I had a bit of a wait for food I’d ordered next door so I decided to grab a quick slice before the long drive home. Everyone working there was super nice and attentive. The crust was crisp and light like French pastry, the cheese pull was like you only see on commercials, and the sauce was a nice balance of sweet/savory. The best I’ve tried recently. I’m so glad I was feeling greedy and didn’t want to wait until I got home to eat!

Mack's is the best! Amazing service, went in to grab a couple of slices and I ordered enough to have one less slice than a regular pie, but Mack's was very generous and threw in a extra slice! The pizza was delicious, and I would definitely go back.

Super excellent pizza and done the right way! This is how pizza should be done. They have been around a long time and i can see why. There are booths to sit and eat inside and outside has some tables to eat your food. The owner makes sure you get the pizza the way you like it!

$61 for 2 pizzas...1 plain and 1 sausage?!?! The quality was really off this year. Very disappointing. Never again. Such a shame. This was always the standard by which we compared other pizzas. What in the world changed? Price is ridiculous for the quality.

Great customer service here! They gave my 4 year old a ball of dough to toss around and play with while waiting for their pizza. Thank you so much for helping make his time at your place that much more enjoyable!

Haven't had macks in years as I found them to be a bit too greasy. Never been to this location so decided to see how it compared to my WW memories. Still a little greasy but let it cool for ten minutes and season it real well and it'll be good. The crust had a nice crisp to it. Expensive though, it'll set you back $28 bucks for a plain large.

We have been coming to Mack’s for years! They have the perfect pizza! Crust is extremely thin and has both a nice crunch and satisfying chew. There is a proper ratio of sauce to cheese, and the sauce has a both and savory flavor. Our whole family loves it and it is such a wonderful treat! We had it multiple times this summer and already looking forward to next season😊❤️

Solid experience here. The owner made accomodations for our stroller, and the pizza was pretty good. Good balance of sauce and cheese, along with a thin but not too thin crust/dough. Will definitely come back when in the area!

We thought the pizza was excellent. Everyone has their own opinion of pizza and that is what's great and terrible for reviews. Is it expensive here yes. Are pizzas big yes. Is the price justified maybe. I still think $31 for a pizza is expensive. And $40 for the specialty pies. I think the pizza was excellent. We had plain, pepperoni and the white sand. Crispy crust very thin. The reds had a nice sauce and a good amount of cheese. Just what I think of as shore pizza. The white sand was garlicky and flavorful. Maybe a little too much toppings as the middle tended to be a little soggy. Maybe soggy is not the right word. Heaven is probably a better description

Solid pizza on the island. We ordered plain pizza and Tram Car speciality pizza which was a red pie with meatballs, pepperoni, and sausage. Both were very good, the Tram car being even better. The pizza was ready within 15 minutes too which is great. The only issue I have is spending $28 for a plain pie and $40 for a speciality - it seems outrageous.

The name Mack's goes back decades. The Mackrone family has been busting out pies on the seven mile and they are as good as they were since I could remember. The crust is so light. It's a sauce heavy pie but it's my jam.

7/9/22 Excellent excellent tasty pizza!! I tried The Tram Car that was topped with sausage, meatball, and pepperoni. It was savory and delicious! This is a business that executes well with a simple menu. The girl who took my order was pleasant and the pizza was ready as promised. I also ordered a large cheese pizza and that was mouthwatering my good. Crispy crust. I won't go anywhere else for pizza in Stone Harbor! I found the best and it's an easy walk from my place. Conveniently located across from Bud's Market just in case you want to pick up some chips or dessert.

We were just visiting Stone Harbor for a few days and stumbled on Mack's a half hour before closing. Happy we were able to order a couple of pizzas, we found these were the best pizzas we ever had! Very thin crusts and splendid toppings. The staff were very friendly.

Simple storefront with indoor and outdoor tables that serves pizza and only pizza! $5 slice with topping will satisfy your pizza cravings. Clean ambiance with efficient service. !

