I have been here a couple of times and I like this place. I liked their blueberry scope and the croissants and recommend them. We also tried the bagel with creme cheese and salmon which was good as well. My wife tried the sausage and kale strata which was nice as well. I liked the bagel and salmon better.

Google
Best avocado toast I've had in my life! I've been dozens of times to their several locations, and the pastries and food are always top notch. But today they outdid themselves. The avocado was creamy and unadulterated, the bread was the perfect crunchy grainy texture, and the lemon vinaigrette was the perfect zesty counterpoint to all the other flavors. Service was great as usual. And it's always a pleasant place to sit, at every location, flooded with light.

Google
As advertised, the cherry scones are delicious. I bought 2 along with 2 of their version of chocolate croissant for friends. I also picked up a loaf of the olive bread (which I heard was bomb) and the sourdough round, which was everything you would expect, and excellent with a generous amount of butter.ibwill be back to try more if their offerings (to go) and maybe stay for lunch.

Google
Delicious baked goods, decent coffee, uneven/confusing service. I ordered a pastry and latte, paid, and was given a number to take to my table. Heated pastry was delivered table side promptly. After 5-ish minutes, I went looking for my latte. It was sitting on the counter. At no point was it made clear I'd have to retrieve the latte. Why take only part of the order to the table? Underwhelming and unnecessarily confusing for a first timer.

Google
Had a wonderful experience here. A very charming bakery and top notch service. Lattes were delish and I really enjoyed the peach hand pie, which was not too sweet. Also tried the peanut butter cookie. That one had great texture but left me craving more pronounced peanut flavor. The banana nut bread had wonderful spice to it, but again I would prefer stronger banana presence. Overall, great little stop and a lot of treats to try out.

Google
Wonderful display, good selection, both savory and sweet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, even with a large selection of items to try, everything was very bland and disappointing. My expectations were high, and I wanted to love it, but there was literally no flavor.

Moises Schini

Google
Amazing place for a quick coffee, big breakfast, brunch and maybe a lunch as well. Everything is delicious! Very pleasant vibe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service could be a little more organized on the gap between the order and the cashier but it’s not a big deal.

Google
Great well known bakery and cafe located in the residential Queen Anne neighborhood. There is plenty of brunch items and baked goods to choose from. It was particularly busy when we went, and the staff at the cashier seemed flustered with a tad bit of a attitude. Seating is also limited so definitely plan to come early or later in the day if you are planning to enjoy a meal at the table.

Hope S.

Yelp
Cute bakery in the Queen Anne area. Variety of pastries and sandwiches. We went for breakfast. Lots of choices and staff friendly and helpful! Italiano sandwich: porchetta, egg, and pesto. Soft, fresh bun wirh the pesto and fillings complementing each other. Just wish cheese was in the sandwich as well. Praline sticky bun: large portion, sweet but not overly sweet pecan topping. Worked perfectly with a drip plain coffee. Seating inside and out. Very busy but must try!

Yelp
Macrina has few whole wheat or multi-grain breads, especially those in smaller sizes. What they do have often is sold out by mid- or late-afternoon. So lately I've called in the morning to have them set aside a loaf. Imagine my surprise when I got home late today to discover that the loaf they had set aside and I'd paid for had the end cut off (maybe about 3 inches!). Also, it was filled with bits of olive not apricot! In fact, it had someone else's name on the bag. (It's hard to see how breads partially cut off this way can conserve their freshness). Now I have to explain and bring it back--not something I relish having to do. Or settle for what only part of the loaf I bought. Being diabetic, I can't eat pastries, so the apricot-nut was a little sweet and tart, perfect for breakfast, too. (I should have known better after I called: they told me they had still two loaves of the apricot nut. When I arrived at the bakery-cafe to pick the loaf up, there were still two loaves of the apricot nut on the shelf just in back of the pastry counter.

Yelp
I'm so glad my friends and I stopped in here! The breakfast sausage biscuit was filled with flavor. The cookies fell apart in our mouths. The entire cafe is nicely decorated. Emely helped us with our order and made the entire process smooth. Don't miss this place on your morning commute!

Deborah S.

Yelp
We really enjoyed all the pastries we tried there. The quality was amazing and fresh. The jam used was delicious. We enjoyed the visit, scone, rolly poly, blueberry scone and brought home bread. The fresh juice was delicious as well. The person assisting us was very helpful and the location was cozy.

