I had a wonderful experience with Adrian at the perfumes department yesterday. It reminded me of how fun to shop in store, and there’s still great friendly and helpful salespeople out there. Adrian was very polite and patient with us. Thank you!

I visited Macy’s on July 17, 2025, to purchase an array of items after the Atlanta Airport lost my luggage. I was looking for items to hold me over until my flight home, and Adrienne in the fragrance department helped me tremendously! I told her my situation, and she expressed empathy as well as personally showed me where all the items I needed were located, especially those that were discounted at lower prices. I was in the store for a while, and Adrienne came upstairs to check if I was finding everything okay. She helped me find an Air Jordan carry-on bag that was similar to the one that was lost at the airport. I appreciated all her help and even bought some cologne to show my gratitude towards her helping me in a dire situation. Thank you Adrienne!

I was in the store yesterday and I picked a jacket that I really needed for several upcoming holidays. It was found in the “last act” section and had a last act sticker on it. I double checked the price in one of the scanners as well. When I got to the cashier to pay, the cashier told me that it said it was from a 3rd party seller and he was not supposed to sell it. This cashier’s name was Brandon. He was very sweet about it but called over a manager to figure out what to do next. The manager came over and was very short with me about it. “No, you can’t have this. We can not sell it, he has to put it in the back,” she said. I tried to explain that it had Macy’s stickers on it and I had even checked the price upstairs and, most importantly, I really needed this jacket. This woman was incredibly rude about it and when she walked away, I lingered for a second just to tell Brandon how disappointed I was about all this, and she started yelling across the store that he better go put the jacket in the back immediately, as though I was gonna try to somehow get the jacket anyway. Then she stood there until I walked away. I found this to be incredibly rude and unprofessional! Not to mention, it wasn’t my fault this jacket was accidentally put out on the floor. It had a Macy’s tag so it should have been sellable. What ever happened to “the customer is always right?!” I have always been a very loyal customer of Macy’s but this was incredibly off putting!

Found some shoes at the Men’s store but waited over 20 minutes for someone to come out of the back (on her phone) to help us. Not a single other person around to help. She took the request (while on the phone) and then took another 10 minutes before coming out to tell us to hey didn’t have any shoes. Very frustrating and hopeless. Horrible customer service that makes you wonder where management is.

Google
Had an amazing experience shopping in the shoe department with Dexter! He was so attentive and knowledgeable. He really took his time to ensure that I found what I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back to shop with him!

I always like and support Macy's. This is a shop for the people by the people. They have the best variety of goods with fair prices and nice discounts. The staff is super friendly and professional. The Atlanta store might not be at the level of NYC or Chicago, but it is still up there, among the best shopping experiences you will ever have. Love Macy's!

Google
This is one of my favorite Macy’s. It has kids’ stuff and backstage on the first floor and a Starbucks coffee shop on the main floor. You can always find good stuff at a reduced price in the backstage area such as shoes or kid education toys. I usually stop at the Starbucks after my shopping for a Capuccino or milkshakes. They also serve kid-friendly drinks and cookies.

Since it was my third time coming to the Lenox Square Mall with my daughter, it was my first time actually buying a dress for my daughter to get ready for her prom on May 3rd. At the store, two very caring ladies Tramina and Monica had helped us find the perfect dress for my daughter and even told us that it was on clearance. They have brought joy in our hearts and were so amazing and helpful people and we could not have done this without them. I just wanted to say that this is the best place to find any kind of dress or clothing that you could possibly find and that the people will sure help you. God bless to all the people working at the store and I wish everyone the best. Thank you.

Yelp
There's multiple floors here. So it's a huge Macy's. Which in of itself, can take you 45 minutes if you really browse and walk through. Staff were cool and helpful. They seemed excited to chat with us. Maniquuinns had some cool clothes on. Combinations I would have never thought of which is giving me good inspiration. I thought their brands and products were on point. Place had a lot of clothes but never felt too much or made the place look cluttered. I don't rush to go to Macy's but this one was one of the better ones I've visited. I'd come again.

