We had a big group of adults and teens to get a club team bonding dinner and placed food orders in advance. When we arrived, the round tables were separated, and of course, some of the parents were separated from others. The team teens were also sitting in a long row, which got luck of communication between everyone.
That was sad, because in the nearest open space of the restaurant were a lot of unoccupied tables.
The food service took a very long time. Some of us have already finished, when others are still waiting for service. Also, for some foo, it was visible that it was prepared a way ahead and was slightly warmed up.
Pizza was fresh, and tacos were with heated up fish, Korean salmon with dry rice, and fresh broccoli and sweet peppers, which were supposed to be steamed. Pasta was OK.
Beer was out, and only one kind available from the list.
The manager came to celebrate that service was done and everyone is happy and started clapping, when we pointed out that some people were still waiting for their food. So silly.
We understand that this "event" was their big serving task, and get them some points, but charging us 20% tips automatically without giving other choices based on service experience... that was not good.
