The tall lady is ignorant and acts like a snob. The long John's had no filling in them(photo below) Very surprised considering the reviews I saw before trying this place out. I won't be back due to the snobby attitude of the tall older woman. Your no different than everyone else. I would recommend not wasting your money here and getting treated like a peasant.

A true mom & pop donut shop. We recently moved to the area and checked this place out. The staff is welcoming and attentive and there has been a huge variety each time we go in. We have tried several varieties and they were all great! Quite a treat for my kids - I think this will end up being a staple in our household 😊

By far the worst donut shop experience I have ever witnessed. I ordered two dozen donuts for our "Donuts with Santa" charity event receiving very poor customer service from needing to repeat my order phone number "5 separate times" along with picking up the Donuts with a "what do you want" type of negative attitude. No good morning. No Thank you for business. Just 24 donuts handed to me without a smile or any gratitude of doing business. The quality of the Donuts were good overall. The customer experience I received was one of the worst I have ever received anywhere. I only hope this message is read under a professional undertone via Mac Donuts.

This is a very cute little donut shop. The donuts are second only to Oram's in my opinion. Certainly beats Dunkin Donuts 8 days a week and 25 hours a day. Prices are reasonable and the staff are pleasant!

Haven't been there in years but just as good as I remember being a kid

This was my first time trying these donuts and overall I really liked them. They are super fresh and nice and fluffy. You can tell they are made from scratch and are much better than neighboring donut options like Dunkin Donuts. I'd definitely come again to try another flavor donut!

Mac's Donut Shop is an AMAZING local business that has been serving the great community of Beaver County since 1958. The friendliness of the staff is just so caring and loving. Ms. Twila and Mr. JW are AMAZING!

Stopped in for my first visit on a Friday morning. They have a small-ish parking lot with maybe 10-15 spots (including the CPA business next door). The interior of the shop is a decent size, with both table and window seating available. They had way more donut options than I was expecting and it was honestly difficult to choose! I went with a chocolate iced custard filled donut and an apple fritter. The prices are more than fair for the quality of the food. The custard donut was SO good. It was super fresh and had plenty of custard filling and icing on top. The staff were super friendly and quick to take customer's orders. I saw several people getting half dozens and dozens. It's worth noting that they have a card minimum of $5. I'd definitely come back again for a sweet treat for myself and/or a box to go for a party or an event.

Mac's doughnuts are always so tasty, fresh, and delicious. We were going to the Steelers home opener, and we decided to take Mac's to the tailgate. Everyone was so excited, and the doughnuts were gone within minutes!

This place is a hidden gem for anyone who didn't grow up in the Aliquippa area. As someone who grew up in the North Hills, I had never heard of Mac's, but boy do I wish I had! The donuts here are so fresh and will give your taste buds such a pleasure! I swear they sprinkle a bit of magic in their dough, because lately food has not tasted as good when choosing to eat out. These donuts are certainly the exception to that and really smack! They always have enough people behind the counter ready to help you and you can get in and out very quickly. The front of the store isn't much to look at from the outside, but on the inside, you get transported back to the good old days where everything was a simpler time. Don't get me started on the smells. I am not even a big breakfast eater but my mouth was watering by the time I had paid for my donuts. The biggest surprise for me was their giant cream cheese icing cinnamon rolls. So good initially on the first day. Ours got a little stale on day two but no worries, just pop them in the air fryer and they come back to life and might be even better this way! Highly recommend grabbing one of those and adding it to your box.

This little donut shop has been a family favorite for decades! My family used to go here every Sunday after church and we all had our favorites. For my sister and my dad, it had to be the long johns... Cream filled of course! When I was a kid I really enjoyed the cinnamon buns and the "long glazed twist." My sister would probably say that my taste became more refined as an adult because I'm now a convert to the long John worship. Every time we come home we have to stop in here. The long Johns are just perfect... The cream inside is light and fluffy, and the chocolate layer is just thick enough to not overpower the taste of the donut. No matter what kind you choose, you can always expect one thing from this place -- they will be so fresh! This place is been around a long time... And has even survived the addition of another donut shop in the area because it's just simply the best! Definitely check this place out as soon as possible... you'll be VERY glad you did!

