy was professional to work with and provided the perfect macarons for us! There are so many flavors to choose from. All of the favors were in perfect condition in a 2"x2" clear box which we picked up 2 days prior to the wedding. The quality of the marcarons are superb! Our guests loved them and stated they were the best macarons they have ever had. I have also previously ordered her macas online which were delivered fresh, well protected with freezer packs and arrived completely intact within 48-72 hours (MA->RI).

Google
The owner is so nice and accomodating! They made a special batch made with coconut flour instead of almond so my allergic sisters can finally try one! Also shipping was super fast! So thankful I found this store!

Was fortunate that it was open when I stopped by Bow Market for lunch on a late Monday afternoon. Most shops in the area are not open at the time, but after a bite at Saus, stopped by for a 6 pack, mostly of pandan, but also apple butter, hibiscus and lavender honey. Delicious. Nice packaging.

Yvonne K

Google
These macarons are incredibly adorable, delicious and fresh. My favorites were the black sesame and the pandan. I also ordered some to be shipped and they arrived timely and undamaged. Next time I may do a custom order because the character ones are too cute.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem right outside of Boston. I enjoyed the variety of small businesses and fun vibe of the market. Clothes, jewelry, stationary, thrifting! You can easily spend a couple of hours here with friends, checking out the shops, eating food, and then getting a beer or glass of wine. The courtyard is fabulous place to hang out and catch up with someone, which is what I did one afternoon.

Jenn V.

Yelp
Went a few weeks ago during an event. The food options here are good and vary, so there is something for just about everyone. Great place to get ice cream, beer, and coffee, too. There is some seating in the courtyard but not a ton, and most isn't shaded. Great little place to spend a couple of hours. There are some shops to also browse

Megan Y.

Yelp
Came here for a work happy hour and we used the upstairs area since it was pouring--super cute! We got fries and impossible nuggets + salads from Saus, pizzas from hot box (pickle pizza was definitely unique, a bit spicy though!) and shrimp cocktails and lobster mac (which was SO GOOD). Love that there are so many options for foods, and will definitely be back to check out the other vendors!

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Great space for food and drinks. Everything comes out quick and there's lots of seating.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in the Cambridge/Somerville area!! They have such an awesome collection of local businesses and restaurants and it's so much fun to try something new every time I stop by. I finally made a reservation to sit at one of the fireplace tables in the middle of the outdoor courtyard, which meant I could bring my dog along, and I would definitely recommend the experience. There's a little QR code menu where you can order food and drinks directly to your table from one of the restaurants, but you can also grab take out from any where in the market - alcohol included. We tried the white pizza from Hot Box which was sooo good, I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten there. Next we grabbed a half dozen oysters from Bluefin which were huge and some of the best I've had in a while. We ordered a couple of beers from Variety Bar throughout and were really happy with their selection. Can't wait to visit again and check out some of the shops in addition to all the food/drinks. This spot is such a great place to spend an afternoon, the only downside is that it's popular and can definitely get crowded, but it's totally worth it. Plan ahead and make a reservation and you won't regret it :)

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Came by this spot by a recommendation of a friend. The marketplace is located in a small nook that can easily be missed if you weren't looking for it. There's multiple options for food and shops. A little confusing at first as it was our first time but the hosts at the front were helpful with explaining what's in the area and what to expect. Most food places with seating allows you to bring in food from other spots in the market area. I totally recommend ski bar at the second floor. They had great unique cocktails! I got their version of an old fashion and it was one of the best I've had. Will totally come back another time to try other places!

Yelp
Bow Market is a relaxing indoor/outdoor spot to hang with friends, family, or even coworkers. They have outdoor tables that you can reserve ahead of time, and in the colder months, can reserve a fire pit as well. There are also indoor seating options, though not all vendors offer seating. I really liked dimly-lit summer ambiance of string lights, music, and outdoor conversation. They have a variety of food vendors, which honestly are a little pricey. Totally worth it to head to Bow Market for drinks and snacks/apps!

