Fresh ingredients, great food, the best staff! This is a friendly, fresh and healthy option for lunch. We stopped by with no expectations and left happy with our experience. Recommended if you're around. A better and healthier version of Chipotle and Q'Doba. I tried the Lunch special with birria and it was legit. Really good flavors.

Had a very great first experience. Got a make your own bowl with bbq chicken. It was very good. The service was exceptional. And the atmosphere is very nice. Would definitely go back and highly recommend! They should open more locations.

The atmosphere is very peaceful and lovely. It's very festive and the drinks are delicious they gave us a sample while we were waiting in line. I love it

Oh, I will be back!!! The Too good to Go app brought me here but I also saw a TikTok about this restaurant. They are way better than Chipotle 💯 My chicken rice bowl was delicious 😋 The ingredients are fresh and healthy. As a community we need to make better choices and eat healthy foods. I want another chicken empanada! I want to try the nachos and a smoothie next time.

My first visit and this place was very clean. The food we order was good but they just forgot my sour cream for my quesadilla. I would definitely place a order again.

Pleasant experience each time we’ve visited! Amazing cx service, friendly, patient, several and several healthy options for the entire family! Check out the West Philly Caesar salad (no changes) & their variety of smoothies! My kids love the empanadas & chips kids meal with the pink sauce (no idea what it’s called) all seemingly fresh!! One of the better quality food options right in the Cobbs Creek section of West Philly!

I’ve only gotten delivery so I can’t speak on Service or Atmosphere but their food is delicious! I’ve been craving their chicken empanada pretty much every day since I first got it. Big portions, delicious food, and they have healthy options (that I didn’t get haha). I can’t wait to try their birria and shrimp but I’ve had the chicken in a burrito bowl and on the nachos now and it’s moist and flavorful The smoothies are great too!

Nice healthy meal! Only wish the chicken was a little bit tender. Otherwise — fresh ingredients! Macho’s Delish Mix is worth trying!

I've driven by this spot so many times and kept making a mental note that I wanted to try it one day... On the day of my visit, I wasn't far from the restaurant and wanted something different so I decided to give the place a try and I'm so glad that I did! I placed my order online and an estimated prep time was provided. When I made it to the restaurant, the food was ready to be picked up. I ordered a West Philly Caesar and a chicken empanada... the presentation of the food was great and it tasted great also! Fresh ingredients, generous portion sizes and good prices... I will definitely recommend and will certainly return!

Decided to take a drive to West Philly to Macho's Delish Mix. I've been wanting to try this place, and it was worth every mile! Street parking is in a residential neighborhood. When I went, it wasn't hard to find a spot. Walked inside, and it appeared to be clean. It's not big inside, but it's comfy enough to have a seat at one of the tables or sit at the barstools, where you can eat and look outside. I got in line and waited my turn. There are so many choices! For my bowl, I picked white rice with garlic shrimp, onions, tomatoes, corn, sweet potato, cheese, etc. Being excited by all the options (and a tad bit overwhelmed, lol), I didn't even hook up my bowl like I should have--next time! There are greens, different proteins, sauces, dressings, and more to choose from! I also ordered a spinach and cheese empanada, grabbed their sweet tea (they have several cold lemonades and teas to choose from and offer refills if you stay), and, lastly, one of my favorite desserts -- banana pudding! Everything tasted so good! I thought I was going to drive back home after ordering my food, but once I got in my vehicle I tried the empanada with the side of aioli sauce, it was over. Delicious! The bowl's portion was big enough for two servings. The sweet tea and banana pudding were yummy! Customer service was pleasant and patient. They even have a reward system (I love reward systems)! I will most definitely be back--I can't wait!