We have Macs in the office once in awhile. This time I was going to family dinner and wanted to bring donuts so I stopped. It was around 1:30 which is pretty much end of day in donut world so I didn't expect a huge selection. There was a fair amount of the "whites" left (powdered sugar covered filled and unfilled) as well as many plain. No chocolate anything. They also had some of their huge cinnamon rolls. We got a dozen plus a maple glazed cinnamon roll and some type of nut covered thing. The maple glazed was out of this world good! The nut covered thing? Not so much. Was dry dry dry. I popped it in the microwave with a moist paper towel. It helped. Anyhow, other than the stale donut, I've always enjoyed Macs. The reason for the 3 star rating was the service. The kid behind the counter was just surly. We smiled hard behind our masks. We said hello. We said please. We said thank you. Not one word from her other than to let us know our total. There are a bunch of great little donut shops around so it won't be Macs next time. Service and quality go hand in hand.

Went on a Sunday to get donuts for a family brunch. There seemed to be just two females working- one about high school or college aged with dark hair and the other was maybe late 30s early 40s, light hair and in a ball cap. The lighter haired woman was incredibly rude from the moment we stepped in. She seemed almost annoyed that we were there. Her attitude and lack of manners was off-putting and what prompted me to leave such a poor review. Don't know if I caught her on a bad day, but it's not very hard to be a nice person. The donut selection was scarce but that didn't bother us nearly as much as this woman's attitude. Donuts weren't even good enough to go back there.

I have a feeling this place is good, but last time i tried to go they were out of all four donuts we tried to order sooooo.... hard to say.

Stopped in here after passing by when in the area, was really craving some donuts for a early morning sugary treat. Parking is a breeze as there's a decent size lot for parking. On entering I was greeted by two women behind the counter. They want over all the donuts with me and answered whatever questions I had. The inside has all the old school donut shop vibes where it looks like not much has changed since when it first opened. I settled on the cinnamon bun and a Apple fritter. I gotta say the cinnamon bun was not as strongly flavored as I thought it would be but it was still good and definitely fresh. As for the apple fritter it was delicious and not overly sweet but had a fantastic flavor profile. There's lots of other donuts there for whatever you may be craving depending on your donut wants. Also to be noted there is a five dollar minimum if your using a card to pay. Overall this place is better than most donut chains and next time I'm in the area I'll be stopping in again when the donut cravings hit.

I would say it's in the top percentage for donuts around here. I honestly enjoy them especially after a long shift!( I work overnight) Or just a long day. They open early! Their donuts sell really fast!

My husband and I stopped in on our way home from a weekend road trip on a Sunday. We were actually heading to the Dunkin up the road but because we like to support local and try new places we turned the vehicle around to check this place out, use the restroom, grab some coffee and test out some local treats. We were greeted with rudeness from the moment we stepped in. The girl working the counter seemed annoyed to have to wait on us and was annoyed that I was trying to check out the menu and didn't have my mind made up immediately. She handed me my coffees without asking if I wanted anything in them and when I asked if she had cream she again, replied with annoyance in her voice that there was some over on the side or did I want regular. When I said "regular please" she literally turned to walk to the back while saying not so under her breath something about MY attitude. WOW what amazing customer service! Not only would we never go back but we certainly would never recommend this place to anyone. Literally the worst customer experience I have ever experienced in my entire life.

First visit. Counter for truckers to have their coffee. Lots of donuts for sale, with absolutely no labels on them. I was a bit blindsided when they asked well, what do you want? I wanted a half dozen to go, had to point and guess what they had. Donuts were good, just thought they could organize better.