Kristen K.

Yelp
Went here to get dinner a few weeks back. It was unfortunately raining but there were covered seating outside and indoor seats in Variety Bar. We sat inside at Variety Bar and were able to order food from the different restaurants (although only drinks from Variety Bar were available) and they brought it to our table. The ambiance was great and staff super friendly. The food was good. We the koshari bowl from Koshari Mama and the poutine from Saus. It ended up being a vibe different from what we anticipated. I would probably say Bow Market would be best for beers/drinks with snacks and if you really want the food then just order takeout.

MJ H.

Yelp
Had such a fun time at Bow Market for an event they had earlier this week... it's such a great space with unique small businesses that offer everything you need- jewelry, home goods, food, and cocktails. Every time people come in from out of town to visit, we think of Bow Market as a place to bring them.

Kristen H.

Yelp
Hip happening dining spot in Boston... Great outdoor dining area but you must have a reservation to be seated there. Lots of different dining choices - order at one and then find a spot to sit. If you arrive without a reservation you'll probably have luck with seating at the brewery. Walk through the brewery to find a larger outdoor courtyard buy some beer there and order food from one of the other locations and they will let you bring it in. Lots of fun and nice vibe good for all ages

Adina S.

Yelp
I came to Bow Market for their Maccabee Bar for Hanukkah and it was a great experience. The walls were covered with wrapping paper and there were inflatable decorations. They had a fun drinks menu with interesting names, as well as a few traditional Hanukkah appetizers. My absolute favorite was the latkes - nice and crispy with a bunch of dill for seasoning. I hope they have the Maccabee Bar again next year!

Kendall D.

Yelp
Had a delightful time all around at the market!! Only snapped photos of my cocktails from Variety Bar but I also devoured an order of fries from Saus (I don't need to tell you how tasty they were) and a trio of empanadas from Buenas. I wish the empanadas had been labeled or separated in some way because we just ended up having to guess which was which. Some might say this adds to the fun, others might disagree. The food ordering process worked out well, allowing us to order from any open restaurant within the market and have it delivered right to our table. The rest of the market was as memorable and interesting as the food and drink options, and for a relatively small space there was a large variety of different types of stores and items for sale. Parking was a pain so ideally don't try to drive there. Otherwise totally a fun time and a business I want to continue to support!

Kim H.

Yelp
They had "mixed" up names and gave away the seating for my party. We waited an hour to get seated at the fire pit. Then sat us by the fire pit for 20 minutes then had kicked us out of that area to finally sit us inside their garage/ storage area. Not sure if this is even legal but definitely not a way to treat any paying customers. We felt like we were beggars to dine in here or maybe it's because we were Asian. Shameful to seat anyone inside a storage area.

Yelp
Bow Market is a perfect little hidden oasis in Union Square. It's grown a ton in the past year that it's been open and it's only gotten better. The first floor is all food and drink options, ranging from a pizza/roast beef sandwich place (which is SO good) to empanadas to the vegetarious version of Saus (great vegan poutine). Remnant Brewery is a cute spot to hang out and catch up with friends - good beers and great coffee. Rebel Rebel is an excellent wine bar (options for different price points, super knowledgeable staff who can give recommendations based on your preferences, and cozy blankets for outdoor seating when it gets chilly). Upstairs is a comedy studio, cocktail bar, and a bunch of small businesses (record store, art supplies, handmade leather shoes, etc.) They often have themed events here which are a ton of fun, usually have live music. However, it can get crowded on those days! Lots of dogs and strollers as well. You shouldn't be surprised to have to wait in line for a short time to get in towards later afternoon hours. On a normal day though, it's a quiet little area to hang out around, chill with friends, or even do some work in the day! I highly recommend.

