PHILADELPHIA CITY GUIDE

"A neighborhood mainstay for decades, Macaroni’s blends timeless, old world charm, with a dynamic modern dining experience. Our menu is inspired by our passion for simple Italian comfort foods, that draws from the deep well of Italian culture and cuisine. At the same time, Macaroni’s reaffirms its commitment to serving seasonal and sustainable local fare to the Northeast Philly neighborhood it calls home."

The Best Restaurants in Northeast Philly | Eater Philly

"Like the rest of Philly, it’s easy to find Italian restaurants in the Northeast, but P Square stands out. Set behind upscale Italian standby Macaroni’s, this attractive glass-enclosed patio lounge has its own large bar and a menu of Neapolitan-style fare, including wood-fired pizzas and wings, and polished entrees featuring local fish and handmade pasta." - Sarah Maiellano

Came last night for the first time for dinner w/wifey for date night and it was amazing as usual! Omg we got the specials filet and sea bass and diver scallops. Absolutely divine! What a luxury and gem to have such a posh restaurant in the Northeast. Love the owner, servers, and food at this place.

My partner and I came here for the creme brulee cake. We were overly surprised with the amazing service and food. The staff were incredible, we were taken back by how good they were at their job! Apparently my partner was jealous of my lobster ravioli but his shrimp were delicious too! The atmosphere held up as well, gorgeous little restaurant. Will definitely be returning and I absolutely recommend.

Really great experience overall! The pasta was super fresh you could taste the quality in every bite. We sat outside because the weather was just perfect, and it made the whole meal feel even more special. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Bogdan and Nick were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional they definitely deserve an extra star for how well they took care of us. Would absolutely come back!

I had the sea bass, was a special, I’m a fish person but not a sea bass fan, but this was on point, wifeee had chicken parm( her go to) she only ate half but loved it I ate the rest at midnight, cause I’m a midnight eater ( serious issues) atmosphere was wonderful we ate inside, but we looked at the place out back. It’s really beautiful. Our waiter was great, it’s nice to have a server who is knowledgeable about the menu and articulate enough to answer a question on the fly!! Our new go to Italian restaurant the owner Dave came to our table 2 or 3 times asking how it was…. Next time I won’t wear sweats.. JK🤣❤️✌🏿

This was my first time here and I chose it for my birthday dinner. In all honesty, this place is a gem in the Northeast! The servicer we had was very attentive, friendly, and more than happy to explain anything for specials and items on the menu. The food and drinks were great!! I have not had a polenta cake since I was kid and made them with my grandma. Truly was an amazing side to add to the wonderful meal. We could not have been more pleased! Definitely looking forward to coming back!

My husband and I went to Macaroni for a date night and it did not disappoint! Since it was a weeknight, we walked right in with no wait. The service was quick and super friendly. They bring out roasted peppers to start (amazing touch), though the bread could’ve doubled as a paperweight—it was pretty hard. 😂 We tried the Caesar salad, mozzarella appetizer, chicken parm, and the truffle pasta (can’t remember the Italian name, but trust me, it was incredible). The main dishes were honestly some of the best we’ve had anywhere. The apps were just okay, but the chocolate martini totally made up for it—so good. We’ll definitely be back to try some more dishes!

Found this restaurant online. We went there for my wife’s birthday. A wonderful experience all the way around. We sat in the inside dining area. We loved the atmosphere of the whole area there. The dim lights. The small light at the table. The table setting. All added to this experience. Tony was an excellent server. Thank you. We started out with the eggplant stack. What an appetizer. Absolutely delicious!! For dinner, I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and my wife ordered the Chicken Parm. WOW! It just kept getting better. For dessert, we shared the Crème Brûlée cake that was a suggestion from our server. A perfect end to a perfect meal. Our compliments to the Chef for everything. We look forward to another visit in the future. We can’t wait to try some other options on the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant. From drinks and appetizers, to dessert, you will not be disappointed.