Yelp
I know Mr. Macy turning over in his grave. I encountered three employees and every single one of them were inattentive and short. I asked one guy as he was walking by if he worked here and he mumbled that he hadn't clocked in and can't talk to customers until he clocks in, he took a sip out his Stanley cup and didn't break his stride. I simply wanted to ask where was the nearest dressing room. I can understand him not wanting to work off the clock but mostly it came off as rude and off putting. The lady that finally told me where the dressing room was was a Macys employee and announced she going to lunch but did point in the general area of the dressing room. I ultimately made my purchase and left but I can't imagine what seasonal shopping will be like if everyone is more focused on going to break than offering the simplest of courtesies

Yelp
Located in Lenox mall this is a great location to shop. There are four floor with backstage on the lowest floor in the basement alongside kids section. Furniture and men's is on level 2. There are restrooms on level -1 and 2. All major brands, prom dress, and wedding dresses are on level 1. It also has an attached MAC cosmetics store. Customer service is located on ground level. The store is usually well stocked, clean and appropriately staffed. There is ample of free parking in the parking garage and in front and side of the store. It can be accessed from the mall as well.

Yelp
This is my fourth time coming up here. First, I was told they didn't have the shoes. Then I came another day and was told they had the shoes. When I purchased the shoes, I was sold two left shoes. Their customer service is terrible. They barely have any employees working to help with your purchase. I will never shop here again. I wouldn't be surprised if this Macy's closes down. I would rather shop online for my shoes.

Yelp
This Macy's is huge!! This place has everything to be desired from makeup to clothing and even houses a Champs Sports. I really enjoyed myself shopping here and found some cute comfy dors while doing it. Definitely what a department store should be !!

Yelp
I had purchased a king size mattress and king platform bed from Macys directly from their furniture store. After a delay of two weeks we finally had our delivery date. They brought the mattress AND NO FRAME!!!! Initially the delivery guy called to see where the frame was and was told the frame not to be delivered until MARCH 17!!!!! No one called texted or emailed us to let us know that the other half of our order wasn't coming with the mattress. I get on the phone with customer service and told them that I'll need to be compensated for their screw up and all they could come up with was $500. After spending over 3,000 on a new mattress and platform bed that's the best they could do. I will NEVER REPEAT NEVER BUY ANYTHING AT THIS STORE EVER AGAIN! The incompetent people at this HORRIBLE store is completely unacceptable! Watch out people don't waste your money at MACYS, they are sooooo bad! That's why they are going out of business!!!! If This is the bullshit they are putting out, Macys should be out of business in the very near future.

Yelp
This store is HUGE! 3 floors of all kinds of shoes, clothes and accessories. You can be sure you'll be buying good quality stuff here and if you check their website, you can find good sales and promotions from time to time. The only thing is that is kind of expensive for us regular folks.

Yelp
The Suit department at this Macys location did not accept and honor return on a suit I purchased a week ago. The suit had stretch marks while wearing it and I explained the whole story to the store managers. The only response and experience I got from Macys was very bad customer care. They basically don't care here at this Macys. Please don't waste your time, money and integrity when it comes to the rudeness of the managers at this Lenox Macys store. Specially the suit department with a manger name Ashley or Wkonda.

Yelp
The Macy's at Lenox looks like a discount store The bottom floor use to be nice now it's turn into a cheap looking discount store. They even have children's toys everywhere. They use to have brands like Ralph Lauren, Eileen Fisher, Jones of NY,even the charter club was better. So now I go to j jill, talbots, etc. I have been a Rich's and Macy's customer for years...no more! I now order Chanel makeup online or go to Nordstrom because the parking deck at Macy's is covered in trash and pigeons.

Yelp
This Macy's location at Lenox Square in Atlanta is a great place to shop for quality clothing, home items, and much more. I really like the selection of different items that they have available here. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable and makes sure that you have everything that you need to shop.

Yelp
Says open at 10am and 10:34 till closed and no one answering the phone. What a freaking joke. Customer service is dead. Avoid this location terrible management

Yelp
Today was my absolute last time visiting the ladies shoe department in Lenox mall. I was Originally in the store for another reason but decided to browse through the shoe department. I saw a pair of shoes and noticed there was no associate on the floor so I headed to find one. A guy came out of the back, saw me and said "You can go back over there, I'm coming back on that side now". I said "I'm sorry, what?" He repeated the same but louder. He didn't greet me nor did he seem to have any professionalism. I headed back to the other side of the department and placed the shoe back onto the display. I've given this location many tries and each time the service is horrible, to say the least.