Yelp
When Zoom won't do. A close friend is leaving the country permanently and so we figured we needed to send him off in person. What to do when in-door gatherings are unsafe and it's late January in Boston? Someone suggested Bow Market. What a gift! Bow Market is an outside food court, except nothing about it evokes the mashups of fast-food malls and burnt-coffee airports. This area -- like a piazza tucked in a cul-de-sac just off the main drag in Union Square -- is curated like a restaurant with twenty or so two- and four-tops arranged throughout along with large umbrellas for sun (one imagines this thing called "sun" in the dead of winter) or (as needed in our case) snow or other precipitation. Around the perimeter are a collection of food and drink offerings, all independent. I'm not sure what's usually open, but when we were there, we got beer and fries, hot mulled cider from Create Cocktails (!!!), and the best pizza in the history of the world at Hot Box.

Yelp
The market I think opened a couple of years ago. Last Sunday was my first time coming here, and I really liked the market. The restaurants and shops are nice and have a good diversity. In addition to the Americans, there are Nibble - a rotation of local restaurants, Egyptian, Korean, Filipino and other cuisines, plus the Remnant brewery and another bar on the second floor. I was also really impressed by how well the market managed to open the shops and restaurants, and keep the social distance and other safety measures. The little 'insulated' greenrooms are cute!

Yelp
Bow Market is a two floor motel style building lined with small shops surrounding a shared open patio tucked away just off of Somerville Avenue in Somerville. Shops each have their own hours, and sometimes they host pop-ups. I didn't have much time on this visit, so I'll have to come by again sometime, but I did pick up some pierogi from Jaju as a quick mini lunch. Parking is street parking, which I was fortunate to find without too much trouble within walking distance.

Yelp
Bow Market is a nice neighborhood market that was quite recently opened in the past months in Union Square area. Unlike the rest if the neighborhood that this market is situated, Bow Market comes across as a hip, trendy place so worthy of cool people to hang out. The market itself isn't quite large, but does have a little bit of everything from food (coffee shops, breweries, macarons, pierogis, empanadas/pizzas, Korean and seafood popup, etc) along to crafts (cards, handmade shoes, soaps, magnets, clothing, etc). The vibe itself attracts late 20s to early 40s crowd and was very lively! There are tables outside to hang out when the weather is pleasant as well. Most of the shops dont have any seayings inside though, so I'm not sure if they'd be open during the winter at all (or if they do..not sure where you may be able to sit). They also do have stand-up comedy shows that open in the evening/at night. If you are in Somerville area, check this place out. You can browse the shops in less than an hour..or hang out with friends for a few hours or longer even! Note: it's a little bit of a walk from the T to this place, but when the upcoming new T station opens at Union Square...I'm sure this place will be so popular among nearby neighbors/visitors

Yelp
Bow Market is a small, hip food hall that offers some great and diverse dining options. If you are looking for a cool place to head, this is your place.

Yelp
Came here with a few school friends to continue graduation festivities. Bow market itself has cute little boutique shops, including a book store with some of the best wine (Thant you cannot fine in wine stores). We ate upstairs and I didn't realize that we were at the bar and the food would come from a bunch of different little restaurants at the market. I'd also like to give a shout-out to our waiter, I didn't catch his name, but he was very sweet an attentive. Our food came out tapa style. We ordered the poutin for the table, french fries with an impossible ground chili and chunks of cheese. This was incredibly good, the fries were soaked in chili sauce! I ordered a fresh squeezed lemonade which is not on the menu but they will kindly make it for you. For entree, I had the mild power bowl. It's lentil heaven with some scattered macaronis and some crispy veggies on top. I lo loved my dish but wished it had less rice, at least 75% of the bowl is white rice, which is too much.

Bailee P.

Yelp
Very cute outdoor market. So wonderful for a nice summer afternoon on the patio with all of the shopping and food options.

Nefize T.

Yelp
I was recently here with a date, and we drank some beer and ate fries around the firepit. I honestly dont want this gem to be discovered so I can keep going and enjoy sitting around a firepit outdoors until the pandemic settles down, but I did have to write a review to rave about how great it was. Whether it is with friends or a date, give it a try. You will enjoy it.

Christina Y.

