Highlights

From plates to planters, teapots to tureens, MacKenzie-Childs designs are alive with individuality. Each piece created by our artisans holds the surprise and joy of the unexpected. Layer upon layer of artistry applied by hand to every inch of surface is our hallmark. And it's what makes every MacKenzie-Childs creation an original. Each handcrafted piece has a unique signature of its own and no two pieces are identical; this is the beauty of our handcrafted ceramics and home furnishings. An artisan's stamp or mark shows his or her contribution to each piece. In some cases, the contribution is a stage in the process, as in ceramics. In others, the application of decorative surface treatment may be the start-to-finish responsibility of one artisan.

The Best Stovetop Tea Kettles - Eater

"Despite the haughty name, MacKenzie-Childs’s kettles aren’t shipped from the U.K., but rather are produced and painstakingly hand-painted in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York." - Nikita Richardson

We had the best time here. Our guide through the farm house was incredibly knowledgeable and just a bit snarky, which I loved. Showed us the coolest little parts of their show house. Spoke about the history and how it relates to what we saw around us. I loved this tour and seeing the quirky-cool decor.

Such a fun and beautiful place to visit! We were able to tour the farmhouse and shop in the gift shop. Beautiful things but on the pricey side! Disappointed to see so many thing made in China too. A really great visit though!! Beautiful grounds and decor to admire!!

What an amazing experience. My husband surprised me and brought me here knowing how much I enjoy their stuff. The grounds are gorgeous. The views are beautiful and the store inside is huge. We went through all the stuff and brought home some cute things. The staff is kind and courteous. Exceptional customer service. I was like a kid in a candy store. A must visit if you enjoy collecting their products. I don’t understand the negative reviews.

What a beautiful place....I wish we could have walked around the property, but it was raining. That just means we will have to go back to do some more shopping. One wonderful thing is you can have your purchase shipped home....love that!!

Google
Beautiful facility with so many of their great designs. The rooms here go on and on and on! Great retail space with plenty of seasonal rotation on the show floor. Staff was friendly and personable!

Google
Fun to go look around. Unfortunately most items are imported and items made at shop are also high priced. But still nice to look around. Did purchase a insulated wine bag and it was put into one of their great looking shopping bags. Fun to sit on a $4000 chair I could never afford. Nice day trip

Yelp
This location went from being a regular store to an outlet. Depending on your pattern or what you are looking for you can find some real steals. That said I often don't buy anything my pattern is rarely more than 20% off. It is a fun place to take visitors or pick up some gifts to keep on hand like travel mugs or hand towels. It's a very large store probably 4-5,000 sq feet. They have started doing tours again. The grounds are beautiful,

Yelp
Absolutely love visiting the store. The property is stunning. All the workers are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend taking the house tour, it's a really unique experience. They have limited inventory, some is discounted. A little bummed that everything is no longer discounted and the prices aren't as great. The Christmas selection is great and that area of the store in stunning. There are plenty of wineries and restaurants in Aurora to visit and make a day out of it!

Yelp
I was a fan of McKenzie Child's quirky designs until I had a problem. Then I discovered their horrible customer service. They do not give a crap about you. I bought several of their tissue holders in the black & white check. After owning them for 3 or 4 months I noticed a red stain on my bathroom countertop. Turns out the enamel coating they applied did not adhere correctly or was too thin and the metal box was rusting. I contacted their customer service/sent pictures several times without reply. Several more attempts and I finally got them to respond. You are going to love this: they said that I bought a metal tissue box and what did I expect? They said sorry about my luck but there was nothing they could do for me! No, sorry about your luck! I'll never buy from you again. My advice to other potential customers is don't be sucked in by family friendly advertising - watch your back. There is nothing friendly or quaint about these guys! Buyers Beware!!

Yelp
Located on the outskirts of Aurora, New York is the most gorgeous farm you've ever laid your eyes on! The MacKenzie-Child's Aurora location is GORGEOUS! It's a lovely drive through the countryside to get there. Your trip will be full of wildflowers and beauty. Honestly, have someone else drive you there so you can actually enjoy the views. Upon arrival, you'll drive up a grand brick entryway to the cutest buildings. We visited on one of the barn sale days and had the opportunity to look through their entire discounted section which was an added bonus. I got to add a new Christmas decoration to my collection. The rest of our visited included marveling at the many well kept gardens and visiting their animals that are throughout the property. It was a beautiful, sunny day and there was not more that we could ask for!