Yelp
I came into this Macy's to purchase a bottle of my favorite Dior perfume that I recently ran out of. I admit... I was dressed quite casual in sweats and a hat but i hate that the service I was being provided was not justified. Or should I say the lack of service. I stood at the perfume counter with NO HELP! A lady came to stock the register with cash and change and when I politely said hello she completely ignored me!!! I was so shocked that I took a photo of her. She ended up walking away when she was finished with her task without ever speaking to me! I ended up being helped by Flora from the makeup counter. She was so sweet and she clearly loved what she does at the makeup counter. After she helped me with my purchase (of 2 Dior perfumes) she recommended some makeup products for my skin tone. She was such a pleasure to work with!

Yelp
Clean and well stocked location. An anchor department store for Lenox Square, this location is very busy. We were also there during holiday season, so that definitely made it even busier. Despite that, they had lots to offer and something for just about anyone you could be shopping for. They also had a Starbucks location inside of their store if you need a pick me up while you shop. If memory serves it was on the first floor. It was relatively easy to find and the line wasn't long, so it would be a good stop off to refuel and continue shopping. My favorite sections are the shoes and the makeup counters. They really do have most every brand name you can think of and decently priced. I stopped and checked out the shoe sale, but since we were travelling I didn't grab anything due to limited suitcase space. Overall: A- Great location with lots to shop. They do stock up a lot so the aisles do feel a bit crowded, but there is something for everyone!

Yelp
Absolutely the rudest employees. I'm literally never going back there. I'm not sure why they think they can act like they are better than the customer?

Yelp
My old stomping ground. Lenox Square has changed over the years and so has this store. This store was decorated for Christmas. As I walked through each dept, items were neatly on shelves and no mess to be found. My little hidden area is the clearance home goods upstairs. Today, there was an abundance of Kate Spade dinnerware. However, none truly fit my style. Stacks of electrical appliances were already piled high ready for a Black Friday sign. I look for cool cosmetic or fragrance sets that are only available during the holidays. Although I usually order online, it's nice to walk through the store and be able to touch and sample items first. Plenty for your senses.

Courtney P.

Yelp
If i could put 0 stars I would. I found it highly disrespectful that a worker came up to my sister and i and automatically treated us like crap by assuming how much money we had in our pockets and had the audacity to tell us "this isn't what you're looking for, the clearance is downstairs". How dare you? So I took my happy booty across the way to Steve Madden and bought my pairs of shoes. We were in for about 5 minutes and came specifically to go to macys and that's how they treat their paying customers?? Sick

Yelp
This review is for the Macy's at Lenox Square mall. This store came through for me when I was in a pinch, looking for a skinny necktie to go with my navy slim fit suit for an upcoming wedding. My girlfriend got me a couple Michael Kors ties as a gift from this store. I really like those ties, so naturally, we came back to this store looking for more. We shopped around other department and retail stores (e.g. Dillard's, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Brooks Brothers, Zara) and quite honestly, on that day, I didn't find anything that I loved. I also realized how challenging it can be to find good skinny ties, which leads me to believe that online may be the best way to go. In-person, Macy's seemed to have the best selection and, coincidentally, was running a one-day sale on men's neckwear. I found a Georgia Tech gold-colored tie for $65. The one-day sale discounted the tie 40%, so I was able to get it for $39 (+8% sales tax). I thought this was reasonable after trying the tie on and given the tie's quality and the time constraints I was facing. A fellow with an Eastern European accent checked me out. He persistently tried to get me to sign up for a Macy's card. I declined. The men's neckwear section was organized for the most part. However, some of the display furniture and stands were in poor condition. A couple examples include: (1) one of the wooden display table's legs was kicked in, about to give way -- it did not look safe, (2) a couple of the metal rotating necktie stands were broken -- they were lopsided and didn't even turn.

Yelp
I was in this busy mall the last full weekend before Christmas. I had no intention of.ooking for anything Macy's at all. I was actually waiting for a friend who was purchasing a blanket for a homeless shelter donation. Her purchase was do everything so quickly I had to ask what did it cost. $14.99 Martha Stewart Collection King Size. Whoa I guess u better go in Macy's and scoop up a couple for myself. As department stores go, this one was fully loaded with merchandise and full of people. I quickly made my purchase and got the heck out of there. Too many folks. Nothing wrong with the store however.