Yelp
I love the idea of Bow Market: small vendors and pop-ups repurposing a space and bringing vitality to Somerville. Honestly, I'd want a Bow Market near me! The shop owners are so friendly and they remember me. I love the variety of things available, I love the vibe of the open-air space with all that seating and little fire pits. The Maca macarons are excellent, the Rococo flower shop does the most beautiful flower arrangements, the Mike's Hot Honey Mulled Cider at CREATE is all the fall feels, the Hot Box pepperoni pizza is one of my favorites. But for all that is wonderful about the place: DO NOT SIGN UP FOR INDOOR SEATING! We were there for a Sekali popup and my friend booked it because it was the only seating available on Resy. We should've just eaten on a random ledge outside or the park - it was a beautiful fall day. We got whisked away into a dark partitioned room at Variety, then somewhat pressured into purchasing drinks to acknowledge our generous host. I got a mocktail for $7, my friend got a tiny rosé can for $9, and after pre-included tip it came to $24 for the convenience of having somewhere to sit and eat in the dark, in a tiny plywood box. There was absolutely no one inside Variety and we couldn't even sit in the front area with a view of outside?

Zachary T.

Yelp
Great place to hang out and eat. Tons of options and different types of food along with shopping

Nicolette P.

Yelp
This review is based on Indoor Dining at Bow. According to Variety's website, "VARIETY BAR IS PROUD TO HOST INDOOR DINING AT BOW. SIT BACK, RELAX, AND ENJOY A FULL BOW MARKET EXPERIENCE WITHOUT EVER LEAVING YOUR TABLE. ORDER FOOD FROM YOUR FAVORITE BOW MARKET BUSINESSES AND ENJOY DRINKS FROM VARIETY BAR. ". #lie. TLDR- Unless you're not hungry and just going for drinks, not a good choice. Be prepared to pay 20% gratuity POST-TAX!!!! for everything you order I've been to Bow market multiple times but this was my first time doing the Indoor Dining. We made a reservation through Resy and were seated immediately. They have a we code on the table that links to the virtual menu, featuring Variety cocktails/drinks, and a selection of foods from the food vendors at Bow Market. It's important to note it is just a selection- not all of the options available at each vendor are available to be ordered (which is disappointing). The server came up after about 10 minutes. We ordered our drinks and food. About five minutes later our drinks were brought over. I got a Diet Coke, which was pretty much brown sparkling water- no taste. About five minutes later we flagged down the hostess to order an additional food item. About 25 minutes after that, part of the first order came out, but the poke ball was missing. The waiter informed us that the restaurant (Hooked) had not made the bowl yet because she asked for it without sesame seeds, and they were unsure if it was because of a good allergy or a dislike- something the waiter had asked her 15 minutes prior, but never told the restaurant. Her order wasn't ready doe another 10 minutes, and came put with cucumber which is NOT listed on Variety's menu- but is on Hooked's website. She is deathly allergic to cucumbers so she could not eat it. She then had to wait another 10 minutes for her food. The bad diet soda was "comped" but we still were charged tax and tip on it- which I feel like is illegal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AND WILL STRONGLY ADVISE OTHERS TO AVOID. Want to go to Bow Market, do outdoor seating.

Jay B.

Yelp
This place is not worth the effort unless u have reservations for their very limited seating under covered umbrellas. It was 90 degrees yesterday with no available shaded seating . The workers are clueless as to the need of additional out door umbrellas . It's a shame , cute place with limited potential due to bad management

J S.

Yelp
Bow is a cool new market with food vendors on the bottom floor and arts & crafts, vintage and other vendors on the upper floor. Plenty of patio seating to enjoy your snacks (pierogis, empanadas, bar pizza, macaroons...), or you can bring the food into Remnant Brewery to enjoy with your beer (seating in front and behind the brewery). Not sure if you can bring non-Bow Market food in, but there's no need with the fun selection available. Dogs are permitted in the back patio of Remnant too. The Comedy Studio from Harvard Square has moved here too, and last night was their first night open. Apparently, Bow's grand opening won't be until November (some vendors and still working on their spaces), but many vendors are already open (first opened in May). Just be sure to check their hours on the website, since it doesn't seem to be all day, every day, and varies between vendors. Awesome addition to Somerville!

