Sliders came with 3 but ate two before the picture. Food was delicious! The cooks truly took pride in what they do. The crust on the pizza was like garlic sticks, so soft! You could smell the fresh basil and the sliders were cooked just right! Definitely home made fried onions. Great place to eat good food in a chill place and watch the games and live hockey! While it was her first day, Shylin did a great job!

We went there about a month ago 12 ladies that get together monthly… And we had the best waitress. I believe her name was Dallas and I have been wanting to write this review all this time and I keep forgetting… Exceptional food but the cook obviously does not know how to serve 12 people… It was sad because the food was exceptional. I had the steak bites and I would go back there any day and have them again but six people ordered pizza with salad and four or five ordered pizza with soup or a sandwich with soup or soup and an appetizer I think there were six bowls of soup and all of them were not even lukewarm. They all took a bite and it tasted wonderful, but the temperature was terrible so they all went back and then it was downhill from there. All of our food was wonderful but when our Entrées came out. Most of them were called to the only thing was hot was the pizza so my steak bites had to go back, the soups were finally warm or hot my eyes say, but it wasn’t the same soup. The soup that came out cool was thick and creamy. The soup that came out hot was thin and runny, but it had the same taste that Part was odd… But Dallas was wonderful and the food taste is exceptional. The prices are great. The place is a fun great environment. Please go visit this place that maybe don’t take 10 people ha ha ha ha ha.

First time eating here and we will definitely be back. Food was excellent, the service was fantastic and the view from the balcony was extremely pleasant. This is inside the hockey arena with coffee stand, a bar and lots of TV's to watch sports. A+ don't miss it. Pretzel sticks were fantastic, and the flat bread and pasta at definitely going to be on repeat for ordering.

My first time trying this place that’s 30 minutes from me, first you walk up to the entrance and there are no signs saying to seat yourself so you have to hope someone will let you know. We were seated and our order was taken quickly however the waitress didn’t say they were an hour behind getting food out . An hour waiting for our lunch, then the food was ok, our waitress was the best part of the experience. The prices were decent. If you’re hungry & you go here find out the wait time first!

Nice, clean, and spacious! Their pizzas are absolutely on point. House made dough, and you can tell. We’ve tried both the thin and regular crust, and they’re both excellent. Bartender Shannon is very attentive and knowledgeable. This space would also be great for large groups!

Worst service you can imagine. Nobody ever wiped down my table and it was disgusting. It took about 25 minutes before anyone came over to take an order. They brought it the food but didn’t bring any silverware or napkins. After 15 minutes sitting there and not having anyone come by, I had to walk up to the bar to get my silverware and napkins… then again… never saw anyone while eating or to bring me my check…. I had to walk up to the bar to get my check and pay. The staff is completely checked out. Food is okay. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good… just food. A burger, salad and 1 beer was $40… it wasn’t worth $40. I will never go back.

Food that we got was wonderful. Took a while to get it, but it was delicious. We had four people in our group and the other three ordered pizza’s. I ordered a burger and their pizza came out and was great. My burger never came out and when we asked the waiter, he asked if I was sure that I ordered it. Like I said, the food that we got was great, but it left me with a weird feeling that he asked me that and that there was not much of an attempt to apologize.

Great menu selection, assortment of beers, TVs with variety of programming, responsive staff, unique atmosphere. Ordered the (thin crust) ‘Madison’ pizza & Coors Light draft. Perfect! Plenty of seating for larger events or groups. Views of ice arena and seating for patrons to eat, drink, and enjoy. Somewhat hidden sports bar themed restaurant in Lifeguard Arena in downtown Henderson. Our first visit was enjoyable. It won’t be our last.

Went last night to catch the Christmas parade on the patio, and it was a blast, thanks largely to our server Dallas! The service was top notch. She was incredibly attentive our drinks were always full even with the whole patio being slammed for the parade view. The food was delicious! The pizza was hot, fresh, and exactly what we needed on a chilly night. We also had some near by rude customers that she handled with total professionalism and grace. Highly recommend stopping by, and if you can, ask for Dallas!