Yelp
This used to be a favorite, but lately it has been just so-so. It's expensive and the flavors of the pastries yesterday were almost bland and the almond pinwheel and cinnamon roll were stale. The guy who put them in bags and handed them to me didn't say hello or thank you.

Dan H.

Yelp
Great pastries. Solid bakery. I come here in the morning to pick up a box of pastries of bagels for my team at work. The bagels are excellent and they'll slice them for you. Pastries are solid as well. Love the morning bun and cinnamon roll, but honestly so many good choices. Can get busy on the weekends but if you come right at opening there's no line.

Steve V.

Yelp
This place is near my in-laws' house and we try to come everytime we visit. The location is in a neighborhood so it is street parking, but that is easy to find. The interior is small and there are no seats, but have no fear as there are a few outside on the sidewalk. Most people get their orders to go and enjoy elsewhere. The menu has all sorts of pastries, bread, and baked goods. They also have brunch on the weekends and a regular breakfast and lunch menus on other days. We have gotten the sourdough here and it is top notch. So good and a decent value as well. The cookies are amazing and I can't wait to be back and try something new!

Anna M.

Yelp
Kind, knowledgable service and decent prices. Cozy interior. I'm GF so I hesitantly asked if they happened to have any pastries without gluten, and they did!! I got a marionberry biscuit to share with my dude and it was so freakin' good. Note that they do not have a separate kitchen for these, so you might want to avoid the gf pastries if you're celiac, but I'm super sensitive to cross-contamination and haven't gotten sick :o) Literally risked it for the biscuit, haha. We also got hot chocolate and a chai latte with dairy free milk, and both tasted perfect. I really liked how much spice was in my latte. Definitely want to come back!

Brett B.

Yelp
We had multiple great trips to Macrina because it was walkable from our Airbnb in Queen Ann. Their staff was incredibly helpful, and patient as we continued to add to our orders. We got almost everything on the menu. The standouts were: mini passion fruit pies (creamy texture, delicious tart flavor, and great crust), mini carrot cups (moist, and great cream cheese icing), morning glory muffin (think carrot cake without icing so it's totally healthy), and the almond pinwheels (like a glazed almond covered cinnamon roll). We got lots of other things in addition, and they were all good. My only complaint is they don't slice their olive loaf, so I had to do it myself on vacation (serious first world problems). If we go back to Seattle we have our bakery.

Meridena K.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and pastries. Wow what a selection. The dill scone was incredible, just get it toasted plain. The ham and cheese brioche was also excellent, they will toast it so the bread is a little crispy and the cheese is melty. It's a small cafe so seating is limited, but they have outlets to charge devices, and clean bathrooms. Lovely place for a break. Get something for there and to go...

Mark T.

Yelp
I recently re-visited Macrina Bakery and overall, I was quite impressed with the quality of their food and drinks. The savory focaccia was delicious, but the real standout for me was the ham and cheese bun - it was excellent! The cortado coffee beverage was also very good. One small issue was the noise level inside the bakery, which can get a little loud. However, the workers were all very friendly and made the visit enjoyable. I would sum up as a limerick thus: There once was a bakery named Macrina Whose focaccia was oh so fina The ham and cheese bun Was a tasty, savory one But the noise level could be a bit finer

Lee H.

Yelp
One of the best pastry shops around! I went to get pastry but ended up having a Beechers grilled cheese sandwich it was amazing! I don't know what all they put on it but absolutely delicious. Went back for pastries and a fig hand pie, and it was super delicious! I still have a raspberry croissant for later, highly recommend this place! The people are very nice too and it's very cozy place to hide away and have a pastry and some hot cocoa

Nicole Y.

Yelp
I really like this particular macrina location. The staff is very friendly and it gives small town vibes in the best way. I've tried many of the soups including the curry butternut squash that I had today and all of them are delicious. I've also tried the grilled cheese, and the breakfast Blt at this location and both were phenomenal. It really makes a huge difference having a homemade sandwich with fresh baked bread. The coffee is also amazing. It is strong and the vanilla sugar/syrup that they make is pretty much why I drink vanilla lattes every time I come here. I highly recommend checking them out.

LeBron J.

Yelp
Alarmingly bad avocado toast. There was so much lemon juice on it, it was wild. Sour as hell. Bread was soft and thin. Also, menu says there were micro greens on top and there wasn't any. We saw a girl from love is blind there and that didn't even make it worth the trip Pastries are pretty good

Joanna M.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with Macrina Bakery. Popped in here three days in a row when staying in Queen Anne, and never tired of the place. Their cappuccino was great, but their selection of perfectly flaked and crumbled pastries were all so delicious. Every time we ate here our table was covered in croissant crumbs by the time we were done. If you come a bit after the morning rush there seems to be enough seating, and the window is great for people watching. Sparking water on tap was a lovely touch I don't see often. We're pretty discerning bakery connoisseurs (especially my four year old) and we were all very pleased with this Macrina location.