Yelp
My aunt bought me a tea kettle as a gift in the summer. Because of family life and scheduling we did not get to see each other until after the holidays when she brought me the tea kettle she ordered for me. This item was still in the box it shipped. There were two large chips in the enamel of the kettle. When I emailed (because phone calls are not an option) with photos, the customer service folks informed me that since it was out of the 30 day return window, there is nothing they could do. Then i made the argument that even if out of the window, this is an indication of bad quality of craftsmanship. If the tea kettle chips in less than a year. ALSO when looking in the box there were no paint chips, so this was also sent in this condition. Their response was to offer me 20% off the purchase of a new kettle. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! So I replied that this is unacceptable and bad business practice. And they said there is nothing they can do. I know this kettle was a gift but i will NEVER purchase anything from this company!! UPDATE: They did eventually send me a gift card to replace the kettle. It took a few more rounds of back and forths with the customer service reps.

Yelp
Products came scratched. I contacted them twice and they got back to me. Bad products and bad customer service for how much they charge for their products.

Yelp
Get your cheap crap off the internet or improve your quality or lower your absolutely ridiculous prices. I read all the 119 BBB complaints and was one of the first to post on yelp about your quality issues and overpricing in 2018. It seems many other people are having the same issues and your brand is going down the tubes. The quality of the painting on your products looks like it was painted in a 5th world country. Ceramics are an exception to this as the artwork seems "okay". This morning I tried to order some clearance items as I'm not paying your ridiculous prices for cheap products anymore. You don't even have any customer service via phone to contact for orders, only email. Excuse me but when I'm trying to buy your $12,000 Boheme Daybed and can't on the internet how do you expect your customers to purchase it? Management and quality control are horrid, as you have destroyed the Mackenzie-Childs name. I was going to purchase another $50,000 worth of furniture for my new 7,000 SF home but have decided to change designers as your products are cheap crap now. I'm actually donating all of my pieces as I will never support this brand again. You have ruined this brand and it is just so sad to see as I was one of your biggest fans. The pieces I purchased in 2010 are COMPLETELY different in terms of quality than your used garage sale items of today. You are frauding your customers for your own pathetic financial gain. Pretty sad, Greed, it's an ugly thing. I see that you have coupled with Patience Brewster. Please don't ruin this name as you have done with MC. Folks, welcome to "skimpflation" we pay the same outrageous prices and get a chair that was made in Bali for $100 and we are charged $1,200. LOL! No thanks. Never again, I'm done. Pics are of the quality of the Mackenzie-Childs of today. Pretty sad.

Yelp
Purchased a beautiful teapot as an easter gift. With one use it chipped Immediately. So I guess this is for decoration only? I see another review regarding chips in the enamel meanwhile customer service is saying "their enamel is so strong" and we must have banged it??? Who walks around their house dropping and banging tea kettles...

Sona D.

Yelp
Worse customer service. The customer service phone number says that you only have to email. I emailed several times and no help whatsoever.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
All the pottery looked like Alice in Wonderland. Nothing unique for shape, color or style. Looked mass produced. And.....hugely expensive for what it is. If I'm going to buy an art piece I don't want something that hundreds of other people have. Other than an expensive sun tea pitcher nothing looked like something I'd use everyday. The shop was very nice. It's worth a look. Maybe your taste and budget. I did find it interesting. The town of Aurora was cool. The Aurora Inn was BEAUTIFUL.

Christine T.

Yelp
Awful, awful, awful customer service. In addition to not receiving a response to any emails sent per their specific instructions, it is impossible to contact them directly to speak with someone. Also, upon contacting 1 of their 2 locations, they were not helpful and dismissive. After spending over $50 to return an item costing ~$200, they still have not issued a refund, nor responded to any emails. Horrific customer service. Not worthy to be in business as they are not ethical, have no integrity to stand behind and be accountable for all the wasteful jargon they post as their business policies and practice.

Susan D.

