Vito is the star of this place and so are the other team members, thank you for the lovely night. From the start we had such a great welcome from the host member, he was soo nice and welcoming offering the best tables he had in house. Followed by Vito when the fun began, he introduced us to a new wine and explained it for us which was very nice, also the menu was explained and we really appreciated it. We went for the bone marrow tartare which was one of the highlights and the buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes which was alright, not the best I have ever tried but well season and the basil oil kind of saved it. The mains were something unreal, the steak, the bone marrow, the fries with Parmesan and truffle oil were the best I ever tried, the steak was perfect to be honest! We haven’t ordered desserts, but Vito made us a surprise for our Anniversary and did a great message for a couple of 9 years together, we really appreciated him and the team for all the hard work and the super surprise. We will definitely gonna be back! Thank you team!

The restaurant itself is very lovely, you can see the open kitchen and the steaks being cooked. Good atmosphere. Unfortunately food is highly lacking in flavour and depth at the price point. Ordered off the halal menu, had a pizza (£17) for a starter - assumed it would be decently sized but it was tiny, maybe 6/7 inch, and the flavour was very flat and dough wasn't great either. Super disappointing. For the steak we tried the Costata (£76 for 600g). This wasn't too bad. Nicely cooked and decent flavour but nothing that says wow. Accompanied with the hand cup chips (they were definitely overcooked) and the herb oil but you don't need it. Was really looking forward to trying out this spot given the rating but not impressed.

We went to Macellaio RC Soho for a birthday lunch and from the very start the experience was exceptional. Vito welcomed us warmly and brought a glass of prosecco together with their signature lardo candle to enjoy with fresh bread, such an original and delicious touch that immediately set the tone. He took great care of us throughout the meal providing excellent recommendations and making the celebration feel truly special. We ordered a marango steak of over one kilo, perfectly cooked and full of flavour, the kind of meat that melts in your mouth. It looked like a huge portion at first but it was so tasty that by the end we could have easily had more. We paired it with tenderstem broccoli and glazed carrots, both cooked to perfection and a great complement to the steak. Everything from the service to the food was outstanding. A must visit for anyone who loves top quality meat and warm genuine Italian hospitality in the heart of Soho.

Dining on my own at a counter seat, which over looked the steaks being cooked on the grill. A cocktail and a couple of glasses of very nice wine. An unexpected appetiser of bread and melting bone marrow fat was lovely. I then went for the steak tartare, a t-bone with chips and honey carrots. All were delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. I have been to most of the top steak restaurants in London and this is right up there too The waiter was attentive without being a pain and the other few staff I spoke to were very cheerful. Thoroughly recommend this place, even if it’s a bit pricey

Overall it was a satisfactory meal. Unfortunately not up there with the best steak places in London. It had elements of good concepts, the set up, the steaks on show, the middle area with the open flame. A nice atmosphere. But the steak itself was ok at best, £69 for a single person steak. (Expensive) but didn't live up to the price tag. A decent size but the flavour and enjoyment was as good as I had expected. Dessert was poor, especially not having any ice cream or cream available, I ate at 5pm on a Saturday. That's not good enough. Is it worth a visit, I would say yes. Would i be returning, in short, no.

The meat was delicious! A great costata:) Service was on time and meticulous 100% recommend Amrutha’s (sorry if we got your name wrong) service was exceptionally pleasant and comforting. A couple of small points of feedback: - the other staff were also pleasant but seemed a bit rushed and a bit chaotic, lack of calm nice touch which would have fitted the evening and the ambience was missing - we understand the acrylamide policy in the UK, it applies to all restaurants and it is a part of food and safety but still thought the truffle fries could have had a bit more colour and crunch All in all, so good we will see you again ❤️

The atmosphere is stylish and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the service was warm and attentive. They have halal options available, which is always a plus. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, and the tiramisu was an absolute standout to finish. A solid choice for dining in the heart of Soho

Great vibe. Sat at the bar and enjoyed good recommendations and conversation with cheff Bishal, great, friendly service from Amrutha and Alex. Steak cooked to perfection; as weee all the sides. The tiramisu was an excellent afters, as was the grapa digestive. An overall great experience. We’ll be back!