Yelp
Macy's at Lennox has never let me down...you just have to pack your patience!!! It's July 2020...COVID is in full effect...but Lennox is still popping like the club so I'm trying not to go near that place...BUT I needed 2 black dresses for a funeral...the wake and the actual funeral...dang! Why Macy's at Lenox??? Because they have so many clothes cramped in this place like it's Marshall's so I am pretty much guaranteed to find something... But why Macy's at Lenox tho??? Not only do they have a huge selection, but they are the ATL flagship store...they have A LOT of nice dresses ON SALE... But what about the crappy service and long lines??? Was it worth it??? Hecks yeah!!! 3 black funeral appropriate dresses for $60 total + tax... Masks on and hand sani on deck!!!

Yelp
****REVIEW ON CUSTOMER SERVICE ALONE***** Our trip to Macy's on our last visit actually had nothing to do with shopping. It was actually from a bit of panic because the night before, I purchased $200 worth of Macy's gift cards and they were lost. Here's the thing guys....I purchased them from Kroger. Dah Dum Dahhhhh Walking in with a hope, a prayer and instruction from kroger on what to do (Kroger would not reissue), I was first helped by Tariq, who tried his best to get us taken care of. When it didn't work for him, we were introduced to Tolu, who happily listened to our story, and tried (successfully) to help us. A few key strokes and mouse clicks later, and i'm standing with all 4 of my gift cards that were $50 each, and I have nothing but thanks for these guys and the staff in general at Macy's. I hope you're experience here were just as fantastic as my experience was! Thanks again guys!!

Bo M.

Yelp
I came in looking for perfume as a Christmas gift. Shar and Kash went ABOVE and beyond for me when I was expecting to do everything myself. They aren't just good sales people, they genuinely cared. 10/10 for the service. My mom loved the perfume, thank y'all

Yelp
I always walk through this Macy's when shopping at Lenox to avoid the metal detectors and the parking is more convenient on Macy's side of the mall . To get to the mall you have to walk through sunglasses , jewelry, women's cosmetics, women's fragrance, and the finish line inside of Macy's. Please please please stop by DIOR! they have the BEST customer service. They always have big bright smiles and warm personalities. Carl from DIOR REALLY REALLY made my experience! He complimented me as i walked past and handed me a paper with a perfume sprayed on it. It smelled amazing!! I had to stop . He was so sweet the whole time! Great conversationalist. Personable , funny. His personality brightens a dark room! Everytime I'm looking for anything Dior , i will definitely be looking for Carl!

Yelp
Great pants if they can get them delivered in the correct size. I've been here to order pants 3 times now & I still have not received the correct sizes or colors. The staff has been very accommodating and hopefully the next time I come back I will have the right colors.

Yelp
The mall has gone down hill and the clientele in this Macy's are terribly rude. It feels like shopping in a high speed swarm of 20-somethings spending money they didn't earn. The excess of the shoppers is off putting and combined with the overstocked store makes for an off putting experience. The store and the experience can be characterized by excess and mediocre quality. Congested with nouveau riche who trash the store.

Yelp
I love shopping here. Variety of items to choose from and great prices. Always good deals.

Yelp
I use to hate this Macy's years ago when it was a high school hang out...but in the past few years it's changed and now no more high schoolers hanging out anymore. The Lancôme counter here is phenomenal. I always end up spending a couple of hours extra here whenever they do events....no pressure sales people that explain the products they are using on your face and most importantly how it may enhance the products that you already own. I got my brow done here by a Lancôme specialist for one of their events and he was the best. He explained to me all about face shape, brow bones and how I should groom my brows according to the way my bone structure and not by trend or shape of my eyes....I had never had anyone explain all this to me and in the end all I did was buy a brow pencil but that didn't stop them from spending lots of time with me and treating me like I was an important customer...thanks guys...keep up the good work... 987th review 12/14/2017