@machosdelishmix is definitely my new favorite obsession! This is a Black Owned business which is basically a mix of Chipotle and Cava vibes on steroids. They have even more options if you can believe that! (Personally Machos was better than both for me!) Machos has everything from empanadas, nachos, burrito bowls, burritos, quesadillas, smoothies, salads, and tacos. Their toppings, greens, and protein options are endless so perfect for anyone that has food allergies or sensitivities or if you're just trying to eat healthier! This fast causal Tex-Mex resturant is so delicious. A few of my favorite menu items were their loaded nachos, beef birria (was absolutely incredible & I would come back solely for that protein option), banana pudding, banana bread and the incredible smoothies! Everything that comes out of Machos is made daily, fresh with love and you can taste it! But truly everything at Machos made me do the happy dance I loved it so much! The owners, Ab and Sheldon were so friendly. They opened Machos about a year ago when they saw a need for healthier food options in the West Philly area! They are heavily involved in the community through youth sports and even have a bulletin board promoting other local small businesses in the area! So if you are in the area I would 1000% check out Machos! You truly cannot go wrong supporting this business and trying their incredible food!

This was our first time here. The staff was very nice. You was greeted when you can in the store. It was very clean, bright, colorful and a get place to take photos. Their is street parking in a residential area, on the corner and you can eat inside or outside. The store is small and their is two way that you can get to the store. While let me tell you about the food. It was fresh, smelling good, and a wide selection of vegetables, meats, and toppings. Everything was labeled so it was eazy to see what you was choosing for your order. We was so excited to be in the place. So when every you go take your time to look over the menu and looking on line because their is a lot to try. I can say I'm truly a foodie person and my husband is following along. I was all over the place with my decision. My husband know excited what he wanted. I didn't know what I wanted so it took me a little while for me decided. We order two medium smoothie and it was like juice not thick at all. So we won't be ordering that again. And when got our smoothie the young lady didn't give us the left over of ore smoothie while standing their waiting to pay she put it on the side to drink it. The food was good. And the prices aren't bad. If you order any food items and add on any meat, topping it will be an extra charge. I seen the manager's they was having a meeting or just taking at a table. When they seen that the store was getting crowded. They went in the back and wash their hands an put on gloves and start helping to get the line down. The food is made freash. When one of the transactions get low they are filling right up. I wish that we could've took a picture with the manger. Another thing that the mangers need to change is they is the shrimp. Because if someone is allergic to seafood. Look at the trays area and rearrange the steak the shrimp container. Juices from the shrimp and transfer all the top of the steak. When I ordered my sister tacos. The guy that was taking phone orders. That the shrimp juice dripped on the steak. So I couldn't get it on her tacos. Some people is Allergic to shellfish. Even a guy came from the kitchen from cooking and helped out with taking order. It's all hands on deck. We will be back and try something different. It was so crazy we went out there in the rain store just to try this new restaurant. Thank god we made it to the store. And made it safe home to enjoy our food. They ran out of menu. So we had to look at the one that was on the glass and also the electric one up on the wall. When you walk in the store you feel healthy, happy, hungry. To the owners wishing that y'all can invest in another Macho's Delish area. The Temple area North Philly, Bala-Cynwyd on Cityline Ave area. Because a lot of people would love to try the food and stay healthy. Check out the pictures below. And go try them out you won't be disappointed. And I gave the three four stars because of the shrimp juice and the smoothie extra.

I've been trying to get here for awhile. I finally stopped in to grab a salad and a few other goodies. I walk in and there was a refrigerated case with Seamoss gels, seafood salads, chicken salad, tuna salad, homemade Dominican punches and a bunch of other drinks. I ordered my food through the kiosk a basic create your own chicken salad. I also got a 1/2 pint of homemade chicken salad, 2 empanadas spinach & cheese and chicken & cheese. I got a fruit punch as well. The punch was delicious with pieces of watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple. The salad was ok a little wet before I even put dressing on it. Not sure what made it wet. The empanadas were good .. filling. I'll definitely go back cause they had a lot to choose from.

I came here because it had good TooGoodToGo ratings and really good Yelp reviews. And I also won a "bid" to get a random sampling. Upon arrival, I noticed the fresh vegetables salad bowl combinations and some of the cool, unusual drink flavors similar to a Cava or Zoe's Kitchen except Macho's stands on its own. It is a gem of a place in this section of West Philly that you wouldn't know if you aren't a local or into TooGoodToGo like me. The empanadas and spring rolls were fine and the sauce wasn't bad. I only had one of each a day at most as this is a lot for one person. There is a way to refry things without an air fryer so that things still taste reasonable but you have to know how to do it, can't be too picky, and it ain't the microwave lol. Staff is friendly and place is clean.