Christine S.

Yelp
Don't bother coming here if you have celiac or a real wheat allergy. We came and the few GF pastries were right in the middle of the case touching all the other regular pastries.

Yelp
This is a very long overdue review collectively for numerous visits to the original Belltown site, this Queen Anne location (3/26/21), SoDo, and Capitol Hill locations. I haven't checked out the Kent location yet. Fun facts: way back when the Macrina QA location was the second iteration of Standard Bakery. Original Standard Bakery was at QA Ave N and Boston before moving to W McGraw. I also lived across the street in a basement apartment, now had become various business iterations over the years. Would have been a match made in baking heaven if the timelines were better aligned. Sigh. I was a Seattle resident since 1983 and now Shoreline since 2002, yeah a total dinosaur by Yelp metrics. Trust me all tasty baked items especially in the classic French style viennoiserie, patisserie, and boulangerie were barely in existence. For example, croissants in the early to mid 1980s were literal dry shards at first bite. The late 1980s to early 1990s was the surge of artisan baking in Seattle. Leslie Mackie of the Macrina empire was a trail blazing master baker and business owner opening Macrina in Belltown back in August 1993. She is an esteemed member of both Bread Bakers Guild of America and Les Dames des Escoffier. I remember tasting the potato bread and assorted pastries back then, mind blown. It reminded me of Paris in 1990. Her success and legions of talented and inspired bakers for nearly three decades speaks volumes with five cafe locations mentioned above, established retail, cafe, and wholesale accounts, and published cookbooks. Macrina was established well before the original Cafe Besalu, Bakery Nouveau, Fresh Flours, Fuji Bakery, Despi Delite, Coyle's Bakeshop, Preserve and Gather, Sea Wolf Bakers, Celine Patisserie, the list goes on, ad naseum. The only bakeshop that predates Macrina was Grand Central in 1972 in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood. Seattle neighborhoods, the north end, the Eastside, and areas close to the Canadian border...I'm in carb heaven. This region blessed with talented bakers and pastry chefs, both in European and Asian techniques. Disclaimer: I completed pastry and baking training in Seattle and France and worked in the restaurant/catering industry, albeit it a lifetime ago. Macrina located along W. McGraw is a perfectly situated neighborhood spot. PreCovid it was great to stop in, stay awhile to dine and visit onsite or outdoor sidewalk seating. Now it's the mask up, socially distanced, and takeout pandemic routine. But the welcoming staff presides over well stocked display shelves and that lovely pastry case with its vast assortment of items to select from. They also craft pretty decent mochas, imho. Consistent and high quality. Don't forget to start your bread and coffee stamp/punch cards! Visited the Belltown location from the get go in 1993 and often through the years I worked in the vicinity. Visited the Capitol Hill location (used to be Tully's and before that the Surrogate Hostess) and the SoDo locations periodically. The Queen Anne location just has a bit more nostalgia for me personally. All Seattle sites have either street parking or its own private lot (Capitol Hill and SoDo). Just check their websites or call ahead to verify their retail business hours which have been truncated or amended during the pandemic at some Seattle sites. Well established and recommended!

Sydney B.

Yelp
I Love the pastries at Macrina, but I don't think this is the best place to hangout as a cafe... service is good but the ambience is not cozy to me. I'm picky so take my opinion with a grain of

Tim H.

Yelp
Stopped in here, as I snagged a rare parking place right across the street. Went in and looked around at the bread counter for what I wanted. There was no one at the cash register, just a person there who was occupied with folding boxes, who didn't acknowledge me at all. Feeling ignored a bit, and noticing that someone had arrived at the cash register, I walked over to her, said hi, and told her what I wanted. With a frown, she pointed to the person at the bread counter who was folding boxes and said to ask her. So I walked back to the bread counter and told her what I wanted. She bagged my bread and muffins, and set them on the counter without a smile or a word, and went on with her box folding. I picked the items up and took them back to the cash register, where again the unfriendly vibes were strong. Clearly, something was going on there that I didn't understand, but that kind of surly service is unpleasant and I won't be back there. Two stars for the muffins, which were good, and one star for the baguette (which are better at Tall Grass). No stars, and no tip, for the service.

