You can only arrive by car, is inside a golf club with two security filters. The design of the museum is nice with attention to detail. It is small so it will take to you like 1 hour to see everything. Don't allow to take pictures inside. The garden is amazing as well and with some sculptures inside The art show inside is pretty good with 80% artist from Africa.

A beautiful designed museum with a calm setting to view contemporary art. There is also a small cafe and museum store. It’s located in a nice compound near the Mandarin Oriental and Amanjena which you can visit too.

The museun is out of medina and quite far away, but that also means it's quiet peaceful and you can relax and enjoy a different kind of experience. I enjoyed the exhibition itself a lot. The artists where unique and bringing nowaday topics up. I especially enjoyed the upcyling art.

Worth visiting if you're an art lover. Surprisingly well-curated space with contemporary arts from African artists from the region. We spend over an hour with two floors of exhibiton. Google Maps pin is incorrect, ask the taxi driver to drive towards the Al Maaden Villa Hotel & Spa (there's a main entrance with security) which you can confirm the direction to the museum. Entry fee was 70dhs per person.

Beautifully designed building very contemporary modern African art with an outdoor garden and cafe. some people say it's difficult to find but once you cross the river turn right immediately into the private golf resort and tell them you were looking for the museum.

This place is a little hard to get to but it's def worth a trip. When we went there was a really cool photography exhibit, although it wasn't part of the permanent collection. There are a lot of pieces made with recycled materials and/or garbage which are cool if you're into that type of art. There's also a gorgeous outdoor area to sit and relax in, too. Very clean and quiet, a nice reprieve from the chaos of the Medina.

Absolutely adored this gem of a gallery. Please make sure to check it out, especially if you love art and are part of the African Diaspora. It is located in the outskirts of Marrakesh, but it'll be worth the effort. Both the permanent and temporary exhibitions are well curated and interesting. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!!!

I totally recommend this place. The building is incredibly beautiful inside. Truly worth a visit if you’re into contemporary art. On the internet it says that they open at 9 am which was not the case. We were not allowed to enter until 10.