They have the best wedge salad!!! My best friend and I came for a Monday night dinner and the food was great! They have a view of the hockey rink and have a pub vibe. We each ordered a salad, shared a flatbread and an appetizer. The southwest spring rolls were really good! 10/10 recommend. The server was also really nice.

The service is not good unless you seat at the bar. The waiter takes too long for to provide the service. They had to re-do the food for my nephew because they didn't do it correctly the first time. At least he told me why his food was taking too long. The ambience is busy since is game day. I asked for all drumsticks for the chicken wings and the order was not right.

Another messed up order. This is their idea of a burger with raw onion and guacamole. This place is trash

Staying at a hotel downtown and ordered some takeout dinner from here for the fam. This restaurant is located inside some sort of hockey arena which was cool. You have to go upstairs to enter the restaurant. The service was actually really good from the lady that took our order to the gentleman that served it to me and made sure I had extra plates and napkins. However the food is very mediocre, especially compared to other restaurants on Water st. But I'm sure this is a great place to grab a beer and watch a friend/ kid play some hockey. I do have to note that I ordered my wife a margarita to go and we didn't receive it, which was rectified once we called and refunded. Just a little heads up to check your order before leaving.

I'm really sad to hated to rate so low. We've actually come here four or five times and I've waited to do an updated review hoping that I could do a higher one. The staff is friendly and nice and the drinks are good, but oh my goodness it is so slow. Every time I have gone, it takes at least 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. There is a waiter. There is a gentleman who I have get to get his name who is absolutely amazing and friendly. He's often there running the primary dining area on his own and he makes it OK somehow. Again, it's not that the people are rude but for the price that you're paying, it is unbelievably slow. The food is almost always cold or lukewarm by the time I get it. And I'm not really a salad girl when I go out to eat. This last time was probably our last because as we were sitting in the main area, there was a probably five-year-old girl and her brother running around screaming throughout the dining room and at one point, the father let her sit up on the bar top and was just hanging out there Next to a bunch of people drinking. Such a bummer because I love the location and the way everything's laid out and the drinks are great.... again a little overpriced, but anyway wish them the best

This place has so much potential. Great drink list great food menu, great location. We arrived at 11, ordered drinks at the bar, and apps. As the lunch rush began, you could tell they were very understaffed. Whoever brought out the flatbread I ordered apologized it was "wonky and overcooked" and was having them remake it but presented the old one to me in the meantime so I would have something to snack on while I waited. My main course came, the Korean BBQ Salmon Bowl and it was cold. I inquired about the fresh flatbread that was supposedly being made to the runner who brought my Korean Bowl and she seemed quite irritated that I inconvenienced her with the question. Long story short this is a great place to get a beer and watch hockey. Don't expect much in food or service. But for what it is, it has so much potential. Hey redone flatbread finally arrived! It looks nice but it's cold. ‍

We stumbled into this place on a random Saturday and were impressed to find hockey games playing. We grabbed a seat by the window overlooking the ice and enjoyed several drinks and an appetizer. Restaurant was clean, servers were prompt and informative! Prices were all very reasonable and the appetizers (garlic cheese bread) were just what we were looking for! We will be back.