Hanna S.

Yelp
Love the neighborhood feel of this location. Sometimes it can have quite a line but it usually moves quickly. Staff is happy and it's always pleasant to come here. The baristas aim to please. I really wish they would have more savory/protein options for vegan. They have some wonderful sweet options. There are a number of seasonal treats but if few are vegan My non-vegan family loves the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies that are available right now. Just note sometimes if you're coming out a little bit dark but there still yummy

Raychelle S.

Yelp
5 stars all round! This bakery is so good and worth many many trips! The place is small and I wouldn't recommend coming here if you had a big group and wanted to eat inside. There aren't many seats inside so it's better to grab and go or quickly eat and drink. I visited here with my friends (who have been here more than I have ) and they mentioned that all the breaky sandwiches were great plus any of the pastries. I got the sausage and egg biscuit and it was FABULOUS!! The biscuit was fresh, flaky, warm. Omg. It was heaven. I recommend visiting!!

Claire N.

Yelp
Stopped by for some pastries after a hike. This place was really cute and clearly a regular study spot in the neighborhood. My chocolate croissant was great and I was shocked at how tasty the vegan muffin was!

Sukhbir A.

Yelp
Coffee good but over priced. Same with other items. Service too was not with a smile. Sometimes I wonder why do we pay hefty tips for no service to your table and no smiles either.

Iris Z.

Yelp
Just here to happily add another 5 star review among the many others. We had their pumpkin muffin which was perfectly moist and not too sweet. We also enjoyed their dill scone. Ask them to heat up the items to enjoy them even more. Having the pumpkin muffin heated up made the pumpkin seeds on top slightly crunch which went so well with the rest of the warm, soft muffin.

Eun C.

Yelp
They're always nice. I had blueberry scone in addition to the picture I have. Red velvet and drip coffee. Of course, The scone was gone before I took pictures. Make sure to do your homework before you walk in first, too many to choose from and second, customers are keep rolling in behind you. I highly recommend blueberry scone, their promotional cakes and drip coffee!

Sherrie B.

Yelp
Great little shop...we enjoy walking there on weekends for coffee and a pastry occasionally...it's pretty pricey so not often. Selection is not always consistent, but that's part of the adventure of trying something new. Today I got the orange hazelnut pinwheel and it was fabulous. Usually get an americano, but today wanted a cappuccino. It was pretty much a latte, NOT a cappuccino. Full of hot milk and very little foam. I was pretty disappointed, but didn't want to ask for a remake because the line was so long, it was extremely busy and we even had to share a table with a kind gentleman. I ended up throwing the drink away because I had had enough milk.

Julie E.

Yelp
Friendly ,quiet, really good coffee and pastry . Love to meet up with my friends there.

Naina G.

Yelp
Try this place and you'll thank me later :) No one can eat just one! You have to make some real hard choices here! From their sweet offerings to savoury, everything is mind and tastebuds blowing! Even the chive cream cheese (paired with everything bagel - YUMM) on the side deserves some dedicated praises, it was so tasteful and amazing. I tried their morning glory bun, verdure sandwich and cheese & bagel! All 10 on 5! Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff is sweet and follow strict protocols around social distancing resulting in queues which can take anywhere between 15-30 minutes. But the place is worth the wait!

Justine D.

Yelp
Four stars for the baked goods and three stars for the coffee. I don't go here much because it is super expensive. Every pastry that I've gotten has been super tasty... particularly the ham and cheese croissant. The flavors are delightful and the service is impeccable. Before covid, it was a nice spot to get some studying done. This place does sell out by midday of a lot of their popular items, so don't go too late. I must say that I really don't like their coffee, but others do. I think I'm just one of those people that doesn't like super bitter coffee that sours my stomach. The last one I got, I ended up just throwing it away. I'm not going to dock a star since I know some of my friends love their coffee, so it's probably a me thing. Personally, I think their prices are a little out there, but it is Queen Anne.

s r.

Yelp
Baked goods were great. Esp liked the savory croissant!! Got this one twice. The breakfast sandwiches are pre made but still were tasty.

Patricia E.

Yelp
Great bakery. Prices high but quality excellent parking a problem. But can't beat the pastries

JK M.

Yelp
Leslie Mackie should rethink her business model and also what it means to be a part of a neighborhood and community. The prices here have become ridiculous. We all know what the ingredients of a croissant are and while prices of "some" ingredients may be slightly higher (remember we're all buying groceries and astutely aware of prices, especially now) they simply aren't $5 a croissant higher. Add Leslie and Macrina to the list of businesses that are taking advantage of consumer sentiment and too much news about inflation and exploiting long standing patrons. I'll shop the locals that are actually interested in feeding their community and focused on value in all forms, and not those that are just maximizing "their" own bottom line.