We ordered 4 pizzas and when I got there to pick it up, they were all outside on a table getting cold. By the time I drove them home (5 minutes away) every slice was so cold we had to reheat everything. I've seen some stupid things in my time, but this takes the cake. There's nothing better than paying $120 for pizza and they can't even keep it hot for you. The place is right on the bay so I'm sure the bugs got a taste of my dinner as well. They tell you a time to come and pick up and I got there a few minutes early because that's just me. It looked like it was out there for some time. Who knows how long my pizza was sitting outside, getting cold, getting covered by bugs, and the meats getting rotten. I will never go back to this place even if they were giving away for free. It's really not even that good to begin with. It has been our family's tradition for many years and now we need to find a new place. R. I. P. Mack's pizza.

Mack and Manco were The Beatles of pizza. The best of the best and really were a household name during the time. But just like the Fab Four, Mack and Manco split to leave behind what is now "Manco and Manco". Years later Mack would decide to release a solo album which is "Mack's pizza of stone harbor" and well...it's not exactly Imagine or Ram it's more like Ringos solo debut album. He left his teammate to compete against him and it's really not that great. The ambiance of the restaurant is good but the pizza has 0 to no cheese and the sauce just isn't sweet enough. The Beatles are no more, Mack and Manco is no more so stop trying to live in the past. If you want pizza in the area just go to Nemo's you can thank me later.

I love Macks! I'm going to to keep this review short and sweet. AMAZING PIZZA, JUST INSANE PRICES!!!!!! I won't stop coming here, but it just won't be as often! That's the shore for you! Love the staff!

Long before Manco & Manco there was Mack's, the first destination for lunch after the 1.5 hour drive from home to the shore. In my memory their pizza hasn't changed and is still one of the best pizzas anywhere ! My favorite is still the good old plain one. Thin crust, great sauce and there's something special about the cheese. At this location you can call ahead and they bring the pizza out to you. If you haven't tried their pizza you are definitely missing something.

Great pizza, have been eating it since i was a child. HOWEVER, the increase this year will probably put a halt on how many times we order. Gees! Way too high now! Are you trying to limit your customers?

This pizza is incomparable! The sauce cheese crust ratio is spot on. You're not full after eating it and always want more which is dangerous.

Just got dragged over the coals, and must have sucker drawn across my far head. I ordered two pizza's and was charged $61 for complete garbage. I guess it's good work if you can get it.

Thank you so much for being open and our curbside service. Taking a drive for Mother's Day and we had the good fortune to stop here. When the pizza was delivered to the car... our car smelled just like a pizza place on the Ocean City Boardwalk. What a happy smell. The pizza was perfect. It had a delicious thin crust with fantastic vegetables and a perfectly cooked flavor. Yummy' Thanks for being open and making our Mother's Day lunch perfect!

Not only the best pizza on the island, it's some of the best pizza I have had in the south Jersey shore and beyond. We always enjoy this pizza during our vacation and it's a really great. Great crust, tangy sauce with great flavor, and a real quality cheese blend. The toppings are always heavily and evenly distributed. My favorite pies are the Boardwalk and the White Sand. This morning we had the breakfast pizza and the cinnamon twists... Aces! The best pizza around and one of my all time favorites.

Came here for dinner tonight. I'm gluten free and we hadn't asked if they had it. When we asked, however, we found out that tonight was the first night in their 37 years that they had gluten free pizza. The service was good overall, but we were afraid that our server might have been sick. Pizza came out quick and was delicious. Best pizza in Avalon/Stone Harbor by far. Another thing that was really cool and unique was instead of crayons, they give kids dough to play with. We will be back in the future. Come here if you want a really good casual dinner.

Mack's pizza is a reminder of my growing up in North Wildwood. Still as good and I have yet to find a pizzeria that has the distinct flavor of a Mack's!!!!