Yelp
Do not honor their price adjustment policy; instead customer service...a misnomer....does not respond to the requested emails. I emailed them four times asking for a price adjustment of items I ordered and that went on sale four days later, and they just ignored the emails. I emailed them and asked for a phone number to speak with a manager...no response. Do not buy directly from their website. Better off going to a retail store such as Bloomies, Saks etc where they actually have customer service. They should be contacted by legal for not honoring what is written on their website.

Nassim D.

Yelp
Worst company I have dealt with in terms of customer service.. I have ordered 3 items valued at $350 and I was supposed to get in 7-10 days.. 2 weeks had passed with no delivery. I tried to call, didn't get any help. I sent emails, with no reply at all. I had traveled was out for a month. I came back and found them at my door step. I still have them in the boxes they came in as I was to take them as gifts in my trip.

Wendy O.

Yelp
I love the idea of Mackenzie-Child products and have lots. They just started an outdoor line that is obviously not handmade, but more durable. After ordering two topiaries to frame my front door for Christmas, they are only shipping one. The other is out-of-stock with no futures delivery dates guarantee. Since I cannot use one and they allowed me to purchase two, it is now MY responsibility to pay for shipping the lone topiary back to them. Not their responsibility to know their inventory, not their responsibility to let me know my order had changed, and not their responsibility to allow me to cancel the order or choose something else. All I wanted was my complete order or the option for a complete order for the holidays. Customer Service seems very removed from their issues with no plans to change their way of doing business.

Sharon B.

Yelp
Extremely poor customer service and excuses on shipping . Get the same "canned" message on shipping every time I try to get an update ..... due to heavy volume orders are delayed . Why don't they admit they are understaffed. I have now waited 7 weeks for a small order. This was a reputable company for years and it has steadily gone downhill. Don't bother to order if you need a gift ..... the event will be well behind you if you ever receive the order!

Yelp
The drive up the red brick driveway is lovely and leads you directly to parking and the entrance to the Studio and Farmhouse. The studio is appointed with every detail all in Mackenzie - Child's designs. Very nicely done ....where the aesthetic is "more is more"! Pillows with sewn appliqués range at a price point from $295 - $395. Smaller items are available for sale as well at lower price points. One item is MC Glow candles that are $24 for a pair of tapers. Take the time to view the grounds as they are beautifully manicured with hydrangea's and petunia's in bloom. Stop in to shop or admire the lovely architecture and grounds. One more comment, it is just outside the Village of Aurora, NY . Continue your sightseeing there to complete your visit to this quaint area!

Sam E.

Yelp
This was my first time at Mackenzie Childs and I loved every minute of it. We took the tour of the farmhouse and it was decorated for Christmas and was just beautiful. I loved all of the details and hidden surprises within the house. Our tour guide was awesome and was a wealth of knowledge. Of course we had go end our visit at the store and took advantage of the 20% one item discount. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Heather D.

Yelp
I was in the area and wanted to stop here after hearing about them for years. There's a lot to see though I feel less than I imagined. Still if you can appreciate art for what it is then it's worth a stop. I did not purchase any items. Not really my style. Though I did enjoy visiting and browsing.
google avatar

Kaelah S.

Yelp
I was so excited to visit the MC outlet but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. Many pieces were hardly discounted and the selection was not what I had hoped for. In particular, I am a fan of the blue Courtly Check and I think the selection here was worse than my local department store! Save your time and order online.
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
I ordered and just received their tulip lams. Absolutely adore them! They were so well packed and are beautifully made. I was looking for the perfect match for my Yves delorme bedding. Could not be happier!
google avatar

LynAnn M.

Yelp
Do not waste your time going to the outlet. The displays and discounts are not worth your time or gas. Many items were cheaper on line and the selection was terrible. I was expecting a beautiful show room at least. This was such a disappointment.

Terri M.

Yelp
I have been reading the horrible online reviews about MacKenzie-Childs. I have been collecting their pieces since 1985 and, wow, have things changed and not for the better! The workmanship quality has totally bottomed out and the words "customer service" were obviously removed from their company vocabulary. Everything that I have been reading about the terrible customer service is exactly what I have been experiencing also. They had a manager by the name of Luna who was just incredible and I enjoyed visiting with her. I wonder if she is still there. I certainly cannot call there because no one answers the phone anymore. They use COVID as an excuse for EVERYTHING! I just received three sets of the Patience Brewster Easter eggs and I was so excited until I removed them from the boxes. I was so shocked at the very poor quality and painting! The photos on the Web site do not look anything like what I received. What a huge disappointment for this purchase. I will be saving a lot of money this year!