Bear donuts anywhere. I am a sweet connoisseur and I know my donuts. Way better than duck donuts, Dunkin' Donuts, or peace love and little donuts! Be sure to visit the best donuts in town!!

I once had my best friend ship me a few dozen donuts while I was living in Miami! You can smell them baking from blocks away. I don't care for the ladies who work the counter, or the older men who religiously congregate in their seating sections. (They will stare you up and down) but, by far, they are the best donuts I've tasted. My family who comes from out of town to visit always stops there first. Their cinnamon rolls are to die for. Only place that can possibly come close to them are Orhams, but who has time or wants to drive out to Beaver Falls. I grew up eating these donuts and they will forever be my top choice!

I have had plenty of Mac donuts because he been around since forever. They are part of the family here. The place is clean, the people warm and friendly, and the donuts are to die for, what more do you need.

Had a cream filled and a jelly filled today. Perfection. I also noticed they open at 4AM everyday. That's fantastic because I'm usually leaving for work around 5 AM. Another plus, I was there at 8:40 AM today, and there were plenty of donuts left. Not like some of the other shops where everything is gone. The staff is really nice, and the bags are really cute. I love the striped bags!

I work right down the street from here and macs is pretty awesome...it's not orams but still really good, and the hot donuts on the weekends are a nice change up..their cream filled are my favorite, but everything I've had from there has been decent..just a little too sweet for my taste but that's just my opinion.

Donuts are fresh and delicious. So many to choose from and on the weekend you can order them hot... Aaaaamazing. They have cakes too (available if you order a few days in advance) and they are the best around! Highly recommend!

Since my last honest review of Mac's Donut....I have been here a few more times and this place is a 5 star worthy donut shop! Donuts are light, crispy, and chewy with the perfect amount of sweetness. I don't know what happened on the Very first visit but am glad I went back to give it a second, third, fourth try!!

This is probably the best donut place in Aliquippa. Highly recommend the cake donuts and the jelly filled as well! The atmosphere is always nice with friendly staff that are always welcoming.

Been going here as long as I can remember. The cake donuts with the chocolate icing are my usual go to. And if you're lucky enough to be there in a day they have blueberry cake, they're my favorite. Wonderful service, the ladies are all so nice. High recommendation!!

A nice little donut shop. The expected selection of donuts and a few other items: brownies, strudel etc. My wife's favorite donut is of the iced yeast variety with sprinkles. They did not have any this morning. They did however have iced yeast donuts and the lady taking my order took the time to go into the bakery to add sprinkles to 1 donut for me. I obviously am a fan of their service. Pretty good donuts as well.

I l-o-v-e glazed donuts and when a friend who loves donuts as much as I do strongly (ok, passionately) suggested I pay a visit to Mac's, I quickly made plans to find out for myself just how great these donuts really are. Admittedly, I've had some pretty tasty donuts in my life and most definitely favor mom and pop stores for their quality, yumminess and overall charm. Mac's delivered on all accounts. I arrived there bright and early one morning to pick up a dozen to share with my work-mates because we all know donuts are best eaten when shared. Or, perhaps in some cases, lessens the burden of calorie guilt whilst spreading some serious donut joy! So, in my usual fashion, I ordered one glazed (my fave!) to eat in the car on my way to my destination. True donut lovers know the anticipation of biting into a perfectly fresh donut and, more importantly, we also know there is no way in heck we are going to drive even two blocks to said destination without taking a bite as soon as we get into the car. It was sheer delight. Sweetness on earth. Delicious. Why didn't I order two for the road? Next time. While I loved the glazed I came away with a greater appreciation for their old fashioned cake donut which has now replaced glazed as my most favorite donut on the planet. Thanks, Mac. Oh, this same friend who recommended Mac's tells me you can get them fresh and warm right out of the oven on weekend days. Count me in.

My family LOVES Mac's Donuts. We buy them every time we're anywhere in the neighborhood. Their peanut butter cookies are worth a trip by themselves. They also make beautiful cakes.