If you're looking for a restaurant where you can watch the Silver Knights practice, look no further than MacKenzie River, Grill, & Pub on Water Street in Henderson! MacKenzie River is located inside the America First Center (formerly Lifeguard Arena), which is the main practice area for our fellow Knights. Just walk up the steps from the street, go through the automatic doors, and boom, it's right there in front of you. Originally we wanted to do takeout, but seeing that we were able to seat ourselves, we chose to dine-in instead. They have numerous high-top seating areas overlooking the hockey rink separated by a large window, which is totally awesome. After finding a table, we pulled up their menu by scanning a QR code on our phones, though we were given physical menus when our waitress came around. For our starters, we chose to share a plate of street corn nachos. These nachos were the bomb! They were topped with corn, melted cheese, sour cream, chicken, and cilantro, with two lime wedges on the side. I'm already becoming hungry by writing this review because these nachos were so good. For our pizza, I got the Good Ol' Boy and my boyfriend got the Stockman, both small. We did have to wait a while for our waitress to come around, and we waited an additional 20-25 minutes for both our nachos and pizza to come out, but I am not docking any stars due to the slow service because I really enjoyed what I got. The Good Ol' Boy was packed with pepperoni, and I mean PACKED. Like every inch of my pizza had pepperoni on it where I couldn't see any cheese. I ate about three pieces before deciding to take the rest back home with me. The Stockman was topped with pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage, and steak strips. My boyfriend commented that they had some excellent pizza here, and he also decided to take his leftovers back with him. Now I really want to come back just for their nachos and pizza! Parking was incredibly easy - we parked in the parking garage across the street from this establishment, which actually had a few open spaces on the first floor, and walked over from there, even though it was super windy that night. Excellent place!

I've been coming here with my family since it opened and no one ever told me about the app for the rewards until today. Bobbi Jo our waitress pointed it out to us, helped me with my sign up, and I immediately began reaping the rewards. The food was as good as ever. The beer was cold and delicious and Bobbi Jo was attentive, engaging and informative. She was very good at her job. See you guys next weekend.

McKenzie River Pizza Grill & Pub in Henderson was fantastic! We had the cheese pizza, bison chili, and the seasonal goat cheese salad. All of it was delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our server, Bobbie Joe, gave excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food, great service--we'll definitely be back!

As always this restaurant did amazing! We had a birthday party and the food was great, service was top notch! Would recommend!!

Went with a group of 19 and our server was outstanding! The chicken eggrolls were good but needed more avocado. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I would add some signage outside. I had to wander a bit.

I grew up in Henderson but moved away about 5 years ago. I came back and to my surprise, this awesome ice rink had been built in the water district, with an accompanying restaurant. This place is cool. It's modern, clean, and overlooks both skating rinks. So if you're lucky, you can catch some games while you eat. The service was great. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. She even randomly brought some goldfish for our toddler. The food was all good. I got the nachos, which come with blue tortilla chips and stacked like a sky scraper! I look forward to returning here on my next trip to Henderson/vegas

I've here for several tournaments and have eaten quite a few times. The place is great as far as location, seating and watching sports and the menu and food are very good. But they always seem understaffed. It takes forever for a server to greet you and even longer to come back and take your order, even when it's not busy. When it's busy it really takes forever to get served. It can even take a while to get a drink at the bar. It's great having a place like this at the rink, I just wish they would staff it properly.

Came down for Hot Rods night, sat on the patio. Really great food and really great service. Bobbi Jo was our server and she was amazing! New favorite place!!

This place is actually really good and the fries are amazing!!! We bought a ton of shirts on the first floor in the Arsenal for our team ahead of the 2023 Stanley Cup which they won woot go Knights! Decided to get lunch and went upstairs to the MacKenzie. It was a Thursday at noon and poor guy was the only waiter or staff I could see besides the bartender and he did an amazing job just took longer than normal. We sat ourselves at one of the high tops. I love that there's a view of the rink so you can watch anyone practice on the ice! HAPPY HOUR | MON - FRI | 3-6 PM Food: - Burger: Californian $14.75 Stamped on top with the Knights logo which is awesome I love the cool details 1/2 lb all-beef burger with pepper jack, hickory smoked bacon, fresh guacamole & pineapple salsa on a brioche bun it was so good The fries that came with it were amazing and perfectly fried. I'd come back just for fries haha

They were absolutely amazing and so accommodating! We had a large party, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They split our checks four ways without any hesitation, and every time we ordered extra food or drinks, they were right on top of it. The service was friendly, efficient, and super attentive. They truly made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable for everyone in our group! And being able to see the ice below from the restaurant was a great touch!