Yelp
I visited for the barn sale and it was quite an experience! We waited in line for about 30 minutes but it went by quick. You can take pics in line and purchase drinks. Once you're in the tents for the barn sale, it's HOT. Like sauna hot. Dress accordingly! If you go in the shop or the Farm House, you'll find air conditioning. The sale has most of their products available for 50% off. New styles weren't available (like Royal Check) under the tent but were in the store for 20% off. There were daily deals under the tents that had an extra 20% off and some items were marked as 70% off the original price. If you're not sure if you want something, grab it so you don't have to go searching for it again. If you change your mind, they have restock shelves under just about every tent. Check their website for the daily themes for the barn sale so you can dress up! Bring water and a folding utility cart if you have one.

Yelp
I wish I had read the more recent reviews before purchasing. I placed an order on July 1st from the gift registry for a friend's wedding. It is now August 12th, the wedding was August 8th and the gift still hasn't shipped. Rather embarrassing to have to include a catalog picture in the wedding card and unable to tell the couple when they can expect the gift. Numerous emails sent to customer service were responded to with the usual boilerplate bs but no follow-up emails or resolution. I, foolishly, also ordered from the online barn sale. While they did include a caveat that shipping would take several weeks(really?), I'm not expecting those items to ship in this calendar year. Abysmal service. I may continue to attend the barn sale because it is great fun with friends but I'll never order online again.

Yelp
We enjoyed a spontaneous stop at this wonderful 65 acre store in upstate New York. I wish I'd had the foresight to coincide the visit with the farmhouse tour but then it wouldn't have been spontaneous and you can't have everything. Still, it would have been fun to see Mackenzie furniture in its natural setting. The merchandise is definitely whimsical. I wouldn't mind a few pieces dotted around my house but it's way expensive. One day! I read somewhere that the tiny town of Aurora has about 500 residents most of them who are employed by Mackenzie-Childs. Yet another New York, Made in America kind of place that made my heart sing.

Yelp
Be sure to arrive in time to get a tour of the house! There is no charge for the free tour and our guide was very sweet and full of detailed information about the house's interior and its furnishings. Even if you don't like the style, you'll marvel at the artistic design and over-the-top creativity of each remarkable room. The enormous shop carries an extensive inventory of all of their products and is fun to roam. The grounds are lovely and well-kept and would be a nice place to sit and eat a picnic lunch. Don't let the prices in the shop keep you away from this gem. No one is forcing you to buy. Just enjoy the no-charge ambience of being surrounded by lovely things.

Chris S.

Yelp
They have truly ruined their store transforming it into an outlet store. The store used to be fabulous, now its like a overpriced garage sale. Too bad, people drive a long distance and other then viewing the beautiful grounds, the store is awful, have no idea why the turned it into an outlet store, bad management decision!
google avatar

Liza W.

Yelp
I would leave less than 0 stars if possible. Placed an order and July and still haven't received it. All I want is for it to be canceled and no one will respond to me. Im so frustrated to have my money tied up for this long. Horrible customer service. Never again.

Mary J.

Yelp
I have always been a courtly check fan, so when I saw the daisy check towels, I bought some! They are TERRIBLE. If they could actually absorb water I could overlook the fading (after the FIRST wash) but they neither absorb or look decorative now that I washed them! DO NOT BUY THEIR TOWELS! They are very poor quality.

Ruth C.

Yelp
Awful. Very expensive and ugly stuff. I can't believe that I actually made the drive to this place. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Truly horrendous.
google avatar

Gina W.