Ling C.

Yelp
I love this little Co-op style dining experience, I visited this little market after the paramedic madness started, so it might not be the norm of the dining experience here; nonetheless, the whole dining experience was still very enjoyable. The host sat us down with a cozy table in the center of the market. The food vendors, which are located on the ground floor, are for you to wander around, order, and bring your dishes back to the sitting area. There are only a few restaurants but great diversity. After the meals, we could shop around on the locally owned shops on the 2nd floor and do some light shopping. We stayed in the area for about an hour, It would be great if you are nearby but I won't get out of the way to visit the market. Also, the sitting area is outdoor, which is safer, but it might not be your cup of tea if the temp. drops below 35.

Ellen K.

Yelp
A fantastic location with open air seating (reservations preferred), local artisan shops, live music, and great food and drinks. My friends and I reserved the fire pit in advance, and every reserved table is available for 90 minutes with a fee of $5 per seat/person. We didn't need to utilize the pit since it was 90 degrees out, but it definitely seemed like the pit would come in handy for the colder months. There are cute greenhouse tables available for reservation as well. Overall, the outdoor seating was a great area to chill, eat, and chat. The music and chatter of our tables was never so loud and tables were spread out evenly that we could not have a proper conversation. Oh and one amazing thing about Bow Market-- you can bring your dog (leashed, of course)!!!!

chayoon b.

Yelp
Had delicious Korean Bibimbop at Perillas , with natural wine from Rebel Rebel listening to fun records at Vinyl Index . Sitting on the 2nd floor of the cutest courtyard in Boston. I think all the artisanal shops and brewery/ restaurants are really good here. Good vibes and fun day

Rose W.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere! Strolled by unexpectedly and found a hidden treasure off the beaten path. We enjoyed a quick bite el fresco on a variety of empanadas (all delicious). We sat surrounded my flowers and cute shops above and below. After nibbling on our snacks we ventured into the crafty stores - books, albums, stationery, clothing... a little something for everyone. Definitely worth checking out in a nice day!

Reena P.

Yelp
Beautiful courtyard for outdoor dining surrounded by small eateries and shops though very hard to get an outdoor table at night. Plenty of indoor main seating though they don't have 1 comprehensive menu you can look at for food from all eateries but an abbreviated one, so you would have to look at each individual restaurant's website to figure out what they have before ordering - the food is delivered to you in to-go packaging, not with silverware, etc so it sort of undermines ambiance of sit down experience - the poutine dish was amazing

Randy D.

Yelp
Heard about this spot, was excited to go there just to be terribly disappointed. Presumably cool concept but management was very.. very poor. Had reservations with friends, we checked in 15 mins early to a pair of extremely confused hostess AND manager. As we told them our name and time of reservation, the hostess then says "perfect" as if everything was going to run smoothly. The host then tells us that there will be a table clearing up and check back in at the reserved time (3pm). As we went to go check out the shops upstairs, the host then chases us down to tell us that our reservation was actually at 4pm. Since we've made it this far we didn't want to just leave because we really wanted to see what the hype was about! So here is when everything really started going downhill straight into a terrible terrible experience... Came back at 4pm to check in with the host & manager just to sense that they were trying to cover their asses very very hard. When we checked in they apologized to us about how our reservation was really at 3pm and not 4pm! We wasted more than an hour just to be VASTLY let down. They then tried to make the situation better by ALLOWING us to sit at the main area for 20 mins! Telling us that after 20 mins we would be moved into the back room to "enjoy" our food, and after that enjoy a round of drinks on them at a bar upstairs! So 20 mins of outside "fun" passes, and now we are led into a back room that LITERALLY is a storage room for decor. I felt like an alien being separated from "normal" humans. I felt as if they didn't want us aliens to be seen in their human area. After eating in the f-ing storage room, we were escorted into the bar upstairs to enjoy our round of free drinks. Honestly shouldn't even have taken up on their offer because this whole experience has been a huge waste of time up to this point. Continues to tell us "thank you for being flexible" There wasn't anything worth trying there, and the shops upstairs were pretty much useless other than the flower shop. Maybe it is a good place for drinking canned beers with your friends and having a less than mediocre experience (if that's what people like), but this place is a hard pass, I am very surprised they've been able to stay in business! The bar upstairs has a menu to all the other food spots downstairs and simply there wasn't anything worth ordering there. Didn't get to try the empanadas bc the empanadas shop was closed, was looking forward to that the most, but looks like I'm never going to get to try it now after this horrid experience. Time is the only thing you can't get back in life, so I would not spend my time or money here ever! Imagine being told to wait more than an hour just to be thrown off course into a damn storage unit. Don't come here unless you love a less than mediocre time. You and your friends deserve better!