To me there is nothing better than a slice at the shore. We've been staying in Stone Harbor for years! We always drive by Mack's. We always go Mack's or Sam's in Wildwood. It's more nostalgic as it brings us back to our childhood. We've heard good things about Mack's in SH so we gave it a shot. First, the parking just like anywhere else at the beach stinks! They do offer a small parking lot but it's literally 4 spaces. Upon arrival the waitress sat us at a booth. Nothing is fancy, paper plates and cups are a standard. You can help yourself to drinks and it's cash only. Now for the pizza. It was good, not great for us. The sauce to cheese ratio was good. The cheese was a bit greasy. They are somewhat skimpy on toppings. Only 3 slices had toppings, we had maybe 1 mushroom on the 4th slice. The crisp was nice and I enjoyed the crust. The sauce for me was average, sweet with some tang. Overall it was a good pizza. I'm not sure I would go out of my way for it. I would be willing to give it another shot. Maybe when it's not so busy. There was also only one waitress, she was also working the counter. To say she was overwhelmed would be an understatement. 3 stars

How convenient it is to get the classic boardwalk style pizza while not having to go to the boardwalk. This is a simple review for a simple and delicious pie that is simply hard to get anywhere but the shore. Ten out ten recommend!

This pizza is sooo yummy!! We had a pizza with sausage, pepperoni & meatballs and a white pizza with mushrooms, sausage & garlic. Every component was in perfect harmony. Seriously. This is a pizza connoisseur's place to go! Bravo Mack's, Bravo!!

If this business was located at home they would put all the other pizza businesses to shame. I'd probably ask yelp for a 6th star based on taste alone. Besides being a bit pricey, there is the other issue of the stakes being higher when I am in Jersey. I am still on the Preps pizza train, but this is a delicious second place.

The pizza itself was actually pretty good. I would give it maybe a 7.6 score in the "One Bite" app. However, we ordered a half cheese and half "rio grande" but this is what we received. The "rio grande" (everything) half was my side. It was good. The "cheese" (obviously not cheese) side was for my wife who, like a small child, doesn't like toppings (hence her side plate full of the misc. toppings in the pic). I tried that veggie concoction and I it wasn't bad but my wife was less thrilled. The reason for the low score isn't just the half "cheese" mistake, it's that this foliage covered pizza cost $31... a lot for half correct and half not correct (to say the least). Mistakes happen, I get that. But $31 is a lot to pay for a mistake (I mean, my parents paid a lot more to raise me but they have no one else to blame but themselves). Final thoughts: good pizza but steep price.

The service was great the wait tim was minimum and the food was great! This place is a well oiled machine pumping out great products!

Ordered the Wildwood pie I don't want to waste words as I did time and money on this pizza. Sauce is bitter, dough is chalky, little cheese and something is very salty will wake swollen and parched. Even my dog turned it down

Fantastic pizza! Crust, sauce, and toppings (Tram Car) were perfect. I loved the exact ordering process; we ordered at 7:04, 15 minutes later, we were order 721, and it came out hot. Impressive. Only reason to give less than 5 stars is because I ate too much, but I can't hold it against Mack's. Great job!

I've been to Mack's a couple of times this summer and have been highly satisfied each time. We got take out both times and tried a variety of pizzas. I've tried 3 different pizzas here: 1. Pepperoni, sausage and onions 2. Plain cheese pizza 3. Meatball and red roasted pepper and onion I seriously can't stop eating this pizza. Now I need to find a good exercise program to help this delicious pizza get off my waist line! haha. Quick Notes: The service is very fast. Our order for 3 pizzas took about 14 mins total...and don't forget to bring money since it's a Cash Only establishment.

Pleasantly surprised by how good the plain pizza tasted. Loved the sauce, thin NY-style crust, and cheese. We recently ate at Lombardi's in NYC, and I found Mack's pizza to be much more flavorful. Id only eaten 2 pieces, but could have easily had 4. I will definitely eat here again while visiting family at the Jersey shore!

Hands down the best pizza restaurant in Stone Harbor and 7 mile island! The only downside is there menu is restricted to only pizza and there isn't a lot of other options. But if your looking for the best pizza this is the place!