Susie C.

Yelp
If I were to rate Macrina just for it's bread, I would give it 20 stars! I love Macrina's bread, and it is what it is famous for. They have such a great variety of offerings, so you're bound to find the perfect bread for what you are making. The staff is also super helpful and can give you a good recommendation based on that as well. They can also slice your bread for you, although they do it by hand, so at times, I do wonder if I should have just done it myself. :P You can tell how well respected Macrina Bread is since it's used by so many local restaurants and carried by so many local coffee shops. It's also carried in most grocery stores (Whole Foods, PCC and Met Market to name a few). So if you want a loaf/ other standard baked goods but missed the store hours, stop by one of the grocery stores. The reason I give Macrina as a whole 4-stars is that I find the rest of their baked goods to be just okay. All of their baked goods are high quality and made with great ingredients, but I don't find any of the other pastries to be particularly tasty or noteworthy. I mainly keep returning for the bread, but it is nice to have the option to pick up a pastry if I'm really craving it though.

Lauren L.

Yelp
Not disability friendly. Walked there with my service dog to pick up some breakfast and was confronted by multiple staff members. There is a great sign out front saying no ESA dogs, which I read. I told them he is not an ESA and they yelled across all the customers to ask my disability. The tone was blatant disbelief. It was beyond embarrassing. They did not apologize or express any regret for how they treated me. After I explained to three of them that my dog was, in fact, a service animal. I understand that other people attempt to bring their non-service dogs in, but no need to be rude and make people who actually have a disability feel horrible. I just about cried. Better pastries elsewhere, not worth the negative interaction.

Connie L.

Yelp
I was staying with a friend who lived in Queen Anne, within a 5- to 10-minute walk of this bakery. I stopped by twice during my stay, the 1st time on a Friday around noon, and the 2nd time on a Saturday morning. The bakery is really cute, and it looked like you could have your food to stay, although I only got pastries/bread to-go both times I stopped by. On Friday at noon the place was really busy. It was less so on Saturday morning, but I'm sure it would've filled up as the breakfast/brunch rush hour progressed. My first visit, I got the ham and cheese brioche and a demi-baguette. The brioche was about $5 and the demi-baguette was about $3 (before tax). The brioche was quite large and filling; I think it could be a small meal on its own, and it was very tasty. I probably wouldn't get the demi-baguette again, as it didn't have quite the texture I like in a baguette, and was a bit expensive in any case. There was a mushroom and cheese brioche that looked really good too, but when I returned on Saturday, they didn't appear to have it in stock. Instead, I got a fruit braid, which I think was $5.50 before tax. Like the savory brioche, this was also pretty huge; I could barely finish it in the end. The fruit braid was well made, but I think I'd probably go for another savory pastry if I'm ever back in town, since they're so big and I sometimes have trouble finishing huge sweet things. The staff I interacted with were friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in Queen Anne again!

Trisha J.

Yelp
Ordered a Red Velvet cake for a birthday. It was one of the best cakes that I have seen or tasted. The staff was so pleasant and helpful as well!

Hillary P.

Yelp
This bakery is one of the best I've ever been to, in Seattle or otherwise. Their carne quiche was unbelievably delicious. The pastries are exactly what I'd been looking for - traditional French and executed flawlessly. The staff is friendly and helpful.

L W.

Yelp
We came in for a loaf of sliced bread. Used their tap machine to pay for the bread + 15% tip. The cashier claims the charge never went thru even though it showed up as "Approved" on their point of sale device and on my bank charges. She insisted having me pay for the bread again even though I had already paid for it. I asked why I have to pay for it twice to which she replied she wasn't sure if the charge went thru (despite her point of sale device and my bank app showing the transaction). After some back and forth with her, I ended up leaving the bakery without taking the bread out of the store -- out of frustration. So now I have a bank charge for an item I never took out of the store. This outcome though is better than have 2 charges for 1 item and then being upset about the store asking us to pay twice for the item. We were treated differently from other paying customers at this store -- not sure why. Maybe it is because we are Asian and do not speak English as well as we should. How much clearer do we have to be to tell the store we already paid when the point of sale system says "Approved" and we have a bank charge on our statement? Won't be back and wish we never walked in. We're better off buying their products at Ballard market where we are treated like other paying customers.