Yelp
Since there isn't a separate Yelp listing for Nibble Kitchen, I'm going to leave it here... While the other places in Bow Market are hit or miss, the food at Nibble Kitchen was INCREDIBLE. On the day with the Brazilian food, the moqueca ($12 +tax+tip) was an astonishment. I'm not usually a huge fish fan, and I've had many disappointing moquecas in the Boston area, but this was so good. Flavorful, just the right texture... Amazing. The acaraje ($12 +tax+tip) was also very good, though I wasn't as big a fan of the texture, which was little same-y after a while. The Venezuelan arepas were good, but not as spectacular. I liked the plantains a lot, even though I usually am not a huge fan -- the combination of it with the pork was amazing. It's worth splashing out the extra 2$ for the more expensive 8$ (+tax+tip) arepa that has the pork + plantain + beans + cheese, which I thought was better than the 6$ ones without everything.

Yelp
We just moved from Boston to Somerville last weekend, and really weren't feeling like going out for dinner that night so we decided to do something easy and finally try a few of the menu options from Bow Market that many Yelpers rave about... We got the Pepperoni Pizza and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza from Hot Box for $13.50 and $14.50 respectively, along with a couple of Beef empanadas and a Buffalo Cauliflower with Blue Cheese empanada to share from Buenas for about $4.50 each. Everything we had was amazing for sure, and we never even tasted the Buffalo Cauliflower because we were way too full after only eating half of each pizza and a single Beef Empanada per person, but I must say that I sincerely think the Buffalo Chicken Pizza was my absolute favorite with regard to taste and good value for the price. You get some hearty pies that two average to small eaters would be satisfied to split, and if still needing a bit more to fill in around the edges, then any of the Empanadas is a great solution, but not as cost effective. We look forward to heating up the leftovers for lunch tomorrow and yes, tasting the Buffalo Cauliflower at last. The Beef Empanada is incredibly flavorful but is little small for it's price. We definitely plan to keep trying new foods at Bow including the fries from Saus, roast beef sandwiches and different pizzas from Hot Box and seasonal specials.

Yelp
Finallly a full line up. Excellent outdoor seating with a brewery and music. Boutique shops on second floor provide curated selections of gifts and clothing, hard to find items and more. Ground floor brewery (remnant), a wine bar, roast beef, pizza, burgers, fries and a fish shop round out the bottom level. Music can get loud and it get crowded but it is fun.

Yelp
Novel idea. An outdoor atrium surrounded by a bilevel collection of small shops... like newsstand sized shops... with a cat walk that overlooks the area where bands play and beer is served. Loved that the kid at the opening asked for my ID...look for events and interesting music.

Yelp
Nice hidden place but not convenient at all to eat there! I was asked by the staff to keep my mask while eating....

Yelp
What could be better than a night of drinks with friends around a fire pit? I can't say too much. Within a two week period I had gone 4 times. The ambience is great and the plus side is that you can order food and drinks from any of the vendors, except Remnant. This really makes it a great place if you and your friends have differing taste palates or food preferences.