Mack's is a must any time I'm in Stone Harbor! As a family owned business with a rich local history, you can practically taste the nostalgia in each slice. The pizza is quality and the take out/ service is always speedy. I was excited to learn about their latest addition of a Caesar salad and did I mention you can now pay with credit card?!

Great pizza and had outdoor seating so my fur baby could come out with us. Pizza is great try the "Wildwood" pizza with sausage peppers and onions. Very good.

We got pizza here while driving through shore towns. Picked curbside delivery. Ordering was smooth and easy and could pay over the phone. We got "the Wildwood" pizza. It was delicious and that's an understatement! The crust was perfect thickness. The ratio of toppings, to sauce to cheese and crust was just perfect. The sausage was perfectly cooked! Will definitely order from Mack's again tomorrow HeB we are at the Shore!

When staying in Stone Harbor for the summer, we order Mack's Pizza, the same franchise as that on the Boardwalk in Wildwood. The pizza is wonderful. The kids love it and so do I. I do prefer the boardwalk with all the memories and tradition, but the Stone Harbor location is just a convent. Thanks Mack's we are a Fan!

Can someone please come over to this shop from the wildwood shops and teach those in this shop how to make Macks pizza cause this isn't it....i could tell the moment i looked at it that it wasn't the same Thanks long time Mack's customer

Ordered the Wildwood. Well done pizza, nice size, solid toppings. Sauce and crust were a little bland. Crust also a bit dry and salty, Dad and Hubby said it reminded them a bit of a saltine cracker, but not bad. Needed flavor in it like more garlic or something. Hubs wished it was a thicker pizza too, saying a pizza should be thick enough to not flop when you pick it up, haha. Said it was good, but nothing special about it. Staff was super friendly, place was clean and everything was very quick. Cash only!

Best pizza on 7 mile island. Sauce is perfectly sweet and tomatoey and the pie is cooked right, not soggy. Parking is tight and with only take out its tricky since using the spots in front for picking up food. Our go to pies are always plain with extra sauce and mushroom/pepperoni extra sauce. Sometimes places put waaaay to much extra sauce on their pies and they make the pie "wet" but they did it perfectly here. They know how to make a great pizza.

This place rules. Best pizza on the island by a mile as far as I can tell. Highly recommend

Mistake or not? Has this happened to you? We ordered a pizza from Mack Pizza of Stone Harbor - and when we got home we noticed an extra charge on our receipt for $3 When we called Mack's to ask what the extra charge was for, the answer was pretty quick - oh sometimes people forget to zero out the register and whatever charge was there before gets added to the next bill - we were told if we drive back there , they would credit us. About 3 minutes after we hung up the phone, we received a call from Mack's telling us no need to drive back- they would credit our card right away. Not sure how to feel about this. There were no questions about what we were talking about - they seemed to know. Was it an honest mistake? I truly hope this was an honest mistake - but if the owner reads this, you may want to check this out. Our family has a family business too - I would want to know if this happened in my store. I don't think we will go back there. We've lived here for 7 years and I've never had this happen - here or anywhere. Ask for and check your receipts - always a good practice. . 2hrs later update - well, guess what? Mack's not only refunded the erroneous $3, they refunded the cost of the pizza - wow , that was a surprise. Will have to give them another chance - Thank you Mack's, not expected, but very much appreciated.

LOVE this pizza place in Stone Harbor! One of the best cheese pizzas I have ever had! I love just getting the plain but they have so many other types to choose from. Service is also really good!

Four years ago I wrote a review for Mack's, giving them only 3 stars. After the pizza I had last week, I really do need to update my review and give them 5 stars. Maybe they had a down season or two, but this summer they are definitely making some delicious pizza. I had another pie last night and again it was awesome. I went with a pepperoni, sausage, and onion. It's a lot and I wouldn't do it every time, but damn it was delicious and I had to stop myself from eating all of it. Good job Bob! UPDATE (ONE MONTH LATER): Still 5 stars after returning four times since I wrote the review again. Definitely the best pizza place at the Jersey Shore and maybe the best in the state!