Bobbijo was our server and she was fantastic! We ate outside while the Hot Rod Days on Water St was going full blast. This place is always good but today was spectacular.

We're regulars here. We essentially live at the hockey rink with multiple kids playing. It's so easy to come get great food with great service. One of our favorite servers is Bobbi! She is always so attentive, we love seeing her when we come in! All the staff and new management have been great. Weve been coming a long while and recently these servers and management have been the best.

I had the steak bites and they were rubbery and tasted a little off. Ended up with the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced.

Service is ok if you count only 1 person focused on you. The bartenders so busy chatting with each other couldn't even hear me ask for a refill of water and the carafe was right by her. Food is just gross. I had the chicken chili, here I am hoping for ground chicken and beans in a more lighter look, but I got canned chili beans with strips of maybe Tyson's grilled chicken in there, which was dry by the way. Chili wasn't even hot. I ordered buffalo wings and I swear it may have been someone's leftovers. Wings were cold and dry, tasted like day old wings. Only thing that was hot was of course the stuff they can easily deep fry, the fries and mini corn dogs. I also had the cheese pizza regular crust. Crust was fine and cheese was great but the sauce was tart, it tasted like it came straight out of the can, my kid whole loves pizza barely ate any. $80 for that disgusting waste. My kids got hungry and my eldest son had his game there, never again. Down the street at Waterfront pizza is a much better option, we went there the day before prior to a game. If you want to sit for a beer I think that's the best ambiance you will get because the food is pretty horrible. They weren't busy either, maybe 5 families and mostly from our team, only because they had zero options. Maybe they'd get a better review if I just fed my kids the fries and mini corn dogs that all they had to do was through in the deep fryer, luckily that wasn't messed up.

The food is excellent with large portions and and an extensive menu. Our server was Janell and she is really great. She is fast, attentive and always in a great mood & fun. Their seating is huge and if you want to watch the Silver Knights practice, you can sit by the glass. The customer rewards (Members Monday" is fantastic. Every Monday they email a free offer like free appetizer, price discount or double points etc to their members. Family friendly atmosphere with large flat screen screens everywhere.

Corrected text: It was my first time visiting there as a customer. I delivered a lot of their food through Grubhub and figured I needed to try this place out. It's a huge restaurant that's really clean and inviting. They also have seating outside on the balcony as well. Erin, my server, was very sweet and kind but also professional, and she was there whenever we needed something. Her service is exactly what you want when you go out to eat. I ordered the Rise and Shine burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Everything was perfect, and I had a great time with my friend; he enjoyed himself too. Definitely go here if it's your first time in Henderson.

Husband and I had dinner on April 27. We waited 20 minutes for staff to contact us even though we saw waitstaff contacting several other people near us. A manager eventually took our order and assigned us a server. I noticed there was no avocado on my sandwich as described in the menu. When we let our server know, he acknowledged it but didn't apologize or take a small percentage off our bill. Disappointe.

Definitely recommend eating here! Bobbi Jo was great and the overall good was amazing.

I officially have a place where the Bar tenders make me want to come back!! Sarah and Jed are absolutely on point here. When my group comes in we don't even need to give our order, within a few moments they are bringing our favorite drinks and a great attitude . They both spend most of their time hustling out drinks for other patrons and still fit in time to converse with us. Whether we are waiting on our hockey player to finish practice or just in for a beer my group loves their service. When we come in and they are not here we usually walk out because the other bartenders are too busy talking to the other staff or standing around causing us to wait a long time just to get an order in and it really sucks. Thank you Sarah and Jed for a great experience.