Yelp
I HATE going to this Macy's but because it is in my 'hood I don't really have a choice if I am in a bind and need something. The selections are great so that is another thing that makes it hard to stay away from. The service is just awful...I have never seen such consistent bad service time and time again. EVERY department is bad which is even more baffling: MAC counter: they are usually eager to help in any other store. In Lenox, they finish up conversations with their boss (flirting away) over the phone before they even acknowledge your presence. This is when there is no one else in the counter too, btw.. Shoes: I received the wrong size when I ordered online so I went to exchange them in the store. They didn't have my size but when I asked her to look up which other stores had them nearby her response was: "that would mean I would have to call each store to find out and that would take some time". Um, have you met your job?! This is what you are paid to do!! Swimwear: they are located next to Sunglass Hut or whatever sunglass store is stationed there. When you ask someone for help they clearly say "we do not work for Macy's and good luck finding someone to help you in swimwear". Um, no need to be rude! Lift your fat finger and make a call to FIND help for a customer regardless of whether you are part of Macy's or not...sheesh Career wear on 2: Me: "do you have this in my size"? No, that's in the wrong place/doesn't belong on this floor and you have to go downstairs to find it yourself. I am busy". Meanwhile, its crickets and she is "busy" hanging clothes back up on the hanger...this does not mean you can't call downstairs instead of making a customer go back and forth. These are just a few examples from ONE day, ONE trip. I have many from multiple visits here that are pretty much the same, crappy experience every time. Hey, Macy's Lenox - take a lesson from Nordstrom across the way and get your customer service on!

Yelp
There are usually deals whenever I go. Careful to go during the holidays though. It may be overwhelming to go through all the racks with so many clothes, some spilling in the dressing room "discard racks". They carry almost any brand you can think of. The employees have been pleasant and helpful in my experience.

Chesty P.

Yelp
I'm a fan of Macy's because they are always having a One Day Sale and they always send you and additional 20% off coupon if you sign up for their email rewards program. I recently bought a pair of Frye boots during one of those sales for $77, and if you're familiar with Frye boots you know the whopping deal that is! They have a pretty nice necktie selection, they need more bow ties, but you can definitely find almost any color scheme you're looking for here. They have a very nice watch selection as well, and they carry all the basic colognes for men. Always good to browse their clearance racks too.

Yelp
This Macy's has changed a lot since my last review, and I have to say that I don't like it as much. It feels much more high end now, and I rarely find what I need. This Macy's has also been reorganized and I struggle to find what I'm looking for even though I feel like I visit this location all the time. By now, I should have figured out the new layout, but it doesn't make sense and going up, down and through the floors is frustrating. What I do like is how easy returns are when I order items online. I don't have good luck with Macy's online orders, but I still order things, mainly because the returns are so easy in store. They also have a new service where you can order and pay for items online and then pick up your order in the store. No paying for shipping or looking through racks. I LOVE THIS SERVICE. While I still shop at this Macy's, I wish the layout weren't so confusing and I wish I felt more like it was still a place where I could find what I need. Yelp Update 2015 #1

Yelp
I went to Macy's for some new bras and because I love the Star rewards program. I was disappointed in the customer service. I wore a sports bra and when I asked for a bra fitting, the sales associate began to measure me at the cash register. Needless to say, she did not give me the correct measurements. I tried on the bra size given to me by the sales associate and the bra did not fit. I then began choosing bras that were my last known size and they fit. This weekend is the Labor Day sale, so I received a great deal on the bras I purchased. However, after I made the purchase ANOTHER sales associate tells me she "overheard" my bra fitting and I actually was given the wrong size. I'm confused at why this sales associate waited until I had completed my purchase to tell me this pertinent information. She gave me great advice and calmed my hesitation about getting the wrong bra size but I wish she would've shared this information with me sooner.

Yelp
I LOVE Macy's! I basically grew up in a Macy's so long ago that it was once a Burdines! This Macy's in particular is the LARGEST, 3-story store I've ever seen! It has everything in it. The employees are very knowledgeable and give their honest opinion. There is sooo much in this store that it's hard to go in there and not buy anything! They have a large shoe department which I like. I'm probably at a Macy's about 2-3 times a month at different locations, of course. This one is the BEST in all of Atlanta in my opinion. As a matter of fact, you never know what famous person you could run into that day! Almost everybody shops here at some point or another. It's in a great location too right off 400 and parking is plentiful and FREE! There's many places to eat and snack at if you shop yourself into exhaustion. They have excellent discounts especially if you open a Macy's credit card, you receive 20% off most of your purchases! It's a great deal! There are sales everywhere in the store so definitely check it out!

