The 13 Best Colombian Restaurants In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Macita’s has two locations in the southern reaches of Miami-Dade County. The one in Kendall makes a great beef sancocho, tostones with hogao, and arepas de choclo. The restaurant is part bakery too, and has a ventanita, so you can get a quick cortado and a warm buñuelo if you don’t have time to sit and eat. Even though it’s open until 9pm most days, it’s best to come here in the morning or for lunch, when everything from the bakery is still steaming." - mariana trabanino

The 5 Best Sancochos In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Go to Macita’s when you’re having an early morning sancocho craving. They also have a bakery, so an order of buñuelos to go with your 9am sancocho is a wise choice. If your server doesn’t offer it, ask for a side of salsa and proceed to add copious amounts to the broth. It gives the soup a kick that might just cure your sore throat. They make sancocho de costilla de res and carne de res. If you prefer fattier chunks of beef, get the one with costilla de res." - mariana trabanino

We had a Sancocho de Carne, Bandeja Paisa (pictured), Lengua a la Criolla, and Jugo de Guanabana en leche. The sancocho was delicious, the bandeja paisa was near perfect (the beans were over seasoned), and the lengua was a little tough but it tasted good. Our server was Alejandra D. and she was very personable, friendly, and helpful. We'll definitely eat here again.

I came here searching and craving for some Latin Colombian food and dinner was served! The atmosphere was quiet with beautiful pictures on the wall reminding me of South America and our waitress (i didnt catch her name) but she had tattoos. Our waitress, she was very attentive and gave me sauce! I can't wait to be back for affordable, filling cuisine.

My wife and I stopped for breakfast on a Sunday after church. The place looked pretty cute so we stopped in. We both ordered breakfast. I had a omelette in a croissant that came with hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were exactly like the ones at McDonald’s in my omelette in croissant was pretty dry and not that terrific. The restaurant was clean and a pretty nice atmosphere. The wait staff struggled to speak English, which made it less than ideal for ordering your meal and getting service. It was like they were afraid to come back to our table because they were uncomfortable speaking in English.

This place was empty except for 1 other table. I know why, after sitting to eat. The menu was half out of stock. The food was absolutely disgusting. No flavor. No water for anyone in the table so we got food without drinks then had to go find the waiter ourselves. Never coming back, save yourself the money and trip and go somewhere else.

My family ordered a turkey for Thanksgiving from this restaurant. Not only it was over priced ($230.00) but it was full of stuffing. The meat was taking out, almost completely. I wouldn't recommend this place for any occasions

Nothing like walking in and always being greeted by warm , delicious, fresh empanadas, or pan de Bono, and Bunelos. Hands down 1 of my favorite places. Family owned. Yes they have to other locations one in culter bay and the small arepa shop that started it all.

If you want a real Colombian chocolate this is the place. Everything on the menu is so delicious. You can either have a full meal from the menu or individual portions from the panadería. Also the service 👌👌👌Highly recommended. Plenty of parking.

I ordered mojarra frita and it was flavorless and dry. The salad was soggy and the fries were hard. I don’t recommend this macitas. The one near south dixie highway is way better