Great Spot for St. Paddy's Day Weekend Stopped by Mackenzie River Pizza on Water Street during St. Paddy's Day weekend and had a great time. The place was packed with people celebrating, but the service was still fast and friendly. We walked right up to the bar and were served right away,easily the shortest wait we had all day for drinks. The bartender (the one with the accent) was great, super friendly and quick, even letting us sample a few beers we hadn't tried before, despite how busy it was. She also mentioned all night Happy Hour on Thursdays, which we didn't even know about. Seemed like a great deal, so we're planning to come back for dinner this week. Solid spot, great service, and a fun atmosphere definitely worth checking out.

I visited the restaurant on Friday, May 2, 2025. I ordered a burger and a couple of drinks. The grizzly burger was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The margarita was phenomena. Our server, Dallas, went above and beyond, accommodating every request with a smile. i will be visiting more often and requesting Dallas as my server.

Been to this locaton a few times. The food never disappoints. Highly suggest the hot hawaian pizza as well as the pear & bleu cheese flatbread. Fair prices too. Nice laid back atmosphere.

How disappointing!! What nitwit decided to put signage on all entry door which advised " entrance closed", sending the Reader to the next entrance only to find the same sign, and on and on.? If this was meant to be a joke, it wasn't funny! If it was meant to be informative, someone needs to be fired immediately!

My husband and i came in last night, it was quite busy. We were sat by Bobbi Jo she took our drink order right away and notified she had one table ahead of us and gave us a run down of the menu and the rewards program. She ran to the next table returned to check if we were ready to order. We were not. We then saw her running around and we realized she was the only server on the entire floor as well as one bar tender. How can a company run a restaurant with two people on the floor? She returned and we ordered a small cob as an appetizer and a large pizza. The pizza was brought out by a food runner before the salad??? I wasn't going to post because places have off days. A salad and a pizza at an hour and a half?? Doesn't make sense. Service was informative and pleasant how she kept her cool was beyond my husband and I. If you want to wait 1 1/2 hours for a pizza and salad this is your go to place. Only reason i am giving 3 stars is service based. The food... idk whos cooking it but needs improvement. We wont be coming back

Great service, great drinks, great food! Fun atmosphere, above the ice rink... so you can watch games on the sports bar tv or hockey games on the ice! Bartenders Erin and Jim will take care of you... so down to earth and chill. 10/10 recommend.

My family came in on July 17th 2024 @ 3pm. We stood at the front and no one came to seat us. We grabbed our own menus and utensils and sat down. Bar tender was tending to Two hot men and didn't bat an eye or told us anything. I called the phone number and asked how can I get service as we have waiting for 20 minutes. The cook manager Robert was very nice and gracious. Came and Said the bar tender was our waitress. Service was bad. Robert was great. Food was okay nothing great. Not coming back. Poor service food was okay nothing special. Gave the cook $20 tip. Gave the rude waitress no tip because she had a bad attitude because we intetprurted her conservation with the hot men.

This place is a hidden gem, although it's on Water Street. Many probably don't stop by as it's on top of the hockey rink and can easily be missed. The place is nicely kept and lots of open seating. The biggest star is the food! The pizza is amazing, the beer is nice and cold, shoot even my sons sliders were a score. The flavor of that patty was so good, I'm definitely trying a burger next time I go. We also got a free appetizer for joint the rewards program, let me tell you, that artichoke dip is a must. We will definitely be back, great spot for all types of families and great place to watch any game on tv or on the rink.

Went there during Hot Rod Days on Water Street. (10/05/24). Sat on the balcony outside, waited 20 minutes and then went inside to order two drinks from the bar. Brought them out to our table and waited another 30 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. They never did. A server helped the table next to us.... Showed up to their table 6 times.... Never even glanced our way.... talk about feeling invisible!!! Was excited to try this place, so disappointed that I will never even taste their food.

MRP in Northern Idaho does rival this Henderson location. Yet, this is quite par for Las Vegas with all trucked in food compared to fresh, locally sourced ingredients in Idaho. However, the opportunity and excitement of the hockey events center has offered better service and menu selections for a sports venue. Enjoy!