Yelp
The associates here were pretty nice. I've been here a couple of times in times past, but haven't had any good reason to write a review. The most recent visit here was on Black Friday. I know. I know. This review is def long overdue. Lol. The shoes and misses department, well, all over really, was a complete disaster. I mean. It was the biggest holiday shopping season... The associates at the shoe department were pretty helpful even though I can see that they could hardly catch their breath. The wait time was ridiculous, but I know it's because they weren't able to leave the register to retrieve the shoes. Due to some miscommunication in the coupon I wanted to use, I had to make a visit to another cash register after checking out. The misses department was the closet and so I headed that way. The associate here had lots of patience since she ran into an issue with her current customer. Yay! More waiting... With everything said and done, she assisted me in what I needed, and I was on my merry way.

Yelp
After returning items and purchasing more we were not offered a bag to carry our purchases. When we asked for a bag, the clerk pulled a bag out of the trash and that's what we got.

Yelp
HUGE! I love Macy's! I can almost always guarantee that I will find something to wear on a hot date, productive workday or funtime play! And of course, this huge three-story Macy's did not disappoint! Had the convenient pleasure of visiting on one of their famous ONE DAY ONLY SALEs and boy oh boy was I a happy woman! Dresses! Shoes! Accessories! They have a MEN's store... never have I seen that before.... Anywho, there is definitely something for everyone...

Yelp
Other than the NYC Macy's in Herald Square, I find most Macy's to be pretty much the same. Catty women at the cosmetics counter. So-so service. Messy women's shoes selection. Pretty good sales, sometimes, cheap looking jewelry. Prices are better than at Bloomy's close by. This is probably one of the better Macy's in the area.

N H.

Yelp
So upsetting to try and shop at Macy's Lenox Mall. It is so messy, disorganized and even dirty after COVID reopening. This Macy's has always been messy but now it looks like a trash heap. Clothes dirty and all over floor. Soda cups sitting on floor, shelves etc. No staff available. I do not know why they are still in business...they have lost their way in the business of client services.

Yelp
I just wanted to write a quick update to say that this Macy's continues to bring it! I went last weekend during the super busy Friends and Family sale, and they were staffed well with no long lines at any of the counters or fitting rooms. The store remained clean thanks the excellent team members. Despite it being busier than ever, I got personal help from Ashley in Macy's Woman section to help me finally find that black bridesmaids dress I needed. Seriously, come check out this location and get your shopping on.

Yelp
This is my go to Macy's for Women's clothes and shoes. They usually have more than the other ones in town. I went in looking for sneakers but ended up in the regular ladies shoes area. The woman in the sneaker dept Finish Line didn't even speak. So thanks to the ladies shoes dept for saving my shopping trip today. Today I found a cute pair of heels on the clearance rack. They were the last pair and they had a small scuff. Jason was helping me out today. He initially tried to buff the scuffs away with leather lotion but it didn't help much. I wanted them anyway so while at checkout he proactively mentioned a discount for the damage on the shoes and his manager Timphany came to assist. She gave me a small discount for the scuffs on top of the clearance price. They both offered great customer service with smiles. Thanks for a great shopping experience.

Yelp
Joy in Fine jewelry is an excellent asset to Macys! She is knowledgeable, and courteous. I felt at ease with her demeanor and suggestions!!! She is a keeper!!!

Yelp
Bad customer experience has left me avoiding this store and potentially leaving the Macy's brand for good. The store used to be great to buy at and I have been a big fan of the Macy's brand for years. What won me to the Macy's brand was customer experience and customer service which the brand has long delivered. Unfortunately, while some of the employees are friendly and work with you, there is this one older gentleman in a suit that is often rude and confrontational to customers and just ruins the whole experience leaving a bad taste in almost everyone's mouth. At times I am shocked as to why this person is even being kept. Gives off quite a creepy vibe, especially around women, and makes the experience very uncomfortable when shopping. Something has to be done about this sort of thing, Macy's as a brand is too good for this.

Yelp
I must tell your store how very delighted I am with your service. Your salesman doug in mens fine suits and slacks is quite a fine person in our time of need and sadness. A young lady Meneesha also helped so much to find items while doug measured my hard-to-fit son. He showed such kindness and compassion in selecting an appropriate suit for my son who is quite heavy and difficult to fit, and more important for my husbands funeral suit which was so very emotional for me. I was in such a state I tell you. It fit perfectly only from me telling doug his weight and height! This nice man showed such tenderness in every aspect of his service that really helped me get through the day. He was quick and he went as far as to hold my hand when he saw I was getting emotional telling him about my late husband Jerome. Those are the little things that make Macys the great store we all know. Few people in your store match this professionalism these days. Him and the very sweet girl in cosmetics who is always sweet to me and remembered my name each time, even though my finances do not grant me the honor to enjoy fine perfumes very often, keep me returning. Please give doug a medal for being our savior that day. Thank you and blessings, Gladys