Yelp
Not sure what happened on our visit today. First off I had placed an order 12 days ago and not recieved it. I asked one of the sales girls if they could check on my order ( it was a gift for a relative's birthday thinking delivery would be less than 1 week) I just wanted to check. First I was told I would be notified of delivery time. It was not my first online order. She quickly followed up "I am not able to look it up". Can I cancel my order since the items I ordered were at the store. " no we cannot do that". Ok. Followed up that there is a long delay for my items. I was not told this at time of order. The attitude was not good. I made a purchase which seemed too complicated for them to do. I also purchased candles and asked if they could bubble wrap them as the last time I bought candles they broke. The answer was no! There was bubble wrap right behind the sales girl. She did wrap the candles in tissue paper. I bought bubble wrap after shopping. The whole atmosphere has changed. We were surprised how the staff were. I am hoping it was a bad day for everyone. The price you pay for items you should receive great service. Enamal ware is made in Taiwan. The clay pottery on site. The quality has gone down some. I must say we still LOVE going there on vacation. Love the house tours as well. I understand an equity firm has taken over which concerns me. I am sadden you can purchase items on Amazon, Walmart and from Evine not as special now to me. I LOVE many items and will continue purchasing gifts but not as much.
google avatar

Meredith B.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Ordered gift a week ago and I have heard nothing.Has not shipped. They Do not answer phone or respond to emails. I do not know when the item I ordered will arrive and it is a gift.
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
I ordered several items (water pitcher and 2 grinders) which totaled $426.51. Along with the order was a promotional for a snow globe for orders of 250 dollars or more. I received my items but no promotional gift as promised. I called customer service. They said they "ran out". No offer of anything else as a substitute, not any attempt was made to make the customer feel valued for the misunderstanding. I found their attitude unhelpful and it has totally soured me on the company and brand. Online, they practice what is informally called "bait and switch", misleading the customer by adding promotions and then claiming no more gift supply. I actually ordered more items so I could get the snow globe. I feel totally cheated. I will never buy online from Makenzie-Childs in Aurora, NY.

Julie C.

Yelp
I used to live in upstate NY and loved Mackenzie Childs. I would count down the days until the annual barn sale. it saddens me to hear that they've turned the Aurora store into an outlet. Maybe on paper this looked like a good plan to a corporate accountant, but what sold the MC product was the marketing.... it was the MC experience of visiting the over the top showroom and farmhouse, going to the barn sale with friends and enjoying a day in the Finger Lakes. No online shopping experience can replace that. I will continue to enjoy the MC pieces and memories i have but they have lost me as a future customer.
google avatar

Debbie V.

Yelp
I placed an order through the knot wedding website on August 5th. I was charged at that time and a email indicated I would be given further updates as to shipping progress. It is now August 20 th. NOTHING! No response to 5 emails which is the only available contact on website. I do receive daily email advertisements from them . Shower is the 23rd and the item cost over one hundred dollars. I now see this is common practice . If you can't handle the orders don't charge first and give a warning! At least respond to emails. I shop online daily and this is the first complaint I've ever written !

Ashley P.

Yelp
Shame on you MacKenzie Childs! Your customer service department is atrocious. The last time I checked, when you spend over $100 on a teapot, it shouldn't turn BROWN. When I reached out to your customer "service" department (by email), I was told I could pay to have the teapot sent to Aurora and evaluated (I have to pay to have a defected teapot evaluated??). Keep spending the money on the "influencers" on Instagram... you are only hurting your loyal customers by not honoring them.

P N.

Yelp
I just don't understand. So $$$ and not hand thrown, and it looks like the Easter bunny threw up on it. We are sheep. Just stop please. Prettiest thing was outside.
google avatar

Marti G.

Yelp
I came with my mom to help shop at the famous barn sale. We were prepared for a long line but this year it just about doubled (even when we arrived later in the day when there are supposed to be less people). The prices on all the items also increased since the past few years (meaning the 50% off tag on the reduced price meant nothing when you saw it shopping). With that said, MC housewares are beautiful and they carry so many very special pieces that give your home a unique flair, specially from upstate ny. Almost everything here makes a great gift too. Also everything is reduced at the barn sale so if you are gonna buy from here, this is the time. You can order from the catalog throughout the year but if you are in upstate it's definitely worth coming to visit the studio and shop. The property is huge, beautiful, and right on the lake. It's a fun place to go shopping for the day, have lunch in the cute town of aurora nearby, and enjoy the beautiful waters of keuka lake.

Yelp
We were present on Saturday for their annual barn sale. It was a disaster. Like they had never had a crowd before. Computers went down for over an hour, and things went VERY down hill after that. we would have left, except we were in the middle of a purchase. Will never go back, NEVER EVER. www.digitalsparkmarketing.com

Adam M.