Very nice people! The inside has a lot of fans and is very cool. They practice sustainability and veganism so compostable bowls and utensils are complimentary with orders! And for the leftover from their smoothies, they give it out as samples. Sheldon was very courteous and his smile could brighten anyone's day! Love that they have ice cold smoothies in the hot weather!

Absolutely, undeniable the best around town. They atmosphere and the staff is a definite return to get more food and conversation.

Visited today. I had a taco bowl, and everything in it was delicious. The purple rice and beets were awesome. Everything was fresh and well prepared

I was so glad when this place opened in the neighborhood and I could not wait to try some of the healthy bowls or burritos or even the empanadas I have been hearing about! Came here with the family to support the local business and was greeted by staff who explained the salad or burrito building concept. The food items are named after famous Philly sports athletes which is cool. I ordered the "Chamberlain" salad with chicken, chickpeas, onions, and a cilantro lime dressing. The salad was pretty huge and I could only finish half! Definitely will be back to try a burrito!

1st time customer and they didn't disappoint!! They were all over Social Media so I had to try them out. Their customer service was excellent and the food was fresh!! No more of the other (2) chains for me.

Stopped in to grab lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was bright & clean. Staff pleasant and inviting. The food is reasonably priced and very fresh. I had no complaints about anything. Enjoyed everything we had. Banana pudding not pictured. Will be back again.

So great to have more healthy food options in the area. There is a nice variety of salad, rice bowls, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, smoothies and more. Plenty of grab & go options as well. I'm happy they are carrying soup for the winter. I loved the Dominican chicken & beef soup. Be sure to grab a banana pudding. The flavor & texture is incredible!

The service was poor when I went. My son and I waited ten minutes before we got waited on and when the girl started to take our order she walked away preparing an online order. I ordered chicken tacos and they had just put the chicken meat in the pan because the one in there was empty. long story short, the chicken was never heated it was cold to the touch, my son had steak and shrimp tacos, his was warm. He also ordered a burrito. My bill came to $45.74, six tacos and a burrito, I didn't order anything extra, all now I don't understand the charges. I'm never going there again.

This new gem in Cobbs Creek is worth a stop. Don't just drive by, stop and experience building your own bowl with a pleathers of choices to go inside. As a First-time customer, the owner was very patient and helped me select a sauce that would complement my selection of protein, greens, and other things I put in my bowl. My husband and I were greeted with a smile and a bright and clean environment that made us want to actually sit a while, but we had to go :( Once again, don't drive by, stop and experience Macho's!

Attempting to describe how delicious and healthy their food is would be impossible without using a string of words which fail to inform you better than you trying them out for yourselves. I tell myself to take a photo of my meal to post here, but when I get home all thoughts of anything except eating is lost. Everything is fresh. The restaurant is clean and bright. The prices are great and the team members are professional, personable, and accommodating. The establishment brings an ambiance to our neighborhood that I didn't realize was missing, but will drive to other areas of the city to enjoy. I'd rather stop there every day than go home and cook, but they're closed on Monday Try them out. You won't regret it.

Great location on 6249 Catherine St. I order the Cobbs Creek Cobb and The Beef So Mighty salad both were GREAT.The service was awesome and they substitute the tomatoes for me and I got the pita chips. You can eat in or take out.

So I was driving by randomly and noticed this restaurant which I've never seen before. Came in the next day and WOW! The food is delicious, the workers were very friendly and I'm so happy I decided to try them. I got the Chamberlain rice bowl that's customizable, a mango smoothie and an empanada. At first I was trying to remove the seal at the top of the smoothie, but I quickly realized I'm supposed to stab the straw and voila. The portion size for the rice bowl is huge and the ingredients are fresh. Even just looking at the mango pieces in my salad it is obvious everything is fresh. Also the food is made in front of you. Definitely will be back!

The Staff was super friendly and very helpful! We later found out that some of them are brothers who owned the place. It's only been open a few months and it was delightful! Portions were big. Food was fresh. Smoothies are out of this world! Wish I lived here so I could go back every week! Definitely stop here!

I'm so grateful this restaurant opened in the neighborhood. Serving a wide variety of fresh ingredients means you can go there and never get the same thing twice. The staff was friendly and generous with their time. I will be recommending this to all friends and family!