Yelp
[Writing this review on behalf of a friend who doesn't have a Yelp account] I came here today to pick up some sheets. There were some issues with using a gift card in conjunction with a Macy's credit card, but the sales associate figured that part out after some time, no problem. At the end of the transaction, the computer froze & my receipt could not print. The sales associate asked another associate on the floor for help but they couldn't figure it out & called for a manager to assist. We waited a little over 10 minutes until another sales associate walked by & asked my sales associate if she was okay (The manager never came by the way) My sales associate told the other associate that she was not okay because the computer froze & she couldn't get it to work & had been waiting on a manager to assist. So the other sales associate comes over & asks me how I normally get my receipt. I told her I wanted a printed receipt. She repeated her question & I repeated my answer. She then says "that's not the question I asked you but okay." Hm That caught me off guard. Her voice was "nice" but her disposition was very off putting & negative. Prior to her coming over, I & my sales associate were patiently waiting for a manager without issue. Perhaps this other sales associate assumed that I was giving my sales associate a hard time about the computer being frozen so she came over with whatever complex she had & decided to be the big bad wolf, idk. So after the other sales associate rudely says "that's not the question I asked you but okay," I told her that I don't shop at Macy's so I don't normally get my receipt in any form. (I was shopping for a relative who could not risk being in the mall during COVID because she's a senior citizen). Her original question was irrelevant & her repeating her irrelevant question was unnecessary. At that point it didn't matter what type of receipt I normally got, because I told her that I wanted a paper receipt that day (mainly because there were issues with the gift card processing earlier & I wanted to make sure everything went through). The other sales associate begins rebooting the system & moves to another computer to help other customers. My sales associate and I wait another 10 minutes for the system to reboot. While I continue to patiently wait... the other sales associate for one reason or another decides to force dialogue on me (after being unnecessarily combative moments before) She asks me (another irrelevant question) "what form of payment did you use?" I almost didn't answer her because I could tell she doesn't get much attention & was needing some that day & obviously likes to antagonize people, but I answered her & said "a Macy's card" she then said "thank you" in a very condescending sort of tone. It was all very weird & left me feeling very unsettled, so much so that I'm writing this review. I'm a fairly laid back individual & don't expect a whole lot as a customer. I just like to grab my items & go but this lady gave BAD vibes. The sales associate with the nasty disposition was named GiGi. My sales associate was gracious & kind... her name is LaKendra. To management: have GiGi check her complex at the door & leave the combative energy at home.

Yelp
The store is very clean and very well managed from an aesthetic standpoint. I have to give it to them there. However, concerning customer service, there has to be some heat applied to management. I see scowls, eye rolls, and solid effort toward avoiding eye contact with customers. It's really such a shame because these jobs were coveted in my day. I worked in Macy's, Robinson's May, AND Windsor Fashions when I was younger and the standards were HIGH for us. No sitting, excessive casual chatting, or eating on your station or on the clock. We weren't even allowed to chew gum where I worked. It's CUSTOMER service, NOT the other way around. These employees are not greeting customers and they also seem to be disturbed by customers when they dare approach the counter and "interrupt" their conversation. SMH. Wonderful opportunity for a retailer in a GREAT neighborhood. Pull it together, management.

Yelp
What happened to the Men's Store? It used to be my favorite place to find everything I ever wanted. Now it's kind of gross. I'm mostly sad about the shoe section. It seems like they mostly just carry their private label stuff and not as many name brands. This really was my go-to place for shoes and other stuff. Not anymore. I mean, I still do a walk through whenever I'm in the mall. I just don't end up buying anything. Macy's seems to stock up on big sizes, bland styles, and ugly shoes. Bloomingdale's is what they used to be and I miss it (especially when the stuff was available at Macy's prices).

Yelp
This store annoys me in one respect. In the men part of the building, the suits are on the top floor, but for some reason that I have yet to figure out, most of the dress shirts, belts and ties are on the bottom floor. So If you want a nice well-matched suit, you have to go up and down the stairs to piece it together. Huh? In their defense, they seem to have one of the larger Men's department than other Macy's that I have been to, so I always stop by here whenever I have the chance.