Yelp
So disappointed! Just recently learned of this company and was ready to make them part of my regular websites to order from. Placed my first order and have waited and waited and waited... Nobody can tell me when (or if) it will ship. Customer service is a JOKE! Would rather argue with their customers instead of helping them. Do NOT buy from them if you actually want to receive your product!
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
I guess if someone can give 1 star because Mackenzie doesn't suit their taste, I'll give 5 because it suits mine just fine. ;-) Mackenzie-Child's is located in Aurora, about 50mins from Syracuse. I love the shop, the barns and the farm house. The gardens are nice, the geese are aggressive but behind fences, and the greenhouse is pretty cool. I enjoy everything about the Mackenzie shop, excellent service, whimsical items priced insanely and a sprinkling of fairy dust. On several occasions I've called ahead and picked up the item. Everyone is extremely accommodating. Make sure you get on their mailing list as they have weekend specials here and there for 20%off, as well as their big Barn Sale in July, which is the equivalent of an old ladies blood sport, but you should attend at least one.

Yelp
I ordered two candle sticks with autumn silk plants by Mackenzie-Childs from online vendor. Both items were delivered broken. I do not believe they were damaged in transit because both items were well packaged. I was under the impression that the quality of the product was less than average. The silk flowers that topped the arrangement were of very cheap quality too. I had to return both products, and had to deal with FedEx messing up the pick up days. Overall, the whole experience was awful, and I wasted a lot of time for nothing.

Deborah G.

Yelp
Ordering from MacKenzie Child's is a joke- no updates as to when your order will be shipped and direct inquiries result in no concrete information- they basically have no idea. I have ordered twice in the past 5 months, the first order I received 2 of the 3 items in 4-6 weeks, after 3 months I received an email that the third item was sold out- it takes 3 months to figure this out?? The second order was placed in early November, still waiting for 1 item, which is a Christmas gift- again, no updates, no information.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Horrible customer service!! Placed an order on July 3, still haven't received! I've called several times and nobody can give me a time frame of shipping. I asked for a supervisor, but they would not oblige. Would never purchase here again simply because they have no clue what they're doing. Every time I've called, I'm told the items are in-stock, so back-ordered items are NOT the issue. Told that the items are "in the warehouse".

Jerica D.

Yelp
If you've never taken the tour of the house-it's worth going for sure! It's so interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed it!! The tour guide was great and full of fun facts-which made the tour unforgettable! It's a masterpiece to say the least!!! Thanks PATTI!! The tour was unforgettable and you were so sweet!!

Yelp
I placed an order with MacKenzie-Child's on 7/25/20 and a second order on 7/28/20. Both orders are still open in their system and I have not received my merchandise. I have emailed 3 times without receiving a response.Their Customer Service is not taking phone calls due to Covid so I tried calling the store in Aurora. I left 2 messages requesting a return call regarding my orders and that never happened either. It seems like MacKenzie-Childs may be on their way to going out of business. I'm highly disappointed.

Yelp
Love love love going to Mackenzie Child's!! It's a fabulous experience any time of the year!! The house tour is an absolute must if you've never done it! You can't help but pick something up at the shop! All the associates are so helpful and kind!! My husband even likes coming and I'm the one with the obsession!! The best little get away ever!!

Yelp
Love their products, but their Return Policy stinks! Returned the black and white polkadot robe because it was 4" too long in the sleeve. I took it to the Post Office, as I was advised by MC personnel that it would be the cheapest way. Was shocked that it cost almost $25 to return. I have never paid more than $14.95 for any apparel return on the internet. This was a $185 robe. As much shipping as they do, you would think they would offer a fair price to return their item. I plan to use Neiman-Marcus for future MacKenzie items and their returns are free...now you know why they have a great online business! (And, you do not have to purchase $150 in order to get free shipping as MC requires the majority of the time!) MC usually has great products, but their Customer Service needs some work!!!

Yelp
I agree about the horrible customer service. I have a 5 qt casserole pot and used it about no more that 5 times. I contacted customer service about it being chipped on the inside and out in different places. I was told that it was most likely caused by high heat or that i must have damaged it myself while hand washing it. They offered for me to send it back and 10%f off of purchasing a new one. Not kidding...They are adamant about not taking it back, even a replacement. So disappointed because the pot is $195. Very hesitant about spending money on other items.