Chris J.

Yelp
I ordered a gluten free biscuit here and a coffee. I usually purchase this biscuit at various coffee shops around the area also PCC Natural Markets. It's one of my favorite, but have to comment how much more delicious it is in the store. Much more fresh tasting with a flakier, true biscuit texture!! I don't think I'll be able to enjoy the packaged, delivered one the same way.

Tom E.

Yelp
Orange hazelnut pinwheel, you are my hero! Sooo good, so perfect. Melt in your mouth goodness. The ambience, the service, the decor, always impeccable. When I knew I was moving back to Seattle, this bakery was all I could think of. "I can go to Macrina bakery in Queen Anne whenever I want!"

Billie L.

Yelp
I freaking love this place. Every single pastry is delicious and also giant. The staff is always so lovely! Also, the cinnamon rolls are amazing. My boyfriend, who doesn't eat very many sweets, literally devours those cinnamon rolls and I was left so surprised. We love the food so much!

Olystacy B.

Yelp
This bakery was top notch. What a cool little place to grab a bite, and a cup of coffee. They had delicious artisan sandwiches and breakfast foods and a ton of baked items to choose from. We had a breakfast sandwich, which was AMAZING. Coffee was delicious too. Prices on the high end, as to be expected in Seattle. You have to pay to park on the street. Clean and hip ambiance.

Julie K.

Yelp
What a cute cafe! Great light roast and the morning roll and the everything bagel with cream cheese was awesome! The service was amazing super friendly and just good people!

Yikhwan D.

Yelp
I have been coming to Macrina for years. I love everything they have here, but Ham and Cheese Brioche and Morning Rolls are probably my favorites. I also think their selection of treats are perfect. Some bakeries have 459 options and it's overwhelming, but Macrina has just enough things and everything they have is good. As for the coffee, I don't know that i have ever thought their coffee was out of this world, but their coffee is perfect with the sweets you get. The place can pack out really fast pretty much any day of the week, but I think it's worth the wait.

Laurie L.

Yelp
We're in town visiting. Had family over to thank them for supporting our son who just graduated. I knew I wanted to have dessert but there was no way I can cook food and bake in not-my-house. So we ordered cakes and cookies from Macrina and it was a terrific idea! The lemon curd in the Whisper cake was yummy. Yule log Fun shape. The chocolate gateau was perfect for people like me who need to have tea to cut down on sweet stuff. Only needed a sliver to be satisfied. The cookies were gone quickly and there was a great variety. We also I ordered the carne salad and I really enjoyed that! Whether it's for a special occasion or you just want something special I really recommend Macrina!

Lauren D.

Yelp
The bakery side of this operation is wonderful, offering a fabulous selection of delicious breads and pastries of very consistent quality. The cafe side of things could use some help. The Wi-Fi is great, but tables are scarcely cleaned, and spills are sometimes left to pool on the floor for hours. Only to-go dishes, cups and utensils are offered for for-here orders, which both makes for a shabby experience and is incredibly wasteful (and yes, compostable containers still have a negative environmental impact).

Bahareh M.

Yelp
Love their unique pastries and use to love the seating area for studying. Quality is amazing!

Ilana S.

Yelp
I love Macrina. The atmosphere at this location is perfection. Relaxing and jovial. It's not super obvious that when you walk in you order everything (including coffees) at the baked goods counter, so wait in line there. Their chocolate cornettos are phenomenal, and if ever you see they have the chocolate cream pie- GET IT! Our first time here, they were serving it by the slice and it rocked our world. The next time they had it, but said they only sell it by the pie. We should have bought multiple because we haven't seen it since! Macrina, if you're reading this, please make the chocolate cream pie (more like mousse pie) a staple!!! All of the other food items are delicious. We love their sandwiches (portion size is small, which I prefer) and their soups. I have never regretted an order. This morning we had brunch here. I got the classic and it was the perfect proportion. Sorry about the photo... I had already eaten half.

Yelp
I was in the area and stopped in to grab coffee & a treat. There's easy street parking and you are greeted by someone as soon as you walk in and someone will walk you through bakery items or options. It was my first time in & the display made me want one of everything. I decided on the cinnamon apple pull apart & a chai latte with skim. I dined in and found a table quickly. My order was brought to my table and the pull apart was good, not anything to rave about and was cold in the middle. I moved on to the chai & it was unusually spicy. I opted to go at that point. I waited in line to ask for my item to go & grabbed a lid on the way out.