I came here for some drinks and had such a great experience! Shannon and Erin were amazing! So attentive and easy to talk to! Will definitely be back again!

MacKenzie River has potential but fell a bit short on my visit. I came in with a group and we ordered a couple of pizzas and some other items. It took a while for the food to come out. In their defense there was a larger party in a side room and so everything was a bit delayed. Despite the delays one of the pizzas came out nearly raw. The cheese was melted but the crust was still doughy underneath. We sent it back. MacKenzie River remade it but it took even longer. For the hassle, management comp'd that pizza. We paid for the rest of the meal. The other pizza we ordered came out a little better. More cooked anyhow. It still could have used a few more minutes in the oven. The pepperoni on it was plentiful and gave the pizza a great flavor. Therein lies the potential. Both pizzas had good flavor. They just lacked in execution. From being under cooked to being too heavily coated in raw flour. I bake and have made pizza before. I know flour is needed to knead and stretch the dough. There is such thing as too much though. It gives the crust a mealy and dry feeling. Less flour and maybe some cornmeal instead would have helped. I've read reviews criticizing the staff and lack of service here. I did not experience bad service here. The lady waiting on us was fairly attentive and accomodating. She apologized for the uncooked pizza. Service was fine on my visit. It was the food that left room for improvement. I chalk it up to the kitchen rushing to keep up with the party room and the res of the customers on what was a busy night.

This was the second time I've been here since the restaurant opened. Both times the food came out of the kitchen SO slow. Both times the wait staff was not attentive to beverage levels on the table. Sadly, the lack of communication with what was going on with our food, made the wait all the more unbearable. It took us 1 hour to get our food from the time we sat down. I had to ask for water refills and ultimately had to pull my waiter aside and explain why I was unhappy. This place has so much potential. When the food comes out, it's pretty good. But twice, I've come here and I've been forced to wait and wait for food and drink. It's too bad I can't recommend this place. I was really hoping the speed of the kitchen and the service improved from my first visit over a year ago. Frankly, if you're wanting to camp at a table and talk and talk and talk with your friends while not being really hungry or thirsty, this might be the place for you.

When walking in the restaurant was mostly empty. Even with so many empty tables, most of them were filthy, with plates all over them and those without plates were still covered in old salt, crumbs, and dried sauces. (This should have been my first warning to get out while I could) my husband and I eventually found the only table that had been freshly wiped down and sat. We waiting about 10 minutes before our server came to get our drink orders, I got a water and a coke. He came back with a paper coke cup for my soda and a little clear disposable plastic cup for my water. My husband and I both ordered a grizzly burger. I asked if they could do medium rare and our server assured me they could. My husband and I proceeded to wait a complete hour for our two burgers. We watched many groups get seated and receive burgers, pastas, and even pizzas during this hour. After we finally got our burgers they were disappointing. The patty seemed completely unspiced and was flavorless and the fries were overspiced with a visibly thick coating of salt. My burger was also well done, definitely not the medium rare our server told me that the kitchen could do for me. These two burgers, that I would describe only as edible, cost $36.20. In my opinion, that's way too much for a flavorless burger and oversalted fries that took an hour to even come out. All in all, I can say with 100% certainty that we will not be returning.

This was my first time here, and I loved the place, the food, the warm, family-like atmosphere. Our server Bobbi Jo, serve us with professionalism and knowledge of the menu. She helped us choose our dishes, and the experience was very pleasant. Everyone is welcome to come :). I love it!!

I've been to the City National location several times and it's a cool place to watch the Knights games but I've never been a huge fan of the food here. I went to the Henderson location for lunch on Tuesday. The service was good, but our server warned us that the food would take a while because there was only one cook working at the time. I ordered the Buffalo wings and was not impressed. The serving came with 8 wings - the cook was alright, but they were a little dry and the sauce was mediocre. I like a little more of a kick in Buffalo sauce and the one they use here was not spicy at all. A few of us shared the cookie skillet for dessert and it was okay but I've had better!