Yelp
Bow Market has definitely stepped it up recently with the outdoor seating and fire-pits so folks can relax, drink some beer, and have food from their vendors while staying warm! There are lots of hidden gems and amazing spots here! One of my favorites are Perillas and Hot Box!

Yelp
Overpriced pretentious food for Somerville fellows on their 20's. I Dont know... it just lacks the authenticity. The there are lots of little restaurants... but something is just off. Seems like a good hangout place. But thats it.

Yelp
Hands down the best place in Somerville (and arguably Boston). Once a deserted parking garage, Bow market is such a cool concept of open dining and shopping. You can get everything here from fresh produce, fish, coffee, beer, dessert, to all other shopping needs. Every shop owner and worker are incredibly friendly and you can tell how much they love their business and the community. I especially love Make and Mend, a secondhand craft store. Bow market puts on many different community events such as open shop and sip nights where they extend their alcohol license to the whole outdoor area and multiple outdoor fairs. Bow market is definitely a must visit in the area.

Yelp
I found this spot through a Resy email and it was so funny because I was an hour away from Boston! I decided to check this place out for good food and realized it was a whole plaza with restaurants and shops and due to COVID they were reserving seats in the middle of the plaza and working with the restaurants where we can order online and they deliver to each table (not sure if they had this prior to COVID). This was a genius idea especially for summer to sit and have drinks with friends and try multiple food. I got to have oysters to empanadas, cocktails, pizza and a chocolate gelato while sitting in one table but from different restaurants. Such a nice atmosphere, clean location and friendly staff.

Yelp
Great indoor/outdoor market with all local goods! We checked out Bow Market on a Saturday afternoon. Since it's opening, it had been on our list of things to do. We easily found a parking spot on Bow Street only about half a block away. The Market could be bit hard to see from the sidewalk if you didn't know it was there. The Market features a patio in the center surrounded by two levels of shops. The patio is a great spot to take a seat (with your dog!) and enjoy some food or drink from one of the local vendors. I headed inside Remnant Brewery to see their offerings. They collaborate with Barrington Coffee to serve up some espresso and coffee beverages alongside a few craft beers. Remnant also has a separate patio if you'd like to sip your brew outdoors. I bought an iced coffee for the warm day. There was also a pastry pop-up inside called Keegan Kreations. I had to grab one of the delicious looking matcha dark chocolate croissants and it did not disappoint! The ladies serving up the crispy, buttery layers of goodness were very nice and I made sure to tell them how good the croissant was before we left. We took a small table outside on the patio with our dog and enjoyed the cool breeze. I also took a look inside some of the shops. Vintage finds, handmade leather shoes, used art supplies, succulents and plants, pierogis, macarons, and apparel are just a few of the shops. They still have a couple shops available or soon-to-come storefronts. Overall, great market with all local goods!

Yelp
Really cool setting for listening to some music, enjoying food and sitting by a fire pit. Several choices for take out food for our group. The wine bar offered suggestions from their selection and we finished the evening with lava cake from Chocolat.

Yelp
Independently owned small business are great...I enjoy supporting them. The atmosphere can be loud and hectic. It attracts people with LOTS of strollers. The vibe feels oddly corporate too. The Remnant beer is definitely the highlight. Here's the problem - the entire main area smells like thick french fry grease and salt. In fact, our clothes smelled like french fries after hanging out there.

Yelp
We reserved a fireplace table in the courtyard and had a great family visit. Everyone is able to eat what they prefer, and also great for sharing. Cute shops. Great relaxing atmosphere.

Yelp
Super outdoor food market with a nice variety of options. We enjoyed some oysters, salmon BLT sliders, tuna ceviche, bibimbap, a pastrami melt, and some craft beers -- everything was well-priced and delicious.

Yelp
This place is perfect for the spring weather. They have seating around the fire pit which keeps you warm and cozy. They have some nice drinks menu too. I had their hot chocolate margarita. It was quite delicious. I also ordered some Poutine with it. All in all it was cozy and delightful evening for me at Bow Market.
